Her energy now depleted Allania would not give up on her attack, going for them once again. Waiting a moment for the one energy to tick up before she attacked the nearest one viciously, no longer having the energy to attack them all at once. Her attack though fell short, her dagger tip quivering as she brought it down and round, missing the creature by a large margin. Even though she had missed she was not about to let the creatures have at her, so her arms like lead pipes, she raised her dagger and sluggishly fended off the pincers of the crabs.

She was not done yet, even though she had just the one attacks worth of energy Allania did not relent, charging with a cry at the crabs, pushing them further back and away from Blaze, tears streaking from her eyes as the anger faded to relief. Blaze had survived, but it could have been close. If she had not covered the baby Boar with her body then he would have surely died. Her dagger once again sunk into the scarlet shells that surrounded her, crunching as the shell shattered where she cut. They barely had the chance to flail their limbs at her before she had hopped back to a safer distance, still between them and Blaze.

Allania did not have much of a respite, while she was petting Blaze the sands shifted around her and another group of crabs rose from the sand. It seemed another had spawned underground and was making there way above. As they rose from the ground they struck out at Allania. As the sands shifted Allania dropped to her knees, arching her back over Blaze to protect him from the battle. When she had taken the blows she turned to them with darkness in her eyes, her dagger in hand she ferociously slashed at the crabs, hacking at their body with her dagger, cutting deep.

When the battle was over Allania signaled to Blaze, motioning for him to come from where he was perched atop the dune. He had been safe from the battle there, watching and ready to come charging in if it looked like Allania needed any help. In response to her waving Blaze came charging down the dune, slipping and sliding as the sand shifted around his hooves. He came sliding to a halt next to her, sending up a spray of sand into the air as he squealed in delight. His little dance and display always brought a smile to her face, so with one upon her face she knelt down and began to scratch at his ears, stroking him with her other hand.

Before Allania could even get to her feet the crabs were upon her, slicing at her body with their claws. This time though she was more prepared, being able to lessen the severity of the blows with her dagger to such an extent that her armour's thorns were able to activate, scraping deep grooves into the shells, leaving them pixelated and rough. Getting back to her feet, the crabs having backed away from being injured by her armour. As they were on their back foot Allania rushed them, leaping and spinning her dagger around, dealing the finishing blow causing the crabs to vanish to be replaced by pixels floating in the air.

Allania had grown over confident in her attacks, rushing towards the crabs and trying to attack them like she had moments ago. As her dagger span out around her she ended up tripping over something buried just under the sand, falling flat on her face in the sand. With her back so open the Crabs rushed her, their pincers clamping down upon her body one after the other, her pauldron protecting her from the damage of the blow. When the final crab clamped down it flicked its pincer and sent her flying across the sands, leaving a trail gouged into the sand

Once again Allania let her dagger spin out around her, slicing into the scarlet shell of the crabs. With her attack finished she went back on the defensive aiming to avoid any and all attack aimed at her. It was not difficult though, the crabs may have been huge but they were slow and lumbering.  The crabs pincer's clamped shut feet away from her, sending gusts of winds out from the force of them closing alone.

Allania was deftly deflecting the pincers of the crabs, the razor like edges missing her body by mere inches as she attempted to move them just far enough away to cause them to miss. It was tough to move such heavy objects, but she was succeeding. Once the onslaught waned Allania launched into her own attack, spinning about like she had done just moment before, her dagger once again arcing and slicing into the shells of the crabs.

From atop the crest Allania spotted a group of giant crabs, their scarlet shell like a wound on the desert. Inspecting them for a moment Allania concluded that they'd be a good target. With her dagger in hand Allania began to run towards them, they were not far away, simply milling about at the trough of the dune she was stood on. Covering the distance quickly Allania jumped at them and began to spin, her dagger slicing into each of their shells. It was not that damaging of a blow but it got their attention. Now on the defensive Allania began to avoid the attacks launched at her by the crabs.

Allania wandered into a small shanty store, it was clearly a blacksmith from a quick inspection of the interior. Inside there seemed to be a variety of items out on display. "Hello?" she called out into the store. It was a cozy place in the store, at least she felt it was such. Allania satisfied that she had announced her presence she began to peruse the items on display, looking for anything that caught her eye. While she was searching she came across one item that did in fact catch her eye, it was a chest piece with roses carved upon it. Thorns? I need something like that for my set, Allania thought, picking it up and calling out, "is 1000 col enough for this?" before setting down a pouch of money upon the counter.

With Hydra's word instilling a tad of confidence in her, knowing that neither of them had a clue really as to where they were meant to be going just that it was hidden deep within the forest. They walked together in a content silence, weaving their way through the trees of the forest. The silence was nice, comforting, they had become so familiar that they needed not to speak every instant, it was nice to have a friend like this in the world. They had been wandering about for the better part of an hour, or that's what it felt like and they seemed to have made no progress, for all she knew they could have ended up walking in circle such was the weaving path they took. There was no beaten path here, so who knew how close they were their goal, or if they were going the correct direction.

Allania watched Grave's fight out of the corner of her eye, keeping most of her attention upon the bandit infront of her. Grave's fight lasted a fraction of the time hers seemed to be taking. He had quickly dispatched the opponent, snapping their spine until it was no more. It was certainly a brutal form of combat, but it seemed effective.

It seemed that Allania had not been the only one to be watching the brutal fight besides them, the female bandit having watched in horror as her partner had shattered into millions of fragments that were quickly whipped away by the ferocious wind of the storm. With anger in her voice the female bandit let out a scream as she lunged forward at Allania aiming to cleave her limbs from her body. Allania had but a moment to react, her dagger just raising in time to deflect the bandits blade high into the air. With the womans blade high in the air Allania darted forward, trying to slice the woman across the abdomen, to which she leaped back in response, avoiding the tip of Allania's blade. While she leaped backwards she brought her blade down, catching Allania on her arm, leaving a pixelated gash. When the woman struck though the thorns adorning Allania's armour sprung to action, scraping the womans sword arm. The thorns depleted her health bar, lowering it to nothing. No health left in her gauge the woman gently broke apart into millions of pixelated fragments, following the path of her partner moments before him.

"I believe it is, " Allania admitted, "And red Minotaur? That sounds like it will be interesting" Allania noted, looking forward to the potential battle ahead of her. Allania did not really know how to get to this tomb, just that it resided within the woods. "Well, to be honest with you" Allania said, puffing out her chest a little and looking off dramatically "I have no clue where the place is within the forest" she said with a smile on her face, and feigned pride in her posture. "Shall we head in this direction?" she asked, pointing in an arbitrary direction, it was into the forest, but apart from that she was no more specific. "Though I am open to suggestions" she added before beginning to walk off in the direction she had motioned.

It was time to set off once again, ready to try and find another sub-dungeon. Thus far she had only been able to stumble upon one.It had been a rather pitiful fight she had to admit, the Boss barely laying a hand upon her, she even ended up trying to teach it how to fight. That was somewhat embarrassing, but it felt like she had a proper fight with it, two wills truly colliding.

It was still bright out, the Sun having past its peak and now on its trip back towards the horizon. Just because the sun was on its descent did not however mean it was any cooler. The sweltering heat of the desert stifled her slightly but she relished in it. She may not yet have the Survival skill but she loved the temperature. The sky was a deep blue, dark but welcoming. It was a bit of a change to the blindingly bright blue that normally accompanied the sun.

With Blaze by her side Allania set off to try and find a group of enemies of note, ones that she would be able to gather materials from. The best vantage point for this would be standing atop a dune, so that was where she headed, towards the crest of the nearest dune from which she would be able to see for miles around.

"It's fine, it will just make the exploration all that more exciting" Allania said with enthusiasm. "Let's go and explore then shall we?" she posed, looking back over her shoulder towards Macradon as she walked, "while on our way to this sand shark that is" she added after a moments thought. Macradon seemed to have some form of helmet covering his face, most likely for protection, be it from monsters or the sand that the winds whipped about around them. Allania wore no such thing though, opting to go in just her dress, pauldron and boots, her face fully exposed to the sand that at times felt to be scouring at ones face. Allania did not mind though, she enjoyed the weather on this floor, it seemed so hostile yet it seemed welcoming too. She could not quite describe it.

With the sand at her face Allania continued out into the desert, not really aiming anywhere specifically yet. They would get to their destination eventually, but to her it was the journey that was the more important aspect.

"Well then, it seems we're both enjoying this. I know I am but is she really?" Allania said, her thoughts just coming out of her mouth as she thought them. Realising she was actually speaking aloud Allania quickly closed her mouth. It had been just a few words, but Allania didn't want Rae to be analysing her words, as that may lead to more and more embarrassment. "So then," she started, hoping to distract Rae form her mini monologue, "What shall we do my lady? Is your seat up to your expectations?" she asked, sticking her tongue out playfully towards Rae when she finished speaking, with a bright look in her eye and a smile upon her face.

Allania once again ducked underneath the blade of the statue avoiding it by a mere inch as it whistled past her shoulder. It was then that she heard a yell, her head jerking round in time to see Hydra ram his spear into a statue. One of the inanimate ones. Sighing Allania turned back to the ones that were actually moving. Taking a deep breath she leaped forward, her dagger once again tracing the circular path that allowed it to land a blow upon all four of the statues at once, finally finishing them off as they exploded into pixels around her.

"Don't worry about it, I had a nice nap while I was waiting for you" she said with a small yawn. "Nice spear" she said while admiring the new weapon her friend had, it looked nice, though as a weapon it was something that was a bit bulky for herself. "Oh yeah, the quest, it's to go find this tomb place and get an item. Simple find and gather, though as it is a tomb there will likely be some form of guardian or protection upon it, so it's good to see that you've brought your weapon with you". It was already dark, so finding the Tomb was going to be even harder, the forest was supposed to be akin to a labyrinth by day, so who knows what kind of torture it would be like during the night, though Allania opted to keep that for herself. "Shall we set off then?" she opted.

Once Allania had recovered from the statues strike she launched herself back at them, quickly getting within range and spinning around her dagger cutting into the hard stone of the statues. She dealt a fraction of damage to them, not enough to kill them but they certainly looked worst for ware, many a pixelated red gash lining their arms and body. The injuries seemed to be taking a toll on them, their speed slowing and the precision of their blows waning, to such an extent that they ended up swinging wide and missing her completely.

Allania slowly awoke, her eyes opening a fraction at first, expecting there to be the blinding light of the Sun piercing through the canopy. She was not blinded however, it was dark, and her eyes needed to adjust. Groaning quietly as she pushed herself up into a sitting position Allania looked around, see that it was night. I must have overslept, I wonder if Hydra ever did turn up, she thought to herself. With it night time Allania thought it best to probably head on off back to the safezone, however while she was readying herself to leave she heard a faint humming, carrying over the bustle of the leaves around her. Curious as to what it was Allania headed in the sounds direction, quickly spotting Hydra who was sat up against a tree. "Hey" she called out to him, trying to keep her voice quiet so as not to startle him.

With them on the floor Allania rushed them, hoping to finish the fight before they could regain their footing. That did not quite go to plan however, the Statues quickly spinning up to their feet, their weapons easily deflecting her dagger. She was well within their range now, she had to be if she ever wanted her dagger to land a blow on these relatively gargantuan statues, towering over her. With a little flick of their wrist, the Statue's weapons went whipping round, slamming into Allania and causing her health to lower slightly.

Allania decided it was time to take a short rest from her little desert adventure, and thus settled herself back down to the soft sand beneath her. She took from her inventory a loaf of bread and began to gnaw at it, grinding the tough meal between her teeth before swallowing. It was a bland meal, one that was tough to eat yet it was sustenance, the bare minimum required to survive in this world, where even food consumption was compulsory. Deciding that this was the last time she would go out on an adventure with nothing but the bare minimum in terms of food, next time she would bring something that had even a hint of flavour. Something that could make eating a more enjoyable experience, an adventure in itself. For that though she would have to go and order some stuff from a restaurant and she knew just the little diner that she would have to visit the next time she ventured to civilisation.

Allania finished her search for a material, quickly getting distracted by the prospect of finding yet another sub-dungeon, They were fun things to find, something unique. something new. Something no other player had yet set foot in, unexplored. It was something that she loved the idea of, to find places no one had seen yet, to visit every nook and cranny of this world. She knew that it was never going to happen in its entirety, even if she was her for another 10 lifetimes she would not exhaust what the world had to offer. It was a depressing thought, but one that made every discovery all that more precious.

Cresting the dune Allania saw the desert span out around her, there were many a monster at play today. Rummaging in the sand for food, fighting for dominance. It was just the normal day in the desert, just with a tad more activity. Allania let out a great sigh, she was at full health and energy but she was not up to fighting yet. Having decided she was not going to go on a fight Allania began to scavenge about, searching for any and all materials that could be found in this desolate desert. Materials not gathered from slain enemies.

Her energy had been full for a while but it was only now that Allania hoofed herself to her feet and made ready to head on off. Her health bar was full, Blaze having helped greatly in that "thank you little buddy" she said warmly, bending over to scratch at his ears before standing back up and stretching out. There was still a lot of light, the Sun still high above her head having on just pasted noon. Completing her stretch she looked down at Blaze and spoke "Come on, time to go again" before heading on off up the next dune. Off up to her next adventure, be it a fight, dungeon or materials. Who knows?
