  1. Walking down the street, Caspar made his way to Ronin's shack where the group usually meet up at. After getting Ronin's PM about meeting up with him, he quickly gathered his equipment and got his armor ready for the quest. Walking out of this shop, that he hated to have, Caspar hoped the three of them could get this quest completed without any casualties. While walking down the street, Caspar could see Ronin sitting outside his shop waiting like usual. With his expressionless face apparent, Caspar called out to his friend as he drew near. "Whats up? am I the first one here?" Caspar asked his friend.

  2. "Eh?" Caspar noised as he looked over his shoulder at the girl behind him. As he did he saw her pointing behind her shoulder with her thumb at The Golden Egg. Looking at her then over at the food vendor, he then saw Ronin standing there ordering... his usual. "Oh yeah? Whys that?" Caspar asked as he turned and faced the girl, folding his arms across his chest. "What about that guy whose ordering his usual right now... You think he has bad taste in food?" Caspar asked casually as he eyed the girl up and down.

  3. Teleporting to floor one, Caspar looked around as he got his bearings down. The Town of Beginings always seemed to have a positive atmosphere about it whenever he arrived. It was almost as if the game was designed that way, as a way to make players feel comfortable being here. Walking through the city streets, Caspar couldn't help but smell all the great food that was being prepared around him. "Man... I am so sick of eating bread and drinking water. I need some actual good tasting food." Caspar said aloud as he felt his stomach growl and grumble. "Maybe I should have picked a cooking profession... Then I wouldn't have to worry about food. Ever." He continued as he walked down the street.

    Item Type: Familiar

Enhancements: 1 Slot - Accuracy:  +1 to your BD

Description: A burnt orange cat like creature that has red spiky hair on its head. He also has feathers behind both his ears and has a long vertical scar that goes down his right eye which is missing. He also has a flame at the end of his tail and tattoos on both his left arm and left leg. A serious expression is always etched on his face unless he interacts with Caspar, in which case its a more friendly look.

  5. Sitting on the ground as his newly acquired familiar slowly got up on its feet, Caspar grabbed the large fire cat creature by its head and looked him over carefully. After eyeing it left and right, up and down, it appeared as though his new friend would be just fine. Using his black gloved hand to pet him, he then could hear a thundering purr come from deep inside the familiar's throat. It was clear to Caspar that this creature had taken a liking to him and would aid him in anyway it could. Standing upright, Caspar then looked down at the creature as he folded his arms across his chest. As he did, the familiar sat down and looked up at Caspar with its one eye and began to wag its tail back and forth.

"...Hmm, a scar on your face just like mine. Looks like we have more in common than I thought. Now I just gotta think of a name for you." Caspar said as he continued to eye him up and down. "Well, apparently you are a fire themed familiar and given your experienced look of being around for a long time, I think I'll name you... Mars." Caspar concluded.

Looking over his shoulder at Ronin and Jambi, Caspar then motioned with his head for Mars to follow him. Then, just like an obedient dog, Mars followed right next to Caspar, keeping up with his pace. "Guys, meet Mars... Mars, this is Ronin and Jambi." Caspar said as he introduced them to the fellow scarred face familiar. As Caspar did, Mars got into a defensive stance as if he was protective of either himself, or his new master Caspar...

  6. Still standing inside the shop, Caspar's attention was then turned to Ronin as he called for him about his weapons he made for him. Making his way across the shop and towards the door he then laid his eyes on both Jambi and Ronin who seemed to be waiting for him. "Whats up? I'm here, what do ya have for me?" Caspar asked his comrade. It wasn't long ago that Ronin had made Caspar some nice weapons that he desperately needed. That way he could actually do some damage in a fight if need be, and not have to settle with his starter weapon.

  7. Stopping suddenly at the discretion of Jambi, Caspar looked around and listened intently for whatever it was she had heard. As nothing but the ringing sound of silence filled his ears, Caspar then heard something coming from the bushes nearby. Watching his friend pull food out from his pocket, Caspar then slowly reached behind his back as he pulled his sword free from his sheath. As the blade freed itself, Caspar then observed the unknown creature slowly make his way out of the confines of the thick brush. Stepping into view was what looked to be a large cat like creature that had a burnt orange coat of fur. On top of its head was bright red hair that stuck straight upwards in a spiky fashion as it even had what looked to be an Indian feather lodged behind each of its ears. His face was well defined as his one eye glared at the three of them. His other eye seemed to have been taken away from him as it had a scar running vertically down it. It was clear this large cat had seen some battles and was experienced in the game of survival, which meant this familiar was far more hostile than they thought. Pacing back and forth like a caged lion ready to decide on which prey to kill, Caspar noticed the tattoos that were inked on the familiar's left arm and rear left leg. Its tail held a flame at the end as it whipped it around furiously while little embers spat from it with each swing.

As the fire themed cat turned and faced the other direction with a growl, Caspar knew now was the best chance to strike. Leaping from his position without notice, Caspar landed in front of the beast as it then growled loudly and arched its back as it got ready to pounce on the swordsman. With his sword equipped, Caspar then readied himself for the familiar to attack. Kicking off the ground, the one eyed large cat jumped at Caspar as it knocked him backwards and to the ground. With a hard thud, Caspar lodged the side of his blade in between the creature's massively sharp rows of teeth as he gritted his own. The creature was definitely a feisty one as he could hear it hissing at him right in his face through the sharp blade in between its jaws. Freeing his hand that helped brace the blade, Caspar then punched the familiar in the face as a distraction so he could get his leg up and foot across the beast's stomach. With a loud grunt Caspar rolled backwards as he threw the beast off him and let him sail through the air until he struck a tree behind him hard. Flipping up off the ground, Caspar then yelled as he ran towards the beast with his sword in tow as sparks flew up off the ground as it was being drug. Likewise, the fire themed beast raced directly toward's Caspar as the flame on its tail was now larger and more wild. As the two finally meet each other full speed, Caspar gripped his handle with his other hand as he then slashed his sword in a horizontal fashion, almost mimicking a baseball swing. Meanwhile, the familiar then produced its large claws from his hand as it slashed horizontally as well.

    *SHIEEEKK!!*

... Frozen in place the two of them stood still as nothing but silence filled the air. Looking straight ahead the two of them remained like statues as if they were waiting for the command to move again. Slowly a gentle breeze blew through the area as it ruffled Caspar and the familiar's hair delicately. Upon closer inspection the flame that made up the tip of the familiar's tail slowly started to diminish as it started to flicker more and more. Slowly closing its eyes, the cat like beast then let out a moan as it slumped over to its side and laid there.

Slowly standing upright, Caspar then conducted a few twirling moves with his sword before returning it to his sheath behind his back. As the sword was secured the sheath and the sword itself instantly vanished as crystal shards shot in all different directions since Caspar unequipped it. Swiping his finger downward, he then accessed his menu as he selected a potion. As it appeared in his hand, he then turned around and made his way over to the familiar. Crouching down next to it and lifting it's head up, he then positioned his body so that his lap would act like a pillow.  Lifting its head upwards, Caspar then gave the familiar a potion in order to keep it alive. As soon as he did, he then saw the flame on its tail start to grow larger and larger until his attention was then turned to a warmth on his hand.

Looking down, he then saw the familiar lick his hand as if it was thankful for him saving his life, even after Caspar showed to be the more dominate one of the two. "Gotcha..." Caspar whispered aloud.

  8. "Dingle berries huh?" Caspar questioned as he thought the name sounded interesting. "Well as long as they don't taste like [censored], I guess that's all that matters." Caspar said as he then turned his attention to Ronin. "Perfect, sounds good to me, that will save us a ton of time if you already accepted the quest. I guess there is nothing left to do but to follow Jambi to this... hot spring area." Caspar said as he then unfolded his arms from his chest and started to make his way in the direction Jambi was skating off to. He had never been to his area before, so it would be interesting what type of familiars would be roaming around... if they had the luck of even seeing one..

  9. Arriving at the shack late, Caspar was ready to watch his two friends get married. He never been to a wedding in SAO and to be honest he never even knew you could get married in the game. But given their current situation he guessed this was a good of time as any. Who knew when they would be getting out of here... IF they would be getting out of here. Since he was a friend of theirs in the "real" world, he thought it would be best he arrive and witness their magical day together here in SAO. Standing next to a couple other strangers in the room, Caspar folded his arms across his chest and leaned up against the wall as he awaited the ceremony to begin...

  10. Walking into the store at the request of his friend Ronin, Caspar walked inside as he saw Jambi across the room. "Hey Jambi, if its at all possible, could you make me some leather armor? I'd like for it to have the highest damage mitigation as possible you can create if you could?" Caspar asked as he made his way up to her. Hoping for the best, Caspar knew she would be able to make it, after all, he needed some good armor now and what a better opportunity than this to get it done. If all went well, he might get it for free too...

  11. Caspar stood in place as he heard the story of Twist being shared to him by Jambi. It was an interesting story to say the least, but the way he saw it was that some people handled the stress of being stuck in here different than others. In this case, she had a tree that talked to her and helped guide her. Accepting it for what it was, Caspar nodded to Jambi as she concluded her tale of her friend. "Sounds good to me." Caspar said as he then looked up at the tree. "Hey Jambi, by any chance is your friend here a fruit tree? I think we still need some food to help lure a familiar out." Caspar mentioned.

  12. Walking up to the two of them, Caspar knew he two of them made good items that not only looked cool, but had cool names to them as well. "Hey Ronin" Caspar said as he approached the young man who was standing outside. "By any chance is Jambi inside? I wanted to ask her if she can make me some armor that has the highest amount of damage mitigation she can produce." Caspar added as it always has been one of the things he always wanted. Stopping in front of his friend he then saw the sign he had out talking about free items. "I'll take a look at those while I'm in there as well."

  13. Walking into his friends Shop, Caspar looked around as it had been a long time since he had been in his shop. Compared to the last time he was in Ronin's shop, it definitely looks a hell of a lot different. There were more weapons to choose from and even shields were available. It was clear that his friend had been busy lately crafting and creating all these cool looking weapons. "Hey, whats up? I got your message about you crafting some swords for me. From the looks of it, I believe they are Leo's Fang, and Leo's Fang II? Am I right orrr?" Caspar asked.

  14. Walking up behind the two of them, Caspar looked up at the giant tree as he eyed it up and down casually. "Why is it called  Twist?" Caspar asked. Caspar didn't feel like asking Jambi if there was something wrong with her, after all, she did say her friend was a tree. Plus it was wearing a sweater. Folding his arms across his chest, Caspar stood in place as he looked around the area for anyone else that was seeing this. Turning his attention back to Ronin and Jambi, Caspar then awaited in place as he looked back at the tree. "Hmm... maybe she means this tree is an event or there is a secret character or NPC trapped inside." Caspar thought to himself..

  15. After hearing Ronin's rant about not getting food, he did have a point. "He's right, we did forget to get some food, but then again we do have a good supply of all the food we need right here in this pond." Caspar said as he looked down at the glistening lake. "The only problem is, I don't think any of us have a fishing skill, so I guess we'll have to do it the old fashion way." Caspar added as he cupped his chin in thought. At that point, Jambi had already unequipped all her clothing as she jumped into the warm waters of the lake and casually played around on the water's surface. "Well, it looks like she has the right idea." Caspar said as he looked over to Ronin. "I'm down to try and fish, but I'm not getting my hopes up either..." He said.

  16. Standing outside the shanty like shack Caspar waited on his friend after he called for him, notifying him they were good to go. "...Jesus, that the hell is taking him so-" Caspar started to say before he was cut off by the sudden horrid smell of [censored] in the air. Jerking his head to the side and walking away, Caspar was FORCED to take a few steps away from the shack. After watching Japhy hiss and scurry off down the street, Caspar then had the same intentions as he looked in the direction of the falls, wondering if he could make it there by himself safely. "... Dude, it smells like you shat in a baby diaper, then took a jar of month old aunt flow and mixed it together, RIGHT after you collected sweat off a three hundred pound fat ass and mixed it together like a Texas Chili Bowl. ONLY to then put it in a microwave on high for 30 seconds, pull it out, place it on a hot skillet then turned the heat off after it dehumidified itself, cut it open and let the stench pour out. THAT is what came outta yer ass." Caspar said as he then saw his friend emerge from his shack. "Yeah, we're good to go now, are you?" Caspar said as he then waved the air and headed for the falls, not because he was eager to get going, but because he could hear other players asking why it smelled like big foots dick around here...

  17. "Alright, I need to get strong as fast as possible. But in order to do that, I'm gonna need some good armor and weapons. All I have on me right now is my starter weapon." Caspar thought to himself. "If I can get my hands on some good armor, I'd be able to stand a chance against most monsters on this floor, but I should concentrate on getting as much HP and armor as possible first." He continued to think as he cupped his chin. Standing in the middle of the street, Caspar then decided that would be the best route to take for now. After all, he was playing solo right now...

  18. With his room paid for, Caspar got the info on which floor and room it would be. Taking note of it, he then thanked the NPC behind the counter as he made his way out the door and back into the Town of Beginings. Walking out the door, he knew he had to get started on getting some money so he could get some good gear. Looking around for any shop in sight, he wanted to get a ball park estimate on just how much col he needed to earn to buy the things he felt he needed to survive. Weapons, armor, crystals, and not to mention skills...

  19. Walking into the INN, Caspar could tell that most the occupants from last night have left and moved on to the next town. Making his way up to the front counter, Caspar leaned forward against the counter as he attempted to try this again. "Hey, by any chance are there any free rooms I can use for tonight?" Caspar asked the tenant behind the counter. "Oh, hello there! And you're in luck we sure do have a room you can use! That'll be 50 col please!" The NPC said. As soon as she finished, a window popped up in front of Caspar as he then clicked on the accept button, paying for the room.

  20. Slowly getting up off the ground, Caspar headed down the slope like hill as he knew it would take him some time to get down from there anyways. Once he finally got down to the surface, he looked around the street and saw that most the players had moved on. This was good news for him since he could now travel around the city with no one getting in his way. Looking around, he then decided to head back into the INN. If what he suspected was correct, then the INN would not be packed anymore and he could reserve a room for tonight no problem..

  21. The sounds of birds chirping quickly forced him awake as he opened his eyes suddenly. As the shadow's of the birds flew overhead he blinked slowly as he remembered he was still in the game. It was crazy to think about. After all, he never slept in game before, but when he did he seemed well rested as if he slept in the real world. Closing his eyes and stretching out his limbs, he then blinked a few more times as he attempted to get his [censored] together. While laying on the ground, he swiped his finger downward as he opened up his game menu. Looking at the time, it was time for him to get going...

  22. After an hour or so of starring up at the stars, Caspar then laid down on the soft grass as he placed his hands behind his head. Using both his palms as pillows, Caspar then slowly closed his eyes as tried his best to drift into sleep. The sounds around him slowly diminished as all he could see were the backs of his eye lids. A small warm breeze went past his body as he felt it comforting. Not to mention the fact that he was much higher than the rest of the city that most sound was muffled and almost non existent. One good thing was that he was in a safe zone as well, so he could sleep without worry of being killed.

  23. Slowly making his way up the slanted hill that rested behind the Town of Beginings INN, Caspar took his time as he wasn't in a hurry at all. The hill was pretty steep but from what he could tell on the ground it was flat on top. Which would prove to be a good place to rest for the night. After several minutes of hoofing it up the steep hill, he then made it. On top of it, he could get a good view of the town of beginings just like he had hoped. Slowly crouching down, he then took his time sitting down on the lush soft grass as he exhaled. "This will be fine for tonight..." He thought to himself as he then looked up at the starry night sky above.

  24. As the gypsy lady spoke to Caspar he stood in place as he watched her extend her hand out towards his chest. With his arms still folded across it, he held his expresssionless face as he listened to her talk about him needing a pure heart. Not saying a word, Caspar let the old woman be as she finished her speech and slowly hobbled away from him. As she did, a window popped up in front of Caspar's face suddenly allowing him to accept the quest. Freeing one hand from his chest, he then hovered over the accept button briefly before accepting it.

    *Click*

"Alright Ronin, we're all set here. Les go." Caspar yelled from outside Ronin's shop.

  25. "Alright, cool I'll go ahead and finish digging this out if you want to try and get that dune buggy to work, so we can travel with this [censored] faster." Caspar said as he continued to dig away at the lost cargo. After several minutes of digging around the cargo, Caspar decided that this was going to be as good as it gets. Nodding to his friend, he then motioned for him to come over and help load it onto the dune buggy. Soon they would be free of this desert heat, and soon he will have a useful skill to use in order to free himself from this game.

Once he cargo was loaded, Caspar and Ronin took off like a bat outta hell towards the NPC who first assigned the mission to them. On the way there, Ronin made sure to have some more fun with the dune buggy as he jumped some more sand dunes. Once they finally arrived to the NPC, they pulled up with the cargo in front of her as she eyed it over in amazement. "Thank you so much!" She said happily as a window suddenly appeared in front of Caspar. Clicking on the accept button, Caspar then obtained the skill "Surivial" for his own.

Not wasting anymore time, Caspar and Ronin then teleported back to Floor one where they instantly felt relieved to be out of the hot desert heat. "Thanks for coming along, now we can get some well deserved rest from that exhausting heat." Caspar said to his friend...
