Ah, in that case I feel that starting OP for the signup phase and then PP for the the actual battle is fair, not because of late joiners, but late joiners that want to take advantage. If the boss has 1 HP then someone can swoop in like a vulture, and even if they don't do that they can enter the thread and just shiv someone and leave the next post.

That's what I mean, in character it's not an event that everybody knows about, it's a group of high level players or even just guilds meeting up and deciding on a date, and then they go. These groups would have to actually willingly make the knowledge known to the public beforehand.

And I think it would make sense since the group leader likely sends out mass PMs to all the people who are interested or strong or something. Like, the meetings are held for a reason I like to think. That's why Little Timmy on floor 1 doesn't try to slay the dragon.

That's kinda an interesting scenario really. The boss raids in-universe would be 'open' in that anybody can just waltz right in, but 'closed' in that everyday people aren't given the time and date where the groups meet up at the door. You'd actually need a reason to be at that boss door instead of just chilling in the wilderness in a way if you aren't in the main group of players meeting for the boss.

Well, not that EXACT scenario, just generally having an alt that you're not sure how their return would be taken, positive or negative, and so you kinda hold off on it or don't know what to do :P

Well, let's see, I need approximately 1680 items sold.for a grand total of 3360 total EXP (give or take 43 exp, whatever) to be boosted straight to rank 5. I don't actually charge for the basic items since they are so basic, so that's 100 Col. 100 x 1680 = 168000 Col.

I wonder how the PK prison in SAO ran, that always had interested me. Do they force them to remove their weapons and stuff like with accepting death duels in people's sleep and then lock them in a cell, or do they actually get meals and stuff?

If we get right down to it there is nothing stopping anyone there from just shanking Teayre then and there, Calrex included who could very well be very unhappy, or possibly hounded by other players to take responsibility for his spouse.

Not sure they do, I mean, there isn't a lot of arguing room with the statement "You are NOTE SAFE" and "other players may attack you if they so wish". Kinda seems like it's pretty spelled out.

I can agree with that, I personally wouldn't start a career in murder where the most influential people are.

I'd personally put on a mask and full-body covering equipment with maybe some padding to hide my body shape. Unless you are tracking them by name then you wouldn't be able to see who they are unless they willingly joined your party.

And yeah, it's pretty cool to watch~!

A room full of people on low hitpoints and possibly energy, exhausted mentally at the least from the fear of death and finally lowering their guard to create openings that were not present before...

Nope, can't imagine why someone would pick that venue for some axe murder. I mean, it's tragic and stuff, but if you are evenly matched with the people up there or even just have a teleport crystal, it's a damn easy way to assassinate someone.

Then on the other hand doing it in public is also a surefire way to have your name and face known and plastered everywhere for a lynching. Pros and cons.
