  1. "Yay!" She said excitedly, the exclamation completely sincere, although childlike. "You can call me whatever you want. Neve, Ivory, Kit-kat, I've gone by all of them." She said with a smile, not giving a second thought to giving her real name out. "And if it makes you happy gathering information, that sounds great." She said, wondering if he would be upset when they finally escaped and all of his work was for nothing. She debated asking him, but decided not to. Maybe he got pleasure from being able to help others through is information gathering rather than the information gathering itself. "I might start a book myself someday. I don't have any idea what I might put in it though. I don't really have anything that I can think of off the top of my head." She nodded ahead. "We should probably get started with this though. Probably is best to do it as early as possible just in case there are any complications."

  2. Ivory nodded to him. "It makes sense that they would be different, although the design of the cover, bar the color, is very similar. Mainly it makes sense because I'm not a fighter. I don't really have any books on weapons or fighting. I want to protect, not harm." She explained. She put the book back in her inventory and pulled out her starter shield, her lack of equipment making it seem as though she was a low level, or a new player. "And sure I know that one. I'd appreciate it if youd let me help you out. So even if you don't want my help you could do it a favor to me. I do need more skill points so I can do my job better." She stated with a smile. He seemed like a nice guy, but she couldn't figure out why he kept looking at her as though she were familiar. She was certain she had never met him before. Still, for his sake and to spare him an awkward conversation she refrained from mentioning it.

  3. She looked up from her book and smiled at the other player who was staring at her in a kind of weird way. She ignored it though as he finally spoke. "Its a book on herbology, specifically an ingredient called elwind." She explained. "My parents are both healers of a sort in the real world. They make potions and stuff to help people using herbs. I'm interested in it too, and that transferred to this game." She frowned momentarily. "Of course, potionmaking in this game is, sadly, a lot simpler than I would like." She stated, closing the book and holding it by her side. "Is there something you need though? Most players wouldn't stop someone just to inquire about the book their reading, not unless its a well known demonic or the like. I'd be happy to help you with anything you might want help with." She said with a warm, friendly smile to him.

  4. Ivory hummed a tune to herself as she walked, wondering if she could find someone to take her on a quest. There was a downside to being a completely support based build, mainly that she couldn't do much by herself. She was a protector, not after glory. She gripped the book that she had been reading, the green cover standing out against her white shirt and blue skirt. He hair streamed behind her in the wind as she made her way towards the quest board to see if anyone there was looking for a partner for a quest. She didn't have any gear equipped, but despite that she was a pretty high level, especially for not actually having any gear at all. Still, she generally prioritized others before herself. She believed that everyone deserved happiness, and helping others achieve that was what made her happy. She opened up her book, walking with her eye staring intently at the book, not paying attention to where she was walking and almost bumping into another player with white hair. "Whoops, sorry." She said, not looking up from her book.

  5. Ivory was a little bit confused by the newcomer. Zulas had said that he was quiet, but she was having trouble making out what he was saying over the conversations that were going on around them. He was speaking quietly, and she had to strain to hear what he was saying. At least there was nothing wrong with his pronunciation. Still, she got the gist of what he was saying, and also made a note that he hadnt actually introduced himself. She didnt comment on it and instead just came to the conclusion that he was one of those straight to the point people who didnt understand the pleasantries or necessity of small talk. "Thats a bit silly. A personal vendetta is supposed to be personal, why would you try to bring others into it? I'm Ivory by the way, nice to meet both of you. I'll leave you guys to it. I have more people to meet. Ill be back around later if you guys are still here." She stated, smiling broadly before walking towards the center of the group.

  6. Ivory frowned. "Some people were broken by being trapped in this game. Others got stronger. The fear overwhelms too many people, especially with that whole spree of player killings that occurred a few months ago. Some people just dont want to take risks anymore. Its very sad." She looked over at Domarus and smiled. "Still, it seems like a lot of people have been getting over that recently. I've been seeing a lot of new faces. Still, it seems like every time things level out like this and get better something happens. I wouldnt be surprised if this coming up boss fight leads to the death of multiple frontliners. That just seems to be how it works in this game. I think it's Kayaba's way of motivating us to continue striving to escape rather than just settling for this world." She looked around the settlement once more. "I really dont know what to do... You decide."

  7. She smiled. "Thats pretty cool. As long as you dont feel like your forced to join the frontlines. And i know pretty much everyone. I try to introduce myself and at least get everyone's names. I dont know those two over there." She said, motioning to the two that had been flirting. "Or that guy right there." She stated, once more motioning to the person who she was talking about. "You probably wont get to the frontlines for a very long time. I'm only joining as early as I am because i'm a healer. I wont be doing any of the fighting and probably wont be getting hit too often. Still, it's better to be safe." She looked back over at the other player who had approached and seemed as though he was waiting for them to finish their conversation. She looked at Zulas. "Do you know him? He looks like hes waiting on one of us." She commented. He was either waiting for Zulas or waiting for her as she was the "hostess" of sorts for this little get together.

    @Raze

  8. Ivory smiled. "Nice to meet you Zulas. I'm Ivory, and im not part of the frontlines just yet. Ill be participating in the next boss fight though, after this one." She explained. She cocked her head to the side a little, one of her ears twitching a little bit. "Why do you ask?" She questioned, wondering if he was planning to be a part of the next boss fight as well. She had held off on it even though she had already finished her healing build because despite her desire to help others she didnt want to die and felt as though she needed both better equipment and more levels. She just didnt feel like she could take a single AOE attack from any of the floor bosses, even the ones that they had already defeated. She booped him on the shoulder. "If you arent already, I'm sure that you'll get there in no time at all. Well, if thats your goal." She said witha smile. For all she knew he didnt want to be on the frontlines.

    @Zulas

  9. Ivory smiled as she saw Beatbox let out a small smile. She leaned over and gave him a quick hug before standing up. "I have to introduce myself to all these other people, as im the one hosting this event. Afterwards we can hang out or whatever you want." She opened her HUD and sent him a friend request before waving goodbye to him as she walked away towards a newcomer. "Nice to meet you @Aereth. It's no problem, I love meeting new people and watching friendly competition." She smiled and hugged him in greeting before moving on. She had already talked to Domarus, Keres, and  the other woman... That left the three people, two of which appeared to be flirting. She didnt want to get in their way. Instead she made her way over to the third, a man who was sitting against a tree and looked as though he was waiting for something. "Heyo, I'm Ivory. Whats up?" She asked.

    @Zulas

  10. Ivory listened to him, noting that it sounded more as though he were talking to himself than to her. "Thats silly. Why would I want to forget you? I want to meet everyone in this world and do what I can to make them happier. Plus, your cute!" She said with a wink. Her face then turned serious as she looked directly at him. "I dont know the whole story here, but what I do know is that everyone has bad days, or even weeks. One bad decision doesnt make you bad. Do you what makes you good or bad?" She gave him a small smile. "Its your intention and desire. If you dont want to be a bad person then you arent. It doesnt matter whether you make the occasional mistake or have an occasional moment of hatred and evil." She said, really wanting to give him a comforting hug but not wanting to invade his personal space.

    @Beatbox

  11. She smiled, glad that she had at least gotten a reaction. "I'm Ivory, but you can pretty much call me whatever you'd like. One of my friends calls me Kitty." She stated, pulling her knees up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them. "I came over here because your looking pretty down. To tell the truth, I really want to make you feel better, but i understand that sometimes we, as humans, just want to wallow in our misery. I just want you to know that you can tell me anything at all." She said, one of her cat ears cocking a little bit as she waited for his reply. She hoped that she wasnt being too straightforward, but she felt as though sometimes that was the best way to talk to someone. "Ill even try to give advice if you want that. I know that we dont know each other at all, but I truly do care about your happiness, whether or not you believe it."

    @Beatbox

  12. She smiled. "I dont really need the evasion. Im a healer, so i dont actually really do anything but heal the people who take and deal the damage. Maybe it will be useful if I ever find myself in a pvp fight." She said. Ivory looked over at Keres who was grinning for some reason. "Well, If I go home all im going to do is nap. I wouldnt mind hanging out with you for a while if your up for it." She glanced around the settlement, wondering if they had anything fun to do, like ziplining or a monster arena. Ivory really wished that Kayaba had implemented some sort of monster arena that parties could enter and fight mobs and stuff for prizes. "So, what sort of plans do you have for the rest of the day?" She queried, rolling the sleeves up on her new coat just like the ones on her other coat had been. She had a very specific style, and not having the sleeves rolled up made her seem much more serious. When the sleeves were rolled up she really looked like she was ready to get messy and have adventures.

    @Domarus

  13. Ivory smiled broadly and waved to the new woman enthusiastically. "Yes ma'am, I'm Ivory!" She said, introducing herself. Just then she heard another two pairs of footsteps and her grin broadened. More people for her to hang out with! She turned to face them excitedly and was pleasantly surprised to see Domarus and Keres. "Yep. This is everyone, but I'm sure that more people will be coming soon." She smiled at Keres. "You look very cute today Keres-chan." As she spoke she noticed another person approaching before wandering off and sitting down with a glum expression on their face. She looked to Domarus. "Ill leave you three to it. I have some cheering up to do." She said before walking over to the man. She sat down next to him and gave him a gentle punch on the shoulder. "What's wrong?" She asked, smiling kindly, prepared to do her best to cheer the poor guy up. It was what she saw her purpose in life to be anyway, to make everyone happier.

    @Beatbox

  14. Ivory smiled and waited in the fields outside of the starter city. She had posted a notice on the message boards for a meet and greet of sorts. She had been wanting to get to know the other players in the game better for a long time, and hopefully this would provide an opportunity to do so. She didnt have any tables or anything set up like the last meet up she had been to, but she felt as though it wouldnt matter that much. She was confident that plenty of people would show up, and if they got bored they could always test their strengths against each other. The strong players always liked doing that sort of thing. She hummed to herself as she awaited the first arrival, walking in circles and kicking at the grass happily, in her own little world. She couldnt wait to make all sorts of friends and to chat the day away. It didnt occur to her that the day might go badly or that no one might show up.

  15. "No, im a healer." She said. She had some extra skill points, but she had been planning on spending them in combat related skills. Now that she thought about it maybe she should get some scout related skills though. That way she wouldnt have to hurt anybody and she could still continue to help out other people. "I might make a healer scout hybrid though... I've already pretty much finished with the healer part." She explained as they walked back towards the blacksmiths. When they reached the shop she ran in to accept her reward, trading the blacksmith the item they had gotten from the dark elf and getting a leather coat that looked exactly like her normal one. She unequipped her coat and put the new one on, marveling at how similar it felt to her old one. This one would help her dodge things though, unlike her other one. She walked out of the shop, smiling. "Anyways, as I was saying, I have some free skill points, so if you need someone who can do scout things I can help out. I thought about it a bit, and the healer scout hybrid build might be the best one for me."

    @Domarus

  16. Ivory smiled at him. "I dont mind that it took a bit longer than expected. It was quite entertaining watching you two dance around like that. You definitely have talent for fighting." She nodded as he said that they should go back to retrieve the quest reward, fiddling with her glove as she did so. She had been hoping to be able to show off and heal him a bit, but it seemed like that wasnt going to happen. "I dont have any plans. I usually just nap and talk to random people, so my schedule is always free." She replied, impressed by what he said his day was filled with. She couldnt imagine grinding all day and how boring that must be, even if he did have Kere's there to keep him company. "We've already done what I want to do, so how about you decide this time. Im not good at making decisions quickly."

    @Domarus

  17. Domarus certainly looked intimidating decked out in his armor. She actually found it kind of comforting, he was intimidating, but it wasn't aimed at her or Keres, and instead at the enemy. She felt confident that he would keep them safe. Not that she actually felt like she was in much danger from the elf. He seemed to be a very low level. Still, despite the elf being such a low level, it seemed to be quite fast, dodging Domarus with what seemed to be little effort. Still, Ivory could tell that the only reason his reaction had been so fast was because he had been expecting the exact attack Domarus had thrown out. The elf was obviously experienced in fighting, but even that experience likely couldnt stand up to Domarus stats, regardless. She kind  of wished that she ahd a weapon so that she could help out too, but even if she had one she'd probably just end up hurting herself rather than the enemy.

  18. Ivory nodded. She understood what he meant, and although she didnt fully agree with what she believed his plan to be she wasnt about to stop him, especially as it seemed that the man, Addel, had it coming to him. She looked over at Keres. "Of course." She didnt see why it would be hard to keep it a secret. "I wish you luck with Addel. I hope it all goes according to plan, although somehow I doubt that it will." She looked ahead of them.. It looked as though they were about to enter a clearing, likely where the boss would be at. "Well, from what youve said im going to assume that this boss isnt going to be any sort of problem for you. I'm all set to heal you anyway." She stated, pausing just inside the tree line and looking over at Domarus, momentarily wondering if he wanted her as a follower or an ally.

  19. Ivory smiled at the cute lioness and reached down to pet her gently, giggling as the lioness tried to bat at her ear. What a cutie. She looked over to the woman who owned the lioness and noticed that she was looking around for something. Ivory hadnt been aware of anything interesting nearby, such as a quest, but the woman was either looking for another player or one of those. She gave the lioness one last pet before standing back up and turning to face the woman again. "I'm Ivory, best healer in the game. Can I help you somehow?" She asked excitedly, enamoured by the prospect of going on a quest with the lioness cub. The woman herself seemed interesting, but Ivory really just wanted to play with the lioness cub more. She smiled at the woman before looking back at the lioness. Maybe she should get a pet sometime too.

  20. Ivory nodded as Domarus spoke about the situation with the young girl from before. It was quite obvious that he felt very very strongly about the issue, and she couldnt fault him. She felt quite strongly about it as well, although for much less personal reasons. It was plain that Domarus knew the girl and that what had happened had upset him. "I'll help, but first we both need to get some more levels." She said. Specifically him. At his level her healing was pretty much worthless in a player versus player situation, and in quite a few player versus monster situations as well. This boss would be very weak, so she wouldnt even need to heal, but later on, if they stuck together, she would need to be able to keep him safe. "When you manipulate someone with words and actions it isnt the same as forcing them. You change them and their perspectives, but thats really on them for changing to fit what you want. If you arent drugging them, thats completely natural." She said, not having any problem with his wanting to be in control. "I said it before, some people want to serve and others want to be served. Keres is the former and your the latter." She gave him an understanding smile. "Submission and dominance is a natural part of our species."

    @Domarus

  21. Ivory nodded. She was certain that whatever it was that Domarus was keeping a secret from most people wasnt a bad thing, but was likely just something that most people wouldn't like. She raised an eyebrow as he asked her to tell him more about herself. She didnt usually get asked those sorts of questions. "Well, most people think that i'm an innocent naive ditz, but that's pretty far from the truth. Before this I was in medical school in Japan, and before that I was living in America with my family. You really lose a lot of innocence when you travel that far by yourself." She stated. "I just tend to look at things differently from other people, and I dont see the point of living if you arent happy. So I'm pretty intelligent, I just like the shallowness of small talk and making new friends. My personality is my deception." She explained. "It tricks people." She finished. She smiled. "I dont really see things as good or evil, i base my judgments off of peoples happiness. And an imposed happiness is the biggest wrong in the world." She said, thinking of the girl that had been at the tournament who was obviously drugged when she mentioned imposed happiness. She looked over at Domarus and Keres as they walked down the path. "What about you Domarus?"

    @Domarus

  22. "Oh, you've done this quest before? I was hoping to pick on that we both hadnt done so that we could both get the quest skill points." She looked over at the woman who was dressed in a maids outfit and smiled. She was quite cute, although if she had been wearing something other than the maids outfit Ivory would have likely described her as beautiful instead. She waved at the woman. "It's nice to meet you too Keres! Your outift is really cute!" She exclaimed, resisting the urge to clap her hands together. She was an adult after all, or at least legally so. "I definitely understand. Some people find happiness serving others, while others find happiness being served. Its completely natural." Ivory led the way to the blacksmith before walking inside and accepting the quest. The NPC was really quite bland with his explanation of what she was supposed to do for the quest, and she had to resist spacing out or falling asleep completely. She exited the shop and smiled to Domarus, with absolutely no clue as to what they were going to do besides fighting a boss, and sshe had only gotten that from what Domarus had said earlier. "You dont need to feel obligated to tell me, but that's your choice." She replied.

  23. Ivory wandered about on the third floor, her eyes wide once more as she took in all of the items being sold by various vendors. Of course, she was in need of pretty much anything, but as usual she couldnt afford any of it. She really needed to exercise self control and stop buying fish. She couldnt help it, fish were just so tasty! She finally approached the area where she was to meet Domarus and spotted him almost immediately. With a grin she walked up to him and gave him a little wave. She probably should have taken some time and grabbed some armor or a weapon, but she trusted Domarus completely to keep her safe. It didnt even occur to her that the man might not trust her to the same extent that she trusted him. "Lets level up together Dom!" She said excitedly, wishing for a moment that she had some sort of weapon to brandish in order to back up her words.

  24. Ivory meandered around on the eighth floors settlement, her eyes wide. Everything was so new, and so beautiful. She felt like it was Christmas morning. In a way, she had kind of recieved the same present as her parents usually got her, which was an assortment of plants and herbs. This jungle floor was full of them. Sadly the materials in this game were very simple and the crafting just as simplistic, but the idea of new wildlife for her to discover and create new things with was very exciting. Just as she was having this thought, she heard a grwling coming from behind her and turned around to see a cute little lioness. She just wanted to pick it up and hug it. One of her cat ears twitched a little with excitement, but she managed to restrain herself from charging the little thing and petting it. Instead she did what she deemed to be the socially polite thing and ran up to the woman who was walking behind the lioness. "Excuse me ma'am, but can I pet your lion? She's just so adorable but wild at the same time!" She said, just making a guess as to the animals gender.
