  1. Sighing, he got up on his feet again, and turned to Domarus. Aereth knew that this man was talking the truth, and that he didn't know more details about the LC or a possible cooperation. But he would search for links between the two guilds at a later date.

    Turning to Domarus he said. "You are right. We need to get going. After all, we don't know for how long those two f*ckers will stay knocked out. And right now is the best time to get them out of town, since it is a little past three in the morning. Few players will be out at this time." He turned his head to the bartender and said. "You really shouldn't try running away. I'm much much faster than you, and also a scout. So even IF you manage to get away from me, I'll definitely find you in no time."

    Domarus explained the plan once again. Aereth nodded and equipped his Sword, scarf, gloves and coat. He then unsheathed his sword, and with a swift motion cut the rope that restricted the bartender.

    Then he positioned his blade between the eyes of the bartender for a last question. "One last question. How many innocent players did you use to test their f*cking potions on? And what did happen to them afterwards?"

    @Domarus

  2. Keres seemed to be very happy that she was also able to get a familiar today. As the snake snake rubbed it's head against her cheek, Aereth smiled. It really seemed that this crazy girl liked the sensation of pain. Aereth's thoughts got interrupted by Keres seductive voice. He turned to face her again and chuckled. "Of course." he then made eye contact with her. "But be careful with your new familiar. It might burn you." Dispite her love for pain, Aereth really enjoyed Keres' company and the conversations the two of them were having from time to time. It was somekind of refreshing.

    As Domarus turned to Aereth and again suggested to head back Aereth simply nodded, and also sheathed his sword on his back. He also told Aereth to call him when he was ready to get a familiar on his own. He smiled at Domarus and answered. "Thanks for offering your assistance. I'll gladly take it when the time has come for me to search a familiar for myself."

    @Domarus

  3. Aereth shrugged as Keres bowed to him and called him master. He wasn't her master after all, but he decided not to bother for now.

    The bartender however seemed to get more terrified with every second of interrogation. After Domarus received the coordinates of said alchemist shop, he turned to Aereth and told him that he was done with him for now, and how they would get rid of the two hooded players. He looked at the potion that Domarus was holding and shook his head. It disgusted him, that inside of this f*cking deathgame something like those mental potions even existed. Then Aereth nodded and crouched to the level of the bartender. He looked him directly into his eyes, and asked the one question that was lingering in the back of his head for some time now. "What do you know about a guild called the Laughing Coffin? And do they have something to do with this Black Adder guild you mentioned before? And I dare you! If you lie to me now, you won't be a red player for long." He said to him while radiating a huge amount of killer intent. With the amount of hate he had stored inside of him this was no big problem. He just had to let the hate out and convert it into killer intent.

    @Domarus

  4. Soon he was able to find four low leveled boars, so he decided to kill them with an AoE sword art, in order to get some materials from them. He unsheathed his Sword of Legion and rested it on his shoulder to activate the his sword art. As the blade began to shine in a dark tone of blue, he charged at the group of boars and released it as he was in range. Quickly after he released it the four boars scattered into thousands of little polygons, and four f'cking materials got transfered into his inventory. Sheathing his blade again, he continued his walk deeper into the forest where the boars spawned. Maybe he could find more of them to kill and get their materials.

    He was really glad that Birdie made him the accuracy ring he wore right now. Somehow it made hitting the mobs so much easier.

  5. Aereth exited the town and started his search for materials. This task shouldn't be too hard for him, since he was trained to be a scout, and just got his first level of the search and detect skill. Aereth was thinking about the design of armor he would be crafting for himself, as well as some special hand wraps, to increase his unarmed combat damage for the quest where he would have to punch a damned rock in order to get the <<Materials Arts>> skill. And he needed the skill to push his damage output in the future, as well as to master his strongest sword art in the future. Because where would be the sense in being able to find your enemies with no problems, but then you struggle when you need to beat or kill them. It's kill or be killed, if he really wanted to walk this way. Shaking his head he continued his search.

  6. Aereth just visited the tailor master NPC, and started his quest to become a master tailor. He had been thinking very long about his future professions and what he really wanted to do for a living. He decided to become a tailor for multiple reasons. First, to be able to walk the way he chose to walk, he would need a full-body armor to cover his identity, and second, right now there seemed to be very few tailors in Aincrad, what would mean that he would be able to earn a lot of money if he would be able to craft good items.

    The NPC told him that he would need to gather many materials before he would show him his tricks and skills that would be needed to craft clothing, leather armor and other things. So Aereth made his way out of the <<Town of Beginnings>> through the northern gate.

  7. Keres made her way over to a pile of rocks, and began to slowly pick them um one at a time. Aereth noticed another material, and quickly picked it up. After some time a snake emerged from the pile, and snatched the food like material from the maids hand. Aereth chuckled. Then however, the snake started to bite Keres again and again. Aereth immediately stepped forward to help her but was stopped by Domarus.

    Then he noticed something again. It looked like she was enjoying it to see and feel her health points dropping. "That girl really gets creepier, the more you get to know her... But hey, if she likes it...." he thought and watched her and the snake until the snake finally decided to accept her as a tamer and started to slither up her body. It twisted itself around her in a lustful way and licked her cheek. Aereth tossed her a health potion, and chuckled. "Snake leather fits you really good, darling."

  8. Aereth chuckled at the insult of the hooded figure. He still was failing to see who the real fool of them was. The player then turned again to face the bartender, and put him even more under pressure. It was then when something inside of Domarus snapped. He screamed at the bartender and hit the one player that was constantly talking so hard that he and his partner got thrown into the wall on the other side. They even were unconscious... "Wow, didn't know that you could render somebody unconscious with a punch in here...." He made eye contact with Keres, and gestured in the direction of the two unconscious players. "Would you please be so kind, to tie them up again?"

    The bartender broke, and told them anything Domarus asked him. As he backed off from the bartender Aereth put a comforting hand on Domarus' shoulder and said. "Is there anything else you want to tell us? You saw what happened to the two." Again gesturing at the two k.oed players. "And belief me, you don't want to get knocked out, because who knows where you would wake up again..."

    @Domarus

  9. As Aereth talked to Domarus, the dragon's head snapped it's attention to him and it seemed that he was analyzing him. After that the dragon gave a short and rough nod. Aereth assumed that he now was approved by the dragon and chuckled at Domarus' grin.

    "Yeah, man. I could also use some more materials. You can never have enough materials after all." Aereth thought while thinking about getting a familiar sooner than he had planned. They might also be useful in non-combat situations.

    Keres found another material and then something was moving in the near distance. Aereth instantly pulled his Sword of Legion and readied himself for a possible battle. She then asked Domarus if she could check on something to which Domarus nodded followed by a look to Aereth. He also nodded, and the three of them began to move in the direction, where the movement was coming from.

  10. The three figures seemed to be unaffected by Aereth's threats about cutting of some body parts, but when he mentioned that he would even kill them, the bartender flinched. "Bingo!" he thought. Now he was inside of the bartenders head. So they had found their target for the interrogations. With a group of people the procedure as always the same. Find the weakest one and break him.

    Then however one of the hodded players said something in a foreign language or a coded phrase. "Tri obviously means three but the first part... I don't know how where to put it...." As Domarus told him to speak English, the hooded player repeated the two words. Aereth was pleased that the hooded player took over Aereth's part in breaking the bartenders mind. Tears started to run down the face of the man and he spit out something spherical. Aereth assumed that this had to be some kind of suicide crystal or something. But he wasn't sure if something like this even existed in this game. As Domarus picked it up and examined it, his features turned dark. With a voice of pure anger and hatred he asked the bartender where he got this from. He was a little bit surprised by Domaru's sudden outburst of hatred, but he was sure that Domarus would explain himself in time.

    The hooded player then started to curse. Aereth decided to silence him with a kick to his face. "Silence, or you will be the first to loose some body parts!" he told him.

    Then turning to the bartender he said in a cold voice while emitting some killer intent. "You better tell him what he wants to know my friend, or I might be able to fulfill my promise from before earlier than expected."

    @Domarus

  11. As Domarus finished the shady bartender, Aereth also had the two hooded players tied up against two chairs and pulled each of them to the same place where the bartender was tied up by Keres and Domarus. The weren't complete beginners, as shown by their starter armor and weapons, but they also weren't very high leveled either. All in all, Aereth had no problem whatsoever, in beating up, and restricting their movements.

    Domarus locked the door, and as he walked back to the players, the bartender told him that he won't talk about anything. Domarus simply told him, that he would try out the potion he wanted to use on Domarus and Aereth, to which he reacted really nervous. Aereth chuckled and added. "Yes, I think that is a great idea. And if this doesn't work, we can still pull them out of the safe zone and have some fun with them... Even if we don't kill them, we could still cut of some fingers, limbs or.... Other things... Hell, I wouldn't even mind to turn red, to erase scum like you from Aincrad." He told them in a voice of indifference. He knew that Domarus figured out that he wasn't serious about killing them, but the other three players did not. Right now he was starting to break them mentally, so that the information would be easier to extract from them.

    @Domarus

  12. After Aereth's answer Domarus simply nodded and proceeded with the standard procedures when getting a familiar. Being happy that you got one, naming the beast and preparing to go home. Aereth chuckled.  "I have to say that dragon really fits your style. And yeah, I'm fine with going back home my friend. I've got enough from this floor for now." Today he was able to get some information about the floor, what kind of materials could be gathered on the floor and also a good amount of said materials. As soon as he gets back to Itzal's shop he would note all the good information he got today about floor nine.

    "So you two got something else to do for the rest of the day?" he asked as the three of them were walking back to the town with the teleport gate. On the way he found another ruby ore and stored it away into his inventory.

  13. Jonathan seemed to be deep in thoughts while Aereth was doing his best to keep the mobs occupied. "He has to get back into combat." he thought and sprinted towards the Skeleton warrior. While dodging a swipe form the skeleton he charged once again his <<Star Quint Prominence>> sword art and released it on the chest of the monster. This time the head and one arm got separated from the body of the warrior. Out of the corner of his eye, Aereth could see how the Skeleton Bandit attempted to attack Jonathan while he was thinking. "That's not good!" he thought and began to run towards the Bandit. "Jonathan watch out!" he yelled as loud as he could. As the Bandit was about to swing at his blonde friend, Aereth reached it and managed to create some distance by kicking the Bandit away from Jonathan.

  14. Domarus chuckled at Aereth as he told him that he thought that he could hold his own. As Keres giggled and asked Aereth how much more he could handle, he joined Domarus in his chuckling and answered. "Oh don't overestimate my drinking capabilities. The first effects of the drinks were starting to take effect on me some time ago, so I don't have a problem with taking a 'break'."

    Aereth also noticed the shaky hands of the bartender as well as that the two players in the corner seemed to finally want to make a move. Again locking eyes with Domarus, he started to grin. His eyes and grin said clearly 'Leave it to me buddy'

    With that, Aereth slowly stood up and staggered into the direction of the two players. He could swear that he saw grins flashing out of their hoods as they saw him staggering into their direction. The seemed to be pleased, that they seemingly found three easy, and drunken victims for their scheming. That was a mistake. Like Aereth told Domarus beforehand, he had already scanned all possible escape routes for a situation like this, but Aereth thought that they wouldn't need them tonight. As he finally reached the two hooded figures, he cracked a smile and said. "Goooood evening, gentleman.... or woman? Oh f*ck it. It doesn't matter. How, can I help you two beauties?" He asked them, acting like a drunken guy. Then one of the two tried to grab Aereth at his collar. Aereth however, immediately countered this action by pushing his hand away, delivering a blow to the face of the guy who wanted to grab him. "Thank god the A.R.E.A. protection still lets you punch people." Both players seemed very surprised by this action from Aereth. Using the oppertunity, Aereth kicked the second guy in the gut and sent him in Domarus' direction, so that he could restrict his movements.
    In the meantime the first hooded player, the one that Aereth punched in the face, got up again and lunged at Aereth. Thankfully, Aereth was able to dodge the incoming hit. Aereth elbowed the player, turned his upper body to face him again, with his other hand grabbed him by his throat and pushed him on the ground, so that he couldn't move any more. Looking at the player under him he said to Domarus. "You wanna do some interrogation talk with them or should we let them go for now?"

    @Domarus

  15. Domarus asked Aereth if he would also let him know about the meeting and it's outcome. He would of course let his superiors know about the fact that Domarus wanted to get the information, but right now he saw no harm in telling him this information, since it would only help with the clearing of the game if more players learned how boss raids worked. "Yeah, my friend. I'll do my best to get the information about the meeting to you." "And, I'll talk to Hikoru about his initiation." Because if he got initiated there would be no problems in sharing information with him.

    He then asked why he wanted to go with a spear or a dagger, and explained his exact way of building his character. "I like the style of the spear and and the mechanics of the dagger. Damage, combos, Sword arts etc. But I also heard about the update, and before I 'm going to do anything I am also waiting until the update is finally out."

    After that they heard a screech and the two familiar finally decided to engage Domarus. Aereth leaned on a nearby wall and watched out for any other monsters in order to be able to protect Keres if anything happened. After the short intermezzo, Domarus was able to get the dragon as his familiar and Aereth grinned. "Well done, my friend. Seems like you completed another important step in order to reach your goals."

  16. As Domarus told Aereth that he could dance. He also knew pretty much everything which was danced at proms, since he learned it there. But even though Aereth had drunken quite a lot tonight, he was still able to notice that the last part of Domarus sentence was a lie. He didn't understand why he was still lying to him, but decided to ignore it. "That's quite something if you know pretty much all the stuff that is danced at proms." It really was nowadays. Almost none of the younger people wanted to learn how to dance nowadays. They just wanted to get drunk really fat. Pathetic...

    Then he ordered a new bottle of whiskey and asked Aereth what dances he was able to do. As the bartender left to get the new bottle Keres refilled her chocolate milk herself and gave Aereth a wink. Which brought a grin on Aereth's face. Chuckling he answered. "So far I'm able to do all ballroom dances and all latin dances. But competitive-wise my girlfriend and I only did the latin ones. So if you want, I could show you some things, Keres."  The bartender returned and put the new bottle in front of the two men. But Aereth also noticed the hesitation in the bartenders actions. He looked in Domarus eyes as he refilled the glasses and opted to take another drink, and as he was just about to take a sip, his eyes told him 'don't drink' this sh*t. Aereth returned the grin, and was eager to know how Domarus would handle this situation, because Aereth didn't even touch his new drink yet, since he was talking to Domarus while all this happened.

    Aereth chuckled again as Domarus played that he was feeling the first effect of the alcohol. "This does not surprise me, my friend. You were drinking the whiskey like water. And we have plenty of time left."

    @Domarus

  17. Domarus told Aereth some things he didn't know up until now. First: that everybody was welcome to boss raids, as long as they didn't do anything stupid, and second: that there were two players on the frontlines which are avoided by other players... This made Aereth think. What would the two of them have done to get avoided by others players. He wanted to get more information about the two... "Really, that's nice to hear. So when the time comes we will be able to see each other at the frontlines. And I've heard about the meeting, I guess the higher ups from the Celestial Ascendants are taking part. So I think I'll ask them later for some information about the meeting, because wanna know what strategies would be used." Aereth was eager to know how these meetings would be, and what exactly would be discussed. Formations, attack orders, strategies... He wanted to know it all. Because maybe at some point he would also be able to come up with some viable strategies for clearing the floors.

    Then Domarus wanted to know what form of combat Aereth wanted to take later on. "I want to stay with my one handed straight sword. As you know, I don't primarily go for damage. My build right now depends heavily on my high speed. And this won't change in the future. This is the reason I will stay with my one handed sword. To push my damage output later, I'll get my hands the <<Material Arts>> skill. First, I need it for my strongest sword art, and I like the thought of fighting without weapons, because then I would be able to un equip my weapon to increase my speed even further. But if I choose to change, I'll go for a spear or dagger... And you? I guess you also will stay with your two handed battle ax?"

  18. Aereth managed to hear that Jonathan would an AoE attack to finish off the bandit as well as to damage the warrior at the same time. Right now Aereth was doing his best to keep the warrior occupied, but unfortunately the warrior started to get to upper hand in the battle of the two. Soon Aereth found himself in a situation where he was only dodging, and retreating. Then an idea came to him. With his highest speed he started to run circles around the warrior, which hit the NPC seemingly by surprise. "I at least have to get in inside of Jonathan's attack range..." he thought while still running around the warrior. Then as he noticed a slight opening, he charged at the warrior and sent him crashing against the skeleton bandit with a spinning kick. He wasn't able to do any damage, but at least it was possible for him to create an opportunity for Jonathan's AoE attack.

  19. "Thanks my friend." With that all three of them took another drink. Suddenly Keres giggled. "This most certainly will mean nothing good..." he thought as he also refilled his glass, and also rose an eyebrow. She then said to Domarus that she would tell him later about it, which confirmed that it for sure was something about Aereth.

    Then Domarus asked him, how he was intending to get Col. There were three possibilities to earn money inside of Aincrad. First: mob grinding, second: with a shop and third: doing both. And Aereth was about to do both. He wanted to slay mobs, and get a well payed profession. "To be honest, I intend to open a tailor shop in the future. Although, I want to wait until the 3.0 update will be rolled out until I chose a profession." At the last part of Domarus' question Aereth had to chuckle. "Maybe I could do that as a kind of additional income. Do you intend to learn to dance my friend?"

    @Domarus

  20. After Aereth's greeting, Birdie disappeared behind her counter and after a few minutes she handed Aereth his new accuracy ring. It was a beautiful ring made out of ruby and gold. He looked at it in awe for a few moments before he claimed the ownership of his new ring. <<Dexterous Intent>> showed the window in his inventory as he equipped it. "That's some great craftsmanship. I love the ring already. And it may save my a** at some point of the future. So again, thank you a whole lot, I'm glad that you were able to make it in such a short time. And make sure to visit my tailor shop as soon as I'm opening it. It would be an honor for me to make something for you if you need something in the future." It really was for him, but unfortunately he hadn't taken the quest for his profession yet. Itzal told him to wait until the 3.0 update was rolled out, because it may bring some changes to the profession system. "I'll send you a message when I'm opening it." He said to her with a smile and left in the direction of the door. "Thanks again and have a nice day." And with that he was gone.

  21. As Domarus asked Aereth where he intended to look for his wolf he just shrugged his shoulders and answered. "I really don't know. I thought maybe on the fourth floor. But I guess I'll have to scout the floors beforehand to get an overview over all the species that are spawning on each floor. And after that I'll decide." Then Keres began to grin in a manner, that told Aereth that she might be up to something in the future. "I think I don't even wanna know what that girl is thinking right now..."

    Domarus asked him if he also wanted to join the frontlines when he was strong enough, because Domarus would most definitely for his own reasons. It seemed like Domarus saw the frontlines just as a kind of protection from harm. "Is he really thinking that this would be a good idea? Cause joining the frontlines is definitely not less dangerous than to have an assassin on your a*s..." Aereth thought, but dismissed his thoughts again.  "Yeah, I'm also planning on doing this at some point of time, but it will all depend on how other people will see me when I reached the level of strength and skill needed for the frontlines. But if they don't want me to join them, because of my build or the things I'm doing, it can't be changed." This would mean that he wouldn't be able to help actively to clear the game, but at this point of time he had chosen to work in the darkness. But even when he wouldn't be able to help in the light, he would still do his best to make the lives of the lower leveled players better, by keeping them safe.

    Sparks were flying as the Tank Paladin and the Skeleton Warrior were trading blows. Aereth used the opertunity to sneak around the battlefield to get behind the Skeleton Bandit. As he was about to attack, the skeleton turned to his direction and started attacking the dark brown haired man. Aereth did his best do dodge every hit the Skeleton was throwing at his. Thanks to his high agility and speed he was able to get out of the combat unharmed, and before he retreated he delivered a spinning kick to the skeleton to create some distance between Jonathan, him and the other skeleton. At the same time Jonathan was also able to push the warrior a little bit away from him. Jonathan told Aereth that he would finish off the Bandit and that Aereth should go for the Warrior instead. Nodding he answered his tank friend. "Roger. I'll do my best to keep him busy while you finish the Bandit off."

  23. The skeleton picked it's head up again and reattached it right where Aereth had cut it off. Aereth had do laugh at Jonathans comment. "I had the same feeling but now we know for sure my friend. Haha." Somehow severing the head of the skeleton lightened Aereth's mood a whole lot.

    Jonathan now also landed a solid hit on the Skeleton Bandit and told Aereth to watch out for his energy, since he would run out of it very soon. He knew this very well and was scrolling through his sword art list in his mind in order to find the best combination to use his remaining energy points. After some moments he had a plan and was running towards the skeleton bandit, again charging his Star Quint Prominence sword art, and as he reached the monster he released the sword art once again while leaving star shaped damage maker on the back of the bandit.

    As he retreated back to Jonathans side he said. "I know that I'm running out of energy, but I have a plan. In order for my plan to work however, you have to hit your next attack. A crit would be preferred." He said the last part with a chuckle. It was true. If Jonathan would be able to crit he would either kill the mob or leave it at minimal health, which in return would mean that Aereth could finish it either with a simple blow or with a low cost AoE sword art which would deal damage to both skeletons. If he would kill the skeleton he could also do his maximum amount of damage to the second skeleton. But he wasn't pushing anything. He would wait and see how the situation would turn out, and after that he would act.

  24. Keres answered Aereth that she indeed had spend her initial points into the Search and Detect skill, but also that she wouldn't be getting any more experience, because she just wanted to be there for Domarus. Another thing that Aereth didn't understand. Why was she staying on level one, if she could be a much greater help for Domarus if she would level up a bit. But really? He did not care. People make their own decisions, have to live with the consequences, and if they are fine with it there would be no problems.

     After Aereth finished talking about his training plan Keres seemed eager to say something but was held back by Domarus, as he put his hand on her back and told him not to push too hard, in order to stay alive. "Have no fear, I know exactly how much I'm able to do without harming myself. That's the reason why we have worked on a training plan in the first place. So if I stick to the plan nothing will happen to me." Right now he wasn't even referring to the plan he worked out with Itzal and Birdie, no, he was referring to the tweaked version of the schedule. Aereth had put some extra workouts into the plan, in order to catch up with Birdie and to get overall stronger. But he was far away from his personal limit. He had been through harder times. And he also didn't want to kill himself, a fact that the two of them seemingly failed to notice. A dead man cannot archive his goals after all....

  25. "Haha, I guess we will." He had to chuckle at her answer. But it somehow seemed that she was somehow thinking over something. But Aereth also decided to not care about it for now.

    Then she and Domarus tried their hardest in convincing Aereth to get a maid as soon as possible, when they pointed out all the advantages of having a personal maid. But they could try all day to convince him, he would always reject the offer. "I understand where you are coming from, I really do, but I can't bring myself to think the same way as you two do. Right now I couldn't even properly protect her. And don't understand me wrong, I haven't been a loner in the real world, but in here things change. And if somebody has the same goal as I have, I'll gladly let him join my cause and even teach him my ways, but as I said, right now I'm just too weak for something like this. Also don't worry, my training plan is well thought out with enough breaks to regain my energy. As much as I understand your reasoning, you also have to understand mine." he told them as they continued their search for Domarus' familiar. He also wasn't quite sure if they really cared about his mental and physical stat or if they just wanted to get any kind of spy on his tracks.
