That was it. She could not go out into the desert in the conditions she was in. She had to stop somewhere and get a drink or something before she could start. The heat would affect her decision making, and that is what needed to be at her sharpest. Even with her cloak always covering her face, it was hot and dry. She stepped into a nearby bar, and found herself a seat. As the man came over and requested to know what she wanted she thought for a second. "Water. Water would be great" The man hurried away and she eyed around the room. Only a few players were in the room. Two men spoke quietly in the corner, looking of serious business. Another sat at another seat and he work a strange looking mask that gave her the creeps. Hopefully THAT man would not come around, sniffing in her business. That mask made all of her alarms wail. The waiter brought her the requested water and she sipped it quietly, the water was refreshing and relaxing. 'What did they put in this? It is great!'

As she walked forward, she heard quick footsteps behind her. The white-haired man grabbed her hand and she felt her face warm as he did. It was just strange. She had went years without human contact and then she found this dork... Almost instantly she had fallen for him. they began to move in, walking through the Forest of Wavering Mists on thier path. "This is our moment before the dragon. Why not enjoy the sights in the process as well, love? Look at all the forest around here." She looked around the area. It really was beautiful. She was glad to be spending this second with him. "It is astonishing. Say, isn't this the floor you found that area on? I think you still owe me a date sometime soon. We need to take a break from all this questing and just enjoy ourselves." She smiled at the thought and she watched as the man's face became concerned as he looked in one direction. "What? What is the matter?" She let go of his hand and one went to her dagger as she turned to face the direction he was looking, scanning for what concerned the man.

Hidden watched as Domarus's mind seemed to work furiously over the idea of her having such a dagger. He asked her id she was a merchant, or if she found one. She laughed darkly and answered "I complete my own work. I don't need side characters in my story. Just the main ones" She laughed and observed the cave they approached. Domarus gave his words of "Encouragement" before they moved in. He brought out his axe and stood there in the face of the best. The beast gave out a fearsome and deafening roar, defying the players that stood before it. Domarus appeared unimpressed as he stood in front of it, hefting his axe. The beast slashed Domarus with a slow blow that Hidden could have dodged, but Domarus withstood it. The creature appeared surprised as if to ask Why player not break? Domarus's voice challenged the creature and he made a series of blows the creatures body, bringing it straight into the red zone. She grimaced at Domarus's power.
"Alright then, leave the rest to me" She unsheathed her weapon and watched as it gave an orange gleam. Smirking at her weapon she faced the creature. Darting forward, her blade's glow began to become brighter. The creature slammed its paw one way, but she ad already moved to the next, moving in a blur. She leapt up quickly thrusting her weapon three times into the creature's body. With her last one, the creature gave way and burst into pixels. She sheathed her weapon with a smile. "That was far too easy"

Hidden sighed as she stood on the fifth floor. She had heard that this floor was a desert and was hot, but she had believed that it would be much better than freezing on the fourth floor. Boy was she wrong. The fourth floor was col and she hated every second of it. The fifth floor was just as bad, with its extreme heats and dryness. Occasionally there was a breeze of death that would cause her to choke on sand, and become pelted by millions of grains. She was just here for a single quest. She heard there was a few more on this floor, but she was just completing the one at the moment. This one was the one required if she was going to go into the harsher conditions further on in the floors. She was alone once again for this journey, her not wishing too bug Sey with her little quests and expeditions. She really had no other friends, and she would only call upon Domarus if she ACTUALLY needed help with the quest. This time it was just her, and she would have to move on alone. The monsters here would deal quite a bit of damage to her, but they would have trouble catching or hitting her.

Hidden watched as the man grinned, that troublemaker smile she had come to find endearing. The wolf barked twice in a merry tone, making Umbra jump a bit. 'It is going to take Umbra a while to warm up to his familiar.' Sey introduced the wolf as Kyu. A name she wondered what the purpose was. She nudged the man with her enclosed hist and began to trot off towards the exit gate, getting the party moving. "So what is new with you? Have you gone out and done some fun things with Umbra yet?" Hidden thought for a moment before answering, "I have not really done anything too interesting yet with her. I have been trying to get her leveled up" The man turned away, seeming a bit sorry that they needed to get to work. "Well come on then silly, the quest is this way." She looked over to her familiar which skirted around Kyu and began to move forward. She hoped she would able to assist this time at least. With her luck, the dragon would have much to high of mitigation for her too help much.
-
She walked on the trail forward and as she spoke of using her dagger, Domarus was himself. What enhancements does it have.... She should have known Domarus would ask her that. "Well, originally I was not going to tell you... but you are a well-respected friend." She took a deep breath before answering, "It is a rare dagger with Phase and Paralytic Venom. I figured now a slot of bleed would help" She turned and heard Keres's opinion over the Survival skill. The woman then asked her what kind of familiar she was going to get. "I realy have no idea what kind of familiar I am going to get at this moment in time" She nodded and turned away walking forward. After enough time passed, Domarus spoke again. Hidden paused her step and turned toward him. He told her that he should make the first move and gain the hate. She nodded and answered his questions. "You make the first move then. Go as hard as you physically can, I will tail in the second hit and you finish it with your third" She turned and readied her dagger. This would be one of the last time she would use it. She would use it as well as she could.

It was a few days after they had done their last quest, and Hidden and Sey were ready to continue. She had prepared her stuff in her room of her shop. Her sleeping roll lied on the floor in the corner and a few things were lining the room. She stood at the door, ready to leave. "Come on Umbra, we gotta go now" The familiar stared at her for a few seconds as if it were thinking, 'Go outside? Are you crazy?' Its eyes flashed a purple color and it bounded after her. As it walked through the darker area, its form shifted around leaving trails of shadows behind it. They moved through the room and out of the shop. She and the familiar walked into the daylight. She looked around and looked back to her familiar. It was no one solid shape. It was black with dark eyes and seemed observant and cautious of almost everything it seen.
As they finally made it to the third floor, she smiled at the sight of Sey. Next to him was a wolf, white as Sey's hair. Or the snow if you preferred. 'I am taking a hint that that is Sey's familiar. I thought I was supposed to help him get one, but I am glad for him.' She walked forward with a smile. "Hello Casper, how are you?" Umbra paid the white-haired man little attention. She knew him, but the wolf was new for her. She eyed it carefully, keeping a cautious distance away form it.
-
Hidden grudgingly followed the man and stopped to look at his boat. It was smaller, capable of Pete and her, with room for one more person. "Well C'mon Lassy, we don't have all day!" She roled her eyes and stepped in. Instantly, her nose was taken over by foreign smells, half of what she did not want to know about. He rowed out and began to speak with her. "It is a BEAUTIFUL day for fishing! Perhaps we might even catch a big one!" He laughed and took a swig of something that looked like red kool-aid. She liked to think it was kool-aid. "The last time I took someone else out, we caught a HUGE one. It was at least half the size of a car! That player diced up that fish quickly and we headed home. And this other time..." Hidden rested her head in her hand. She could already tell this was going to be a LONG boat ride before they headed back to shore. With her luck, they would never catch anything for hours. This man would have her out here forever, telling her stories of fantasy fish.
-
Hidden walked forward and seen the man she was looking for. He was sweaty with work as he appeared to be hauling some crates. She walked forward to him and he set down the crates with the rest and gave her a hard look. He appeared to be sizing her up. "What ye be needin, Lassy?" She flinched from his accent and slowly replied, "I brought... I brought you a pole" His eyebrows unfurrowed and his face caught a smile. "Ah, from Hannah? I love the lass. She helps me when I need it!" Hidden handed him the pole and he ran it through with his fingers. "Oh that is nice. Carbon. Would ye' be likin' to test out with me? I need a strappin' young player like ye'self to help me!" He waved his hand in a 'come on' motion and began moving to his boat with a whistle.
-
Hidden came in a few days after. Her luck was bad and she mostly had been trying to increase her level. She was gaining SP fast to get her familiar's level to max. Once she got it to level two, she would use her second dagger. Quests would become quite easy for her then. Once she to herself to Tier two, it would be easy as well. She grabbed herself a piece of heavy armor and appraised it. The first few times were retries until finally she received Heavy momentum on it. She smiled and tried again. Fail. She threw out the piece of equipment, and grabbed another item. Locked. Great. This was not her lucky day. She needed to get a Fire place room and a Cauldron. That would be a huge help with her crafting. Get her things to +4 rank and she would never have locks again.

Hidden watched as Domarus came closer, accepting to help her. She looked over at the distant cold and snow. "I deeply appreciate the help. I am improving greatly in such short time. After this, my dagger will finally be of perfect quality and I then just need to head over to receive my own familiar" She unsheathed "Shadow's Bite" and examined it. This dagger was the first weapon she had ever used and she was proud of it. Soon, it would not be powerful enough to escort her through the game. She watched as the snake slithered from Keres onto the ground in front of her, melting the snow around it. Keres offered for the snake to help keep her warm but Hidden shook her head. "One way that people make themselves stronger, is to endure. I have not received the survival skill yet, so I must endure and learn to go on without it" She looked down on the creature, a bit sorry for disappointing it. She turned as Domarus began reviewing the bosses stats, what he recalled from his last encounter with it. "If it has no mitigation, perhaps I might be of assistance there. I can keep it damaged, as long as you go on and ensure that you keep the main focus on yourself."
-
Hidden looked over at Sey as he arrived. At first, he had not seen it as she had not as well. He turned over to her and told her that it was time to name it. She thought for a second, moving to latin words. She knew a bit of latin words thanks to English class. Now that was confusing. "Umbra... That is her name. Now, I can tell you are not too much of a fan of this floor, let us move on out of here. Perhaps we should go and complete some quest to help gain some SP for us to be able to master the familiar skills. That way, when you receive one you can have it at full power already." She found his hand and interlaced it with her fingers. She knew this floor well enoough to know the way back, even in the darkness.
Then came the small voice in the back of her head again. 'you have your familiar now, and now you head over to make yourself as strong as possible. What is your goal with this? What are you going to do with your power? Take revenge on the world, or help move on the world?' She shook the voice out of her head and began to head back out.

As she asked what it was something amazing happened next. The creature began to glow, illuminating the area. It was a fox, as black as night and it appeared to be glowing. How though? Then it bounded forward, and as it moved its image shimmered leaving a trail of shadow with it. It stopped and its image shifted back to normal. "It is as if it is a shadow of some kind. I did not know they made creatures like this though. It can't be permanent, perhaps it is just a darkness thing' The creature dimmed back down to complete darkness and nuzzled into her. 'I have tamed it apparently' ""Yeah, I am fine Sey. I'm over here, and I got the familiar. It was a bit different then I was originally expecting" She moved toward the direction of his voice to meet up with the man. He had helped her get it, so she needed to help him out or something. She was still looking for the fallen item, but yet no luck was coming from her shop. She needed to get back to it tonight though. She had been a bit rather lazy lately.

She walked forward silently, eyeing the river closely for monsters. Decayed monsters would occasionally live around or wade out of the river and come and attack players. She jumped when Sey brought out his spear and told her to wait. He had caught trail of something, but it was hard to make out as the darkness concealed it. She nodded to Sey and replied, "Im going in, If I need you I will call" She moved forward, careful as to not startle a creature. She activated her <Search and Detect> skill. It was hard to see, but with very careful listening she was able to locate the creature. She brought out the food in hand, a cookie looking item she had received at the start of the quest. She held it out and waited silently. The creature in front of her paused. Even though she should have been able to see it, but she could not make out its image. The creature took the cookie from her hand, and seemed pretty content with it. "What are you though, I can't make out your image."

As he mentioned orange players and help, she nodded. Orange players were either really good at one of two things. Soloing, and they were alone usually under the cover of darkness all the time, or Groups, they traveled around in a group of usually about three and hunted that way. The group were more likely to attack, but you had to watch for the solos all the same. She looked to the side and noticed that they were now on the shores of the Stygian river. Occasionally it gleamed bright. Today, it had a dark evil color to it. She turned away and decided not to think about the river too much. The bright mushroom forest was not too far ahead, about three quarters of a mile. In the close distance, you could see its bright shine, illuminating the area surrounding. Then, she realized Sey was talking. All he got out of it was did he know of our relationship? She stood there for a second, trying to remember where they were. “Does he know of our relationship? No, he has no idea. As far as I know, you and I are the only ones who know for sure we are a couple at the moment. I just told him that I am as protected by the CA as him, and if he touched me a Sentinel and maybe even a paladin would not be the happiest with him” She smiled, quite pleased with herself.
-
She moved back into her shop, ready to do some more appraising. It was still boring, but perhaps today would be the day she would get that item for Sey. She grabbed the light armor form the previous day and appraised it. Success, More recovery. She tried again, but that was all the item had on it. She threw the item onto the shelf and began to grab another item. A Shield. The first few times were retrie, but eventually she got lucky enough to make the cut for a paralyze. There was still room for more as well. One failure, and the rest were nice. It was not an extraordianry day of crafting, but it was not that bad either. She turned around and put the shield on the shelf to test again tommorow and then began to head back through the door, back into her room to lay down.

The scuffle appeared to be dying down if only a bit;. The brunet, Aereth, now seemed to be trying to partake their quest with them. After he told her to care more about her partners in expeditions. Part of her wanted to argue that she did not take along partners often, and that the man wanted to tag along. She was really not inclined to protect him. He moved on, speaking about he got his cursor, but at this point she really was not interested. If he was going to kill her, he would have done it as was getting ready for battle. Murderers enjoyed battle and he would have taken it there. She turned, glanced at Aoda through her hood and began forward. As they began to start moving, Aereth followed claiming that he ad seen her before. "It is quite possible. I have made business with a tailor" She looked away. 'A very expensive tailor that is' She heard a scuffle oncoming and she shushed the man and darted forward, peering through the trees. "There is our target, but your precense has seemed to alert others to its aid. One of your king was is seen guarding it. Would be great if you could distract it enough for me to get a hit in"

Hidden walked back into her shop. She was bored with her work, but it provided to be a big help. She had not really received any customers, and the one she did have messaged her not to make it for him anymore, and to hold back off on it. Now, her only work was trying to find a fallen item for Sey. It would help him in the long run, so she would do it for him. She bought a few items and began to appraise them. A heavy armor with Thorns and light armor with recovery. Fun. She sighed and turned back around, looking at some items that no one would ever buy form her. She sold each of them, seeling quite a few items in total. Darkness Cover, Punisher, Piercer and Shocking Sword were completely destroyed by the system. She would have to wait to see if the light armor had anything else tommorow.

Hidden sat quietly in wait. It was rather cold here and she was definitely not enjoying it. She looked around and got a good base of where everything was on this new floor. She was really not a big fan of this floor, but it was required if she was going to move along with finishing her dagger. Her dagger would make most jealous, but most had zero idea about it. Even Sey had little idea of its fullest capabilities. She seen something sticking out of the snow and she picked it up. As she bent down to pick it up she heard a shriking sound. she turned to find the noise had come from a familiar. Next to the familiar was the tall reed haired man that she knew. Domarus walked forward and he nodded as she met his gaze. Next to him, Keres bowed and her snake looked up at her with an interesting gaze. 'I still don't understand why she would have a burning familiar. It still does not suit her personality. Unless...' She thought quietly of that but kept it to herself. She waved, permitting Domarus to approach.

They kept moving on forward through the darkness, speaking of recent events. Sey asked her what had happened between her and Aereth. She looked away for a moment, recalling the little scuffle between her and the brunette. "It was not too bad actually. My... acquaintance and I at the time were moving on to complete the bee quest when we heard a battle going on. I moved on like it was nothing but the idiot actually charged in to help the man. Turns out the man was an orange player and my acquaintance almost died from the mob and then could have died from the orange player." She sighed then thought ahead. She was saying more about ehr acquaintance and how stupid he was. "Aereth, or the orange player, handed something to my acquaintance and then charged me! Well, then that is when things went sour. He demanded to know why I was there and for a second it looked like it was going to be a fight. Luckily, my pure instincts found something to easily blackmail him with" She smiled easily. That was the easiest blackmail she had ever given.

She sipped her water silently and watched as one of the waitress NPC's brought the masked man his order. She watched as the man took off his mask to reveal a blond and red-haired man. It was an odd mixture of colors. A few female players that were found a few seats away form her mentioned something about the man. Beatbox the Star of Aincrad over there? She pondered this for a mere second. She guessed the man's name was Beatbox as for the title he had... Star of Aincrad? That had to be the weirdest thing she had ever heard. Alas, the man was quite popular, which she wanted no part of. She took another drink, observing more of the man. He was a green player and... Great. Another Celestial Ascendants member. The sun in the guild area of a players Health bar seemed to just be following her. She seen it almost everyday. She watched as the man replaced on his mask and left the bar, obviously not impressed with the attention he was getting. 'Tell me about it. I hate attention.' She sucked again but looked down at her drink. It was empty .She sighed, payed her dues and left the bar.
"Where to now? That lady never gave a specific point of where I was supposed to go"
