Saphira

Saphira was glad, that Runa was able to find a mushroom soon after they had entered the forest, so they could go back now, right? But Runa continued  searching instead of heading back. Searching she looked around to find another one - Maybe her last mushroom? - hoping, that ther was only one mushroom left Runa had to find Saphira thought a moment about the next place with materials for the quest, bushes close to the town, a less dangerous place for a low level player. With her long legs, Saphira walked soon beside Runa, in case of an attack she would still be able to protect her. The forest looked quite calm, Saphira was able to hear the wind in the tree tops over their heads and some birds, she looked over to Runa to ask her something as she saw tears in Runa's eyes, unsure what she should do now Saphira just looked at the girl - I wonder what made her cry, did something bad happened to her and this situation remembers her at it? I am pretty sure I did nothing wrong... - Saphira still had no clue as Runa found the third mushroom and told her, that they could go now back and look for the berries - Sounds good. - she answered and followed her a few steps as she heared something, short she looked at Runa, to be sure that it wasn't her. It seemed like Runa did heared it too. With quiet and big steps Saphira came closer to Runa, she reached her just a few seconds before some humanoid-looking, red scaled creature jumped out of a close bush. With evil, yellow eyes it looked at them and hissed, then it swung his pickax at Saphira, even if she was to slow to jump out of it's way, she was glad, that it did hit her and not Runa. With a angry glow  in her eyes Saphira looked at the creature and made a step between it and Runa and as her dagger start to glow in a dark blue tone she made a big step forward and slashed it's chest with two powerful hit's. The mod bidn't really had time to react before it exploded into millions of tiny pixels - We should hurry before his friends will find us. - Saphira said with a cold tone in her voice to Runa and showed her the way, still looking around to be prepared for another enemy.

Saphira continued her searching close to the place, where she had found the spotted berries, hoping to find another bush with these berries. Seeking she looked over a tree log which was half in the forest and half on the meadow and close to the other bush. Saphira nearly overlooked the bush with the dark green leaves which covered the black and purple berries. Happy, that she was able to find another one of the bushes she jumped over the log and plucked them as she heared Runas voice. The girl looked up and had to search a moment to find Runa, she told her, that she would head a little bit into the forest, then she asked Saphira if she could protect her if she would get attacked. Saphira nodded - In cause of a creature attacking you I will protect you. - then she changed her scarf with the dragon's eye. With the dagger in her hand and a watchful sight she followed Runa ino the forest, even if she didn't really liked the girl she didn't want her to get hurt.

After the hug had ended the two continued their way up to the mountains. Saphira liked to be close to Hei and she enjoyed the walk, the closeness to Hei and the environment. It was some time ago since she had seen mountains and it was even longer ago, that she had visited them. After some time of walking Hei had found a small creek and kneeled down, Saphira wasn't really sure, what he did there and as she curious came closer Hei turned around and splashed ice cold water at her. A little bit shocked she looked at Hei - Did he really...? - Her shocked expression turned to a serious one - You... - she start to smile and wasn't able to stay longer serious, then she made two big steps to reach the creek, kneeled down too and splashed also some water whit the help of her hand-cup at Hei. With a smile she jumped over the creek, trying to get out of his range. Out of his range, on the other side of the creek Saphira waited for him with a smile  on her face - What do you think about making some sort of question and answer game out of the part that we want to know more about the other one? The one who is up may ask only one question at the same time, the other one gives an answer and asks a new question until we reach the place you want to show me. What do you say? - with a curious shimmer in her eyes she looked at him.

Saphira was still happy about her good hit - Maybe I didn't lost all of my luck for today, but I shouldn't be happy now, there is still the chance, that it will leave me soon again. - she thought while she watched the first meerfolk, as someone jumped between the meerfolk and her. Gryas stood in front of her. He had opened a trade window. Saphira shortly looked at the sword, she didn't knew the enhancements it could have but she knew, that she wasn't able to fight with it more or less. - It's nice of you, that you want to help me but I can't take it, I am a dagger fighter and I cant handle swords like a dagger, even if it may have a good enhancement. - Saphira heared Arabelle who called over to her and Jinx and told them to continue attacking but not killing the first meerfolk, Saphira decided, that her bleed effect would deal enough damage and she was pretty sure, that the shield, Jinx used had thorns so even a weak attack of Saphira could cause, that the fish would die. She looked back at Gryas - I am sorry. - she said once again - But thank you for the offer. - she smiled at him - I will try my best to hit them with my dagger. - After this conversation Saphira looked short over to the place where Hei and Stryder had their fight against something that looked like a toad men, she hoped that Hei was alright.

On the first sight Saphira wasn't able to find some useful materials. Saphira looked at some interesting looking plants as she heared Runas voice, she did sound excited so there wasn't something dangerous. Saphira looked up and saw her glowing eyes, happy the girl told her, that she already had found one of the items - Good job, now there are only four items left I think - Saphira answered her and remembered the time as she had search the items for the quest, she never had seen the guy who had helped her again - I wonder if something bad happened to him, I hope not. - Soon after that her mind got back to the here and now and she continued searching. After some time of looking around in a few small bushes, Saphira found a hand full of small, black-purple spotted berries. Careful she plucked them and put them in her inventory, now that she was in her inventory she changed her plushie with her armour and looked short at Runa before she continued with walking around and searching.

Another day, another craft, hopefully...After Saphira had ate something she begun to work in her shop. She cleaned the floor and the place where the customers could take a seat. After she finished cleaning she walked behind the counter which was her working place and prepared everything for making a salve. She took her apron and her scarf on, if it wouldn't work her scarf would help her to save the item she used. But this time she wasn't as lucky as the day before, her attempt to make another salve was a fail and she wasn't able to save the item.

Saphira wasn't sure, how she should react as Runa start to sing this strange song, after a moment of thinking she smiled at her - Yes, we are a couple, but I am pretty sure we never kissed on a tree before...maybe we should try it someday... - Saphira was sure, that this wasn't the reaction Runa hoped to see, but it was right, they were a couple. As Runa entered the shop, Saphira followed her and listened to everything, she knew the places where they would find the materials for the quest and as Runa asked her, if she knew where they would find the materials, she nodded - I know both places. We will search the mushrooms first. - She said and start to walk. While walking she continued - I will bring you to both places and while you search the materials for the quest I will search materials for myself. If needed I will also protect you from danger. I hope you have something with you, that helps you by searching for the materials, if not it will took some more time. - On their way, Saphira changed her active items to the 'Dawn's Scarf', Mister CrawCraw and her dagger. As they had left the city of beginnings it took them some more time to reach the edge of the forest. As they reached it Saphira turned to Runa - While searching don't go to deep into the forest, I will search close to you some other materials. - With this words Saphira turned again and start to search for some materials for he shop, but she wasn't able to find something at the moment.

After a short breakfast Saphira begun to water the plants in her shop. As she had finished watering the plants, Saphira made a fire in the fireplace behind the counter, took on her apron and start to prepare everything for two new attempts of crafting some salves, at least she hoped, that it would work to craft some new salves. Her first attempt ended in a fail, maybe it was the item she had recycled the day before...the second craft was much better, she was also able to create a copy of it. With a small smile on her lips she started to clean the workplace and put the salves on a safe place.

Her last try to craft something was long ago and since Saphira wanted to do the familiar quests she needed something from an alchemist, also it was time to bring her 'Smoking Cauldron' back to live, - he actually was never really alive... - she thought and looked around. Saphira walked behind the counter and start to put the needed things on it, like mortar and pestle, a small knife to cut things and a few vessels then she took on her apron. After a short look on her materials she took two and start her attempt to make two salves out of them. The first of the two attempts was quiet good, she was able to make a useful salve out of the material, the second attempt wasn't that good, Saphira wasn't able to make a salve out of the material but she managed to save the used material before it was to late for it.

after Saphira had told Runa, that she shouldn't talk about Hei like she did, she asked, if she was friends with the (- I wonder why she now calls him 'Nice Man' - Saphira thought ironical) 'Nice Man', Saphira thought a moment - We are more than friends, so you may understand my reaction as you start to speak about him like that. - she answered and looked at the girl.
As Runa sent her a party invite she asked her about the guild - Yeah, the Guardians of the new Dawn... - Saphira thought a moment about the guild and what she could tell Runa about it while they where on their way to the place where the first beginner quest would start - They are friendly - she said first - We try to help the low level players to get along in this 'Game' - Saphira looked at the girl - We don't have only one leader, Stryder, Hei and Eatos did build up the guild and their are also the leaders, but now there are only two of them left, Stryder and Hei. - she told Runa and remembered what happened to Eatos - Eatos, our lost guardian... - Saphira mumbled. As Saphira looked up she saw the shop of Zackariah - We are almost there, since it is you who wants to do the quest so you should accept it, I will come in as well and do the quest with you, maybe there is still a chance to get along together - her lips showed a small, friendly smile as she opened the door for the girl to enter after her.

Saphira smiled - I simply take you with me when I do the familiar quest, I don't want to be alone and you can search some materials while I try to find a animal friend. after the quest I will give you the materials I should have given you now. - she said and looked at him . as Hei started to work on her order and some other items she watched him, he was good at his job. Another customer entered the shop, shortly after that, Hei had finished her order - Thank you honey -. Saphira greeted the guy who had entered the shop then she said good bye to Hei with a kiss - I wish you a good day. - with a smile on her face Saphira left the shop.

The order Saphira gave to Hestia was quicker done then she had thought, it really would be a big help to her while the quest she wanted to do. Saphira smiled back at Hestia as she reached her the item - I am sure it will help me, thank you - she answered - I will try my best to stay safe on my way, stay safe, too - Saphira added an put the item in her inventory.
Still with a smile on her face she prepared herself to left the warm shop - Good luck for all the other crafts - she said before she left the shop and entered the cold world behind the shop door.

Soon after she had asked Hei the question, if he knows a good place, she got an answer from him. He told her, that he knows a place and that it will took two or three hours to reach this place, she smiled. After this, they begun to make their way up to the mountains. Saphira couldn't wait to reach the mountains and the place Hei had choose, as she climbed on a rock which was nearly as high as Hei was, she remembered once more what he had told her earlier - Try to focus on the good side of your life... - with a bright smile on her face she looked at him - You are one of the few good sides of my life. - she thought with a warm feeling in her chest. After a few minutes on top of the rock she climbed careful back down to follow Hei again. As Saphira had reached her beloved Hei she jumped in front of him and grabbed his hands - Hei, please promise me, that you would never leave me with out a reason. I know it is not so good to think about an end now, but I just wanted to say it, if you ever would leave me, pleas name me a reason. - then she hugged him, glad to feel him close to her, she never had loved a person like this before so she wanted to keep what they had as long as possible.

The title the girl had given herself was kinda funny: defender of sweets. - It sounds childish and funny at the same time... - Saphira thought and listened as Runa continued talking. Then Runa showed Saphira the clothes she had under her bunny jacket, they looked short, really short. Saphira was sure, that the "old man" which had made Runa the clothes was Hei. Until now the things Runa did said were more or less okay, Saphira disliked hearing that Hei was an old man, he isn't that old, but then the girl said something about Hei that made her want to slap her once more. She could barely hold herself back as she had raised her left hand again to slap her face again - Don't. Talk. About him. Like. That! - Saphira said calm but with a dangerous tone in her voice and if glances could kill Runa probably would be dead now. Saphira took a deep breath and her body relaxed again. - If you don't want to go out alone I may come with you as long as you stop to talk about him like that and as long as you keep your hands by yourself. - Saphira said and looked at her, she was able to see the rest of Runa's shock about her reaction in her eyes - Also, if you don't want anyone to want to look under your skirt wear a longer skirt. - Saphira added and turned - If you still want to do the quest with me you should follow me, I know where Zackariah has his shop. And to answer your question, yes, I do have a name, call me Saphira and pleas stop saying 'Miss', I am not that old. -

Saphira had to do another visit for today, this time she made her way up to the eleventh floor, searching for Beat's shop where she would order the last thing she needed for the quest she wanted to do. It took her some time to find the shop, careful she opened the door and entered the shop. A bell sound told the owner, that someone had entered his shop, Saphira walked up to the counter as she saw someone in a open kitchen working on some food. - Hey there, you are Beat, right? My name is Saphira, I would like to place an order. - She said to the man and quickly filled out an order, hoping that it wont be to much work for him since he was already working on something else. As she had finished she handed him the order.

For one of the three things she would need for the familiar quest she could get from Hei. It was close to noon when Saphira entered "The Hanger" with a smile on her face. Inside the shop she looked around, searching for Hei, as she found him she greeted him with a hug - Hey honey - Saphira said and looked at him - I have to order something. - she walked over to his counter and start to fill out the order form. As she had finished she gave the order to him - I am sorry, I don't have enough mats at the moment, I will pay you back as soon as possible. -

After some time of walking through the cold landscape of the fourth floor she did found the place where Hestia had her shop. Saphira had asked some people about things which help someone to find a familiar a little bit easier, one of the things she needed she could get from a performer. Saphira walked through the big cave with its crystals and entered the shop, it was warm inside. Slowly and shy she looked around - I-i need to place an order. - she said a little bit stuttering and walked up to the counter - I need a familiar call for a quest. - she added and looked at Hestia - It would be nice, if you could do it as soon as possible. - with a little smile Saphira gave her order to Hestia.

Saphira wasn't really sure, what she should think about the whole situation. After she had slapped the girl, she did start to cry and told Saphira, that she was sorry and asked her if she could forgive to her mistake - So her name is Runa...I never had seen her before. - Saphira thought and looked at Runa...Then she helped the girl up again - If I find you one more time close to a part of me where you don't belong I will slap you again, just to make it clear. - She told her - Even if it does look soft. - her sight wandered over the small girl, wondering if she had seen her once before, the answer was no. - Runa was the name? - she asked, thought a moment, then she added the next question - What are you doing here? Besides touching the body of a stranger? - She waited a moment then Saphira start to speak again - Do you know the beginner quests? They should be perfect for someone bored as you. - she thought back at her first quest of the beginner quest - I am pretty sure they will bore her...but they will make her stronger, then she would be able to do fighting stuff. But it also would be fun, at least for me if I would go with her. - Saphira had to smirk a little bit while she thought about it and waited for an answer.

Saphira stood up and looked around, she was angry, annoyed and soaked with muddy, cold water. - I hate to be useless like this - she thought with a angry glow in her green eyes, everybody here did something useful, besides her, even the tanks were able to deal damage to the fish monsters and what did she? She missed every time she had tried to hit this dumb thing. Teeth gnashingly she looked at the meerfolk she tried to hit since the fight did start, Dustin was now here too and he had already hit it, it made her even more angry. Saphira took a deep breath, even if she had missed until now every time she wanted to try it again, she wanted to show, that she was able to fight. After she the deep breath she stood there for a moment, remembering the moves which she would need now, then she start to run at the fish thing. With her dark blue glowing dagger, Saphira slashed the chest of the monster, it was a good hit and she saw how the wound starts to bleed, with a evil smile on her lips she took a step back and looked at the screaming monster.

There was nothing important like a quest or something to do today for Saphira so she walked trough the streets of the town of beginning, her feet brought her to the street where Hei had is shop and as she looked at the shop door she saw a small girl which had just left the shop, wearing a ripped school uniform and a bunny coat, the combo of clothes looked kinda strange. The girl looked around, then with a bright smile she made her way down the street towards Saphira, a little bit unsure she continued her way to the shop, thinking why the girl was smiling so bright and wondering if Hei was busy at the moment or not. Before the girl could pass her it seemed like she was stumbling - That's not a real stumble - Saphira thought but it already was to late. She found herself on the ground, the strange girl on top of her squishing her boobs?! Slap! Saphira's hand hit the cheek of the girl, then she stood up again. The strange girl made a face like she was about to cry - What do you think you are doing there? - Saphira asked her, she didn't scream, instead of this her voice did sound hard. A little bit guilty she added - I am kinda sorry for the slap, still, if you want to fake your stumble you need to work more on it and don't tell me I am wrong, I can tell you the difference between real and fake, I saw and made them often. - she cleaned her clothes from the dirt dust on the ground then she looked back at the girl - Do you want anything from me or why did you do this? - her voice was now softer and she was ready to overlook what the girl did, depending on what she would do next.

As Hei asked her on the seventh floor if she liked hiking too she remembered the question he asked her down on the first floor before they had entered the teleporter, she hadn't told him an answer till now. She thought a moment, then she answered his second question first - I don't love hiking like you, it is okay and kinda fun also this is the third time that I visit the mountains, I was twice there in the real world. - After she told him this she wanted to give his first question an answer, too. - Now to your first question, you are right, my name means sapphire in English. My family was poor and for my mom I was a treasure, she named her most precious thing after a real treasure to show the world, that money isn't all you need in life... - pictures came up in her mind, pictures of the past where everything was still right, or at least many things - There were many good times, but they had all an end as he left, he left us for that blonde, dumb woman... - Saphira felt her anger grow as she remembered the moment she did saw the two together, she had to take a deep breath to calm down again, then she felt the sadness again. Saphira didn't want to be sad, this day should be filled with fun and precious memories of her and Hei, she looked up to him, then she hugged him. It took her some time to fight the sadness back down, but having someone close helped her and as she had won the fight she looked again at him - Do you know a good place where we could go? Maybe something with a good view? -

Soon after Saphira had asked Hei the question he answered her. He told her, that they would go to the seventh floor, which he visit often in his free time, he wanted to tell her something about himself and the things he likes. But after this he said something kinda strange, he wanted to introduce himself once again. - But I know his name already... - she thought and tried to find out what he wanted to say with this words. Then he continued, Hei told her his real name, he seemed to be nervous about it. - His name sounds chinese, it sounds nice. - she smiled - Li Chen Chung. - She liked his name - I think I will continue calling you Hei, maybe Le too, if this is okay for you. - she was still smiling then she added - Uhhm...before we go to the seventh floor I should introduce myself as well. - Saphira looked at him - My real name is Safaia Kioshi but I prefer Saphira. - she hugged him before they entered the teleporter.
As Saphira looked around on the seventh floor she saw mountains, mountains everywhere. The biggest mountains had tops, covered with snow, the smaller mountains had snow-less tops but they were still big. The floor had a beautiful environment, while she looked at the mountains she got an idea - Could it be, that you like hiking? - Saphira asked Hei curious. 

Before Saphira could turn around to have a look behind her, someone hugged her from behind. Saphira had to cringe a little bit before she heared Hei's voice. Glad, that it wasn't a stranger who had hugged her, she turned around and kissed Hei. - Hey Honey - Saphira said with a soft voice and looked at him with a warm shine in her eyes. - So, it was your plan to do something today, where do we go now? - curious she looked at him, wondering, what they would do now and where they would go. She felt a little bit nervous, but she didn't know the reason for her nervousness, was it because of the reason Hei had sent the message? Not just doing something together but also talking about the things they like and what they had experienced in the real world. Waiting for an answer she looked at Hei, she smiled, she was happy that Hei wanted to talk about something like this with her.
