Saphira

The clear water was refreshing, and as her head was the only thing of her which was above the water she wasn´t sure, if she should go any further. She looked around, Hei was still at the shore close to his little raptore. She looked at the fishes, which were swimming around her in some distance, glowing shadows in the dark water. As Hei start to swim to the middle of the lake, they swam out of his way, it looked like the light was fleeing from him. After some time he dived down to the ground of the lake - It looks like he is still searching for materials, maybe I should do the same too...after all I wasn´t able to find many materials... - She tried to came a little bit closer as Hei reached the water surface again and came to her. Once he was close enough he showed her a shiny shell he did found on the ground of the lake - It is beautiful - Saphira said - Oh man, you really are way better than me in finding useful materials. - she added with a smile and looked at him.

The girl looked up as she heared Hei calling her name. - Sure, but what exactly do you want do do? - she asked as she walked over to the little raptor. She wasn´t sure what she should think of what Hei said - He won´t be that reckless to jump in the see...right? - she thought as she looked back at him and saw how he undressed till ther was nothing left than shorts and his cloak, then he jumped into the lake. Kinda scared Saphira walked to the waterside and followed Hei with her eyes. It was easy to find him in the lake since all the glowing fishes swam away from him. After a short time she saw him again at the water surface before he dived again. As he came up again he swam back to the shore and asked her, if she would want to take a swim and that the water wasn´t that cold and that he didn´t find something dangerous in there. Unsure she looked at the see and the glowing fishes in it, sure she would like to swim in the water but undressing while ther was someone else? Even if she didn´t have to take off all the clothes it was a strange feeling. In top and short pants she walked into the water.

Saphira still couldn´t belive, that she did killed the wasp queen, she had missed her all the time and now the wasp was nothing more than a few last disappearing pixels. Short she hugged Hei a little big thighter, only hoping, that this kill wasn´t a simple daydream, before she let go of him and stood up again. Thinking about a reason, why Hei was looking away she didn´t realized the pop-up which told her, that the wasp queen had dropped something. After a few seconds she saw the pop-up and accapted the drop which was called <<The Matriarch's Stinger>> and looked at Hei. She didn´t know the reason why, but she had the feeling that she had to hug him again. The girl made a little step in Hei´s direction before she stopped and answered to his question - Thank you - she said with quiet voice - Yeah, we should head back and complete the quest. - with this words she slowly turned and start the way back to the town.

- Thank you Froppy - Saphira said betwen two deep breaths - Maybe we should really stop swimming for now, but I think, if I would do this more often something like this wont happen again. - she spit out another mouth of water as Froppy patted her back with her long frog tongue - Thanks, again - she said with a little smile on her face and wiped some water out of her face. As Tsu´s tongue was away, Saphira shaked her head and hair like a dog his wet fur. Cool, sparkling water drops flew out of her black hair and through the air and reflected the few sunbeams around the two. Just a few seconds after she hade stopped shaking her head, Tsu booped her nose with her tongue again, and again Saohira had to rub her nose in reflexe. - What should we do now? There is still much time left of this day. Is ther something you want to do? -

Saphira tried to cover her face with her hands as Tsu splashed wither her tongue water at her. As she took her hands back she thought a moment about what Tsu had said about her tongue - A blessing and a curse, I don´t really know where this is a curse but she would know it better than me - - Were is such a tongue a curse? If I think about it I can only find some positive points for something like this. Even if you are a short person you can get things in some high. - she looked curious at the frog girl and made some steps in the water. She was high enough that the water wasn´t able to cover her shoulders and the lake didn´t looked deep from the outside. But as Saphira made the next step she lost the ground under her feets and sunk deeper. As she tried to get some air in her lungs she had water in her mouth. - It´s alright, calm down. Don´t panic - she tried to calm herself down, opener her eyes wide and looked at the water surface above her - It´s alright - with a strong moves of her armes she managed to get back to the world over the water, coughed and tried to fill her lungs with air again - Damn it! -

Emty, useless, the words who discribed her feeligs the best. Saphira was still on the ground as she saw Hei, it seemed to her like he was debating with himselfe. Saphira herself wasn´t sure, what the better choice would be, she wasn´t able to hit or even kill the wasp, so why was he running around all the time? But as she saw that Hei start to attack the wasp, she freezed for a moment, was this the better way for her? None of these ways would let her feel better, but who would care about her feelings? She was just a useless, little girl who wasn´t able to do anything. - I think it will be good for me and other players, if I would stop asking someone to help me, I am just in theire way... - As she heared something falling on the ground she looked up - Did he killed the wasp? - but ther wasn´t a Hei with his speer in the ground and pixels around him - He missed the wasp...? Is ther still a chance for me to kill it...? - slowly she stood up and aimed at the wasp. Her dagger begun to glow again and she start running around her until she reached her backside. Short she closed her eyes and took a deep breath - This is my last chance, please. This time I have to hit the wasp, please, onliy this time -
Saphira opened her eyes again and start to sneak up onto the wasp, the light around her dagger begunto glow brighter as in the attack before. As she reached the was she waited a short moment before she slashed with her dagger after the insect. As the wasp made a move forward she closed her eyes - Please! - The sound of a exploding mob let her open her eyes again. - I did it? - she said quiet and looked at the pixels wh were once a wasp queen - I did it! - with glowing eyes and a big smile she looked at Hei before she hugged the man on the ground - I killed her -

She took a deep breath of the cool air inside the hall and looked back at Hei as he said that they could go down to the lake. His voice sounds strange in the huge hall and it makes her flesh creep. She nodded, agreeing to what he had said and followed him slowly climbing down. As they get closer to the lake, the ground became slippery and Saphira made more careful steps, falling down on a place like this was one of the last things she wanted to do. She continued her way down, avoiding the slippery and mossy stones and looked searching for some materials around as Hei reached the lake and turned to her. Slowly she came closer as he told her to come down and looked into the water at the little fishes - Yes, they are so close, if I would stretch out my arm I could touch them. -  In thoughts she stretched out her arm and touched careful the cold water surface - It looks so peaceful -

It was a long time ago since she was swimming and it was kinda hard for her body to make all of the moves in the water, even if it was just normal swimming at the moment. - It is a long time ago since I was swimming, but still it is the same great feeling. Also it feels a little bit like you are flying - she said and followed Tsu. Saphira was glad, that the lake wasn´t deep and that she was still able to stand at the ground of it as Tsu booped her again with her tongue on her nose. Out of a reflex she rubbed her nose, nerly everytime someone toches her nose she had to rub it, it was an anoying reflex and she wasn´t able to resist it complete. - What? W-why? - she said a little bit stuttering but after a short moment she had to smile - I think I would do the same, if I had had such a long tongue like you - she said laughing. - Take this - sha said smiling and splashed some water at Tsu.

Saphira wished she could say the same abouther past, but ther wasn`t many peaceful moments. Running, thinking about the next chance to get some food and hiding in old buildings and emty places was nearly all she had to do in her past. It still felt kinda strange, that she was glad to be in this game-world while many of the other players just wanted to return to their home and family. Saphira looked at Tsu as she jumped into the water and start to swim like a frog. After a short moment, Tsu prodded Saphira´s nose with her tongue, with big eyes the girl looked at the frog - Did she really...? -
Unsure she looked into the water and at the frog girl, her mother teached her once how to swim, but was she able to remember everything about it? Careful she start to walk into the little lake. The water really was great and refreshing, careful she made another step into the water. As she walked far enough she start to make the moves she rememberd. It took some time till her body was able to remember how to swim, but as he was able remember, it felt like she was born to swim in the water. It was like back then, as her life and everything else was okay and good.

- Yeah, it really is a mix of a relaxing and energized feeling -  She smiled again and closed her eyes for a short moment to took a deep breath of the warm and heavy air which was in the same point refreshing and full of nice smells. She heared Tsu as she made a bigger hop and as she made the next hop, Saphira saw a tongue over her hed, pointing on a place infront of them, soon she heraed Tsu, who told her that she had found a lake. - That sounds good - She said as Tsu start to hoop a little bit faster - Whait for me - she told her and walked a little bit faster herself. After a few minutes the forest opened to a clearing with a lake. Saphira was able to see the higher treetops and a little bit of the sky on the surface of the water. Slowly she came closer to the lake and lookede into the clear water and was able to see some smal fishes swimming around there - It looks beautiful -

Saphira looked at the jumping girl and after a short moment she followed her into the jungle. Even if she was here already once before, the environment of the jungle kinda kiled her mind. Amazed she looked around, ther were som many different coloures everywere and all these strange sounds. Saphira was sure, that the jungle would blow her mind everytime she would enter it, no matter how often she had enetered it before. She let herself get lost in the colours and the sounds of the jungle for a schort moment before she cleared her mind again and followed Tsu again with open eyes, trying to find a lake. - What do you think about this place? - Saphira sked Froppy - Isn´t it beautiful? All these coloures. - Smiling she jumped over a little trunk in a higher thicked and came again out of it with leaves in her hair.

Saphira looked around, a few of the players were talking and it seemed to her, that Tsu was talking with Hei about her role in the fight. Short she remembered the first fight against a dragon, she was a lower level, nothing much changed since that fight, she would´t be able to do much demage to the second dragon too. After a short moment, Tsu had replyed to Hei and walked over to her, it was a kinda strange feeling to be huged by someone. - Don´t worry, I will be careful. You should be careful too, you are a healer, aren´t you? - Saphira came closer to Hei and Stryder - So I am something like the leader for the second paty? - she thought as she listened to Hei, who told the group how the teams would be. Fast she checked her euipment one more time, looked at her armour and the frost dagger in her hand - I won´t be able to deal the dragon much demage, but with a little bit luck I will be able to stun it or give him bleed. -

As she arrived, she saw a strange look in Eatos eyes, maybe because of the black armour she was wearing, no, not maybe, the armour was the reason for this look in her eyes. - I understand her, no normal person would do something like this, I am still wondering why I am actually doing this to myself... - The blue haired girl stood up talking about her home were it was cool, Saphira wasn´t sure if she meant her real home or if she was just talking about her home here in SAO. - Uhhm...yes, you´re right...I-i am not so good at talking to other people, so I didn´t really tried to talk to someone who was new to me. Uhhm...the only one I know at least a litle bit is Hei, he was one of the first people I met here, or with other words, uhhm...he was the first person who I met who start to talk with me. - She looked to the ground, she was sure, that Eatos wasn´t a bad person but it wasn´t easy for her to talk with her, at leat she is still a stranger to her. - Uhhm...since we are in the same guild I-i hope we could become something like friends, or at least good guild mates. - She smiled, then she begun to wonder were Eatos familiare was, if she remembered right ther was nearly all the time a husky around her - Uhhm...if I may ask...were is your husky? -

Saphira looked at Tsu and wondered, if they would reach a lake and would swim in it, if she would also swim like a frog, even if she wondered about this she was already sure that she would. A smile showed up on her face for a short moment - Yeah, it is really relaxing in the shade after the heat of the sun on the skin and clothes. - Tsu sticked out her tongue as she saw some bananas above her and with a suprised look in her eyes, Saphira followd Tsu´s moves. She pulled two bananas off of the bunch and offered her one with the words, that the banananas should be good here and that she should try one. Still with a suprised face she took the bananana and start to peel it. Careful she took a bite, bananas were that kind of fruit she didn´t ate often. - They are really good, they are sweet - she looked at Froppy - Thank you. - After a few bites she had aten up the bananana and asked - What do you think about searching for something like a little lake? -

As Hei start to laugh, she laughed with him, not so loud like him but she was really laughing. Scared of the lod sounds, the frog jumped down from her head into a group of fern plants and disappeared. Hei was the first one who entered the ruin and as Saphira followed him, she saw something like glowing moss, growing on the walls around them. After a few moments she heared Hei who told her and his raptor, that they should stay close to not lost each other - I don´t would like to wander through this corridors alone, all the more if I was in a group before... - she mumbled and followed Hei and his little raptor. After some more time of walking, the tree reached a huge hall with a lake. She saw Hei who opened a chest he had found and was a little bit jealous, he had already found so much while she wasn´t able to find something for some alchemistic stuff. She looked around, hoping to find something, ther was the glowing moss and some glowing fish in the lake, but nothing that looked useful to her. Even if she wasnt able to find something, she liked the mystic and a little bit creepy atmosphere.

It was frustrating, it just looked so easy when Hei did it, was it just because he was on a higher level than her? She didn´t get it. Everytime ther were only a few centimeters left between her dagger and the mobs, but ther was nearly never a hit, why wasn´t she able to hit this dumb insects? She looked at the wasp on the ground and start to feel empty inside - Why doesn´t he kill it? I am sure he wants to kill the wasp, so why does he just run around? It seems like he really want to give me a chance to kill it... - Her dagger start to glow again - I should take the chance, I can´t fail all the time, at least on of my attacs shoul find the target. - with her glowing dagger in her hands she came fast closer to the wasp, jumped and tried to hit it again. She was sure, that she woud hit the wasp this time, but as the dagger was just a few centimeters from the body of the wasp away, the insect tried to flew away and Saphira hit the ground with her dagger. Because of the jump-attack and the move from the wasp she hit the ground too - Why...? I was so close... -

She start to think for a short moment, noone ever had named her Saph before, actually nobody had ever given her another name for fun before, besides Pinball. But if she remembered right, he only did this to hide that he was nervous at the christmas party. As Tsu changed her clothes, she remembered the heat again, it was a terrible feeling to stand with a black leather armour in the hot sun. - Sounds good. - she answered as Tsu told her, thae she had brought some drinks and two meals from McFroppys with her - I am sure we will need the drinks in this heat. - and Saphira herself start to change her clothes. She put the armour in her inventory and a grey top and black shorts were left - I hope we will enter the jungle soon, ther is less sunlight then at this place. - she thought and followed Tsu. Interestet she looked at Tsu, she walked- no, she just made short hops towards the jungle - She really is like a little frog. - Soon the two reached the jungle and thankful for the cool shadows, Saphira made two fast steps into them.

She didn´t really know how, but Saphira managed to over sleep again, even if she should have had enough sleep. She jumped out of the bed like a cat you did throw into the water and lookede aout of the window. Even if she hadn´t really something to do she wanted to be prepared for the message of Stryder, which would tell the guild that they would start the next dragon hunt quest. As Saphira opened tired her menue and saw the message of Stryder, she freezed for a short moment - ...Crap! -
Fast she ate something and put on her armour before she left the shop. With long steps she made her way to the teleportation plattform and teleported up to the second floor - I am sure that I am to late... - She opened the map and made her way to the place, where the group should meet.
Faster as she thought she arrived the place and it seemed like she was the last arriving member of the group. As she looked around she saw the red haired girl from the first quest, Eatos, Stryder, Tsu, Hei and another member she didn´t recognised.
- Hey there, I hope I am not to late -

Saphira yawned as the soft bell sound woke her up - I did fall asleep again, oh man. - after she stretched her arms she opened her menue and looked who had sent her a message, ther are not many people who sent her messages. - It is from Tsu...I wonder what she want from me... - slowly she begun to read her message - so hanging around...this is a good chance for me to learn something about her. - Saphira stood up, took her armour on and grabbed a piece of bread before she left her shop. enjoying the soft breeze she walked through the town of beginnings until she reached the teleporter. She remembered her last visit on this floor, it is terrible up ther in a black armour...she sighed and entered the teleporter - I don´t know much about Tsu...I hope this day won´t end up in a disaster. - she closed her eyes. The heat of the sixth floor hit her like a punch in the face, but even if it was hot here she remembered the beautiful jungle - It´s worth it - short she had to smile then she stepped down from the plattform and looked searching for Tsu around. It doesn´t took her long, after a short moment she saw the little girl near the teleporter - Uhhm...hey ther Tsu - she introduced herself with a little smile.

Saphira made a step backwards and looked at the wasp, which had made an angry noise as she had missed Hei. She followed the big insect with her eyes, looking for a weak point and whaiting for a good moment for her to attack the big wasp. This time she had to hit it, she wanted to finish this mob and the quest. Saphira looked at Hei and wasn´t sure what she should think of what he was doing. Hei was running around in circles and curves, trying to keep the attention of the wasp on him. Step for step she sneaked up onto the boss wasp from behind and the blue light around her dagger appeared again as she triggerd the swordart Tri Pierce. - This can´t be true! - as Saphira tryed to hit the big wasp the insect flew a little bit closer to Hei and tried to hit him again. Saphira saw the blade close at the wasp but not close enough. As something like a excange she saw the wasp hitting the ground.

She looked at Hei as he told her that she should follow him into the fight and start to run at the wasp queen. She saw that Hei hit the wasp with his spear and nearly killed it, there was just a little red part left in the HP bar. She looked at the big wasp, she felt the cold dagger in her hand and was ready to help Hei. Her dagger slowly started to glow in a blue light as Hei turned to her and yelled that it was her turn now followed by a loud "switch", for a short moment she had to smile, but it was gone as fast as it came. She took a deep breath, now there was no room for failour, this time she had to hit the wasp, she didn´t want to look like a little incapable girl, she wanted to show that she was able to fight. As she ran at the wasp she tried to release Tri Pierce, but before she was able to hit the wasp she tried to hit Hei and Saphiras dagger only hit the air  - Damn it. - She said and looked at the wasp which had missed Hei - At least something... -

- I will try to stop asking about it while and after fights - She said with quiet voice and looked up to Hei. Asking for things out of an habit really is annoying, but she really cared about the people around her.
After a moment she layed down and closed her eyes. She listened to the wind and as she heared Hei, who stood up again she opened her eyes. It seemed like he was kinda nervous, he walked around with his spear in the hands and a careful look on their environment. He looked like he was ready for the fight against the queen and full of energy, but he stayed all the time close enough to Saphira - Am I really that weak? Or is he just a really careful person? - She wasn´t sure, what she should think about this as he came closer and reached out his hand for her.She looked at her energy bar before she took his hand and stood up - Yeah, I think I am ready for this.  - she responded to his question and looked around - We should finish this quest soon. - She made her way over the open field, after some time she looked back, to see if Hei followed her, she doesn´t really want to start again a fight without help.
- There she is - she said and looked at the big wasp, which had spawned in some distance - Ready when you are. -

- Cuddly animals are nice, but I think a frog or snake would fit better to an alchemist - She said and looked with big eyes at Hei as he said she would be probably a witch - I am not a witch, be careful what you say or I will turn you into a frog. - she made a upset face but after a short moment she smiled again, it was fun to have Hei around, fun...something rare in her life. Slowly she climbed a little bit higher and looked again for plants. Ribbit. - Why are you still there? - she wondered about the little frog on her head - You could at least help me to find something. - she mumbled to the frog. Saphira looked around as Hei called her name and climbed around the ruin to him - You did find something? - she asked and looked at the plants and the dark part behind them. - Yeah, it looks like the entrance and I am sure we have still enough time so we could go in and have a look. -

Saphira wasn´t able to remember when she made her way donw to the shop, but as she heared the soft bell sound of an incoming message. Saphira opened her eyes and looked at the messages. - It´s a message from Eatos... - she start to read the message...floor five, if she remembered right it was the desert floor - This skill sounds nice...but, a desert... - Slowly she stood up and took her armour on, also this traveler quest would be a good chance for Saphira to learn something about her blu haired guild made.
After a fast breakefast she made her way to the teleportation platform. It doesn´t took her long to reach the place with the teleporter and soon she stood in the heat of the fifth floor. Sand, hot wind and black armour...Saphira sighed and begun to search for Eatos. After some time she was able to see the blue haired girl - Uhhm...Hi Eatos, nice to see you - Saphira smiled as she came closer - Wanna start the quest? I don´t really like thise heat so...I want to finish the part in the desert soon... -
