Ruby

After she had tried to attack, another ball of energy had been shot into her, even despite missing terribly. Ruby had looked back as she had attempted to keep her balance, and saw that the bees had moved forward to attack one hitting her and getting even lower HP... however the same one, the SAME one that hadn't taken any form of damage still continues to either critically hit her or fails once again to even remotely attack her. Ruby had let out a sigh but had quickly moved forward and slammed her fist against one of the bees head and ended its life, however she had looked up to the other bee... that ONE bee that refused to just set itself up for failure. Ruby had looked back and said "Still.. its a little embarrassing to miss against something this weak and for me to be a really high level.." she had nervously chuckled.

Ruby had giggled when she had asked if they had been purposefully missed her at this point, she had said out to her "Maybe we shouldn't have said anything about them needing to hit you. Now they must know." She had looked back towards them and watched as they had attacked, in which... they both had missed, however as Ruby had moved forward she had tried to attack as they were moving away from Hestia and she had missed the monster she had been trying to hit. Ruby had moved forward on one leg after missing trying to not fall onto the ground, and after a moment she had regained her posture and got both of her feet on the ground and standing straight, Ruby had sighed and said out to Hestia "I'm sorry for missing..." she had looked back forward to the bees, one had been in range to die by her attack, however the other one still remains unfazed.

Ruby had looked up to see how much energy she had regened from the effect of Energize, she herself has the skill... however she doesn't recall ever actually using the skill before. However she had looked to how much energy she had been using then over to Hestia to see how much energy she had been using in which she hadn't seen her energy go below a certain point. However, they were not in any danger of the sorts... it just might mean that Ruby miiiiight not have enough energy to fight against the big bad queen. Looking over she had said to get ready to strike another, Ruby had looked forward as they had moved forward to strike, Ruby had moved forward after they had attacked and once again another one bites the dust after one hit, however... it does take quite a bit of energy to use.

Ruby after hitting the Minion she had received a little ball of energy from Hestia, Ruby had looked over to Hestia and smiled warmly saying out "Thanks sweetie~ these sword arts cost more than a handful to perform" she had giggled informing her of how much energy she actually consumes from using the same sword art over and over. However the combat had pursued and Hestia and performed that she would do her best to do some thorns damage towards them, Ruby had said out "Just get them to take Thorns damage once, that seems to be the sweet spot for me to just annihilate them off of the world." she had looked to the group as they had continued to attack, Ruby had looked to one of the bees that had its HP lowered and she didn't wait to attack she had immediately moved forward to punch the bee getting a crit and ending its life.

Ruby had smiled towards Hestia and followed behind her to the boss, however... despite wanting to know more about Hestia, Ruby had stayed silent, a lot of things had been going around in Ruby's mind especially how she had felt towards Hestia in which she wanted to get things straight before they would find themselves in battle. However, it didn't take too much time for the faint sound of buzzing to be heard, however after a second 5 minions had appeared to be heading this way, Hestia saying out that she needed to teach them with her Martial Arts, Ruby had chuckled and said out to her "What you aren't going to do any form of damage to them?" After a moment the combat had began which lead to Hestia immediately gained all of their attention attacking her taking a little bit of thorns damage, Ruby had moved forward and slammed her fist against one of the Wasp's head's using All Might ending its life immediately.

Ruby had giggled and said out to her "Will do Ember." the giggle had lasted a second or two. However after she had spotted the chest Hestia and looked over and offered to open the chest this time around, Ruby had nodded her head and followed up behind her leaning forward and downward to see her open the chest, however as she had opened it the reward screen had popped up in which Ruby had looked over to see. However... it wasn't the results that they had wanted to see. Ruby had let out a sigh and said "I am never going to be able to refund my skill at this rate of col gain..." she had complained, however she had picked herself back up as it just wasn't worth being upset over, over time she was going to get the Col... slowly but surely she was going to be able to get it. "Guess its time to hit the Oregon Trail again." she had giggled.

"Oh." Ruby had exclaimed as she had let out a small laugh, "Yeah, that's how I managed to change my characters eye color, however with the help of this cutie... you've convinced me to take them off." she had giggled. They had continued to walk throughout the town... which didn't take too long before they had found themselves outside of the main settlement, as they did so Ruby had felt a little nervous however she had simple just looked over to Hestia as she had been speaking and revealed a smile. Ruby had giggled and said "Well I will be sure to message you whether I am feeling unmotivated, or I am feeling a tad bit lonely~" she had tried to joke around towards the end of the last statement, however... it could be a legit thing she could message Hestia about. After walking down the path towards the boss Ruby and Hestia had been talking about the boss, however... out of the corner of her eye she had spotted a Chest. Ruby had poked at Hestia's shoulder and pointed towards it.

Ruby had blinked a few times after bringing her eye color back to its original tint before saying out to Hestia "Should have expected what?" questioning what she had meant originally. After a moment she had began to poke fun at her saying that she should had spent some time figuring these things out, Ruby had replied "Well I am sorry for losing all my motivation thinking I would be caught out in the open on my own. I probably would have known this sort of thing if I was actually motivated to get a lot of these quests done." she had then moved to a giggle brushing it off and taking what she had said as a joke instead of being insulted a little but by it. Walking down the paths of the main settlement things had remained to be calm rather than seeing any figures trying to hide from her, she had kept a keen eye looking around making sure of these things, however after a moment she hd looked over to Hestia that had told her about her hair, Ruby had smiled and said "You might like it, lets just see once all of this is said and done."

Ruby had wanted to argue back and said out to her "Well if you want me to be fair, the biggest portion I liked about my original hair was the fact it was blonde with my original eye color... speaking of." she had opened her inventory and removed the eye contacts that had changed her eye color, with a blink her eyes had returned back to its red color it once was before. "Plus I believe I have a outfit that works with a shorter blonde hair color... plus having such long hair like I did is well... quite a bit of effort if you want me to be fair with you." she had giggled saying about how long her hair was. "Just... hear me out about the short hair blonde idea? Maybe it will be a better way of showing myself instead of pink hair, or what I have going on because I wanted to hide from a few assholes that think they can get away with anything." However afterwards she had asked if she knew the way, Ruby had shook her head and said "Lead the way, I have no idea where to even go."

Ruby had thought for a moment and said "Well... again it wouldn't be accurate, so it would kind of... bug me that it wouldn't be the correct length, which at this point I have no clue what it could even be. I know it was really long but it wasn't something I just knew. Maybe... I guess I could make blonde hair work with the short hair that I have now maybe?" she had asked her seeing how she would react towards having blonde but short hair. She had wondered if that was going to be a good replacement for the hair she had know, knowing that there was just no point in necessarily hide anymore, or at least she had felt more comfortable about the situation that she had been in. After a moment she had said out the teleport command and she had followed behind along with Purobolos following up behind noticing that she had finally left the restaurant. As they had arrived on the second floor she had giggled and placed her hand on top of Purobolos chuckling saying "Nice to see you again buddy."

Ruby had looked over when she had asked why not bring back her blond hair, the answer was kind of simple, before long she had said out to her "Well... mostly because my hair is this short, its typically... well extremely long, and having something this short well... kind of changed who I am, but without the long hair... still I am not really the same person. Plus to my knowledge I have never seen anything that could change my hair back to its original length, at least accurately... seems like with the commitment I made I just got to commit with it." she had informed her as they had walked down the path towards the teleport pad. As they had arrived she had sighed and said to her "Well that doesn't mean I can't feel bad about it, then... I owe you a meal then!" she had said not going to take a no as an answer for this one.

Ruby had nodded her head and stood up from her seat seeing that she had payed for the amount, Ruby didn't want to be rude... however every bit of col had just counted towards her being able to refund the skill, and to be honest... she probably will never be able to purchase a home with how often she actually uses col just to refund skills. Ruby had looked over to Hestia and said to her "Sorry for not paying for any of it... I kinda need to save every bit of col that I can to refund this skill to fix my build and everything." she had nervously giggled. However after a moment Hestia had spoke out and gave her a lesson about it all, Ruby had continued to nervously giggled and said to her "I guess I just have been discouraged from previous attempts in time and after the last thing that had been happened to me, I just... paniced and didn't know what to do. And... I guess I just wanted to hide everything, which means my long blonde hair had to go along with its color..."

Ruby had giggled after her response, she had smiled playfully and said to her "Awe, are you sure you don't want a kiss from me? Seems like you've always been wanting one~" she had taken a moment to pause and regain her posture as she had looked into Hestia's eyes before saying shaking her head "I may get scared, whether thats because my life is on the line or someone else's might be.. but one thing that will never change about me, is who I am... I just need a little help bettering myself and making myself better and confident to tackle these problems." she had giggled. After a moment the woman had came back and returned the plates to the kitchen where they had belonged, before long she had asked if she had wanted to go beat up a giant wasp queen, Ruby had smiled and nodded her head and said "Only if your cute butt is with me~"

Ruby had smiled saying that she would help her, and she would have her by Ruby's side, before pulling her to a close hug. Ruby had wrapped her arms around Hestia as well holding her close placing her head on her shoulder letting out a what tears were in her system to remove the thoughts that had been in her mind. Ruby had tried to force words out of her system to say out to Hestia and after a moment she had said to her "Thank you Ember..." she had let out a few more tears "Thank you..." she had cried into her shoulder. She had been living in fear, in terror from these people, she had feared that they would come back to her and she had seen them and lost herself all over again, however this time she had someone who was willing to stand by her side until everything had been resolved, there was no need to hide anymore and she had just been extremely thankful for it, Ruby had pulled up from her shoulders and looked her into her eyes and said "Is there... anything I could do to repay you...?"

Ruby just couldn't help but feel a little bit bad about herself, that many people have went out to get help and not truly get better on their own, she had felt bad to assume things on people, she had... some sort of grudge against those who said it was easy to do it by themselves, clearly they had never met Ruby. She had fought back to let out a few tears, in which she had been successful in doing so however looking back forward to Hestia she had smiled and nodded her head after her question saying to her "Please...? I cannot do this alone anymore... I need you, I need everyone..." she had gotten up from her seat and moved to Hestia's and sat next to her grabbing her hand and looking into her eyes "Please..?" she had asked one last final time even though she had already knew what the answer was going to be, without a doubt in her mind she had already known what the answer was going to be.

Ruby had just went back to finishing her meal as she had listened to Hestia, in which... she had sat in silence, just thinking, a portion of her mind had been screaming into her mind that she was right, one portion of her mind saying that she wouldn't be able to do such a thing, she couldn't get powerful enough... simply put it had been a war in her mind, trying to find what she should do... Ruby had looked down as she had finished her meal and she had wiped her mouth with a napkin just thinking, blinking a few times breathing in and out through her nose saying "I just don't know what to do. I know I can do it, but theres thoughts in my mind that tell me otherwise, then other thoughts in my mind are fighting the ones trying to convince me I cant, then my mind just goes to war... and I just... I just, I don't know what to do anymore. I can't come up with a clear answer with what to do. I- I'm just lost Hestia, I need help." she had finished asking for help.

Ruby had chuckled and said "I am still trying to get a grasp on the clothing you like, then when I find a group of clothing I would like you to try then I will ask you to come over to my store for a private meeting for you to try them. I try not to do it in public or anything, I don't want to dress anyone in something they don't like in front of people they don't know or people in general." she had giggled. However after a moment she had began to speak about something that had been infecting her mind in the past few moments, however after she had replied Ruby had thought for a moment and said "No I don't want to live in fear at all, however it still could be a possibility they could be stalking me. Sure I could get the mod to prevent them from tracking me... however they probably are smarter than that and could be watching where I go... probably even in this restaurant and I wouldn't know..." she had said getting a little more affected by it.

Ruby had giggled and said to her "Well, one things for certain if you ever meet up with me in the distant future I might just forcibly put some clothes on you for you to try. Its a pain for me to not do it now, I cant tell you how many times I have dragged Tel to put some stuff on." she had continued to giggle. However she had continued to eat, however she had kind of remained in silence just thinking about everything that had been going on. She had just breathed in the air, and just remained calm, there is a chance that they could be following her... however it was just better to not thin upon that and just focus on finding a way to beating them. Ruby had placed her drink down on the table and said out to Hestia "So... do you think they could be stalking me, behind the shadows? Waiting for the one opportunity they can, even if I can successfully get the mod?"

Ruby had chuckled and shook her head "Well, we still did spend money on all the materials, but yes you are correct we didn't spend hundreds of dollars and we made one that expresses myself more than what we could of ever bought. If I could show you I would show you... however its back at my American home and I kind of forgot what it even looked like... high school Cecilia and adult fashionista Cecilia are two different people." she had nervously giggled. However after a moment the woman had came back and presented them with their meals, and after her leaving she had seen Hestia place the Meatball meal in front of Kuro for him to eat in which he didn't hesitate to begin eating. Ruby didn't either she had picked up her fork and knife and cut into the Lasagna to begin eating, while getting a sip of her sweet red wine, just getting into her nice place and feeling happier or at least feeling a lot better when it comes to emotion.

Ruby had listened, she had described her family in which she had felt happy to hear that she had cared and raised her sister on her own, however she had felt a little upset that her mom and father weren't really necessarily there for her. However she had only felt a little bad to hear that her father had died wrongfully by what we can compare to in this world a player killer. Ruby had looked down and said to her "I am sorry to hear about your father, eventually my father had to retire because of old age, however thankfully they had enough money to live the way they had wanted to." Before long though she had finished off with saying that the main reason why she works so much is because of how she was like in the real world, Ruby had giggled and said "Well that certainly makes sense to why you work so much, for me to why I love clothing so much is I have the fondest memories of staying home with my mom and we would just make clothing all day, I enjoyed it, she enjoyed spending time with me as she had nothing really much better to do. It really kept the bond between us strong. Even as I grew older in my high school we would still spend time together making clothing, heck we made my prom dress." she had giggled.

Ruby had shook her head and said to her "No, I do need to thank you for taking time out of your day and staying with me, helping me, especially with the situation that I am currently in..." she had nervously let out a chuckle before feeling a little upset about the whole ordeal, being forced to needing to stay by Hestia in order just to stay safe at least for today. She had sighed and just shook her head just trying to stay optimistic about it all. She had looked back up to Hestia in which she had asked to move on from talking about quests, Ruby had let out a giggle and said "Well, tell me more about yourself then. Do you have any siblings? How was your parents? I can answer mine, and no I don't have any brothers or sisters I was born a only child, and my mother inspired me to want to do clothing, however my father worked a lot. He was hard working man that kept us in his mind and what pushed him forward everyday. And yes... they weren't too happy to find out that... well I'm a lesbian."

Ruby had giggled seeing Kuro extremely happy becoming the center of attention. However after a moment she had looked up to the waiter that had brought them both a ice water and glass of red wine that Ruby had wanted. Ruby had thanked her for the drinks and waited for Hestia to finish speaking, once she had finished speaking Ruby had spoke up and said "And I would like a lasagna." she ha smiled. After she had wrote all the meals and said she would be back with their meals, Ruby's attention had shifted back towards Hestia as she had optimistically spoke out to her, Ruby had giggled and said "I wouldn't be able to easily kick its butt without you here. I probably would had found myself dying in probably more than one way of dying without you being here for me. So thank you Ember." she had smiled warmly.

After a moment of thinking she had said that she would just like something simple, however something Meaty for Kuro. Ruby had looked down to look at Kuro, with a smile she had leaned down to give him a few pets on the head before saying "Well the most simplest meal you can get is Spaghetti with Meatballs, you cannot get literally any simpler than that... and for your little buddy, I don't know one that could be good for him, however if you order a Meatball meal its different. Typically Meatballs in Spaghetti are bitesize... however ordering actual Meatballs they come much bigger in size, so maybe this little guy will enjoy that, does that sound good to you?" she had finished with asking a question to Kuro before petting him and playing with him as if he was a dog in her home. Looking back up she had described that she was only going to be useful in one way and that was going to be in thorns damage, Ruby had nodded her head and with a smile she had said "At least you can do something, and thats all I could ask is a little bit of help."

Ruby's eyes had widened a little bit when Hestia had began to speak, she had blinked a few times when she had finished with the only thing that came to her mind was "Has she never enjoyed life?" however before long she had said out to her "Well, a lot of Italian Food have a lot in common however I don't know what you would enjoy. Would you enjoy something more simple, one that has Sauce being the star of the dish? One being more meaty?" she had wanted to know how she wanted it before making a decision for her to get. However after a moment she had asked out what quest she would like to do first, then had gave a suggestion in which Ruby had nodded her head and said out "I am fine doing the Wind Wasp first then to go take down the Sand Shark, or at least their evolutionary forms. I had already taken down their base forms... I don't need to kill the base forms all over again." she had let out a giggle.

Ruby had walked inside the restaurant alongside Hestia, she had looked around and it had been a nice looking place... however she was looking to see if any one of "them" were present in the restaurant like some sort of stalker. However looking around she didn't necessarily see any one of the four men that were in the group, however one couldn't even be present here. Not noticing Hestia she had looked forward to see that she had moved forward "H-hey wait up!" she had said out following up behind catching up with her. However after a moment she had brought them to a booth table, Ruby taking a seat in front of Hestia and with a polite tone she had said that she would get them water, Ruby had nodded her head and said "Actually if you can get a sweet red wine I would appreciate that with water." with a smile. She had looked forward at Hestia in which she had been looking at the menu, however Ruby doesn't need to. She already knows what she wants to get.
