Ruby

It had certainly been a while since Ruby had done an update of her equipment, ever since she had hit Tier 3... she had kind of struggled to pay for most of the things that she had needed, however after a bit of work she had gotten the resources that she needed to pay for all the things that she needed. The first stop was Macradon's in which she had gotten her Gauntlets, now she just needed to find a tailor to make her some Armor so to speak. However... trying to find a Tailor was going to be a task all in itself as it is pretty rare nowadays to find a good tailor, but then... she had remembered meeting a tailor a long time ago back on the fourth floor. Ruby had remembered him so she figured that maybe he could help her out again, stepping into his store Ruby had said out to him with a smile "Hey, nice to see you again. I need a update on some Light Armor, you think you could be able to do so? I'm payin'" she had placed the order form on the desk and paid the respected amount of Materials as payment.

Ruby had let out a hum following behind Jomei as he had followed the sound of the screech, and after a moment a burst of fire had shot out and hit the two of them, Jomei being more affected by the blast more so than Ruby. Ruby had looked up as he had shouted out in concern asking if she was alright, Ruby had grew a playful smile and placed her hand on her forehead being overly dramatic "I can see the light Jomei... im dying..." before giggling to say "Of course I'm alright ginger power." then before they had knew it the drakelings had appeared for actual combat Jomei taking one, it seemed like common sense for Ruby to handle the other. Ruby had moved forward and slammed her fist against the Drakeling's head dealing a good chunk of its HP in damage. Look back to Jomei after his statement she had said out "Well you know what they say, Drakelings comes in herds. If this is the power of all of them, it might get boring after a while."

Ruby had just took a deep breath, it just didn't really make sense to her in her mind... maybe she had been just denying the fact that things could be just that simple and not everything needed some sort of complex answer for why it is. Eventually Ruby had just brushed if off and accepted it as it was still following behind Hestia looking for a place for her to stay for the time being. After a bit of exploration, they had stumbled upon some sort of darkened cave and opening their map had seen to be pretty far away from any form of civilization or any form of town. It... certainly was better than nothing, and she had doubted the capabilities of her being found so easily here till shes green would be likely, the only thing she would need to get used to for a moment is the fact it would be so hot, guess swimsuits are good for a lot of things. "Guess I'll have to stay here, not the most comforting, but at least it gets me out of sight and out of mind. Thanks again." she had hugged her then parted ways for her to remain safe.

Ruby had looked towards Macradon with a somewhat playful look after he had said no problem and there was no need to sit Ruby then said to him "What kind of girl do you play me out to be? Plus you got a more than a handful of people to get to. I'll take a seat and wait till its done" she had giggled then moved towards a chair and sat there waiting patiently for her gauntlets to be done. She had mainly went through her messages and rereading them to have something to pass by the time, however it didn't take too much time before the item had been ready for pickup. Ruby stood up and walked towards her item taking it into her inventory "Thanks again handsome~" she winked and left the building.

Ruby had simple crossed her arms at the comment of the chance of rain, it wasn't like it was going to ruin her hair or clothing, its just Ruby got real grumpy about it as she doesn't like being rained on or being cold. Ruby had just followed up behind Hestia and Jomei being a little more grumpier than usual. However the cheerful comment on the little ones face was enough to get her to roll her eyes, but she was cute for her age so she was willing to give her a pass. Before long though Jomei had turned his back to ask them how they were holding up along with the group they were in, Ruby had blinked her eyes and said to him "As long as no one makes any dumb moves we all should be fine, however if we do fight the guy we are at the mercy of him picking and choosing how he attacks us." then said to him with a bit of a grumpy expression "How do you think I am holding up?"

Ruby as she had been pulled up she had brushed off all the dirt and dust that had gotten onto her outfit then looked back at Hestia before nodding her head and following up behind her. For a while the two had just walked through the vast deserts without saying much, and after sometime and not seeing a place where she could stay... Ruby tried to think of something to say to simply break the silence and get something to talk about as they had walked, or at least for the duration till they find the location where Ruby could stay out of sight. Ruby had thought of the words she had wanted to say then with a breathe she had asked out to her "Say... Ember." she used her real name instead of her virtual name "Why... did you even waste all that time on me anyways? Why do you see me the way you do? I simply... just don't get it."

"Oh man." Ruby had said out in a bit of a whisper, it had been a moment since she had seen much other people... the last time she could remember being around a lot of people was the Halloween event not too long ago, however even then it had been months ago. As Lessa and Aereth had finished speaking, people had began to separate into teams. Ruby had looked around and smiled moving behind Jomei placing her hands on his shoulders saying out to him "Well hey there Handsome you come here often?" she had said in a bit of a giggle "It's been a minute since I've last seen you, plus I have returned to my normal self as you can see." then she had looked up to Lessa and introduced herself "Hey there cutie, I'd like to join you. Sound's fun yet dangerous at the same time!" she had giggled.

Ruby had taken a deep breath, her self defense "punishment" had passed and she had became moderatly normal again, Ruby during that time period had dyed her hair color back to blonde and she had fixed the length of her hair with the help of some vanity items in the game. Ruby had felt more herself now that it has all said and passed and she felt a bit more... free. However, she did need to update a bit of her gear as her handwraps were terribly outdated at least for someone of her level and she really needed to get it fixed up. However... this time around she felt like she could reward herself with Gauntlets this time around making her feel a bit more... empowered. And she really didn't know any other place to go other than Macradon, she was a little bit aware of him but never fully met him. She went to his store to order the Gauntlets that she had been wanting, Ruby had looked him in the eye and said "Hey, I need a new pair of gauntlets straight damage, think you can do it?" and handed him the proper payment.

Ruby had listened to Hestia and looked down for a bit, having her look over her as she had that crystal would be nice, however... she isn't to big on the idea for a few reasons, one she doesn't want to feel like she needs to be babysit over all that's happened, second she felt like even if there was some sort of family connection that it would be too much work, and third having another female around her while she sleeps doesn't sound... appropriate. Ruby had simply just looked up and said to her "I-it just seems like a lot of work put on top of me that you are doing don't you think? I mean you've helped me enough... and... I am sure I think I could live till the orange cursor wears off... at least I hope..." then she had looked down but as she had done so Hestia had offered her a hand and realized it had been just a act of self defense then saying to take her to a place she could be. Ruby had looked down and grabbed her hand and said "I just need a place to hide for a bit of time.."

Ruby had looked up towards Hestia as she had tried to make her feel better, while this isn't a perminate orange crystal and just a temporary one, she just felt very upset that she had been forced to take that route. Ruby had just tried to grow a smile, however she wasn't too successful on her own, however her familiar Kuro had managed to make it a success. "Alright alright buddy, I'm fine." she had exclaimed giving her familiar a few pets. Ruby had rubbed her wet eyes with her forearm and looked towards Hestia and asked out to her "I don't know where to go, I don't know many places here on the fifth floor for a orange player to hide off for a little bit. Also... you don't hate me for turning orange?" she had figured it was a dumb question for her to ask, however the first portion was true, she just had no idea where to go now that she couldn't enter the main settlement just to get back to her actual home, and getting to every boss room to find the staircases to get there seems like a bit of a waste of time or would take too long.

The man had looked more and more angered as he had tried to attack Hestia, however he wasn't fully doing anything much towards her, the man had said out to her "I'll kill you... I'll... I'll..." he had grown more frustrated as he knew that this wasn't going to be a battle and looking over towards Ruby he had seen her hit one of his men square in the jaw and herself going orange, his eyes twitched a little bit... even she had grown much stronger than he had originally anticipated. He had looked back forward and said out "This isn't over, I will grow. Much stronger than all of you. And when I do... I will find you... and I will kill you and everyone in your guild. This is not the end." he had reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a teleportation crystal yelling out "Men! We're beat, time to retreat." he said then yelling out the teleport command along with all of his men. Ruby afterward had fell to her knees in the sand and looked down upon herself knowing she took the risk and became orange, sure it was only for a short time and it was in self defense... but, she doesn't feel good as a result of it.

The man's cutlass had connected with her Shield, the man had grown a bit angered as he barked out "You!? Create a jail system? Don't make me laugh, let me and my conrades burn that all to the ground. You lack a sense of reality, all you do is have high hopes that you could never succeed." he growled and attempted to attack again. His men moving forward to stop her familiar if need be, two others trying to confront Ruby. Ruby had backed up a bit and readied her own fists to strike back, the men had laughed and said out to her "Aww, she knows Martial Arts, well there is only two outcomes here strike us first and go orange, or let us win." they had chuckled a bit. Ruby had looked back to Hestia and looked back to the two men trying to confront her, Ruby had been a bit scared, however gaining her confidence Hestia tried to grow onto her, Ruby had smiled and said "Eh, its only for a short time. F**k it, you all don't scare me anymore.." she had moved forward and slammed her fist against one of the men with All Might, she may of turned orange in this action, but hopefully she wont be forced to kill to stay orange.

The man had looked towards Hestia with a bit of a angered look and said to her aimlessly arguing "You dare step in front of us again, well then I can't say I am surprised. You talk a lot of bite but you never actually do a thing. All you are is a wall that helped that woman whos only good at one thing to remove a track." he had reached for his Cutlass and quickly removed it moving it to Hestia's throat saying out to her "I am only going to say this once, you will not be successful throwing us in jail. You got nothing on us, no proof that we had done anything wrong. Well, at least not yet. However you wont be alive to share that sort of tale." he had smirked a bit as he moved the sword away and looked like he was preparing a attack against Hestia "All you are is talk but no bite, die woman. May you die with a false sense of how this world works!" then with a movement he had unleashed his attack raising his sword into the air trying to slash down onto Hestia.

Ruby after a moment had simply exhaled a deep breath and when and found a seat to sit at, she had already seen enough action of the people in her friends list already and would only imagine that the majority of them had been busy. However this was fine, Ruby knew she could be productive on her own, or at least she could meet someone friendly enough to help her get something done today... however she could only hope for someone that wouldn't endlessly flirt with her, or at least one of those creepy males. After a moment she had moved her arms back puffing her chest forward relaxing as she had sat on the bench looking around, majority of the people that she had seen was NPC's as the higher the floors went the lower floors had just seen less and less real people and the crowd or what little it may be is just NPC's, however she isn't complaining as they aren't designed or coded to flirt or mess with Ruby.

Ruby had giggled a bit at her response however replied to her "Aw, are you saying you don't want a kiss from someone as cute as me?" she had teased her, however she knew that she was in a relationship she had just been teasing all for good fun. Ruby had simply smiled and followed up behind her, however it was a bit of time before she had seen her have her shield on her hand, Ruby had blinked for a moment then looked around seeing if there had been something there. After a moment she had seen the group of people, Ruby had let out a sigh as she thought she had finally got safe from them they just was one step ahead of the both of them. It wasn't long for the leader to step forward and yell out "Where do you all think you are going?" she had growled. "Ruby you scared sl**, first you run from your fate and seduce a girl while crying trying to stop us from tracking you. Well, its the end of the line now, either you come with us or you will die by our hands today."

Ruby had giggled and said out to her "Aw, no need to thank me, just a small thing to give to you for helping me through this predicament that I am in." she had moved forward and pulled Hestia in for a hug "You spent a good amount of time to help me get all this Skill Points that I need to get some skills. And for that I thank you dearly, I could kiss you on the cheek, but I already have done that once and I don't think you would want to get another one from me anyways." she had giggled as she had let go of her. Looking around at the desert area as she had opened her lists to finish the stealth and mod that she needs to be protected from them she had thought and said "I guess we should head back to the main settlement? I am not too sure what else we could do around here." she had taken a deep breath not hearing or seeing the figures approaching behind her.

Ruby had blinked a few times as she had spaced out for a bit, she doesn't know what she had spaced out into however she had returned back into reality as she had seen the combat still in action. Ruby had shook her head and said out to her "Wait! Wait! I am here! Sorry just got extremely lost in thought..." she had moved forward charging her hands again preparing a sword art to be unleashed upon it. She had looked upon the Sand Shark and punched it right in its face with her typical sword art "All Might" like she had done so before this time landing yet again another critical hit upon it. However after the crit had came, the monster had let out one final roar as it saw the last of its days and it had fallen over and exploded into pieces. Ruby had looked at the final hit bonus that she had received and walked over to Hestia offering it to her "I think this belongs to you."

Ruby had seen that he had looked like he had something in mind to tell her, maybe it was something she said? She wasn't fully aware of what it fully it could be, she was extremely happy for the two after all, she doesn't know what she could of said to do it. However eventually he said to just go, Ruby had frowned a bit but shrugged it off "Alright, lead the way Robin Hood." she had tried to put forward a joke, however she had just continued to follow behind him. He had remained a bit silent, Ruby had kept a bit of a frown upon her face, again she just really didn't think that she said anything to really cause this, however its whatever year... anything could happen. However after a moment they had made their way into the dark mines and they had heard of a shriek bouncing off of the cavern walls creating a echo in which Jomei had took immediate action, Ruby had placed a hand on her hip and said out to him with a playful smile "Well, if I was a guessing girl I'd say that was the noise of a monster in the cavern. What? Are you Scared?" she had giggled.

Ruby simply put just had nothing else really to input on the matter, she simply was hear to show up and do her job, she simply had stayed seated and watch those talk amongst each other waiting for her to be placed somewhere, however after a moment she had spoken out and said "I feel as though we are taking... a bit too long in this meeting. Can we please figure out the order of which we all will be placed? I don't care where you put me, all I can really do is simple damage and heal." she had said what she needed to say and took her seat once again. She had took a deep breath as she had was a bit worried about this battle as she had almost died in the previous boss battle... however, hopefully things would turn out better this time around and hopefully she wont be so close to death as she had been before. And after a bit Baldur had stepped forward about her placement, Ruby had just said out with a smile "If that is were I am needed then I shall be there."

Ruby moaned and groaned as she had tossed and turned in her bed, she had been mostly been lazy nowadays, especially after nearly dying in the last boss. She had felt like she had deserved to be a little lazy, however today she didn't expect the meeting to happen so soon. Opening her eyes after waking up, she had got a little worried and immediately got out of bed "Ah sh*t. I am late... although its a bit sudden, I really need to stop sleeping in this late..." she had thought to herself as she had equipped her clothing and getting her together and presentable. After a moment she had called for her familiar and she was out to the location in question, even though she was going to arrive late. It took her a while to find exactly where she was going however she got on track and found herself to the location opening the doors exclaiming out "Sorry I am fashionably late... you should give warning before meetings happen..."
