  1. Zenshu seemed to be having trouble properly explaining that there was a bright side to this. Krysta appreciated the player's effort, but in the end, well-made game or not, the players were still at war with its monsters and creator. This was the reality. Unwilling to pressure this, however, she would let it go for the time being. Zenshu accepted Krysta's offer to assist, becoming rather excited upon the idea. He also remarked about the benefits of forming parties, as well as the potential information he could learn, not to mention his intention to reach the front lines. "The front lines?
  2. It had been quite some time since Vigilon and Krysta had been to the sixteenth floor of Aincrad. The thought of returning there brought memories of the day where one player orchestrated a large event for the playerbase. Perhaps it might be a fair idea to see if they still live on the floor after all this time? For the time being, Krysta checked her gear, as to make sure she was prepared for the exploration phase of this trip. The twenty-fourth floor was more popular among players for the guaranteed safe zone along its beaches, but if there was an area of this floor with similar properties
  3. The player would bow slightly while averting his eyes, as though the situation had become awkward. He explained how this was his first time to the fifth floor, and that the opportunities within this market may prove beneficial to his crafts as a tailor. Before Krysta could respond, the player spoke again, claiming that he was here to handle a quest, which seemed to entail that he may have been on the verge of sidetracking. With that, he would get up from his bow and introduce himself as Zenshu. Krysta made a mental note of how Zenshu's eyes never met hers, but this could have easily
  4. Quite a few memories were made on this desert floor...such a shame that very few of them were pleasant. So much had prevented Krysta from properly exploring the fifth floor of Aincrad, so it was time she return to this sand-covered floor, that she may find something worth doing. It was very likely that much would have changed after that black storm that was followed by the literal transformation of this virtual prison in its entirety. Arriving in the safe zone, at the teleport gate, Krysta would first take a short walk to look around to see if there were any immediate signs of any drastic
  5. Luminous Linens Within the grand city of Taft, among several other structures near its market, there is a building that seems to stand out somewhat. One can find evidence of a player's presence just by looking at its front. In front of its two windows are planters with Amaryllis, Anthurium, and Lilacs growing within. Above the door is a sign that reads, "Luminous Linens", allowing any passerby to identify it as a tailor shop. If someone were to enter, they would find themselves within a well-kept, somewhat extravagant interior. The windows were large enough to let
  6. The door would open, and a woman in a tracksuit would greet Krysta, letting her know that the Host was missing for the moment, but also letting her in. However, said host quickly returned, making an attempt at a curtsy. The meaning was just able to get across to Krysta though, so Krysta would curtsy as well. The host would introduce herself as Nari-Lanreth, and state that there were refreshments out, as well as a few players present. She then introduced the woman in the tracksuit as NIGHT, stating that said woman was her Companion, as she seemed to claim. She also introduced her to a Ginger na
  7. No one Krysta knew seemed to have any plans for the next day. Perhaps the consistent need to train had taken its toll on the players she knew? Whatever the case, she simply stood and stared at the message. It could not have possibly been Krysta's first choice as to how she would deal with the lack of plans...but it was certainly an option, since there was indeed nothing else to do. Even Vigilon was busy, somewhere in Aincrad, helping out another player or two, although, based on what other messages she'd received, it seemed to take longer than a single day. Day of the Celebration:
  8. Cleo remarked that the two players seemed to be naturals at this profession. This was a game, so there was a chance that the system had simplified the process. Not only that, but Krysta had experience from her past, she had made garments before, though there were often simple yet elegant. Extravagant apparel was something Krysta had yet to tackle in terms of tailoring...but maybe the sight of those undeniably lovely gowns during the demonstration might be enough to encourage the young noble to expand the horizons of her new profession. Cleo brought her hand towards Krysta for a high five,
  9. Krysta drew her blade, it was now her turn to pitch in to the fight with a more offensive course of action. With herself and five allies under the effects of her barrier, the players stood a fair chance at surviving any swarming assaults. Vigilon, Baldur, and Calrex all took action to dispatch the enemy's Elite Guards. While there were more elite foes attempting to guard the Tyrant, their focus was on the Blunet. This was Krysta's chance. She began with Celestial Sweep while the guards' were distracted, Holy Energy arced across the blade as she struck the third one. A flash of light as she use
  10. Having broken through the enemy's blockade, Krysta would make her way through the interior of the ship. An occasional soldier would meet his end at Krysta's blade, but so far, it seemed that most of the enemies had assembled themselves in the breaches, which made sense. As she pressed forward, however, she would soon collide with a familiar face. The redheaded pirate from earlier. the two began to untangle their limbs from this...uncomfortable position, not only because they both had matters to attend to, but because the physical contact was quite unnerving. ...But perhaps Krysta should b
  11. Name: White Cloak Your Profession: Tailor(Quest) Your Rank: 1 Roll ID: 205731 Roll Result: 10 Item Type: Clothing Tier: 1 Quality: Uncommon Enhancements: Loot Die Description: A simple yet comfortable white cloak. Perhaps it may bring its wearer some luck? Post Link: https://www.sao-rpg.com/topic/21313-pp-f1-the-art-of-tailoring/?do=findComment&comment=650685
  12. Once she reached the safe zone, Krysta took a quick moment to exchange the tusk she'd obtained for a much more usable fabric. Once that was taken care of, the two players made their way back to the NPC's shop. Cleo opened the door and held it open for Krysta. "Ah, thank you." Krysta said with a smile to the player for her act of kindness. The NPC, Richard Textillion, was behind the counter, tending to a wondrous gown, green in color. Krysta somehow found herself staring, and she was also fairly tempted to ask the NPC if he had such a dress within his stock that was white in color, but Krysta r
  13. "I do hope that you jest," Krysta said in response to Cleo's words. "I would rather not find myself in a scenario where one tried to murder another within the safe zone, not that it would succeed." Cleo suggested heading back, and Krysta did not hesitate to agree. "Certainly. At least out on the open wilds of Aincrad you can see something approaching, rather than overgrown riverbanks where something could easily be hiding within." She remarked. As the players started to head back to the Starting City, Krysta happened to spot more cotton. How did she not notice this here on the way to the
  14. Krysta was in need of one more material, but the issue was finding it before the game chose to spawn another dangerous monster. She could only hope that such a goal could be accomplished in time. Cleo agreed that the two players should retreat back to the safe zone once all of the required materials were gathered. She also noted that she would keep the incident under wraps, that the knowledge of her being flipped over by the beast to the point where the asymmetric skirt of her battledress had fallen in the wrong direction, would be considered confidential. Finally, Cleo asked if Krysta managed
  15. The NPCs that were onboard the airship would disembark as to assist in the assault. Seeing that all the players had also chosen to infiltrate the enemy's capital ship, this was to be expected. As the enemy Blockade completed formation, the Ginger player from earlier would land from above and begin fighting the soldiers from behind. This surprise back attack would catch several enemies off guard, and Vigilon took the opportunity to strike where they were weak on his end. Krysta rushed in to strike down four of the shielded soldiers. Two were slain, and two were knocked to the walls. T
  16. Cleo called out from her cover, asking Krysta if she was alright. "So far, I remain unharmed." She answered. The boar would begin to turn around to face Krysta. Krysta would set herself right and get back up, before readying her sword art and striking down her foe. The battle-hardened monster let out a shrill, final squeal. It was almost at an ear-piercing pitch, but as the sound continued, it lessened in intensity until it diminished entirely, as the beast fell down before it shattered. Despite this creature being a battle-hardened, perhaps entirely malevolent beast, this monster turned
  17. Krysta's priority for this was to end without any real problems. If Krysta could get something worthwhile from this monster upon killing it, it would be a fair compensation for having had to fight it in the first place. Tension rose as both Krysta and the monstrous boar slowly walked towards the side, circling around the general area as each waited for the other to make a move. Soon, Krysta moved in to strike. She rushed towards the monster, and the boar moved its tusks in position, and when Krysta reached the monster, it attempted to disarm her. Krysta held on to her weapon rather tightly, an
  18. As each player began dealing with the garrison and the barricading soldiers among them, it would seem that the enemy forces behind the shielded soldiers were attempting to regroup as to fend off the players. Krysta had to look for a way to clear a path for her allies. Vigilon seemed focused on one portion of the garrison forces, but unlike solid objects, groups of soldiers could more easily cover weaknesses and attempt to bolster themselves where needed. Then came the arrival of an airship in the bay. Krysta turned to see a few players disembarking. Perhaps unexpected reinforcements had a
