  1.  “Horunka, that’s… that’s outside of the safe zone.” Her footsteps fell silent as she came to a stop realising where Paglikha was taking her. “We’ll be killed.” She said bluntly as she looked at her quest partner. “You reall-“ Too late, Paglikha had already stepped outside of the safe zone and began to weave his way through the boars to the forest. Gulping, Kaiida clenched and unclenched her hands, her legs trembling, eyes glazed over. “You’ll do great.” The words echoed through her mind as she shook her head snapping out of her brief reverie.

“Thanks Chibi…” She muttered to herself before braving the chance of death. She rushed outside following the exact route that Paglikha had taken. “Wait for me!” She called kicking off the ground as she stumbled towards him. Tufts of grass and herbs had become increasingly common as she made her way forwards. At one point there was a good distance between her and any boar, kneeling down Kaiida begins to rummage around the foliage for some herbs. Managing to find them she picks them up and pops them in her pack. “Four to go…” She whispers before running over and joining Paglikha. “Sorry about that.”

  2. “Pinball?” Kaiida said the name back to the person, who seem quite happily sat here chatting with her in the basement of a tavern. “Pin? What about PB, I’m going to go with PB.” She smiled at him as her eyes met his properly for the first time, she swallowed for a moment before pushing herself back creating some space between them. Standing she moves to the bed, “This is the room I’ve been staying in since the game started.” She says as she sits down looking at her feet, her chest rising and falling slowly.

A small smile, a sweet smile, comes onto her lips as she looks over at Pinball. “It sounds like you get into trouble like this a lot, reminds me of before the game…”  Water starts to well up at the bottom of Kaiida’s eyes, raising a hand she wipes them clear on the back of her sleeve. “Sorry I got you confused for someone else earlier PB.  Hope you can forgive me for that, more importantly who’s Sugutsuya?”

  3. As Benjamin was explaining the different professions to her Kaiida began to drum her fingers on the table, staring off towards the bottles at the back of the bar.  The white haired girl stood up, and walks over nodding at the bar keep and grabs one of the bottles. It was labelled as Honey Juice. Snagging three glasses, one much shallower than the others, as well she makes her way back to the table, pouring the drinks as she does.

Sliding one towards Benjamin she smiles at him. "So I need to pick if I want regular and low income, or sporadic and high income. I'd imagine that when the frontliners want to do a boss fight then there's a lot more consumables needed." Pouring some of the honied liquid into the shallow dish, Kaiida pushes it towards Sebastian. "Here you go."

Herlips twitching with the hint of a smile before she clenches her hand. "Benjamin, what did you decide to take?" Her hand caresses her own glass before she takes a sip, her eyes opening wide for a moment before she takes another. "I honestly don't know what would be best for me." She fell silent, her finger scratching at the table again occasionally glancing at her the person who had decided to help her. "Why... Why are you helping me? It's because of my father isn't it. You want something from him!" She almost yells be downing the rest of her drink and pouring another one.

  4. “Sorry…” Kaiida was quiet the odd sob punctuating her silence, as she knelt on the dusty basement floor. “I thought for a moment you were…” Her breathing was short and quick as her right hand began to fly up and down at the wrist onto her knee. “I thought you were someone I knew, you look just like him…”

As the boy dropped to his knees telling her over and over that it will all be fine, Kaiida closed her eyes, her chest that was rising and falling at a rate of knots began to slow down. “Really? It will be fine?” Her eyes were bright red even in the dinginess of the room, “The shouting, the people chasing you, I’m sorry for just dragging you away…”

Turning her head so that she didn’t have to make eye contact she gripped the bottom of her green mottled shirt tightly. “Shishen, I’m sorry…” her voice a whisper, swallowing every five or so seconds. Eyes brimming again, “Sorry… I’m… I’m…” For a moment a fire sparked in her eyes, “Namida sort it out!” she almost screamed out herself. Shaking her head the white haired girl met the person in front of her eyes. “I’m Kaiida, apologies for you having to witness… That.” She held her hand out palm upwards, “They won’t be able to find us here, we can probably sneak out later on tonight…”

  5. “Really Chibi? It’s five each so a total of ten that Zakariah needs.” Kaiida had stopped moving and started to stand up straight, offering her hand out to Paglikha she smiles, a glint in her eye. “Do you know where we’ll need to go to gather the herbs at all?” she whispers to him before raising an arm in farewell to the NPC and leaving the shop.

Once she was outside Kaiida ran her fingernails of both hands down her cheeks. “Damn! Which way do we go? Oi Chibi, any ideas?” She calls turning around continuing to scratch for a moment before letting her arms fall to her side. She paused for several seconds wiping her eyes with her forefinger and thumb before looking back towards Paglika, sighing.

Shrugging, Kaiida walks off towards the entrance gate of the Town of Beginnings muttering to herself along the way, “Am I really okay doing this? After so long in this town…” She stopped just shy of the gate, “This thumping…” Looking down at her palm Kaiida opens and closes it several times. “Right, chibi you ready? Lead the way.”

  6. As the Vigilon was passed the menu the waitress reappeared, Kaiida spoke before she had chance to ask. “Strawberry Sundae please.” Turning to Krysta the waitress scribbled down Kaiida’s order before beaming at the blonde. “What can I get you miss?” Turning back to the familiars Kaiida waves a hand dismissively at the waitress, “They’ll order when they’re ready.” She states beckoning to Yolviinsil, “It’s okay, honestly I don’t bite cute things, just cuddle them” She turns her hand palm up and offered to the ruby dragon, as she looked from Vigilon to Krysta and back again.

Shuddering she swallows before speaking, “So… W-What are your names?” Kaiida had manage to slink further down into her seat, now eye level with the dragon whelping. The candle lit tables glinting off the gem-like eyes of the creature. “I’m Kaiida…” she whispers before softly tutting to the pearl white whelping that accompanied Vigilon. “Come on, I’m not that scary am I?”

  7. The scratching of nib on paper fell silent just as Kaiida let out a short, sharp breath. Looking up the girl spotted someone looking in a blue tartan scarf searching for someone or something called Sebastian. Suddenly a munching sound came by from by her right hand as Kaiida watched the person intently, maybe a bit more obviously than she had intended.  Eyes flicking down Kaiida grins as a rather large caterpillar has started eating her pad.

As she raised her hand out to stroke the caterpillar the boy in the blue scarf came over and grabbed  the bug. Kaiida laughed as the older boy began to blush, ”I wouldn’t  worry, it was just a list of the profession names, I was thinking of taking one.” Waving her hand dismissively she focused on the familiar, ripping some of the paper from the pad the girl balls it up and places it on the table. “I’m Kaiida, could use some help being honest, I’m not too sure what the different professions do… Despite being trapped in here along with everybody else, I’ve not really paid much attention.”

She finished her sentence, pulling her pad towards her with one hand and the chair with her other. “Did you want a drink?” Taking her pen up she writes out the name of the professions again, one eye keeping an eye on the furry green slug.

  8. Two years she had spent in this world. Two years fending for herself. Kaiida grimaced and shook slightly as she sat in her grungy tavern room, she had found this place early on and seen the comings and goings of many different players who had used it. Standing up she brushed herself off. “Namida! Sort yourself out. It’s time to get your own shop.” As the words fell out of her mouth, she realised that her chin was higher than usual, her shoulders back, her eyes clear of some fog. “Not sure what profession to take though…”

Rapping her knuckles on the door she shrugs before heading out of the room and up the stairs. Grabbing a drink from the bar and settling down at one of the many tables laid out for customers, the Inn was reasonably quiet at this moment in time, being just before the middle of the day. Taking a swig from her tankard Kaiida, takes a pen and paper from her inventory and writes the different professions down and some notes about what they might do. “Tapping the pen to the paper she began to muse out loud, “What I really need is someone to show me the ropes and what the different ones do, not to mention how to gather materials.”

  9. Pushing herself up as soon as he was off her, Kaiida then glared at the person, looking him up and down. She crossed her arms tapping her foot on the pavement, lips curling. “Hmmm, well-“ Her speech was cut short as some more shouting echoed up through the street, the blood curdling grin that was about to be formed changed to a beaming smile. “Shishen, let’s go!” Reaching out to grab Pinball’s hand as she dashes past, feeling something in her grasp she begins to pull, her feet pounded on the street as Kaiida slipped and turned through the alleyways all the while maintaining her grip. “Seriously Shishen, you don’t need to be sorry. We’ll get away like we always do.”

Skidding to a halt outside the Hogsback Inn, Kaiida goes straight to the door pushing it open and begins to wind her way through the tables, nodding at the innkeeper as she goes behind the bar. Padding down the stairs that led to the basement she lets go of what she had in her hand and enters the room. “We should be safe here Shi, now…” Her voice trailed off, “No you’re not Shishen…” Falling to her knees several tears begin to fall out of her eyes, “I’m sorry…”

    OC Note!

Kaiida's grabbed something, she's aiming for Pinball's hand but if you don't want her to grab your hand she'll have grabbed some random object instead, but she's not looked to see the object yet so it's entirely up to you. :)

  10. Shouting could be heard by Kaiida to her right, her ears twitching slightly. Turning she felt something crash into her barrelling her over, the word watch was called out split seconds before the moment of impact and the girl didn't know what was happening to her. As she landed on her shoulder a small cry escaped her lips, the solid stone slabs set into the ground rushing up to meet her as her face neared it by the second.

Gasping she placed both hands on the floor and began to push herself up, for some reason however she was unable to. Something popped up in front of her face saying that she was over her weight limit. "What?! That can't be right!" Kaiida exclaims as she attempts to roll over to see what's on top of her. Two legs were squirming and flailing around in the air, the head of the person they belonged to had crashed into the ground leaving a small dent in the stonework.

"Will you get off of me!!!" She shouts attempting to shove the boy off her, "What the hell do you think you were doing?! Running around like that, what if this wasn't a safe zone, we could both be dead!" Her face was going red her body was shaking, only partly from the effort of trying to push this kid off her.

  11. The tingle of a bell sounds behind her, glancing over her shoulder the tussled black hair bobs towards her and the NPC she was talking to. A hand reaches out and grasps Zakaariah’s in front of her, Kaiida’s eyes go wide for a moment, her lips thinning. “Excuse me!” She moves her foot backward, so she is looking at the boy. Her eyes dropping slightly as she meets his eyes her lips turning into a smile. “I believe that hand was for me, chibi. At least you have some respect though.” She takes a couple of steps back resting her hands on the counter top. “I’m Kaiida, or Miss Kaiida to you, chibi.”

“So Zakariah was it? How many herbs do you need?” Her knuckles were slowly turning white as she gripped the wooden surface her breathing slow and long, her foot began tapping as she waited for an answer. The old man held up a hand with all four fingers and his thumb extended. “I need five, it shouldn’t be too hard, however it is five from each of you I need.”

  12. Two people had entered the café, Kaiida narrowed her eyes taking them in, a brown-haired boy in a jacket and platinum blonde girl. Briefly making eye contact Kaiida shrunk slightly in her chair, her shoulders coming towards each other and her head dropping to look at the table. Tracing several marks on the table she gets her fingernail stuck in one and begins picking at it as the male voice began to speak to her. A couple of seconds go by as the white-haired girl continues to pick at the table, her tongue starting to poke slightly out of her mouth, then her eyes flutter shut. She smiles before looking at the boy. “Sure, sit if you want, I was just about to order.”

Raising her arm, Kaiida snaps her fingers twice in succession before pushing the menu over to the couple. Streaks of red and white catching her eye, “Are they familiars?” the girl came out with the hand that had just clicked at the waitress now drummed on the table. “They’re cute, especially the red one.” Not making eye contact Kaiida purely focuses on the feathered dragon that was clearly nervous, holding her free hand out towards it she rubs her fingers together “I won’t bite, would you like some fuss?”

  13. Kaiida sat on a bench within the Town of Beginnings, drumming her fingers on the wood as she idly flicked through her menu. Somehow she had managed to survive so long without leaving starting city, the wind was chilly through the rips in her clothes. Stopping on her inventory she selects her weapon, the blade wrapped in cloth appear on her lap in multicoloured pixels. Kaiida’s eyes were wide as she gently prodded the weapon with her finger, “Despite all the training I did in the real world…” Her words fell away as another gust of wind whipped through the street she was sat in.

She swiped the menu across, biting her lip as her finger hovered over the button to return the weapon the ether. Several seconds went by before she pressed the button a small but audible sigh escaped her lips, her hand dropping as she tilts her head back looking skywards. The sigh slowly changed into a small chuckle and then a full laugh. “What are you like Kaiida, what are you like?” She mutters to herself before standing up and looking around noticing a few players around her. Her finger went up and entwined itself in a strand of hair as she tapped her foot on the paved floor.

  14. Adjusting her headband, the young girl glanced down at her wrist, “Tch! I really should start actually doing something rather than just hiding here. I wonder what Daddy would do if he were in my place…” Her voice trailed off as she wondered around the Town of Beginnings, her right hand interlocked with a strand of hair. In front of her a quest marker was showing, her eyes narrowed as she left go of the silvery lock before gently biting her knuckle. Taking a breath in Kaiida closed her eyes before walking towards the old man, raising a hand in greeting. “Hi Gramps, what do you need help with?” She asks the words escaping her mouth before she had a chance to reel them in.

A white wispy eyebrow raised for a moment, before a soft chuckle escaped his lips. “Gramps? Well now I don’t know if I’d be your grandpa little lady” Setting down the knife he had been using to chop a several herbs the older man settled into his chair, “But I can definitely use the help, my name’s Zakariah and I’ve been running low on herbs for making my potions would you be able to go and gather some for me?” Raising a hand in offer of a hand shake a warm smile spreads on Zakariah's lips.

  15. The streets stretched out around Kaiida as she walked through them, her hand reaching up to her head taking a few strands of hair and twirling them around her finger gently pulling on them. Letting out a sigh the teenager looked around at where she was. In the south eastern side of the town with several cafés and taverns towering over her, one had a sign depicting a giant boar with a beer settled on its back swinging outside of it. Glancing across from it there appeared to be a desert shop with quite a few people in it.

Laying her hand on the door to the café the white-haired girl enters a small smile on her face. An NPC comes up to her waving her hand greeting Kaiida. “Welcome to the Starlight Café! Is it just yourself?” Slowly she nods before following the NPC as a menu was placed on a table in the corner, clearly meant for more than one person. As she flicked through the menu her tongue licked her lips periodically, a small growl came from her stomach as her eyes rested on one desert in particular. A strawberry sundae. A small chime comes from the door Kaiida glances up for a moment before focusing back on the menu, tapping her foot as she waits for the waitress to come back to her.
