  1. The Dragon seemed to really try to avoid any of our attack Like it knew the moment my spear would touch it, it would explode... But I looked at my armour and smiled a bit. "Avoiding my attack only gonna make this more painful," Shion said as she saw her moment to strike and as soon as the dragon landed again Shion saw her change. As she took her feet off the ground she took of and with a lot of speed just disappeared to the dragon only to miss YET again. But you could see her momentum build up more and more. to the point where her spear seemed to give off a small red glow. She looked at Ben giving him a sign to follow in with an attack and see if maybe one of them can hit this dragon as Shion was keeping her spear up high.

  2. She smiled for a bit looking at the menu and nodded, she called over a waiter who seemed to be there quite fast to take her order. She ordered a cub of mustered soup first then as the next item of food a beef steak well done, with fries and lastly but not least a cub of hot chocolate, because why not it seemed nice. She waited for a bit as she opened her menu to look at her friend list. not many people were in it but the few that were didn't seem to message her for important things. She looked closely looking at a few names, Koga, Baldur, Calrex. Most of these names are just contacts to her but she felt like some of these were friends. Koga seemed to not react to her messages but it seemed a bit off tho but for now, she let is slip. Before she could finish her thought of mind her food was served to her and she started to eat away.

  3. Walking around for a bit she looked around for a place to get something to eat, it was not that hard but most places sold somethings like meats and themed items. But right now Shion wanted to have a great meal both in meat, greens and maybe even soup. it took her a few minutes to look around until she found a place that spoke to her. It was a nice and calm almost German old west European style building. Entering she could feel the warmth of the place and she looked around. The place seemed to have a hearth as well as some tables and chairs around it. Not many people seemed to be here and Shion took her place in the store, sitting down she looked at the menu and smiled. It was a wide range of all kinds of food, from fries to steak and Chinese food to typical American food. She looked in it like she was in some sort of heaven.

  4. It was a nice thought for sure, exploring things but then she remembered why she stopped exploring and why she wanted to be stronger. That day is still quite clear to her, That day her old party members died because she made some calculations wrong. Not only that but as well that she got them killed so fast and she just got out barely. How did she getaway, it was a cruel fact that she could not get away from, but she needed to keep moving? As she was thinking of this her stomach started to growl as well, she looked down and held her stomach. Guess it was time to get something to eat soon. She held her stomach for a bit and looked around for anything that seemed to be a place she could get some food And not only that what Kind of food as well. Maybe something nice and warm after this fight something to warm up with like, maybe a nice soup or something.

  5. It was good to be with someone Shion trusted more than herself, It was even better than this guy, Koga was a friend in her eyes. Sure she could be harsh, mean and straightforward but there was and is deep inside her a spot for softness, weakness even. It was good to be at his side again and Shion felt good being so as well. Koga's comment on the monkey king resurrecting and doing going for a second round made Shion grin a bit. "Let's hope he doesn't have a katana stuck inside him, and as soon as we take our eyes of his dead body he starts swinging it around at us." She said thinking of any worse moments that could happen. But the game would not be that unfair or at least she hoped it would not be that unfair.

    Shion sighed and looked at Koga with a surprisingly warm smile, "It's good to have a friend like you back at my side, It been a while and I guess I got stuck myself as well. I think we are not that far away from levels anymore seeing as I'm right now level 44." She said to him, but it was clear she did not sit completely ideal as her armour has changed quite a bit and as well that she was rocking a whole new weapon as well.

  6. "No worry, It's just a fast oversized lizard, we can take it down without a problem. Plus this stupid thing can't even damage me," She said sounding proud and more uplifted as she held her spear high against the dragons own skin to make sure it was going to focus on her. Once the Dragon tried to bite down on her, did she see the change to take her spear and go for her own attack right for its neck. But as soon as Shion got close to the dragon he flew up pushing her spear away with the wind a bit before landing again completely wasting her attack on it. "You OVERSIZED LIZARD!!! Stand still for one second!" She said holding her spear so close to the dragon that is had not a chance in attacking her at all. "Ben! if you can attack it from the side, it seemed to lift his head first before trying to dodge our attacks!" She said pointing with one hand to the back legs go the dragon.

  7. Shion was waiting for a response but it seemed like Koga didn't plan to answer it. He even seemed to be a bit down, like Shion did something bad. Well, she would not know what she did as Koga walked passed her asking to come. And so she did. She walked next to him before she punched him in the shoulder, and if the pain was a thing surely Koga would get a brush sooner or later from her punch "That is for not responding to my messages you dumbass. Now let's dethrone ourselves a monkey king," She said sounding like her normal calm and collected self.

    Walking on Koga's right while holding her glaive in her opposite of Koga she looked at the map, Koga never really seen Shion in less than the armour she had before. and now she was wearing a completely different armour. Her old green armour now a white and gold with some red accents shined powerful. "According to my information I have the boss is found in a cave past the river... Weird place for a monkey to sit but I can see that in the trees it would be easily spotted and hunted down more," Shion seemed to be in her normal aura of planning and mapping, taking in all possibilities on how this quest would go.

    @Koga

  8. It was really a surprise for Shion to even see Koga here, Let alone bump into him so carelessly. She was ready to bombard him with anything she had in her arsenal. But she felt like he was going into a lot of his own. She tried her best not to let him know how much she wanted to punch him right now, "You Know, leave that for now, you can explain later no need to push. And what I'm doing... well as always hunting down those pesky field bosses. Today's menu, A monkey king. Wanna help me dethrone him?" She asked him sounding a bit angry but also just like her normal calm and collected self. Before anything, Shion wanted to know some other things before she took Koga with her, She was really holding back to not punch him. "Quick question, however, how are you... Like I mean ... sorry if it sounds weird that I'm asking this but How are you doing," She asked him sounding a bit low and generally seemed to care. Sure she never really showed much care for people even if she did it was mostly cold and harsh. And not only that her voice seems to be softer than normal really showing her worries for the first time in forever.

    Here we go again, hunting down these field bosses was getting a bit repetitive and Shion skipped a few just to give herself some challenge. Floor 8 seem to have quite a good fight and Shion knew she could deal with this oversized monkey pretty well. Getting the info from an info broker Shion made her way over to the main settlement on Floor 8. Her golden chest plate with white and red cloth made her almost like a maiden riding a pegasus. And he red flaming hair was all nice and loose slowly blowing in the wind. She looked over her info as she stood at the exit of the settlement. With her glaive in hand and her head in the menu, she was focused on the map a bit looking where this so-called Monkey king was hiding.

    CRASH

    Out of nowhere against her back someone walked against her, her first thought was straight away angry and she turned around looking angry and mad. "WHO THE HELL-" She paused staring at the person who walked into her. Her face became white, almost as she saw a ghost or something, and her expression was frozen in shock. Shion was lost in what to say as a friend who she thought was dead. You could see her knees a bit shaking a before she moved and went in for a hug, "You Idiot Koga!" She said as she hugged him before letting go fast dusting her skirt a bit. "S-sorry, that was unprofessional from me to hug you." Her mind was distracted and completely lost any idea she just was having. "Bloody hell, Koga, I ... I thought you were dead! why didn't you respond to my messages... AAAARG you dont know how much I wanna punch you in the face now for making me think my friend was dead," She said without even thinking.

  10. Taking the lead into the cave it seemed to be a bit dry around here, as well that it seemed to be quite cold as Shion sees her own breath as she was breathing. "Guess this is his hiding place, just be careful," She said as she walked in front into the cave. Soon the air became much colder and right in front of them was the dragon, the one they had to take out. It was not big but it was clearly the monster they had to fight.

    Shion took her spear into her hand as the dragon stood up and got ready for combat itself. Before anything, Shion left her spot and was already at the neck of the dragon but it seemed the dragon got up and spread its wings to avoid her spear. Standing next to the creature Shion could see how big it was, really not something she subjected to be so small compared to the stories she knew about dragons. "BEN NOW," She said to him as she held her spear up to the dragon so it could not directly bite her.

  11. Shion stood next to Ben, it made her a bit more lose knowing he was prepared. Shion took out her spear and stretched a bit, "All set, I dont really needs buffs for this fight, if I'm right even if I dont kill it right away It cant damage me at all," She said holding her spear in her neck for a bit before looking at Ben. "you better be ready if I do miss this first shot It means we may have to get a round of waiting so it attacks me,"  she said serious-sounding like she knew what she was talking about.

    walking inside her leader spirit showed off quite a bit as she stoot there with confidence and nodded to Ben to follow her. Sure the dragon would be alerted to them as soon as they walked up but At least Shion here had the upper hand and knew how to fast beat this dragon into submission. "Do stay behind me until he is fully focused on me, Unless it seems to attack dont try to stand between me and the dragon, he can't damage me so this will be quick," she said to him before advancing more.

    @Benjamin Bookworm

  12. Shion let out a sigh and looked at Ben for a moment, "Good, But don't say I didn't warn you. And if you survive without backing off I may help you on the other dragons as well," Shion said to him before they got the gate going to where ever this dragon was. It was very clear Shion could easily one-shot this thing if she wanted and she was planning to do so as well. "after this is done I will take you to the wall, and show you what can happen if you make it and don't become another name" she said cold but you could hear a bit of regret in her voice. But at that moment Shion clapped herself in the face, Wake up you dumb ass no need to be in sorrow you are here now let's try our best you have your own promise,  she thought as she did so as her expression changed to a small smile.

    Shion looked at the map and the location of the dragon they had to kill, knowing it would not take long Shion made sure Ben was in front and leading just making sure of her own that nobody was following them you could never know. "You know where the dragon is so best to keep it up before we start encountering other monsters, I'm not in the mood to fight those as well." She said to Ben as she pointed into the distance to a pack of wolfs. It was best for her, especially her that she was not running out of energy. All right now she was focused on getting Ben out of here safe and sound.

    @Benjamin Bookworm

  13. As she was done eating Shion noticed Ben's remark and cleaned up her face, and his question well, She really didn't need to lie so why not tell him, "I seen people die, I got people killed because of my leadership. Simply put, I am not dragging people I don't trust into any combat fast ONLY if I know I can do it myself without help," She said sounding like she didn't care at all and her smile from before disappeared. Sometimes the truth hurts and sometimes you had to avoid telling the truth. Shion was not happy about losing the lives of human beings on her hand, She could have stopped them but she made them rush in with her. "it's not all about protecting if you protect people shield you can't take up a sword and push the enemy back. and you can only protect so much," She said sounding serious and point on.

    Shion took out a menu and nodded her head for a second, the least she could do right now was to pay for the meal and then be on their way, "I'll pay for the mean, no worry I have enough Col," She said to him paying the meal and standing up from the seat. She was ready to go and stretched for a second before leaving the building and waiting outside for Benjamin to come as well.

    @Benjamin Bookworm

  14. As soon as the dishes came Shion started eating, taking a bite and not stopping as Ben was talking until he asked her something. She paused for a second and thought for a bit. Emptying her mouth and looking at Ben, as she had a piece of food on her cheeks. "No, I don't. Plus if I made any friend I still would not help them, They shouldn't. I just get people killed," Shion said looking a bit cold bit smiled fast as she went on with eating her food. As she did so she kind of looked like a child that was just eating away making sure nobody else took her food.

    Nearly finished with her food she looked up and nodded, "Asked you something I guess I can answer the same question, I'm 27 or at least I should be. But yea I'm from Japan, Tokyo to be more on point as well. But I guess that still doesn't narrow it down. But Yeah ... if you want to know more, I'm open to talk. It is good to know who you fighting with" She said going back to her last parts of her food leaving a small piece of food on her cheek as she finished the rest of her meal.

    @Benjamin Bookworm

  15. Shion looked at the menu with a small smile, it looked all really good and she was just focused on getting her food. She didn't pay much attention to what Benjamin was telling but she looked up for a second at him and tilted her head, "I have, from a player that is currently a cook and tank if I'm right," I said to him before looking down at the menu as my voice sounded lighter and calmer even a bit softer as well. As she did she looked back at her menu looking over the items she could eat. Looking at the menu Shion seemed a bit confuse on what to take but smiled friendly. "I got something!" She said sounding a lot more friendlier.

    Waiting for Benjamin to also be done with his order, Shion would look at the ober. "One large chef special please! Oh and a shake if possible! and um... why not add some fries as well!" She said showing her apitite to Ben, in how much she just ordered. But for her it was quite normal to eat so much, her body didnt really grow in or outside of the game as she already ate a lot. "Well um... Benja... Ben, you seem to be quite young compared to me? How old are you execly? If I may ask you? And where are you from, because Benjamin is quite a uncommon name here in Japan for as far as I know," She asked friendly sounding calmer then before and less cold.

    @Benjamin Bookworm

  16. Shion listens to what Ben had to tell, so no real boss fights or anything and outside that he also was mainly focused on crafting so that would explain a bit why he didn't see to have much equipment on him. But it was a good test for Shion as well to test her new skill as well if Ben got hurt. Knowing this Shion opened her menu for a bit and looked at her skill for a bit, 'First Aid' is was a good skill for her type of playing style. Paladin as her friend called it. But her train of thoughts was cut short as Ben mentioned the shop up ahead. "Ah yes, So we just take a seat inside and get something inside out stomachs. It does help to fight on a full stomach give you all kinds of boost. But not in-game even tho there are some items that do, but I believe the rest of the food just gives a visual boost to your body," She said holding her hand to her chin and thinking a bit.

    As soon as the got to the shop Shion looked at Ben and opened the door for him so he could walk in, once inside Shion looked around for a bit and nodded walking up to some NPC. "Table for two, and please some quiet place with a good view," She said to the NPC before she took Ben's arm and followed the NPC to their table. Once at their table she lets go of Ben's arm and looks at the chairs taking a place of her own, "Come sit, so we can get some food soon," She said cold and monotone, like she spoke the whole time, as a small slight smile was finally visible on her face.

    @Benjamin Bookworm

  17. Shion was not paying much attention to Ben's face as he spoke, however, she did notice that she stopped for a bit and she slowed down a bit. Looking back as Ben came up to her again, she didn't really notice his actions and just brushed them off. She didn't know the guy to either care or just have time for what he was having. Right now Shion was focused on food and getting to this quest as fast as possible... and maybe get a strong ally in the shop industry as Shion was lacking some contacts there. "So how long have you been handling a shop if I may ask. As well a second question, I many times did you see or take part in actually boss like fights. Like, say ... the event bosses or something," Shion asked seeing to understand if she just needed to go on full guard or slow it down and just go in with Ben together.

    To understand your ally or partner you are working with is key to something like this especially this quest line as the dragons are no joke around. She already saw people taking on this questline and coming back like they been into hell and just got back. So knowing what you up against and who fight along your side is very important for at least Shion it take in as a factor. logocal thinking Shion would not even take Ben to this quest but sometimes you have to make exeptions the least she could do it make sure it is dead in one shot.

    @Benjamin Bookworm

  18. It didn't take long more and Shion already saw the safe zone pop into her view, as soon as she touched normal road again the snow stopped and the sun broke past the clouds. it was quite an interesting view to see behind the clouds the sun raised and Shion walking right towards it heading into the safe zone. Sure this didn't take long so that meant that she could just go straight up to the next floor and get herself done with a land shark that was around there. It was still interesting how a Snow floor was beneath a desert floor. Both would have given off quite a great look so far for the times that Shion has been there, and looking at it now those are not the only places she would want to explore a bit just to look around. Maybe one day Shion would lay down the spear for a bit and start exploring and see what to do but right now she needs to focus on getting stronger

  19. She walked looking at the message for a bit, how and why did Shion not know more about her friend, she has seen him so many times and he even got her the game so they could 'relax' a bit getting their, or at least her workaholic behaviour away from her for a bit. She was a bit sad but she yet again hit herself on the cheeks and looked up at the sky where snow was still falling down towards her. "Nope time to be sad! You cant! you have done a lot of things already maybe you can even fight of this moment and find out what happened," She said to herself trying to boost her own emotions up and get something off as well. Shion wanted to focus on being better at a lot of things and she needed to do so to see if she could win this game on her own or does she need people to help her.

  20. As she walked Shion in the snow, the wind started blowing more and moved her air around a bit. Part of her hair seems to catch some snowflakes and she looked back where she just killed the monster. She was happy a little bit that nobody risked their lives just to help her. She was not planning to do that anytime soon as she was not gonna risk anyone. She was minding her own business before she got herself a message from someone, she looked up for a second and then looked at the message.

    From Yuuma
    To Azhoda

    Hey Shion,
    Quick update, I have asked around for a little time and found out that this discription fits everyoner. Like no joke, I have at least three people who look like this, I may need something esle to find this person for you. Sorry

    Dears Yuuma

    Looking at it she kind of felt down, "Guess he is right I may need to find some good prove of people who act like him. Guess I have to halt that search for now," She said low to herself as she kept walking looking at hte message, it was clear that she didn't get to look for her friend for a long time as she really didn't have much more information on him as it stands now

  21. It was a bit said yes but Shion didn't have time to be sad at all she tried to look ahead and think about the changes that still could be. A lot of players out here are still alive and she knew that what she was doing was for the best of people, sure death was part of this game but knowing that people would be saved if she kept fighting gave her hope. Even if a lot of people would like her to just keep save she didn't see that to be an option. The logic behind her plan was to keep people out her way even if it meant hurting them, apart from that is would be quite interesting if people became friends. Even if Koga broke into her shell, she would not want anyone to work close with her. She was scared of getting more people killed, she already did and she also felt like she failed Koga as well.

  22. Shion looked around and took a bit in, as she stood there the snowstorm around her began to slow down and just a small amount of snow started to fall down slowly. With that is was clear to her that she just killed the boss on her own. With the weather clearing up more now Shion looked at the lake, there was quite a big area that was here and all of this ice, it all meant that beneath this ice would be water. She smiled a bit looking at it, this would have been quite a place to hang out with more people. But ... yea but sadly she didn't have any idea if anyone would even come with her. She has pushed away people as much as she could and she is not planning to drag anyone into it as well. In her eyes it seemed like people always ended up getting killed

  23. As the snow got thicker and thicker and Shion had to cover her eyes a bit as she was walking. Looking around was hard and everything looked like it was a monster, from the smallest hills of snow to some small ice pike. Walking for a bit more Shion began to fell the snow beneath her feet become slippery and she kneeled down to feel the snow. Brushing it away she noticed that there was ice, the frozen lake perhaps.

    Not a moment later and in the distance a shadow walked at his with gaining speed. Jumping out of the way she noticed that this shadow was the avalanche she had to fight. She smiled and took out her spear and with a fast movement on her part charged at it with full speed, One stab connected two and three before Shion slammed her spear down on the monster. Just before it could do anything it was already on its knees and it disappeared into the snowstorm becoming one with it.

  24. Walking for a bit Shion started to see worse as the snow got a bit heavier and her vision became blurry. But that all meant that she was getting closer to the boss and meaning that she would be out of here quite quick as well. If Shion would beat it nobody else had to do it, or at least someone who didn't need to fight a much worse enemy then this. Sure it would respawn again but It also meant that Shion got closer to making sure others did not get closer to the front lines as well. Looking into the info she gained from her friend was easy to understand about 100 HP and his damage was low enough for her own MIT to feel like nothing. Maybe Shion was a bit of a reckless fighter but at least she knew of what she was capable and didn't feel like she would be holding people back.

  25. Shion had to keep her head up she was and always has lost someone, first joining this game she lost the people who she joined up with because it seemed logical. But thanks to some errors on her part as well as other members thinking they could do anything ended up killing 50% of the groups she was with. And Now this, Koga was meant to meet up but he never showed up at all, messages didn't get any reaction for days and even Yuuma didn't find anyone. And now thinking about it, her friend she had in her real-life could be in this game as well. It was all to risky and Shion knew that if she became stronger and helped to beat the bosses, it would mean nobody else was gonna be in danger at all. "Come on Shion, head into the game, the boss is not far away anymore, and you can easily beat this one on your own, it is not gonna be hard at all," She said hitting her own cheeks as she walked into a small snowstorm.
