[F4-PP] The essence of damn it's cold <<Essence of Steel>> (Vayrin, Zandra)

Recommended Posts

Zandra glanced over her shoulder. It looked like her party members handled those golems with ease. She definitely wasnt needed over there. Not that she had thougth so but it always felt good to have things confirmed. She turned her focus back to her opponent."Are you ready little pup?" She teasex it with an evil smile. The beast answered with a growl the echoed thru the forest."Oh woow, that was sooo awesome." She said with an ironic tone in her voice."Well well. Enough of chit-chat." She charged up her Aerial spin and a few moments later released it. She made two baclflips, making two red stripes on his body. Then she thrrew herself to the side to dodge the counter attack.

After the golem's had been finished, Vayrin gave a sigh of relief, and turned her attention back to the snow beast. She got her blade ready, even though she felt very weary due to her battle with the Golems. She sprinted towards the monster, trying to use the last of her energy to do some damage. Unfortunently, the beast spotted the girl running at it. It swung it's massive tail around, something She wasn't expecting. It slammed straight into Vayrin's chest, sending her flying across the snow covered landscape. She rolled on the ground, completely out of energy, with only 8 points of Hp left... This may have not been a good idea after all...

[You don't have to roll MD, Vayrin. The one spawning the monster (in this case Zandra) does that]

Macradon would turn around to get ready to engage upon the big snow beast Zandra already engaged in combat with. Vayrin chose to engage the beast but was struck and pushed back. "Vayrin, stay back!" he would say to the fallen girl, Macradon would get in between her and the beast, shielding her off from the beast's radar for now. He would <Charge> in with his skill and go for a good strong hit, but missed slightly and did not do any damage to the big beast. Macradon would groan lightly by the miss and try to get back into a guard and shield off the girl.

The snowbeast was almost dead. Just a little piece of its hp left in the red zone. Zandra started to twirl the whip to charge up the sword art. She looked at the creature with a smile."Hehe. You ready to be pixelated teddy?" She said to tease him even more. Thou she shouldnt have done it this time. Before she could counter it the beast had charged her and made a powerful hit on Zandra. But in last second she took her rigth foot back and held her arm like holding a shield infront of her. Her metal clad feets made scratches in the ground when she got pushed back from the hit. But she was still standing and lost a tiny bit of her health.

Yet again Macradon would go in for an attack, he wasn't sure that this fight was to be going that well. A lot of misses all of a sudden, the snow beast was one agile beast, being able to dodge so many attacks coming from both a two handed swordsman and a whip user. Either it was programmed to know these kinds of sword skills or it was just agile in itself. No attacks Macradon had pulled off at the big beast were connecting and damaging the beast. Nothing was really happening right now and the fight was frozen.

(OOC: Not exactly sure on what to do here. If I try and attack it again, I'll only do 5-7 DMG if I hit it, and if I get hit again I'm dead.)

Vayrin panted heavily in the snow as she slowly got to her feet. The girl looked up and cringed when she saw how much damage the Snow Beast had done to her... She wouldn't be able to survive another hit from that thing... She looked back at the battle. Thankfully, the monster shifted it's attention away from her after Macradon got in between them. Vayrin slowly stretched out her arms, and got her blade ready, in case the monster decided to try and finish her off...

What was wrong with this beast. How could he avoid every attack from them. She landed two hits at the start but after that complete misses. She grit her teeths and stared at him."Im gonna shatter you into pixels now, you ready your little piece of s***?" She didnt waited for an answer. She charged up her sword art. Not going for the strongest this time but rather a lower, hopefully succeding to land a hit. And that she did. A red religious cross covered his chest and a few moments later he shattered into pixels."So, that was that. It have been a fun spending time with you. Shall we call it a day by now?"

He saw how Zandra would finish of the beast without others do much else. Macradon would sigh, he didn't really do much at this fight and it was even him who were recruiting people for the quest. Zandra was the one to strike down the beast so she was the one to acquire the potion. Macradon just had to do the quest again to get that salve. "Great job everyone ..." he said with a heavy voice. "Yeah, let's call it a day" Macradon said, looking at his party members. It was an easy day with not too much of work.

Seeing Zandra finish off the monster brought great relief to her muscles, as her body began to relax. She was still breathing heavily from the battle, but sheathed her weapon. She looked at Macradon who sounded slightly depressed from the outcome. She could only guess why. Vayrin really should've done some more research on this quest before putting herself in it. She sighed silently, knowing she may have just been a burden for the high leveled players, seeing as the monster was way too powerful for her. "Yeah... And sorry for running in without thinking. Those golem's weren't too difficult. I didn't think the snowbeast was going to be that much harder." She told them. None the less, it was dead, and the quest was completed. Vayrin had gained some much needed XP on this one, just enough for another level.
