Nixon was born to a happy family. He was the only child, his mother was a journalist and his father was a psychologist. He studied with his mother about how to use the english language and when he was old enough his father began to teach Nixon about human psychology. Once he was in high school he primarily studied english and psychology, as he wanted to impress his parents. Long after his freshmen year he found that he had a knack for poetry and short stories and proceeded to write two unpublished books on, one book of poems and one book of short stories. By his senior year he had written 5 books of short stories and 5 books of poems, however only one book was ever published. He also loved MMORPG’s because it let him see how people would react to different scenarios, and once he heard that a full virtual reality mmo was coming out he could resist but buy it.

Virtues:

Charismatic: Being an author and a poet Nix has come close to mastering the English language. He knows what to say and when to say it, it is rare for him to fumble over his words or misspeak unless it is a topic he doesn't know a lot about. He also knows how to manipulate the words of others to his liking, as he can understand both what they are trying to say and what they are actually saying. He doesn't do this often but if he gets really bored or he gets upset with someone then he will.

Cheerful: Generally Nix is a cheery guy. he is optimistic, even in the face of danger. He is hard to upset and when he gets upset he tries to find the best out of what is wrong. He never stops looking for the good in someone or the situation. Even if a mission fails he looks at it as, “There is a lesson to be learned here” and tries to figure it out. Most of the time his cheerfulness radiates out of him to make others happy as well either by his actions or his word. He always finds a way to find the good.

Alert: Nixon, Hates being surprised or snuck up on. he always keeps an eye out for someone who is trying to eavesdrop or sneak-up on him. when he finds someone he doesn't necessarily get mad as much as he gets disappointed. He also tries to determine, when someone “Overhears a conversation”, If they really overheard it out of coincidence or were going out of their way to overhear it. However should someone sneak up on him and surprise him, as long as they aren't attacking him, he normally laughs it off on the outside, while on the inside resolving to make himself more alert in the future.

Caring

Nixon Loved to take care of people, it seemed to be all that mattered to him, Everything else was left behind when he was put in a position that he could help others. Everything from helping them in combat to helping people mentally. he tended to be willing to give anyone help that didn't upset his prideful perspective. Nothing would ever overtake his pride and if someone proved unworthy of his time, he wouldn't give them care.

Understanding: Maybe because of his Cheerful personality or his mastery of the english language, Nixon has always been able to be a good counselor. He can listen to and understand almost anyone's problems and can figure out how to help them. He can understand things that other people are going through without him going through them himself. This is mostly due to his studies on Psychology and Sociology in school. Nix is a kind and compassionate person who will do anything to help someone with their mental/emotional problems.

Neutral traits:

Shakespearean fluency: Nixon always loved Shakespeare, he read Shakespeare so much in his childhood that when he wants to he can call upon the language. He can use this to confuse people or test their intelligence. If someone asks him about Shakespeare he gets excited and can talk about Shakespeare's plays for hours on end.

Daredevil: Nix loves adventure, almost too much. He goes out of his way to fight things that are clearly stronger than him just for the thrill of the fight. He tends to get in over his head, and when he does he calls for backup, but until he realizes that he is in over his head he will fight. This can be very problematic in SAO as he will seek out stronger opponents than he should and risk his own life for a thrill.

Pushy: The one thing about human psychology Nix never understood was that there are thing that people may not be ready to talk about. He will push someone to talk to him about their feelings and problems, even if they don’t want to sometimes to the point of ending a friendship. For some reason he just never understood the queue of “I don't want to talk about it” instead he sees it as something urgent that needs to be fixed asap so he tries to do just that.

Flirt: Nix likes to try to use his mastery of poetry to flirt around, even if he doesn't care about the girl he is flirting with. He makes poetic remarks to lead a girl on but never actually wants to go anywhere with the relationship. this can make people upset with him. it also gets worse when he is drunk where he can be a huge tease, but never actually give them anything. Unfortunately this makes it so girls eventually stop talking to him and any who know him he will never be able to get into an actual relationship with if he wanted to, out of fear he would continue to flirt around.

Addiction (alcohol): Let me preface this with, there is a reason i didn't say Alcoholic. That is because he doesn’t have to get drunk to get a fixed. Though he does need a buzz a day. If he goes longer than a day without getting a buzz he gets insanely irritable and people don’t want to be around him. Though he rarely gets drunk as he hates having a hangover. However he does get drunk on occasion with his friends or when a celebration is in order. he also isn't abusive in any way.

Hopeless Romantic

Nixon had spent so much of his life without love, searching and flirting around though never finding it. He craved it now, it was no longer a small habit but something it seemed he could no longer shake. Life around him kept moving but his heart remained untouched. He wanted to have a family, or at least someone to call his, though it seemed this would never happen. That didn't mean he wouldn't keep searching. He tends to latch onto those who show him kindness, if he feels like he has a chance for them then he will pursue it

Prideful

Nixon has become completely enveloped in his own pride. He thinks he is the king of the world and you better show him respect or get out of his way. He judges people baced on how much they are worth to him. Those who are worth more will find themselves in his company often. Those who are worth less may find themselves at the end of his whip. He watched, observed and waited for so long, it was his time to shine.
