[F14-PP] Let's go grave digging <The Lich's Calling> (Ssendom)

Recommended Posts

Macradon just had to rest, or at least keep himself out of combat for a few minuted more for his energy to get up to full, which in turn would help the two if they were to find an advanced dungeon, again. If they were luck enough to find the dungeon, Macradon and Dom would be able to handle everything as easily as before, even though this was a higher floor than the one before. The two would have no problems taking out the horde of mobs that they would meet in the dungeon, as well as the big boss.

Dom looked at Macradon who was beginning to relax after the entirety of the fight, "You've definitely held up your own Macradon, is there a simpler name you wish me to address you by?" He asked the White Knight, just as he did during their time on the twelfth floor Dom immediately went to searching for materials knowing he was going to need them for his agreement with Ariel. There really wasn't much in the area of the quest boss zone, "Lets head toward the Castle and see if there are materials over there." He said to Macradon then started walking that way.

"Most people cal me Mac, you can call me that if you want" he would reply to Dom, as the two had quite the names that wasn't the most pleasant to keep calling. It seemed like they would have to keep on looking for a dungeon, as it seemed like Dom haven't found anything. It was probably not that easy to find a dungeon, Macradon was aware of that. He had once gone looking for a dungeon with Zandra once and they had to look for a long time before he found anything. With a deep sigh he would follow on and reply "Yeah, let's do that" and look for some mats at the boss zone.

Dom laughed a bit, "Now I know two Mac's, just one ends in the k and the other only utilizes the first three letters in this name." He couldn't help but hold back the laughter, it was even more ironic since they were apart of the exact same guild. It took him a moment to recollect himself, although the humor of it still some what rumbled around in his head, "Sorry I just found it very amusing that you're both in Knight's of the Blood Oath as well." Dom was thinking about the joke and chuckling about it too much to the point that he forgot to do some material searching in the area.

Macradon would chuckle with Dom's laughter, it was true and it was indeed funny that both Mac and Mack were part of the same guild. "We're stronger in numbers, right?" he would say "Let the Macs unite". It seemed like they would have to look for the dungeon for an even longer time than before, why was it taking so long? Macradon was bewildered as it was much faster down on the 12th floor, maybe the floor level really did make much of a difference. Macradon would sigh and shrug it off in his hunt for materials to gather.

As they reached the Castle door, the doors opened effortlessly. Apparently no one had ever even attempted to open the doors of the building and it easily shown that it was an Advanced Sub-Dungeon all along. And it descended into a Torch Lit Tunnel, "Well that wasn't what I was expecting, and it turns out no one has really taken the time to search around the entirety of the floor. So many sub-dungeons left undiscovered just for me to slaughter the boss when I so please." He laughed, "Lets get in there and slaughter some skeletons."

Macradon nodded "Let us bash them to bits!" he would say with a smile as they had found the sub dungeon they were looking for. Macradon would begin to walk into the torch-lit tunnel and wait to see if the big horde of Mobs would come to them, or that they would need to look for the mobs. It was an obvious opening for the sub-dungeon, but it does seem like none had been here. Of what Macradon knew, not many people did sub-dungeon runs. The question "Why" would only stay unanswered for now.

Dom rushed headlong into a group of Undead Champions that were even better armored than the ones they had been fighting up until now. Dom was excited he wanted to destroy as many enemies as possible and collect on a massive amount of materials and col. But more so, the boss was going to be even harder on this floor than the Viper they fought on the twelfth. Dom didn't need much help with them as they crumbled just as easy as the groups he had been annihilating beforehand, and just collecting on more and more loot as he could.

Within the deep dungeon, skeleton knights roamed the floor, just like above the floor. Macradon would charge into the bunch of skeletons, blocking 2 og the 3 attacks going in, 1 of them would get a good hit in. Macradon's regen didn't trigger, but Macradon would continue cleaving through the group of skeletons, taking them out with a single Fight Blade sword art. His 6 sweeps taking down the bone knights with his sickle, which was one odd weapon for a two handed weapon.

Another ground of Undead Knights, it truly didn't matter to Dom. They were as easy to slaughter as the very first mob he had ever taken down, the entirety of fighting was a bore to him with the use of his Unique Skill. Even if he took damage, he would heal all of it right back due to the insane innate strength that came from such a powerful artifact of a skill. But he shrugged and flipped his greatsword on his shoulder as he was about to get ready to rest, but he looked over at Macradon if the man needed help.

Macradon would continue the fight in the deep dungeon of the 14th floor, taking down 4 skeleton knights with a 6 combo sweep attack, the Fight Blade sword art, taking out the creatures with his big sword. One of the managed to get a hit onto him, but it was quickly recovered by his Regen on his armor, making him a durable fighter. Macradon would look over at Dom quickly, trying to see what was going on on his part. Not much was happening, so Macradon just had to keep on mauling down enemies if Dom didn't.

The creaking sound of a Door opening was heard deeper in the dungeon, the remaining enemies that littered the path literally crumbled into dust. There to await after the Sub-Dungeon was finished and to be reset. Dom looked at Macradon, "Good job, this time lets rest before we go face the Sub-Dungeon boss. Last time you left me to practically solo it with the exclusion of a single attack." Dom laughed out loud saying that, then made his way toward the boss room chambers and to await for his energy to completely replenish. While he did that he dropped his inventory menu to check out his current loot from this run and think.

Macradon nodded with a big smile on his face "I'll sure be helping you this time, no more flowers!" he said with the widest grin he could muster. He would agree that their energy levels weren't at their highest potential, so Macradon would await his energy's recovery, it wouldn't take long, he was sure about that. He would sit down and look at all the death around the place, everything seemed dead and not living, so picking flowers here wouldn't be ideal anyways.

As they arrived to the Boss Chambers, inside a Gigantic Skeleton wielding an Ultra Greatsword it seemed. The Skeleton must have been half the size of the Greatsword alone, but all Dom could do was laugh at the site of it, "I kid you not, that thing must be hella inefficient with that weapon." He just sat there and had a good ol' chuckle over the soon to come images of the creature trying to lift the giganic sword to hit them since the blade was constantly resting upon the ground, the skeleton hunched over with it's hands gripped on the hilt looking as though it couldn't even lift the sword.

Macradon pondered, how to skeleton knights even work. Magic might explain resurrection of the skeletons themselves, but how were the skeletons strong enough to do anything? They may be glued together by magic to keep all the bones together and not as a pile of living bones. Even with the glue, Macradon was still confused of to how the skeletons were even able to lift anything. They didn't have any muscles to do the work of actually lifting something. His brain would tie knots of the stupid logic that would be explained by "Hurr durr it's magic yo". He would let out a deep sigh as he saw the big skeleton boss, just looking like it was trying to get its sword up, but unable to.

Dom finally stopped laughing, he had managed to recompose himself and look at Macradon, "We finished one quest together pretty fast. And now we're gonna finish another one just as fast." He grinned as he got ready to charge, "You know Mac, if you need anything. Be it help or a sparring opponent, don't hesitate to send me a message. You've got the Respect of the Berserker himself." He said earnestly, then charged forward at full speed ready to engage the boss since there was some distance before he entered the aggro zone so his energy would fully replenish.

He smiled, he had got the respect from the berserker, nothing more could really kick him into gear at the moment. "Thanks a lot" he said with a smile and a joyful voice as he would get ready to charge into the battle as well to take on the big bad skeleton. He would begin to sprint at the skeleton, forcing his charge to activate and make his next attack stronger than normal strikes with the added charge bonus. He was ready to fight a floor boss, hoping to really do something here.

The Skeleton Legionnaire was surprisingly fast with that Ultra Greatsword swing it at speeds that Dom couldn't even prepare for chunking out a massive amount of his health in a single strike. But his body began to glow a vibrant green as his battle healing skill triggered healing back half the damage that was dealt. Then Dom delivered a massive blow chunking almost half of the Legionnaires heath in a single strike, "Switch!" He shouted to Macradon hoping the boy could get a solid strike into the boss.

Dom attacked the big hulking behemoth of a skeleton and would take a lot of its damage down. Macradon was in no way capable of dealing that much damage on anything. He would sigh as his charge was fully engaged and got straight to the offense when Dom shouted switch. Macradon knew what the term meant, and he would fulfill it by attacking the skeleton warrior. 4 strong swipes through the big skeleton warrior would chip some of its health away, he was sure he wouldn't be able to take on the boss without Dom by his side, he was very sure about that. "Switch!" he called to get Dom on the offense again, going back to gain some energy for his next strike.

Dom and the Giant Skeletal Legionnaire began to heave at it. Dom was effortlessly knocking away the Massive Greatsword of the Skeletal warrior, it was almost unbelievable that Dom had enough strength to stop this Skeleton from being able to actually finish it's attacks. But the Skeleton and Dom were in a heated battle of constantly knocking away each other's weapons to prevent them from inflicting any damage against the each other. After a while Dom hopped back as the Skeleton stayed still.
