This passage was an interconnecting mountain pass that linked all of the outer rim towns, including the main town, to the desert below. It was a relative safe zone, which gave some respite from mobs, but the occasional bandit player could still take advantage of weary travelers whom ventured back from the desert. For that case, the hunter did not want to let his guard down, even if he was quite tired from the exhausting hunt. He needed better equipment than his current set. It would see fit to going to someone that he trust for it to be done in a timely order.
