[Sp-F1] Bonding <Itzal> <completed>

Recommended Posts

The wolf didn't seem to like the comment and rushed forward.  Itzal intended to cut the wolf as he dodged it like he had before, but this time he didn't notice the rock under the ball of his foot.  As he tripped, the wolf jumped and swung it's claw, missing by a centimeter.  Thank the Lord Almighty for this armor Itzal thought.  The extra evasive stat truly helped.  He fell on his back on the ground and rolled backward before the wolf could make another attack.  He raised his sword in a defensive position, subconsciously deflecting and blocking all the wolf's attacks.  He had done this so many times it was like a second nature to him.

Itzal continued to parry and block the wolf until it grew tired and retreated.  He was about to charge after it when Velnia landed on his shoulder.

"What is it Velnia?"  She nodded toward the east and Itzal noticed that the sun was beginning to rise.  He'd been up all night!  He nodded to her.  "Alright, let me wrap this up and we can-"  He was interrupted when the wolf rammed into him, knocking him to the ground.  The wolf showed no mercy as it clamped it's jaw tightly on Itzal's left shoulder.  He gritted his teeth in pain.  Why was it always the shoulder?  At least it was a different one this time.  He tried to pull the wolf off but it didn't budge.  It had a steel grip.

Itzal finally managed to tear the wolf's mouth open with enough force to cause slight pain in it's jaw.  The wolf jumped off Itzal and opened and closed it's mouth to test itself.  Itzal stood as it did so, but not long after that the wolf tackled him again.  Retributor was ripped from his hands and he and the wolf rolled across the ground, dangerously close to the edge.  The wolf attempted to bite or claw him while Itzal did his all to keep the paws and face away from him.  Whenever the wolf was on top of him he pressed his knee on the wolf's torso to keep the head away while holding it's forearms away from biting distance.  Whenever he was on top of the wolf he pretty much did the same thing.

Itzal finally managed to push the wolf on him and jumped onto, and off of the tree beside him, effectively jumping over the wolf.  He used snake bite as he did so, striking once in the air, and once when he landed.  The wolf yelped with surprise and turned on him.  It charged and leapt but he dodged it easily this time and smacked it on the rear with the flat of his blade.  He needed to end this quick.  He was starting to feel tired, and he'd rather get some sleep before doing anything else with the group.

Itzal saw blind rage in the wolf's eyes as it turned to him.  The beast ran towards him in a zig-zag manner before running behind him.  At first he was confused, until a thick vine suddenly yanked him to the ground.  That stupid wolf grabbed it in it's mouth and pulled without him noticing!  He wasn't even sure the npc should be able to do that!  As the wolf pounced, Itzal held his sword straight up between it and himself.  The wolf didn't seem to notice the blade was there, even as it pierced it's skin.  It clawed with renewed passion at Itzal's chest and his face tightened as he felt the claws rake him ferociously.

Itzal tried to get the wolf off of him but it's anger and determination prevailed as it let loose another volley of raking claws.  Itzal's torso burned under the intense rain of the wolf's rage and managed to use the sword to toss the wolf to his side.  As he stumbled to his feet the wolf managed to claw his back, causing him to wince in pain.  Now it was Itzal's turn to turn to the wolf in rage.  He swung his sword so hard that it forced the wolf back a little.  Game time was over.  This wolf just pissed him off.

The wolf turned to him, at first with a deadly look in it's eye, but then it quickly changed to fear as it saw the pure rage in Itzal's eyes.  It started to back off when it reached the cliff's edge.  Itzal took his sword and walked slowly and menacingly to the wolf as it shrank in fear.  Fear of both Itzal's wrath and the fall from the cliff.  Suddenly he shot forward with a burst of speed and used snake bite one last time in a v-shape.  The force was so strong that it not only caused a bleeding effect, but it threw the wolf off of the cliff and into the air.  He watched as the wolf howled in terror before falling down to it's demise.  Itzal sheathed Retributor as he took a deep breath.  Velnia seemed a little scared from his sudden rage but looked like she recovered fast.  She flew on his shoulder and he smiled.

"Come on girl, let's meet the others."
