Itzal 0 Posted August 7, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2016 I want Itzal to become a singer so I read everything on preformed. I must admit I was a bit... Disapointed. Compaired to the other professions preformer seems close to pointless. That's when I had an idea. I was inspired by a characters ability in the lotr game the third age. That skill was called leadership. Unlike the other abilities, this skill effected groups rather than individuals. It would boost damage, accuracy, speed, defense, etc. and then it did the reverse with enemies. I was thinking about this and how songs can be heard by many and began to think. Could we have something similar to that skill for preformer? Possibly with a higher rank? I feel like preformer wasnt worked on well and wanted to give this suggestion. Takao 0 Posted August 8, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 8, 2016 There are already two professions that deal with buffing, so adding a third would just oversaturate that market. Performers have several enhancements that debuff opponents: Incarceration (3 Slots) = Single target receives double damage from status effects. Misperception (Up to 3 Slots) = Monster/Target party receives -(2*tier) damage for 4 turns. Hypnosis (Up to 3 Slots) = Single target receives -1 accuracy for each slot used for 4 turns. Mesmerism (3 Slots) = Monster/Target party receives -1 accuracy for 4 turns. Lullaby (Up to 3 Slots) = Single target receives -1 evasion for each slot used for 4 turns. Berceuse (3 Slots) = Monster/Target party receives -1 evasion for 4 turns. They also have healing songs too.
Baldur 0 Posted August 9, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 9, 2016 I actually didn't realize they had those. They would be good items for use in boss fights.
