[PP-F11] Trinity [Sey, Domarus and Aereth][Hard RGQ]

Recommended Posts

Domarus listened to Aereth and mentally sighed.  The man needed to understand what order and planning meant.  Domarus himself was one who spent most of his time into plans and schemes.  If you didn't follow the plan then there would be problems.  Aereth had yet to understand that.  However, soon enough he'd begin his lessens with Aereth.  Soon enough.  And when he did his scout would be that much closer to becoming an official general.

"Don't worry about it too much.  At least tell me before you do something like that."  Honestly he thought to himself.  Then Aereth placed his hand on Domarus' huge shoulder guard and whispered to him, asking about Keres and Sey.  Domarus chuckled.  The entire affair was amusing to watch indeed, but perhaps she should lighten up a little.

"Honestly at the rate things are going, I doubt we need to worry whatsoever.  I seriously doubt we'll need healing.  However if it concerns you that much...  Keres?  We're all here.  You don't need to be so afraid alright?"  Keres got the hint but made it seem like she was second guessing it.  She hesitated, but then slowly let go of Sey's clothes, however she made sure to stay right beside him, her face a tiny bit flushed.

"S-sorry Sey..."  She was looking at the ground, but every now and then she'd make an 'attempt' to look at him, seeming to hope he'd start a conversation, as if she were too shy to do so.  Domarus noted the next Antman.

"You two sit back alright?  There won't be much to do here.  This will all be over shortly."

Domarus walked up to the Antman and swung a punch, striking it in the face but it wasn't enough to deal damage.  It did however direct it's hate on Domarus.  The antman swung at him but it's hand/claw didn't even scratch his armor.  Domarus chuckled.

"You'll need to try a LOT harder than that to do anything to me insect."

Seems like he was given a bit of mercy as eventually, he would belet go of, allowing him to let go a huge sigh of relief upon her doing so, eyes closed and relaxing once again as he would intake the air in larger supplements before exhaling at an equal rate. With that done, he would look back down to the maiden, and now that she didn't do too much to him, he felt like he was able to have a somewhat normal chat with her. It was nothing too casual, since they had just met, and this was their first time meeting and all. And the first impression she rubbed off on him was not the best one either... He assumed it was not her fault though and would try to give it a shot. Still however, the clothing she has could be less suggestive, that would have been appreciated. "I-It's fine... We are all here like he said. Anyways, it seems like they have it..." Turning over to the other two, only then realizing that one is injured. "Mostly under control..."

"Yeah, I will do that in the future. But for now don't worry, I've got the information I needed from this encounter. Like I said, I'll stick to the plan." Aereth said to Domarus. He even got some bonus information about Domarus‘ behaviour when he didn’t stick to the plan. But he couldn’t quite get behind it. It was clear that he didn’t like it that Aereth had set up a combat plan and didn’t follow it just moments after he talked about it. But was this really the only thing that bothered Domarus? Well, Aereth didn’t know but he would surely find out why sooner or later.

Domarus started to chuckle when Aereth mentioned how Keres was having her fun with his guildmate, and then said to Keres that she wouldn’t have to be so afraid since there were three people here that wouldn’t let anything happen to her. Aereth also chuckled once more and then started to look for some more materials. “Hey Sey! Wanna help me find some more materials?” he asked the grey haired man.

With that, Domarus started to work on the next ant, and Aereth started to look for the last quest item. Fortunately he was graced by finding it really quickly inside an obviously dead tree. “Seems like we have at least all the quest items.” He said more to himself than to anybody else…

Domarus heard Aereth moving to collect the materials while Domarus dealt with the monster.  The large antman was extremely agitated that it's first hit didn't pierce the armor.  It began to swing it's arms and pincers ferociously at Domarus, who laughed all the while.  Finally the antman found a way around his defenses and landed a rather solid shot against him, cutting through his armor and dealing a critical hit against him.  Domarus wasn't really worried however.  In fact he grinned.  With that hit he gave the monster a very hard kick in the midriff, causing it to double over.  After that he unleashed screw dimension and dealt immense damage to the beast, which then howled in pain and rage.  It glared at Domarus and gritted it's teeth as it's pincher's clenched.  Domarus then punched it in the face, sending it flying backwards.  While he fought Keres heard Sey mention that they had it mostly under control and that it was fine.  She worked hard not to laugh and was successful.  She gave a nervous smile, seeming to be a little relieved, and inched slightly closer.  When Aereth called out to Sey, asking if he could assist him.  Keres nodded.
"Aah, I'll try to help too!"

"Sure Aereth! I'm DEFINITELY going to help!" Sey would tell him as he would then proceed to dash off towards some random direction, looking around for the materials he so desperately needed. He made sure to go at a running pace so that he would be alone for the moment, or at least that was the goal. Keres said that she would make the attempt as well, in which he would swiftly call out and tell her she didn't need to. "Oh no no! You don't need to! I have this one covered!" He would explain, turning his head back and continuing to make the dash. Unfortunately for him though, nothing was showing up, meaing that there was not a material to be spotted in sight. As a result, he found nothing, and if he returned with nothing, that would have looked extremely unfortunate for him. Bailing out for a bit all for nothing, how lovely things were turning out.

Aereth chuckled at how @Sey dashed off to a random direction and said that he would be fine without Keres' help. When he was out of hearing range, Aereth called out to her. "How about you accompany me for the time being and let the boy breathe for a couple of moments?" After that he went away into another direction and continued to search some materials. Even though he had already found all the quest items, he would still need some more tier two materials for his shop because he was always running low on the higher tier materials. "So Keres. It really looks like you're having great fun today. 'Torturing' my guildmate like this..." he chuckled to her and looked for some materials in the near area. With no success this time unfortunately. Domaurs should be done with the ant in some minutes and then they could finally attack more of them together since Aereth had already found all the quest items...

Domarus watched as the Antman was getting riled up now that it's health was in the red zone.  The creature lashed out at Domarus who blocked using his gauntlets, dealing thorn damage.  The creature leaped back from the pain and Domarus charged forward, seeking to get a hit on the stupid monster.  However the creature wasn't stupid and dodged Domarus' ax swiftly and tried to get behind him for a clean strike.  Domarus of course gave the brainless mob no satisfaction and kept it's focus on himself.  He already had two hate on the monster so Aereth should have been clear to strike and finish it off by now.  It seemed though that he decided to talk with Keres instead.  Very well, he'd just need to finish the beast off himself then.  Meanwhile when Sey moved away and insisted that he had it, she was about to burst.  Before she did however, Aereth called for her to come over to him.
"O-oh...  Ok..."  She made it look like she was sad to be separated from him and she kept her body in that state.  However her face, which was concealed from Sey, was stifling with silent laughter.  When Aereth spoke to her she giggled.
"Oh come on, it's lots of fun to mess with guys like that.  And he's sooooooo easy too...  I think I might break soon though.  Ugh, I really don't want him to find out but I feel like he will at some point.  And...  That wouldn't look good for my master......  You think I should tell him Aereth?"  When she asked him it was clear she wanted to keep going but at the same time she was worried about what might happen.

He would then proceed to move towards the west a little before he saw a few glowing light on the ground. Bending his knees, he would find a few materials that could be used for their quest. If not that, at least for him to be able to craft something if they already found the materials before he did. With that, he would place them back in his inventory before then turning back... Taking a nice deep breath in before proceeding to do so, with hesitance of course. It took a little bit though since he ran pretty far... Okay, admittedly, he was more or less lost right now. Opening up the map, he would look to see where the rest of the party was right now. They  seemed to be quite the distance away according to the map, so he must have gone pretty far. Fortunately though, the quest still seemed active, so he was not out of range. So he would walk back towards that direction, it was probably going to take a little while.

Aereth smiled at the maid as she finally choose to be herself again and told him how easy it was to get Sey flustered. He personally enjoyed the company of the sometimes a little bit wired maid but Sey seemed to have some troubles with her. "I have to say that it's quite amusing to watch the whole thing. Yeah,I know him quite some time now and I know that he's not stupid. He'll definitely find out that you're playing with him and maybe you should tell him..." He chuckled once more.

When they came back to the scene of the fight, Domarus already did massive damage to the ant and it was almost dead. "Well, milady would you please excuse me? It seems your master needs some assistance." he told the girl with a smirk and winked to her before unsheathing his blade and activating his Flame Aura. Aereth dashed towards the ant with a sword art at the ready and destroyed it with one swift swipe. After the attack they got the first out of four non material drops for their quest and Aereth smiled. "One down, three more to go. But before we continue we need to find Sey..."

AlsoKeres sighed when Aereth confirmed to her that she should tell Sey.  She nodded and looked to Rhozarth.
"Hey Rozarth!  Any idea where Sey is?"  Rhozarth took flight and once he spotted Sey nodded in that general direction.  Keres nodded and made her way over to him, a grin that had a mix of apology and humor in it.  When she spotted Sey she wasn't sure how to start off.  So she just went straight to the point.
"Hey uh, Sey.  About earlier, I'm sorry about that...  Well half sorry I'll admit.  I like to mess around with people and you were just so easy I couldn't help myself.  Could we still be friends?"  Keres, after receiving her answer, would escort/lead Sey back to the others.  If Sey said they could still be friends, along the way she'd look to him with a smile.
"I'm being totally and completely honest when I say this to you:  You're so cute when you're embarrassed."   Meanwhile, Domarus watched as Aereth came in and finished off the antman.  Domarus nodded to the player.  While he disliked it, he needed Aereth to help him destroy the monsters until he could find a better way to land hits on them.
"Alright then.  However it looks like Keres has already done that for us.  Come on let's find another monster so we can clear the quest.  After this maybe the four of us could get a drink?"

Keres would arrive a few moments later, quickly getting to the point and explaining how it was an act... The delivery of it was definite commendable, and she explained it in probably the best way she could. A bit more time and Sey might have figured out what was going on, and him learning the truth would have a different result. It must have taken a lot of courage to admit what she did. "Hm..." His head would tilt to the side as the tip of his pointer right finger would be placed on his chin. "Yeah, sure. I don't see a reason why not. You told me straight up anyways, so... Yeah." with that, he gave her his first genuine smile before they continued to walk, only for her to comment on him being "cute" when he was flustered, in which a shade would cover his eyes as he would let out a forced chuckle. "Ha ha ha, very funny." Yup, he was not going to live that down for a little while.

Three more Antmen and they would be done with this quest. Aereth could sweat that they changed something in the system, because it was way easier to get non material drops than it was some weeks ago. On the other hand they could only be very lucky as well. Dismissing the thoughts for now, he turned to Domarus and answered him. "Yeah, hopefully we only need to kill three more mobs and we are done here. And I'm definitely in for a drink." After today all of them would have earned themselves a good drink. The quest on this floor was no pushover, but working together ensured them a quick and safe completion of the hard quest. And at the end of the day all of them would also gain one or even more levels.

Aereth's eyes glowed for a split second after activating his search skill, and spotted another set of five perfect materials. He crouched down, and stored them into his inventory.

Keres looked at Sey when he replied to her comment about him being cute.  She smiled at him.  Oh that poor innocent little thing.
"I was being honest."  And it was true.  The player was cute when embarrassed and that only made it that much easier to get to him.  She enjoyed that fact and there was no reason to make it up.  She saw Aereth with Domarus and the foe defeated.  She waved happily to the players.  Domarus looked at the two and figured out what must have happened.
"Sorry about the trouble she caused you Sey.  It's just a part of her unique and weird nature."  In truth, it was only the tip of the iceberg.  Keres reveled in pain, in all forms.  She enjoyed the torturing sensation it gave her and craved it.  Pain was her addiction, her drug.  Domarus turned to Aereth who seemed rather happy with how things were going now.  Domarus nodded and began scanning for a new enemy to take on.  He spotted one a good ways away and began to make his way over to it.
"Alright Aereth, how about we finish this quest?  Three to go correct?  Let's knock these out then."

Well, there was a lot of things that could have been worse. And if this quest was ever going to get done, he was going to have to buckle down and they were going to have to look for some more encounters to engage in. Once they did that, they should have this quest patched up and locked. Surprisingly enough, this seemed a lot easier than expected i only the two of the others were able to do it alone. Sey currently was useless, but that was only partially his fault. Besides, they did not seem to need a healer in the first place either, so that was a plus as well. So now they just needed to continue on with the search, was that not correct? With this said and done, he would place his hands in his pockets, awaiting for the next step of action to be revealed to them, and he would then act accordingly. It was going to be easy with the full group now instead of part of it.

Aereth started to laugh as soon as Domarus mentioned Keres' unique and wired nature. Even though he also didn't know the full extent of her nature, he knew Keres better than Sey. "Yeah, but once you get used to her, she's a pleasant person to talk with." It was no lie. Aereth liked the conversations they shared in the past, and even though most of those conversations was just senseless back and forth teasing, she was a smart person, with the ability to see the problems of persons in combination with not being shy to talk about those problems. But for now they needed to focus back on the quest. "Yeah, let's do this!" he said and they started to search for another Antmen they could slay.

It didn't take them long to find their next target. Another huge Antman was standing in front of a hole that lead underground. "Maybe this one is guarding the entrance or so..." Aereth thought before turning to Domarus. "You see that one. Try to land a hit, and lure it away from the entrance, to minimize the risk of luring out more of those mobs." he told him in a calm voice.

Domarus turned to look at Aereth as he spoke, mentioning how after getting used to her she was very pleasant to converse with.  Domarus stared at Aereth for a moment.  In his mind, Aereth and himself were the only ones who could truly get used to Keres and her behavior so far in the game.  He couldn't imagine others getting used to her actions and words.  And her conversations were filled with teases, jokes at other's expenses, and when the timing was right, very very dark thoughts.  However in the end he simply shrugged.
"If that boy could ever get used to Keres' true nature then color me impressed.  I'm honestly surprised you and Keres get along in the first place."  He thought of something and grinned under his helmet, leaning in towards Aereth to whisper it to the man.

"Maybe you could help keep her off of him.  You know, keep her attention on you and all to save him the trouble."  He chuckled as they moved on.  When Aereth spotted another monster he seemed a little excited, however he showed his strategic mind once again as he whispered to Domarus to lead the monster elsewhere so that they could minimize the chance of more monsters emerging from the entrance.  Domarus nodded and charged the monster.  The creature looked at the huge man with shock before shooting it's hand forward and striking Domarus, the damage not being much and the creature cutting itself deep from his thorns.  Instantly after that attack Domarus released Screw Dimension and dealt devastating damage to the monster, then shot his left arm out, grabbed it, and threw it several yards away from the entrance.  With that done he began to slowly walk back over to the monster.

"Yeeeah... I guess you can say we got over it..." There was a lot more for him to do, as of right now, he was having the words of the blonde haunt him for quite a while. It was gaining more and more control, and Keres in no way was even helping him with it, but making the problem far worse instead. He would try to focus on attacking, leaping forward at the monster with the spear coated in blue light, showing that he was aiming to have a sword art triggered. But upon swinging, he would end up missing at it would neatly evade his attack. Was his game off? Eh, it was probably simply due to the fact that he did not have his accuracy on him, and concentration did not seem to help him out either as well considering how much he missed by in the first place. He would step back towards the group, letting Aereth take the wheel instead of continuing a needless barrage that he couldn't start.

Aereth chuckled with Domarus about his comment on keeping Keres' attention on him for now, in order to make Sey a little bit more comfortable. When they finally found the second ant, and Domarus attacked it, Aereth turned around and faced Keres. "Milady, would you please stay close to me in order to make it easier for your knight to protect you?" he said with a sly grin on his face. After that he gave Sey a sing to attack the ant, and changed his equipment. He now wore both of his rings in combination with his armor and a vanity sword. Right now he neeeded the extra accuracy as well as the boost for getting the right loot from the mob.

Shooting a short wink to Keres he also sped towards the almost dead enemy, and unleashed a sword art. Thanks to Sey 'failed' attack, Aereth found a perfect opening and was able to kill off the ant without problems. "Two down, two more to go." he said while walking back to the rest of his group.

Keres heard Aereth call for her and she smirked in the way he said it.  She walked over to him, out of Sey's hearing range.
"You sure that's the only reason you want me close?"  She wrapped her arms around his left one, hugging it loosely with a grin on her face.  If she was being honest with herself, she had been going very easy on Sey.  The player had no idea how cruel she could have been with him.  While Keres was messing around with Aereth, Domarus watched Sey charge and fail, and Aereth finish off the monster.  Focused on the mission, he gave a simple nod.
"Right.  Onto the next one.  This monster didn't drop any non material drops, although the materials were indeed needed, so let's move on."  He scanned the area for another target and saw one emerge from the entrance.  It spotted Domarus instantly and seemed to not understand what he was, nor why he was there.  Then Domarus slammed the butt of his weapon into the ground, causing it to shake and clearly giving the mob a challenge.  The antman roared and charged forward, swinging it's claws at Domarus which he refused to dodge.  According to Sey, the player was a healer, so he had nothing to worry about in that sense.  Not only that but his thorns would assist him in destroying this pathetic creature.  The monster lashed out longer and longer and backed up as it realized that Domarus hadn't budged.
"My turn."  Domarus hooked the blade of his weapon around the abomination and swung his weapon, throwing the monster away from the entrance.  While the monster tried to get up, Domarus walked over and released Screw Dimension, dealing one hundred and fifty six points of damage to the monster.  The creature roared in pain and tried to get up again but Domarus slammed his foot on it's torso and kept it in place.
"Where do you think your going?  You'll be six feet under in a second or two."

He would just let out a sigh and move away. The monster was near the point of death, and they were about to be finished with the whole quest in general. Therefore, he would focus on the battle in hand, prepared to get the drop that came from it, which was to further advance the quest. With this, he would launch himself at the Antman, the enemy being sliced from the sides before it shattered. The third material would end up dropping, meaning that they all had one more to go and they may as well be on their merry way. “Looks like we have it.
