The first thing he noticed was that the wolf followed his scent again. He wasn't discovered as the wolf would be barking at him and trying to leap at him from time to time if it had seen him. No it was simply following a scent. If it was truly determined then it would follow him to the town. Otherwise it would just give up. Itzal looked around for materials and while the area was scarce he saw a group of herbs growing off of the trees close to the edge of the forest. He drew his sword just in case and sped up. The wolf sped up as well which meant it was serious about finding it's prey. Itzal moved faster and faster, nearing the end and when he did Velnia caught on to what he was about to do. Itzal leaped off the last branch, grabbed the materials, inserted them in his inventory, and as he came down twisted mid air to alter his position and stabbed down at the wolf.
