Zandra had been in the latest floor boss fight not many days ago. The unicorn was defeated with the final hit landing from Zandras former lover. She was happy for him, she really was. More then anything, she wanted to walk up to him when the boss shattered and greet him with a hug and kiss on the cheek. But that would have been weird. Specially since both of them had a girlfriend by now. Instead of start exploring the new floor Zandra headed back to Avilon and spent some days with her before advancing upwards. Avilon preferred to farm a bit lower down so Zandra headed to floor 23 on her own. When up there, she sat down on a broken pillar covered in moss. There she looked thru her friendlist. Even if she was strong, adventuring alone was the highest level of stupidy. Thou, who should she ask? Her eyes scanned name after name. ‘’Nope, nope, nope…’’ Until she reached a pretty short name. ‘’That can work.’’

Zandra here, Im planning on doing some exploring on the newly unlocked floor. Would like if you could tag along and we can try out the power of our new axes.

Her first boss fight. All things considered, it hadn't been so bad. A couple members of the Holy Dragon Alliance had their health bars drop pretty low, but her main priority had remained safe through the whole ordeal, which was more than a relief. Teion leaned back, placing her palms flat on either side of her hips where she sat at the drafting table in her quiet smithy, the winds of the fifth floor's blazing afternoon howling past the wooden paneling. A sigh escaped past her lips. "I can't keep sitting here drawing all day if I'm going to keep showing up to those." She spoke to herself in a mumble, staring up at the rafters above her.

The violette blinked in reaction when the familiar 'ping' of a new message rang in her ears, and she instinctively rose a curious eyebrow. She didn't waste any time pulling up its contents, cobalt eyes running over the short dialogue before her brows narrowed slightly above them. "Zandra? Zandra... Ah!" It took her a couple of seconds, but the mention of axes reminded her of the girl with deep plum hair that had passed on her burnt-orange weapon. Her head tilted to one side while a thoughtful frown took over her features. Finally, her shoulders picked up into a shrug, and she reasoned with herself. "Yeah, why not?"

Sure. I don't know my way around there yet, so I'll meet you at the TP gate in Kalanaes.

-Teion

The message she sent was brief and to the point, and so she picked herself up from her bench and reached her arms over her head in a satisfying stretch. Garbed in her now-standard amethyst combat attire, and with the darkened battle-axe resting at her back, Teion made her way from her shop to the teleport plaza where she might meet Zandra on the upper floors.

Zandra sat on the broken pillar, staring at the sky and the rising sun. There she waited for one of the few other two handed battle axe users here in this death game. Actually, it is a pretty good weapon with good stats and access to many great sword arts. So why, why was there so few users? Most of the players here was probably professional gamers before the game even got announced, so it would just be natural for them to check for the weapons with the most optimized stats and fill out parties to cover most available situation they would get stuck in. But well, Zandra didn’t decide how they would pick their weapons and team compositions. But if thinking that way, wasn’t it stupid to invite someone with same kind of weapon type? Well, was a little late to change your mind now. So her focus went back to the sun while waiting for the purple haired girl.

Her first impression of the twenty-third floor was only how very different it was from the one below. Following so many landscapes of death and darkened skylines, the twenty-second practically felt like a sanctuary--an oasis among depressing battlegrounds and lethargic, or outright undead, NPCs. But here she was, back in what looked like an underground city that was even more run-down than she had expected. Any NPCs she crossed paths with were quick to shoot her nasty looks, making it very clear how unwelcome she was in the Elves' home. Quickly moving past them, Teion's head turned as she scanned the area for other players, but any figures she could spot without pointed ears and silvery hair did not resemble what she remembered of Zandra from their past brief encounters. Frowning, she decided against her better judgement to stray away from the gate she had called to meet at in order to search for the woman.

Only a few minutes of travel brought her to the inclines that would lead her above ground. With a touch of surprise that the floor wasn't entirely made of caves like some she'd seen before, Teion emerged to the growing light of the sunrise peeking out over the horizon of mountain ranges in the distance. She squinted at the sight, and let her gaze wander like her feet carrying her through the plains until she set her sights on the armored woman who seemed to be waiting. Recognizing Zandra, Teion lifted a hand to chest-level in short greeting. "Hey, found you." She declared, placing a hand on her hip once she'd closed the gap between them. "So, you have anything in mind? Or will we just be looking for stray monsters to take down?" She asked, getting straight to the point.
