She knew what it was that she wanted to do today. There was a certain quest that she heard was a giant pain in the ass, but she wanted to get it done. She needed her little slithering friend. She had a snake in the real world, why not get her friend in the game as well. She smirked at the thought of being able to have a snake as her familiar, why wouldn't that be amazing? She knew what it was that she was going to train the familiar to do right now too.

Accuracy, but first, she was headed out of the room that she had stayed in for the night. After getting her familiar, she was going to get herself a profession and a shop. Just because she had evil intents, didn't mean that she wasn't able to help still. But right now, familiar. She looked around the main square of the town, trying to see if she could find that blasted Gypsy that was suppose to start this horrid quest.

Why does this blasted town have to be so damn large? Was it too much to think of the players and make it small, and not a damn maze?!

Her thoughts were being mimicked by the stance that she was walking in at this point. She wasn't in the best of moods to have to hunt down this NPC, but here she was, hunting down a Gypsy that she didn't even want to listen to but would have to when she found her. These quests can't just be some simple thing of grab it off a quest board and go. No, she had to wait for some stupid NPC to find her, or she find the NPC. What kind of crap luck did the game want her to have?

Wait, wasn't I just down this walk way? She sighed as she opened her map and made herself a custom marker to the center of this maze of a place. God, she wanted to get off this floor, she knew that much. Once she got herself a profession set up, she wasn't staying on this floor.

Even though she's been moving around the town gathering all of the information that she could before she decided to get back out in the fields, she still couldn't find her way around this town. That was sad wasn't it? She didn't truly care, she just wanted to get on the road and figure out what it was that she was about to get for a companion. But first, she scanned the middle of town when she finally got there, her eyes stopping on the old gypsy woman with a quest marker.

Finally. Lethia didn't waste time as she walked over to the woman, literally pushing people out of her way at this point. She was irritated and wanted to kill something, and if people weren't careful, it was going to be them the moment that they stepped out of the safe zone. Reaching the NPC, she put a hand on the shoulder of the old woman. "Familiar quest, now."

"Oh you look like you are in the need for a pet and a companion..." Blah, blah, blah. They weren't kidding when they said that this woman could go on for hours about this quest. Lethia patiently waited for the gypsy to finally stop talking. "So, can I have the food now or what?" The gypsy had a sly smile on her face, "Only if you can answer a single question." Oh. My. God. "What it is old woman?"

"What do you need to tame the familiar once you find it?" Was this some sort of trick question? Sure, Lethia didn't look like she had been paying attention, but she was. "The food you need to hand me. So, can I have it now?" The gypsy just stared at Lethia for a moment before thrusting some Familiar Food into her hands, "Here." The woman walked away, muttering something about young people and not having manners. This just made Lethia shrug as she turned and started to head toward the town's exit.

The walk to the town's exit seemed to be simple enough, and the moment that she was out of the safe zone, she grabbed her dagger from her hip and held it tightly in her right hand. She wasn't about to be surprised, nope, she was going to do the surprising. She walked for a few minutes before she saw the marker of a monster near by. She smiled an evil looking smile before she went to go for it. She started to channel Round Accel, but just as she started to run around the boar that she was targeting, it charged her.

The boar timed it's attack perfectly, hitting her right in the gut just before she could use her skill and she watched as her dagger's blade turned from black to the silver that it normally was and she was on her ass on the ground. She looked at the boar and there was literal murder in her eyes are this point. The boar had done messed up.

The boar went for her again, only this time, she rolled away while still on the ground. She quickly regained her composure and rose to her feet, watching the boar. She knew that it's back was turned as it tried to figure out where she went, and she smirked before she rushed forward and stabbed the dagger right into the boar's left flank. She heard it squeal in pain before she noticed the it wasn't able to move once more. She moved back and saw that Bleed had been applied to the boar as well.

Well, looks like I don't even need to do anything. She knew that between the paralyze and the bleed, she wasn't going to have to actually hit the boar again. So, instead of doing anything, she just sat down and ran her finger over the side of her dagger's hilt. She was going to have quite the show right now.

Leaning against the rock that was behind her, she watched the boar as it waited to be able to move. Got to love that paralyze factor. But within moments, the tick from her bleed went off and she watched as the last of the boar's health dropped to nothing. Moments later, the boar was a cloud of blue fragments blowing away in the gentle breeze. She looked at the loot window that popped up for her and she frowned. Well, that's not going to help me a lot. Oh well.

She rose to her feet and she moved the dagger in her hand so that she was holding it by it's hilt once more. She started to walk, trying to see what it was that she was going to encounter next. She was curious and well, she wanted to see what the world around her was going to do to try and make her life horrible.

The walk seemed to be peaceful, she didn't like it. Peaceful meant that nothing was happening and nothing happening meant that she was going to get bored as all holy hell, and she didn't want to be bored. She wanted to kill something. Well, she still wanted to kill someone along with it, but she had to wait and bide her time on that one. At least the kid wasn't following her around anymore. Though, it had been slightly depressing to have to break off that friendship, Madeline had been so easy to use.

You know, that might end up biting me in the ass later. Oh well. There was that carefree self that Lethia had created so long ago in her life. Having to raise herself and two younger brothers would do that to a woman after all. But, she did wonder if she was going to be lonely in this game forever. No matter how much she might like it, it would get lonely. And this was the reason for her hunting down a familiar.

Her peaceful and dreadful walk was starting to take it's toll on her mindset really. She just wanted to try and kill something and try to tame something. But neither of these things were happening at the moment and it was quite annoying to her really. She just wanted to be able to do what she wanted to do, and yet she couldn't because she was stuck in this game that didn't seem to like her right now.

Of course, that luck was slowly changing as she saw an orange marker of a monster before her and she smirked. She started to slow her pace to get a feel for the boar that she found and she started to channel Round Accel into her dagger. The moment she knew that it was safe to use, she dashed and started to run in circles around the boar, only her stabs missed the boar. She grumbled at this as she stopped and she felt the boar headbutt her. She moved back a few feet and she winced, that hurt a bit.

She was a bit slow getting up off of her ass, mainly because that hit from the boar hurt a bit, and she didn't like it at all. She glared at the boar as she got back on her feet and she made a growling sound as she dashed for the boar. She managed to dodge the boar's attack that he rushed at her with, only to stab her dagger right into the dagger's side.

Mid run, she watched as the boar soon stopped in it's place, unable to move anymore. This was also when her bleed showed on the boar's status bar as well. She stopped running and she fell back onto the ground and she sighed. These fights didn't seem to be easy did they. She wondered why it felt so easy to want to kill Nephthys, but killing a boar was so damn hard. She looked at the boar, who was still stunned in place and she chuckled.

She didn't really bother to get up off the ground. She knew that with the boar's turn, he was going to die. Besides, watching the boar try to fight the paralysis that it was under was kind of amusing. How long can a boar twist and turn before it is able to get away? With her enhancements, never. She watched as the boar moved more than normal, meaning that it's paralysis was almost up.

But the moment that the paralysis left the status boar of the boar, she watched as a tick of the bleed too the remaining health from the boar. She smirked once more as she watched the boar turn into a cloud of fragments, only to float away in the wind like the previous one. It was amusing to her, and she wondered if a players fragments would do the same thing. That might be a bit dark for her to think, but that is what she was wondering.

Not wanting to really get up, she laid back in the grass instead. She would take this one moment of peace and quiet, just to regenerate her energy. If she would have had all of her energy, she wouldn't feel the need to lay back and relax. In fact, just laying like this for five minutes bugged the hell out of her. She didn't like it. She was too idle. That meant that someone else could get the drop on her and that was something that she wanted to keep from happening.

Rising to her feet, she stretched and felt her back pop lightly and straighten out a bit. That felt nice. She looked around as she lowered her hands to her sides, trying to figure out which direction it was that she was going to want to go in. But, that was decided as soon as she saw the orange marker of another monster.

She slowly made her way to the boar that she had spotted. She felt well rested, and she wanted to kill something. So this boar was going to be the thing that got killed right now. Clutching her dagger in her hand, the blade of it turned a dull grey as she got closer. She wasn't using a sword art this time, she was just going to attempt to stab the thing and see if it dies.

As she got closer to it, she moved to hit the boar with her dagger, only for the boar to move soon enough to be able to dodge her attack. It soon retaliated and when it's head connected with her gut, she grunted as she moved a few steps back. This boar was going to be playing the hard game then. She staggered back a few steps still to put some distance between herself and this boar, as she watched it to try and come up with a plan.

Okay, she had her bearings about herself once more, but she just needed to figure out what she was going to do about this boar. It was apparently just being too damn stubborn and she didn't like it much at all. She sucked in a deep breath before she charged the boar, and just as she thought she was about to miss the boar, she managed to still slash the side of it with her dagger. That was a hit!

She was excited about this, that meant that the thing lost some health and she would be able to work with this. Lethia moved away from the boar just as she watched it fall over onto it's side. Apparently the boar didn't know what had hit it, literally, so it was confused, trying to figure out why it's side was hurting. Either way, it's health was down more, and she knew that she could finish this, or so she hoped.

She was down some health, but the boar was down most of it's health. This was going over well for her really, which was a nice thing. She looked at the boar and she started to get ready to attack it once more, only to notice that there was something running at them both. She quickly jumped out of the way, forgetting all about the combat that she was in for the moment. What ran by was a deer being attacked by a snake, wasn't that cool.

The boar, it had forgotten about the fight as well it seems because the boar had moved out of the way of the rampaging deer. That poor deer, but in this case, thank you for making sure that she wasn't about to get hit again, even if you did ruin her attack in the process. Her mind was whirling at this fact before she turned her attention from the running deer to the boar that was focusing on her once more.

The fight was back on, whether the two opponents looked like it was or not. Lethia? Well she was currently looking at the boar wondering if the thing had a weak spot yet. Of course, she couldn't tell, so instead of just waiting to figure it out the hard way, she charged forward, only for the boar to move out of the way of her attack. She mumbled a curse under her breath as she turned to look at the boar.

Her quick turn seemed to throw the boar's vertigo off though as it tried to go after her and instead just, fell over. That was something wasn't it? She didn't know what she had truly done to deserve the boar falling over like that, but she was kind of hoping to have it happen again, only next time with her actually hitting the thing. Wishful thinking right? That is what she was holding onto though, wishful thinking.

She wasn't like how thing was going for her so far. It was horrible and not at all in her favor. This was not how the fight was supposed to be going. But here she was, getting her ass kicked by a boar. At least she was kicking it's ass too. But, as she went to hit it again with her dagger, the boar moved out of the way, making Lethia look like a snail with her speed. This wasn't something that the woman liked really. So, as she re-positioned herself to be able to attack again, she forgot that she should defend as well for a moment.

The boar was quickly running at her at this point, it's head low to the ground as it ran right for her. She tried to move out of the way, but she wasn't fast enough, and instead was hit right in the hip by the boar.

Lethia moved quickly to try and re-position herself to be able to hit this boar. She was going to win this, she just knew it, or so she hoped. Let's face it, the dice gods don't like her in this fight. But that wasn't going to stop her from trying still, mainly because she wanted to be sure that things went how she wanted them to. Or, you know, she doesn't die. Not dying sounds amazing. Either way though, she started to rev herself up to attack this boar.

But just as she moved to attack the boar, it tried to move away from her. She extended her arm though and still managed to hit the boar, just as it threw it's head into her side. This hit caused her to hit the ground and roll, and that was when she saw her health drop to a very uncomfortable level of low.

She wasn't going to risk this fight anymore. She was dangerously close to losing the last of her heath, and she didn't want to deal with that. So, slowly rising to her feet, she started to turn in the opposite direction of the boar and started to attempt to run away. She got a good distance from the boar, which caused it to be unable to hit her with it's attack, but it was still following her, trying to kill her still.

What was this boar made of? How in the hell was it this strong and resilient? She didn't know really, but she did know that she wanted to be away from the boar. Thankfully, it wasn't trying to attack her just yet, so she took a moment to catch her breath before she looked to a direction that would be safe for her to run to. She had to get away, and with her life.

She tried once more, the moment that she had her breath back, she took off like a bullet. She was going to escape this boar, and she wasn't going to look back at it. That is exactly what happened too. By the time she felt safe from running from the boar, she looked around and noticed that she was now in a forest. Well, this was going to keep the boars away at least, so that was nice for her. She saw a log though and she walked over to it and sat down, attempting to catch the breath that she had lost.

She didn't think that a fight with a boar was going to be that hard. Who in the heck would have made that fight go easier? Probably a better weapon, or something with accuracy, but that was beyond the point at this moment. Instead, she was more worried about making sure that she had the things that she needed to be able to gather her wits to continue walking, which she didn't have on her just yet.
