Elora 0 Posted Tuesday at 01:08 AM #1 Share Posted Tuesday at 01:08 AM (edited) The gentle cadence of a wrist stirring an aromatic tea below roused the slew of little rocks from their programed bout of drowsiness. Crisp steam billowed upwards, condensing along the rounded pebbles as peppermint fragrance welcomed the beginning of another day. They hadn't always started this way. Sometimes, Borris would find himself in hot pursuit of a vagabond bust bunny, rumbling across the rickety floorboards with the determination of an underdog racer. Other times, he would awaken within the translucent tunnels of a gathered bedspread, ever-shifting as its narrow passageways opened and closed around the unpredictable dance of stirring limbs. But today....ahhhh, today was peaceful. Except -- A sudden jerk yoinked him away from his routinely sauna as comforting dewdrops flung from his porous surface. There was a wave of panic, followed by the usual confirmation of a high-pitched whine. Heat rapidly encased him as emotion thrummed through a morse code of heartbeats. Elora was shocked -- afraid. No, angry..........excited...? Chair legs creaked and squealed like chalk on pavement as his player abandoned her seat in search of...something...perhaps, someone. In the blink of an earth, he was transported to a cosmos of colors. Musty scents and elaborate patterns smudged in space as the two of them embarked on a desperate journey. Their only objective? To heed the call of another invigorating quest. *** Elora | HP: 760/760 | EN: 110/110 | DMG: 21 | MIT:78 | ACC:5 | AA | EVA:1 | BH:38 | REC: 4 | FLN: 8 | BLI: 32/-20 | STC: 40 | LD:2 Spoiler Name: Elora True Tier: 5 Level: 33 Paragon Level: 15 HP: 760/760 EN: 110/110 Stats: Damage: 21 Mitigation: 78 Accuracy: 5 Evasion: 1 Battle Healing: 38 Loot Die: 2 Stealth Rating: -2 AA REC: 4 FLN: 8 BLI: 32/-20 STC: 40 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Essential Verdigris (T4 Dem Polearm | AA | BGT | FLN | STC) Armor/Trinket: - Defense Mechanism (T4 Dem LA | MIT 2, REC 2) Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Emerald (T4 Dem Trinket | ACC 3, EVA 1) Combat Mastery: - Combat Mastery: Damage R3 Combat Shift: - AOE Shift Familiar Skill: - Scouting Familiar Custom Skill: - Skills: - Battle Healing R5 - Charge - Energist - Light Armor R5 - Polearm R5 - Searching R2 Extra Skills: - Concentration Inactive Extra Skills: Addons: - Focus - Precision - Resolve - Stamina Mods: - Meticulous Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: - T1 Healing Potion x5 - T1 Overhealth Potion x5 - Teleportation Crystal x1 Housing Buffs: - Bedroom: -1 energy cost for the first two expenditures of each combat - Bathroom: The first time you would suffer DoT damage in a thread, reduce damage taken from DoT each turn by 20% (rounded down) - Basic Kitchen: Increase the effectiveness of a single food item consumed in a thread by +1 T1 slot. Freyd 0 Posted Tuesday at 02:03 AM #2 Share Posted Tuesday at 02:03 AM (edited) Shiny bits and bobs flew all about in fanciful arcs and the whizbang of hurtling mayhem shooting in every direction overhead. This new shambler took him to all the best places! Always full of action with delectable goodies to be explored, occupied, or infested, in the nicest possible ways. Currently romping about the milling clawed feet of a dozen skittering tall-ies, this latest batch seemed especially keen on dancing with his monochromatic new friend. They also made the bestest popping noises whenever their dance ended, complete with shiny showers and the glittering promise of coins. Some even dropped some smattering of new stuff for him to collect. So cool! Where did they keep their pockets, he wondered, thinking they must be internal, and how he needed to learn how to do that. Reliq's latest find was an elaborately barnacled slop bucket, which he'd giddly donned like some sort of pirate-wannabe hermit crab. Stained and skinking, he wore it with pride while weaving about the battlefield. Naively delighting in the melee and mayhem, he could only think of it as some sort of elaborate playground. The tiny inky purple mimic buzzed all about, gathering the loot dropped by the big bug thingies whenever they became all sparkly. Slapstick tentacles flailing beneath him propelled the miniature monster to the sound of the death knell of bubble wrap on speed, or unfortunate aftermath of an excessive dose of refried beans. Playing fetch with loot sprayed about with the pace of a gatling gun made it all even better. And the fans really sold it! Running about with their gangly limbs waving manically about like that. So fun! Delightful wailing and cries rose like music to his nubby little ears, horrific ecstasy strewn across their faces while they streaked towards the shiny nearby archway. It almost made him feel bad when one of them tripped over him amidst the whizzing chase, hefting his latest temporary housing high into the miasmic air. In a moment of blighted clarity, all he could see was this giant, bloodshot yellow eye glowering to trace his skyward movements across the blackened air, starkly contrasted against the starless skies above,. The rest of its monstrous bulk concealed by Ilridge's ever-oppressive dark. **GONG** A solid ricochet off the steeple bell rent Reliq from his bucket. He flew left, while it mostly went bye-bye, splintering into a smelly cloud of desiccated shrapnel to rain over the remaining revelers below. Sailing deeper into the random dark, as he plummeted back toward cobblestones, all anyone else could make out from above was a mewling, burbling eldritch screech sounding strangely like a whistle failing pathetically to blow but evoking only the wettest and highest pitched of wet farts. *** Freyd | HP: 1300/1300 | EN: 162/162 | DMG: 21 | MIT:152 | ACC: 5 (inc.AA) | TAUNT | F-SPIRIT | EVA:2 | BH:72 | VAMP-D: 72 | VAMP-O: 143 | PARA-V | LD:5 Spoiler Name: Freyd, of the Freyloras True Tier: 18 Level: 34 Paragon Level: 144 HP: 1300/1300 EN: 162/162 Stats: Damage: 21 Mitigation: 152 Accuracy: 4+AA Evasion: 2 Battle Healing: 72 Loot Die: 5 Stealth Rating: -5 TAUNT VAMP-D: 72 VAMP-O: 143 PARA-V Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Veritas | T4 Katana) | AA, PVO I, VO I, Taunt Armor/Trinket: - Negare Omnia | T4 HA | MIT III | VD I Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Night Shades | T3 Trinket | ACC III | EVA I Combat Mastery: - Combat Mastery: Damage R3 Combat Shift: - AOE Shift Familiar Skill: - Grappling Familiar (Reliq) Custom Skill: - Shades of the Gemini (CS) - Beckon the Void (CSA) Skills: - Battle Healing R5 - Charge - Energist - Extended Mod Limit - Extended Weight Limit - Fighting Spirit - Heavy Armor R5 - Howl - Katana R5 - Quick Change - Searching R4 Extra Skills: - Disguise - Survival - Meditation - Brawler Inactive Extra Skills: - Leadership R5 - Forgotten King's Authority - Lady Luck - Photosynthesize - Assault Mode - Frozen Hide Addons: - Focus - Focused Howl - Iron Skin - Precision - Reveal - Stamina Mods: - Detect - Impetus - Night Vision - Press the Attack - Tracking Inactive Mods: - Elusive - Emergency Recovery - Inspiring Speech - Rally - Steadfast Battle Ready Inventory: - Bear Trap (Reusable 1/combat) x1 - Bear Trap (Reusable 1/combat) x1 - Crystal of Divine Light (Reusable 1/thread) x1 - Mass HP Rec [Inst] (+10% HP) x8 - Meathook (Reusable 1/combat) x1 - Ordsea Crystal-B (Reusable 1/combat) x1 - Ordsea Crystal-B (Reusable 1/combat) x1 - Rhino's Horn (Reusable 1/combat) x1 - Samael's Pride | T4 Katana | FLN II | HLY II x1 - Teleport Crystals x7 Housing Buffs: - Bedroom: -1 energy cost for the first two expenditures of each combat - Bathroom: The first time you would suffer DoT damage in a thread, reduce damage taken from DoT each turn by 20% (rounded down) - Basic Kitchen: Increase the effectiveness of a single food item consumed in a thread by +1 T1 slot. Katoka 0 Posted Tuesday at 04:05 AM #3 Share Posted Tuesday at 04:05 AM The garden just shy of the slime farm had always been the best place to get consistent sunlight. This was the spot that Hanami loved to curl up in when at home, napping and purring like a cat. She dreamed of cherry blossoms, and of chasing dragonflies when she heard a voice calling her. Her ears twitched but she remained in her makeshift nest, determined to stay warm. The voice called again, louder this time. The tone told the furry dragon that she would not get to continue with her rest. With a huff she rose, stretching her body out and letting out a yawn, had her human been in sight she would called it a big stretch while lengthening the words unnecessarily. Taking flight the creature serpentined through the air until she stopped near the blonde women, letting out a chirp to let her know she was there. Hanami's human smiled, though she could tell it was for show. She could feel that something was bothering her. "There you are. We have to go, something is wrong." The dragon didn't need any further instruction. With a huff of acknowledgement she slithered around the players arm before resting snugly around her bicep and under her shirt sleeve. With a flash she sank into the woman's flesh and assumed her tattoo form. Hanami enjoyed traveling with her human like this. Being apart of her made the familiar feel warm in much that same way sunning herself did. Though she couldn't see much, she could help her human when she called for it, and then when they got home she could eat tasty treats and nap more. The dragon could feel the blonde woman running for a long period of time, stopping only to change direction or to send a message. It didn't take her long to get to the bright light pedestal. Hanami was not fond of how much the light stung her eyes, but it always took them to interesting places after the flash. This place however was not fun. It smelled of foul fish and even fouler sea water. There was shouting, mixed with the sharp tangs of weapons striking things. There was a battle of some sorts taking place. Her human took off as she always did, moving much faster than the furry creature ever could on her own. Hitting things and cutting other creatures until they shattered like the cups that she liked to sometimes knock off of counters for no particular reason. There was an impact of some sort. Something large hitting the blonde human with enough force that it knocked the wind out of her. Her body sailed though the air before smashing into something that caused Hanami to be knocked free from her human's nice warm body. With a thud and a crash the dragon somehow had broken a window to some dilapidated building and now rested in a heap on the floor. ---- Katoka | HP: 840/840 | EN: 118/118 | DMG: 23 | MIT:78 | ACC:5 | EVA:1 | BH:46 | REC: 8 | FLN: 16 | HLY: 16 Spoiler Name: Katoka, The Cerulean Storm True Tier: 7 Level: 34 Paragon Level: 30 HP: 840/840 EN: 118/118 Stats: Damage: 23 Mitigation: 78 Accuracy: 5 Evasion: 1 Battle Healing: 46 Stealth Rating: -2 REC: 8 FLN: 16 HLY: 16 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Muramasa's Legacy | T4/Demonic/Katana | Holy II, Fallen II Armor/Trinket: - Oni Haori | T4/Demonic/Light Armor | MIT 2, REC 2 Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Aquamarine | T4 Demonic Trinket | ACC III, EVA I Combat Mastery: - Combat Mastery: Damage R3 Combat Shift: - ST Shift Familiar Skill: - Rending Familiar Custom Skill: - Skills: - Battle Healing R5 - Energist - Extended Weight Limit - Katana R5 - Light Armor R5 Extra Skills: - Survival - Concentration - Parry - Forgotten King's Authority - Photosynthesize Inactive Extra Skills: - Frozen Hide Addons: - Ferocity - Precision - Resolve - Stamina Mods: - Meticulous - Vengeful Riposte Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: - Crystal of the Blood Dragon Horde | Mass HP recovery 10% x4 - Rhino's Horn | 235487c x5 - Teleportation Crystal x1 - Tincture of Recovery | HP Recovery 15% x5 - Trolls Blood | 235486c x1 Housing Buffs: - Bedroom: -1 energy cost for the first two expenditures of each combat - Bathroom: The first time you would suffer DoT damage in a thread, reduce damage taken from DoT each turn by 20% (rounded down) - Basic Kitchen: Increase the effectiveness of a single food item consumed in a thread by +1 T1 slot. Elora 0 Posted yesterday at 01:37 AM Author #4 Share Posted yesterday at 01:37 AM Clamoring and chaos all around, an abrupt contrast to the serenity of their secluded forest home. Valkyrie cries from above ushered in the calculated swings of an emerald spear. Cool and ornate, its serrated edges cut crude gauges through the bodies of the swarming meat-stuff. Screams called the blade to retreat from its holster as its wielder spun to regard another group. For only a moment, she appeared to hesitate. Frantic steps staggered backwards, then carried her forward once again. "SOD OFF!!", cried Elora. Suddenly, her fingers had curled around his body. In a single motion of brute force, his magnetic bindings had severed, his disparate stones soaring through the air in a bombardment of biblical proportion. It wasn't long before his head reverberated with a deafening metal "TWANGNGNG". Soon, an impact would find his shoulders, then his arms, and finally, his legs. Like a pouch of dilapidated marbles, they poured across the ground. Scattered in every direction, each explored the subtle characteristics of an unfamiliar terrain. Shoulder was pleasantly surprised by the soft landing that followed a series of ricochets against wooden supports. Arm was concerned by how quickly a collection of goo had halted its roll. And Leg... Where was Leg? Head did its best to keep an earth to the ground, fashioning the overwhelming onslaught of armored clangs and metal scrapings into a sort of sensory landmark. Luckily, Arm was not too far off. Eager to reassemble, the lone rock tilted toward the leftward commotion, then began to... Strange...it felt as if he was being pulled toward something. But the grooves of his gravel weren't stuck in the slimy substance, just simply plopped atop it. He supposed that Shoulder might have more information. Reluctant to leave its oversized heating pad, the other rock thudded across a stretch of rickety floorboards. This place was quiet, insulated from the dangers posed to the other pieces. Exactly the sort of clue that could help him regain his bearings. The little pebble embarked on its survey, traversing the woodgrains in search of a path. If players had walked here, there would be a pattern, a steady slope that gradually descended toward an eventual exit.
Freyd 0 Posted 23 hours ago #5 Share Posted 23 hours ago "Thbbbbbbbbbttttt...." came the raspberry tune of external tongue-filled delight as it fleshily wagged in his racing wake. The indigo blob flailed toothy tentacles all about and whizzed across dark and broken streets. Soaking up mayhem like Pacman would candy pellets, Reliq jumped from randomly discarded flotsam to jetsam as if each were a priceless piece of discarded artwork left behind for him to unearth and cherish. Each needed all of his love and attention, for about 2.3 seconds. Then it became the next shiny bauble's turn, and the next, and so forth. "Reeee... heeeheee..." Gleefully manic and utterly unbothered by the pervasive doom and gloom of their surroundings, the tiny monstrosity reveled in life's sheer existence like it was the very best... thing... ever! A battered pot, rotten basket, or even a particularly punky floorboard with exceptionally wondrous whorl patterns around its knots. Each held its own glorious magnificence and fun in the brief span of his absentee attention. Even a completely chance rock, rumbling around on its own, or stuck on some strangely unidentifiable sludge, might draw his critter's interests. And so, it did. Too small for Reliq to inhabit, the mimic peered upon the new thing's etched and polished surface from many angles, using many eyes. Most opened not where they should be, blinking and winking unexpectedly all around his rubbery purple flesh. Spasming suddenly, spooked by the shrill sound of an ominous clarion call in the distance, reflexes jerked and rock friend went flying. And a new game was born. Poor Leg never stood a chance. Cast as the ball in some bizarre hybrid combination of every imaginable related and unrelated sport, Leg was felled and flung dozens of times over as the player who'd made it a toy resumed its oblivious romp across the blighted charnel field that had once been some quaint and beautiful fishing village. A great clawed leg, belonging to some unfathomably large eldritch abomination, then bristled and flattened the ruin next to theirs, just as Reliq had made his latest pitch. Unaware or uncaring of the danger, he bibbled along chasing after it, rushing to prevent the mammoth horror from absconding with his shiny new pet. As if it had possibly even noticed either of them were there...
Katoka 0 Posted 7 hours ago #6 Share Posted 7 hours ago Various sounds of scuffling, banging, and twanging awoke Hanami from her unintended slumber. It took a moment after her eyes focused for her to realize where she was. After being knocked away from her player she had somehow flown through a building and out of a window, ricocheting off of a nearby building and landing in a pile of what seemed to be rags and scraps of clothing. The dragon shook her head and looked around to attempt to assess her surroundings. She was in an alley between two buildings that were in various stages of disrepair. The one just across from her must have been where she had come from since there was a shattered window with glass leading to where she currently rested. With a quick stretch she rose and lifted off the ground ever so slightly, testing to see is she was injured in any way. With a few well placed wiggles and loops she determined that she only had a few scrapes and bruises. Just when Hanami had decided to rise above the buildings before her to get a better view, she noticed a few pebbled rolling of their own accord down the alley way. She cocked her head to the side, perplexed at the sight. Her train of thought completely derailed, she inched closer to the small stones to follow them closely. After a few feet she gained the courage to inch close enough to sniff them. A familiar scent excited her, making her chirp in response. The green haired woman that her player liked to spend time with. Surly if she found her then she would find Katoka! Letting out a purr the dragon snaked through the air, following the small stones that she was now positive belonged to the little rock man called Borris.
