Quest Objective | Roleplay stumbling across the mysterious old tome.

A hop skip and kiss to the love of her life. Breakfast was already made and eaten. Out the door she goes, she had a busy day today. There was a to do this in the guild hall yesterday and she wanted to get a jump on it. Sending out a quick message through the Firm Anima Guild chat saying:

Walking behind the guild hall as her HUD chimes for the message had be sent. She maybe could do it alone but Raidou had it drilled into her head that she needed to be safer than sorry. Munching on a few things as she travels through the misted forest. Kicking something that didn't feel like a rock, glancing down finding that tomb that was needed. Raising a brow, leaning down to pick it up. She would wait for others that would care to show up but for the most part it seemed to be going okay for the moment. In the distance she would hear the monkey's wings flapping in the sky and a weird witchy laughter from the tower she couldn't see yet.

The wanderer was already in the process of being swept to the witch's castle when a sudden message has his attentions pulled away. The army of flying primates are ignored and battered with dismissive slices of his weapon, as his left hand orchestrates his menu to read the contents of Freya's invite. The irony wasn't lost on him, and with a reach to the stone that dangled from his neck his motives would become clear. The necklace begins to glow in a cerulean blue as its held in his palm, and with a muttered phrase he is cast downward two floors below. In the mouth of the arena that he'd been in time and time again, the blonde to which the invite had been sent waiting in earnest for others to join her escapade. "Waiting long?" The wanderer quips softly with a tussle of his glasses up the bridge of his nose, as to not startle her.

The blade in her grip gleamed bright in soft candle light, a small dimly lit chamber her surroundings. On a rod a small ball of cotton held in her left hand, as its dabbed gently across the katana's edge. The glistening oil upon its steel to preserve and care for it, given how many foes it had seen itself drenched in. A prompt and a notification causes her hand to still, and with a turn of her eyes she'd pick apart the context. Those eyes glow faintly in the dark, as they turn to read the message however brief. The blade in her hand seeks a scabbard, sliding shut and locking away the oozing permafrost that had long since blessed that chamber. Returned to her back, it slides in a muted purple sash and is tightened against her skin.

"This will be child's play." The girl murmured to the absent room, unfolding her legs and standing from the floor. Down the stairs and to the guild pad, it flashes bright to send her where she needed to be.

A cup of tea in her left hand, she leans over the back of her longer chair. The red velvet cradling her as she limply drapes over its side, milling a spoon in the cup pressing her cigarette holder into her lips. The message rings in, forcing dreary and lazy eyes to fall upon it. "I suppose..." The woman quips as the twins run back and forth, finding her morning to be rather uneventful and a breath of fresh air inviting. "I am heading out Moro." Simmone remarks to one of the two, catching their ear long enough to be paid a salute. The twin then races off to continue their organization efforts. To a glass case in the corner, the lid is lifted and she pulls free her weapon. Hair tied back in a long ponytail, and a leather bodysuit is slid on behind a three screen divider.

A message is sent back to Freya denoting her expected arrival, knowing full well that not everyone shared that curtesy. The weapon is strapped to her right hip, and a pair of hoop earrings are added to her earlobes. Ready for the thick of it, the woman was on her way.

Within the walls of the arena, the team had already began to gather. Some more late then others, but as the metal gate rose on both ends it was clear that they didn't have time to dawdle. Freya seemed absent minded, Raidou would react when the time came. But the white haired girl, well her approach was far more sudden. Piasuhon hardly escapes the gate before a thin cyan blue line forms in the air, with it a wave of white frost cascades like a blizzard. The beast churns and twists, showing aggression in that coverage. Yet what would show was its own bar, becoming visible and stark amongst its backdrop. Setsuna would appear briefly, blade sliding back shut in only the smallest of glimmering metal. The moment it clicks closed, a massive portion of the creatures bar would disappear as a spray of light would rend itself from an unseen wound. Ice forms around its edges and the thing recoils in agony. The creature in the mist takes two steps, leaps and disperses into fog like a ghost.

A sudden glance to Rai with a smile, "Not at all." The large doors start to rise as she feels a cold chill down her spine. Eye pin the beast as its health pool was already going down. Simmone has just arrived and she could only assume that the iciness was Setsuna. Taking out her weapon, making it flip around in her hands for a moment "Lets go kick some ass" saying as she runs right into the think of it. The last time she was here her and Gaius had gotten into some trouble. They were real problem children back in the day, much like their tiny little fur ball kids. 

As she darts toward the large obnoxious beast he tries to run back at her since she was the only target that could be seen. Freya swings her scythe which catches its horn, she takes advantage of that. Black shadowed mist illuminates from her frame as a distant cackle of chuckles could be heard behind her. Swirling herself up in the air with her weapons curved edge still attached. She pulls the blade lose as she was riding on top of it now. That weapon moves down to its neck like a choke hold as she would slice outward toward the sky. Milli seconds later you see a shadow that follows her every movement do the exact same attack. The only different was that you could see the slightest bit of green flames lightly burning its flesh away as an out pour of data drops to the ground. Doing a flip off the large creature, she didn't want to be the person that it plunged his horn into.

The moment the woman had arrived shit had already become rather chaotic, proving that some of their guild still had little chill. The irony that was met with a shiver, knowing full well that it meant that Setsuna was here. The woman reaches to her brow and begins to nurse her eyebrows with a rub in irritation. Well at least combat would go through easily, but it also meant that there wouldn't be much in time between. Setsuna was about as no nonsense a person could be, even with her almost being half Simmone's age. There wouldn't be any peaceful strolls or small detours, straight to the point that one. Simmone counts her blessings where they began and ended, at least she got out of the house and could get some fresh air.

The rapier on her hip is drawn from its sheathe with a quick whip of her left hand, produced and drawing a line toward her target. The marker looms overhead as Freya carves away at its sorry carcass. The Black cat swells as her eyes shine gold, the gilded rapier in her hand becomes outlined in violet light. Like a dart the woman is fired, sheering hard and fast through the beasts right front leg. Black ichor begins to ooze out the wound, a toxin induced and riddling its insides like serpents venom. It slows and coughs, leaving the woman free to pluck her weapon free.
