Life 0 Posted October 27, 2014 Author #41 Report Share Posted October 27, 2014 He equipped them in an instant, they were very comfortable and he smacked them against the wall, they were also durable although they didn't seem to block damage that well, he guessed they were designed for increased offence. He simpered and continued down the new tunnel. This time it was a dark concrete corridor, it was early and gloomy and made their air thick and damp, he was nearing the exit. The wind started to blow through the dark corridor signalling excitement for his next adventure, thats all it had done for him, in no way did it deter him from continuing down this road... the thought of adventure and difficult battles with honour... it excited him. It was an image like none he'd ever seen, the end of the forest of death... the waters and beautiful green grass baffled him to the most extreme. "This... is nothing like i could have ever imagined" He looked around and found a path that led around the forest and treaded cheerfully along it and slowly picked up pace as his stomach began to rumble. Life 0 Posted October 27, 2014 Author #43 Report Share Posted October 27, 2014 He ran for what seemed like another life time, two days had almost past since the start of the quest but not a shred of regret was in him. He arrived at the town and handed the old man the Snakes fang, the elder looked at him with a smug smile handing over 800 Col to him for his troubles (reward for the two pages) and the whole town came out to thank him. He smiled bashfully and he felt a warmth in his heart "Oh.. hehe it was nothing.." His stomach grumbled and he embarrassedly asked the town elder if he could stay the night and he happily obliged. He ate his fill and laid awake on bed in the warm innkeepers inn thinking back to that sanctuary, now that he thought back hard about it there seemed to be text under the statue "Why didn't i read it... ahhhh" He ruffled around in the sheets frustrated and shut his eyes trying to get some sleep.
