Mari had promised more were on their way, and soon! "Oh goody!" Nala tried to pick up a tune, any tune but she was too excited by the prospect of more materials that she had scratched several notes; leaving behind a warbled bad quality monster grenade."Oops! Nala cried as she pumped her fists into the air, she was slowly but surely getting better at the Violin, she pulled out a recording crystal and played a simple tune. It wasn't bad....but it was far from perfect, still it was better than nothing and it wasn't an utter failure. A Good Quality Monster Grenade was created. Sadly this time around didn't go as well as her previous attempt...not that her previous attempt was all that great. Nala placed a recording crystal on the bench and set it up; she tried playing the violin again - this time trying to play another tune. But it warbled - and she failed. producing a bad qaulity monster grenade. It was almost not worth selling...still, it was better than nothing at all. Nala put it away. Nala tried a third and final time, and it was much of the same muchness. It felt like a chore to her, pick up a recording crystal - set it up, play the violin. Suck at it, create a less than stellar item to sell, place it on the shelf... Nala gave a sigh. It was boring, Mari's shop was quiet and barely ever had any customers. Another day without a customer, another day without an order and another day without word from Mari. Nala sighed, she just didn't have the heart to do much crafting today. Still. It was a job, and it would be a job done no matter what! Nala set up a recording crystal and tried to play a tune, but she just wasn't paying attention and not long after she started the recording crystal blew up. So she brushed aside the scorch marks and tried again, she set up another crystal and pressed record. This time she was much, much more successful. She felt revitalized, rejuvinated! She was on the most Christmassy floor, at the most Christmassy time of year. She had decorated Mari's store; the insides filled with tinsel -the smell of hot chocolate, and the soft lull of carols played in the background. Nala attempted to play along to 'Jingle Bells' and she was successful! The recording crystal turned into a rare monster grenade. "Tis the season!" She cried out happily. Craft Dice: 11 SUCCESS! She wanted to try something harder; something...bouncier! something...something CHRISTMASSIER! She picked up the violin again, and hit play on the recording crystal, she tried to play 'Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer' but she fumbled on a few notes, not being able to hold the correct tempo. The recording crystal flashed before dropping to the ground - turning into a bad qaulity monster grenade."Oh well, can't win them all" Nala said, her mood not marred by the failure. Nala picked up a recording crystal, giving a slight frown, "Oh my! Only 2 left! I best contact Miss Mari so she can get some more, yes yes!" Nala sent a notification to Mari; stating that she would require more materials soon. "Right, onto business!" She said happily as she set the recording crystal to play. She tried to play 12 Days of Christmas - once she hit day 6 she did a pretty decent job - considering the song was just repeating notes over and over. A good quality monster grenade was formed. No one wanted to buy Monster Grenades. Ever! So Nala wasn't able to interact with customers as much as she would have liked. She swept the other monster grenade to the side and set up a new crystal and began to play. It was almost perfect. A Rare quality crystal formed and Nala happily took that one, and the good one and placed them away in the display shelf. Humming happily to herself. She absently placed the recording crystal down and began to play on the violin. Alas; her song just did not make sense. It wasn't Badder than bad. But it definitely was...bad... So dead - and yet - a steady stream of Materials were sent her way. Nala wondered what kind of person Miss Mari was. She bet she was a lovely person, full of happiness and sunshine. Even if she was unable to enter the town. Nala set up the crystal on the bench and began to play a song - she succeeded. Creating a good quality monster grenade. It wasn't perfect but it was something.
