Lilliad is a regular Year 7 school girl, who loves music and fighting. Her mother is a secret assassin, and her father is a famous musician. She lived a happy life in a fairly quiet part of England, but saw her mother less and less as she went off on more, longer missions. She inherited her father's love of music, as began to learn the trumpet, piano and violin. One night, Lilliad's mother set off again for a long mission, but she was caught and executed. Lilliad was only 5 when she and her father moved to Australia, where she started school, and lived on, oblivious to the fact her mother was dead. When she turned 10, her father told her about her mother, and since then she has become more hard and stronger, trainer more in martial arts and combat. She has mostly moved on from the death, but inside she still feels empty and cold whenever someone mentions the fun they have with their mothers. Her father didn't remarry, as he knew it would hurt his little girl, but he still went away for tours. On a tour to Japan, he was drowned by a gang of men, and Lilliad was left with nobody to take care of her. She now lives with her best friend who is also her adoptive sister, and her family.

When she found SAO, she thought it would be great fun to practise her skills and practise with her sister. When she found she couldn't log out, she just shrugged it off and began to practise, using some skills her mother had done once, even when she found her sister couldn't use the nerve gear.

Lilliad is a passive, quiet girl at first glance, but once you get to know her, she can get grumpy and annoyed easily. Although, once you become good friends with her, she warms up and becomes more friendly. Some might recognise her accent, which is mostly British, but with a creeping hint of Australian. She likes to play a good video game every now and then, mixed in with her music, training and school. She absolutely hates anything that gets in her way.

She has long, dark red hair with streaks of black. She has brown eyes and pale skin. She is fairly tall for her age, and is fast at running, due to her long legs.
Virtues:

Honest: She is honest, but only when she decides it is safe to be. She states her facts bluntly, showing no emotion. She owns up when she does something wrong, even if there is punishment.

Strong/Agile: Lilliad is pretty strong for her age and size, seeing as she has been training hard for the past 2 years. She is both mentally and physically strong, mentally from her recovery from her mother's death and fighting bad thoughts. She is definitely not big and bulky, but is quite tall, helping her agility. She can stand through almost any torture.

Smart/Adaptable: She is quite smart, and adjusts to different situations easily. She analyses the area, and adjusts to her surroundings. She calculates things like how much damage her blows will do and how fast she needs to move, always in under a second. She doesn't think of herself as smart, and is very modest, comparing herself to other older players.

Flaws:

Stubborn: She is very stubborn if she doesn't get what she wants, or if others are being unfair. She hates unfairness, and can get to the crying stage quickly.

Impatient: Lilliad is very impatient, and she can't wait in one spot doing nothing for more than 5 minutes. She has to be doing something, from fighting a monster to playing with a puzzle. If you tell her to wait while you get something, make sure to give her something to do. Although, she does sometimes stop to think, where she isn't

Short Tempered: She is quite short tempered, but while stupidity in accidents don't affect her, intentional idiotic behaviour can earn a swift blow to the face. She just can't stand annoying people, and when her cap is blown, she doesn't listen to anyone while she yells or beats up the other person. Nobody can calm her down, except for her friends.
