He looked up at the shop as he smiled at it. It was fun to have a neighbor to share stories with and be around. "See now, if you actually told me I would have prepared some dishes to enjoy the opening of your shop! I'm very proud of you." He stated to her as his emotions seemed to lighten when he was around good company. He took off his hat and placed it on her head now letting the bell jingle to keep her a bit warmer. "Dress warmer!" He slowly walked around the shop but remained close to her while gazing at the parameters. He looked at her and spoke. "This looks like it'll be successful

His eyes would watch Elora as she answered him. Gaze would follow her and also look at the worker bees going around them suspecting nothing. Kiluia not using weapons was always an advantage as he followed quietly with his fists clenched. He rubbed his head slightly watching move which proved she was hesitant at first but then the lunge started after she raised her spear and thrusted into the cocoon. "Yep. Here goes nothin." The cocoon burst open allowing all the bees to flow out. He hadn't exactly approached it this way striking the hive directly, but what was done was done. Perhaps, if t -
Little snow crystal flakes fell to the ground adorning the landscape with a powdery white scene. Children flocked the streets rolling around in the snow followed by an unusual character, Pingu the Penguin. Independently, Kil was outside his shop sitting down at the tables outside watching the snowflakes fall. Red eyes stared at the sky while sipping on his hot chocolate mug with a heater at his feet to keep him warm. Snowcap with a bell would sit on his head leaning to the right while his torso was dressed in a sweater. *Ding* A direct message? He thought staring at it. He was soon

The penguin ran in dear fright as she witnessed Freyd's leg fly pass her head. It squealed hiding behind her master and he couldn't stop laughing at the penguin. Tears almost ran down his face as he had to take a moment to absorb the penguins terrified face. Taking a breath, he would look over at Freyd. "Of course, she may not look like it, but she is fun to be around. Often finding herself in snowmen when the kids roll her around." Red hues would watch over Wulfin fishing before he reeled in another Ancient Fossil. Well, at least he was consistent, he thought. "Slow burn it is!" He kick

The shop was the same as ever but with this time fewer people. The only inhabitants were the shop keep and them since they found a time to be by themselves. His eyes wandered around slightly before seeing her in action at the alchemist shop. He hadn't seen it in action for quite some time so he decided it would be fair for him to at least watch. He would think about the situation about her living in the UK while she did her thing. When she finished up her testing and produced a couple items, he smiled with some satisfaction. "Good job." He would tilt his head slightly before looking at he

He was definitely not showing off his cool side with being able to find the materials. A slight sigh escaped as he handed over the material he found earlier and laughed a bit. "Damn I thought I would do better." He would shrug slightly as they headed back to the alchemist shop. The way was straight forward as path was straight toward town. "Why trap us? That is literally something I wish I understood." He frowned slightly but shrugged. "No use thinking about it though. We are here and need to get our asses in gear." He would look back at her as she proclaimed the other part of their conv

Signs of luck seemed to change as it seemed that they needed one more. However, Kil was not the one to find the last one as he stood up dusting off his clothing and looking at her. "Some captain I am. I can't even find two." He laughed as he watched her find one. Her story interrupted his thoughts as he listened intently. Her trials and tribulations were indeed tough. He wouldn't understand her pain in any detail at all as the woman continued with her words. "Must have been tough." He stated as he looked back down the path where they had come. He figured they would start heading back now

He combed the area again for materials and once again, failed. This was becoming a growing trend for him now and he wasn't feeling it since he was a provisional captain. He was known for gathering like a maniac, but this felt wrong. He sat down and just fell backwards trying to reestablish a connection to gathering. It had been so long since he had done so, albeit they were almost done. He listened carefully to her and spoke as he stared at the blue skies with passing clouds. "I had gotten home from part time work. I might be a spoiled rich kid in some eyes, but I worked at a diner. It w

This was tragic. Kil had no idea why he wasn't having much luck finding anything this way. He had struck out this time in this area and his red eyes narrowed a bit. The penguin, however, was having the time of her life while committing genocide on the small ants with her little wooden sword. Stab. Stab. Stab. She waved frantically as one of the ants managed to stay on her sword only to be thrown into the distance. "I wish I didn't have to poke things. But unfortunately, it's the way of how this world works. If I want honey, I gotta poke a bee. If I want some vanilla extract, I gotta g

He would grin slightly at the comment about how something was always out to kill them. "Okay. Something that isn't out to kill me that I didn't provoke." He had done many wrong things to treants and ants alike smashing them into the ground. More than likely he would be held as a destroyer if they had any type of culture that would associate with destruction. Alas, perhaps he should of drank some potions and eaten food for this quest as he failed in searching for another item. Eyes furrowed slightly before shrugging as they moved on. "We'd pretty much be seeing each other at the guild hal

His eyes narrowed at some of the species around him hoping to see if any consumables would initiate a window. Unfortunately, this time was a failure as they continued their merry way down the path. "Not all the time." He laughed a bit as he failed as she mentioned he was better at this. "I'm more proficient at killing them and looting them fully prepared. This is a nice change of pace though. Nothing out to kill me." Her response about defeating was invigorating. He hadn't had any motivation to get going on the frontlines as of late and it didn't seem that they needed him. Of course, he

Hearing her words that she was older made him smile a bit before he continued walking with her searching for items. He found something that would be used for an alchemist and picked up a plant that would be useful to the woman. Success, he thought as he examined the item and held it out to her. "Well, being in Firm Anima, we try to set up every raid for success. It's not like the goal line is going to open up for us. I'd love to see more faces out there, albeit I have not been on the front lines in a while." His voice slightly trailed off. They weren't dead. He knew that as much since it

He eventually stopped before a sizable forest before them and gauged where the beehive was. His eyes would look around and he stretched listening to Elora. "Experimenting is always fun. I usually take what I think will work and try to slap it together." He shrugged slightly as he looked over at Elora. "I prefer something exciting when I make something completely new. It makes me happy to know that people will enjoy sweets." Red eyes just scanned looking for that damn hive and he furrowed his eyebrows looking a bit more serious trying to spot it. "Do you see it? Because I'm not exactly su -
With the new goal set in mind, Kiluia traversed the terrain looking for materials for the woman who he had met and assisted. "I mean, you can find cats if you try to search for them. I think you can find a jungle cat in the jungle and meet the parameters of having it. I'm sure you'll find something that'll suit you Typhoon." He offered a polite smile. The penguin still managed to roll around in the grass as the other two kept their search for materials. Sadly, Kiluia didn't find anything in this area that he looked around for perhaps something she could use. Too bad, he thought. He wanted

Seemed that the party was going for a long run after the second fossil fish. Perhaps a third time was going to be the charm. He glanced at Freyd listening to his comment about air and he spoke slightly. "Or the fishest air." Noting the marine animal that was before them. Not like he could help with a sorry pun, but it was begging to be stated. With Pingu occupied with Perlita, he wouldn't have to worry about the penguin throwing rocks or tripping around the party. She could be classified as a calamity of accidents if one wasn't careful around the penguin. No one really knew if the penguin was

He would look at Typhoon and smiled slightly. "I'm not sure you'll find a cat on the snowy biome of the floors." He would note as the trio walked forward. He thought a few moments as the penguin waddled beside her newfound friend enjoying the petting. "There could be a cat on the 6th floor. It may be a good idea since it's a jungle area. We can do some research to find the best place really." The exit was within view, but they needed a pitstop. It was where they would have to collect her quest. He couldn't redo the quest of course but he would wait outside for her. He pointed at the Alche

His eyes looked at the group forming and his little stowaway. Pingu had made her appearance since she had been stuck in the shop for quite some time with her master. A sigh escaped his lips as Ceila spoke up about his penguin and himself. "Pleased to meet you. I'm Kiluia. Or Kil. Guildmate and friend of Freyd. And this is Pingu. My little monster who has a mind of a child." He sneered at the penguin but smiled at her genuinely as she kept his sanity with someone to talk with. Having been through this quest, he had looked at the NPC and still the dialog was still the same for fishing. It

Kil stared at his little companion that seemed to be beaming with delight at the sudden attention. "Feel free to pet her. I'm sure she would enjoy it." He spoke. The penguin and him stared at each other in distain like the two were in fact enemies instead of master and familiar. The animosity was just a play on their relationship, and it was a standoff like they were confronting each other. Kiluia's usual weary face lightened up a bit as the two spoke about the familiar. "We pal around in the shop. I got her on the fourth floor." He wouldn't explain much of that since it was pretty straight fo

Billowing smoke came from the fourth-floor house that sigaled that he was hanging out at his abode. Front of the house was darkened but the back of the house was lit up pretty well. He hadn't opened up his shop for quite some time. Most of his items were sitting casually behind a glass case and he sighed ever so slightly staring at empty glasses that sat there. The only thing that seemed animate in the house was Pingu the Penguin that seemed to be acting like she was a ninja. Per always she was snooping around trying to find a treat. Kil, on the other hand, was filling a glass of hot cocoa. "S

Hearing heard her state she hadn't been past the first floor wasn't surprising. Most new people wanted was to explore in safe zones and ensure their life wasn't in any clear danger. There were, indeed, daunting floors. Floors that presented themselves as wastelands or ice-cold tundra. "You don't need to pay. I tend to treat friends. It's not like I'm struggling. I just like happy faces." He sported a smile and brushed white strands of hair away from his face as he started to walk with her toward the exit of the gate. When he looked at her weapon, he had noticed the coloring that it had.

"Thanks. You should stop by sometime and I'll fix you up a treat free of charge." The young man answered. His eyes would open up a menu and he started to tap around. A party request and a friend request had been submitted for her to accept if she chose to. With that he looked around at the other vendors around them. "Don't worry. Being startled easily is a good thing at times. It means you have a sense of urgency and can react." He would smile before looking at some fruit being displayed. He didn't want to indulge in his behavior or purchasing items especially in front of a person who was aspi

Kil was the one to usually approach conversations. Apart of him knew that this was the case that he may have unopenly startled someone. A slight bow his head was given as he apologized to her. "My apologizes. I don't mean to startle you." He flashed a light yet tired smile. It was obvious that Kil was one of those people who had seen their fair share of fights but yet seemed to move on. He looked at the items and nodded listening to her inquiring about earning a living and other items. "It is a good thing to start off fresh working on finding ways to collect materials and get that money.

Her question about how to make the items seemed like a fair question. He had to think back to see if anyone had ever asked him that question. "To be honest, it's about trial and error. At first, I burned through a lot of materials to figure out the right combination of items to make the other items. Then it got progressively easier once the recipes were automatically stored. I made some strange creations that were neither sweet nor pleasant to anyone when I practiced by myself." He spoke about the memories about how he managed to burn a few things and make bitter items that caused him nausea. -
Town of Beginnings. How long had it been since he had traversed the cobblestone here? In fact, when was the last time he actually stepped foot out of his workshop on the 4th floor? Enough time had passed that he had to eventually step out and restock some items he had been missing to create new things. It wasn’t long before the white haired man was headed to the market and found himself at his regular stand where he purchased his fruit. He had noticed a variety of new people starting to get ready for their journey. A fleeting memory passed as he watched those new people peruse the
