Eruda

So close... They were so close, this was everything that she ever wanted... To be this close and NOT have the sudden urge to run and hide. That chuckle from his lips, it was new, soft, nice. That warmth, so much heat. She couldn't take her eyes off his. "Then uproot them, deal with them upfront and lay those demons to rest." Twisting that hand in hers, pulling it under the robe, under her shirt, to the bare skin of her waist. Now tracing her finger on the bare of his arm, never looking away from his gaze. "I want you more than anything I've ever wanted in my entire life Raidou. I will help you shut whatever is going on down, so that this," she pulls his hand up her side, "Can be your reality, something that you can come back to everyday after your travels. I want to be your home..." Her words were sincere and soft, she really didn't want this to end. It felt nice, and somewhere, somehow, she was afraid that Raidou wouldn't give her this of what she wanted until the problem was solved... 

Her breathing was uneven as she felt a hand on the back of her head. She could feel her hair start to flail around a bit, this was so overwhelming right now. Nothing like this has ever happened like this before and this feeling was unlike any before. Hearing his words makes her chest tighten, like a grip on her heart that just held until something was done to release in. A small chuckle with that teacher comment, pulling her head slowly from the cloth as she glances up at him. Their eyes lock and Eruda just melts. Between the heat and the static going back and forth, Any normal person, this could very well sent someone into a shock state. This was not normal, though, nothing about this was normal, they were not normal. Staring into those amber eyes, she could only imagine what her face would look like. Her hand rose to touch his cheek, almost instinctual as the other latched back to his waist. "I don't want this to ever end either," her voice was cracky and nervous and it would show. What ever came next was going to be new and unfamiliar to the both of them. Their eyes were locked, and her eyes were almost pleading...

He was matching her movement as his eyes close. A smile peers on Eruda's face as she hears those words in the back of her head. Right then a static between them that was felt so many times before, this was different. "It's perfect," saying in a soft voice, right them she moves them in a swirl, a change of directing. Feeling the warmth of his hands and an electricity surging through them, she knew that he could feel it too. It was too real not too. Closing her eyes too as they moved in unison, Raidou was starting to catch on, she would think nothing less. He was a fast learner. 

After the music ends, a few minutes pass before she sees her reflection in the window. It was right then that she realized what she was wearing while in Raidou's grasp. A long white button up T-shirt and short shorts... The shirt was only buttoned half way up... "Oh jeez," she says as she grabs his robe that he set down, putting it on quickly, covering herself and her face with a small nervous chuckle. Setting her burrowed head on Raidou's chest, she didn't want this to end... back in the day, every bone in her body would have told her to leave, run... Now, it was telling her to stay right here... "You did great, you're great," Raidou would hear in a muffle...

Placing the last egg on the plate, turning off the oven as he says -Show him...- Her hips stops the moving. Glancing up toward him in pure surprise. -You can do this, just show him... to dance, that's not dancing, that's letting loose... Getting a move on he's waiting...- Eruda argues with herself quickly in her head before walking around the counter. Taking a slow, deep breath followed by a nervous chuckle. -No thinking...- This is what they always when their action got rough toward either. It seemed to help. 

"It is much like the waltz that you are so great at. Only difference, less board like and more... Hmm." She thinks for a moment before saying, "More loose movement. Here... Listen to the music, close your eyes if you have too. That fluent rhythm behind the main base like sound. That is what you want to move with." He does just that, but it was weird looking, Eruda chuckle and takes his hands and places them on her shoulders. Eruda places her hands on his hips and began to move them mimicking her own motion to the music. "Just... don't think about it. Feel the music and just move with it..." Eruda face was so red right now but she continued...

Another small twirl and her hair was just a mess. She had yet to do anything with it, but that was fine because she was unsure what she wanted to do today. Flipping the eggs as her hips began to move just a bit. She had a huge smile on face, she was really enjoying this time. She does a weird moon walk back words toward the coffee pot before brewing some. The lid to the pot drops as the crystal music ends. It was silent again, with a small sigh and a chuckle she turns, placing another crystal on the table, activating it... It was then that she realized there was someone standing there, Raidou... It was then that her face turns 5 shades of red. Clearing her throat, with a half smile and a brow slightly raised. A chuckle comes out, "I'm busted..." She was not going to let this get to her, she was feeling a bit overheated as her chest was pounding now. Taking a deep breath as she tends to her eggs. "Do you want some," he looked like he just got home... Without looking at him, her hips began to move a little from habit of the surrounding music again. 

Eruda gets out of bed with a yawn. She was starting to get use to this new house thing. She just wished that it didn't feel so empty at times. As far as she was concerned, Raidou still slept in the guild hall area, which meant that even at 3 in the morning, Eruda had the entire house to herself... Picking out of her bag, a few messed up music crystals that were meant to be salvaged my the Firm Anima Merchants. Eruda had swiped a few before they could be. Walking into the kitchen, she sets one of the crystals on the counter tops with a smile. She missed just dancing around the house while everyone was out. Now that she was in the same situation, but much different in ways, Eruda activates the music. Gathering some eggs from the fridge, as she does a little slide across the floor. Setting them on the counter, she does a little twirl to the pantry to grab a skillet. The surrounding toon was fast and upbeat, something easy to keep a motion too. The burner was on and the eggs are cooking on simmer, she closes her eyes and moves away from the heat as she began to mimic that waltz that Rai and her did, what seemed oh so long ago, hands in the same formation...

It was clear that Setsuna did everything without a thought in question when an order was given. Something like that didn't sit right with Eruda, but she understood why. The girl left that sort of thinking to the other that gave the commands. What Setsuna did was courageous in many ways, she could see that now. "The next order you get, I want to come. I will act as a distraction if need be because I know that I can't hide like you do. I want to understand better about what goes on in the reality that everyone is so fond of." Eruda knew it would be dangerous in every corner, so she would come prepared if Setsuna would allow it. Setsuna could have killed her yes, but from what she said about these players, these people, they may not be smart enough or have the resources for a larger action then what Setsuna presented today. The first step of this new motion what to learn what she was truly dealing with. She wouldn't underestimate them either, but she needed to start somewhere. 

Eruda would grab a notebook of her own to keep notes. She started to wonder if Raidou would tell her any more... Or if he would just try to shrug her off again. Eruda wanted to be part of his world, his whole world and she really didn't want to go behind his back to do so.   

Without looking at the girl, but feeling that cold against her heated body. "I have accepted my own death long ago, it is what I do before then that matters most to me." Eruda pauses for a moment to look down at the girl that was now visible. "I took this tank position so that anything that our team faced and anyone willing to take my protection would not falter in what needed to be done." It was a hard reality to bring to terms but Eruda had made that decision a long time ago. "I have learned that sometimes things need to be done a certain way and as mine may not always be the right way, it still gets the job done. I am here to make those impossible choices so that the others don't have to. Be that wall so the others don't have to die in the way I know I might." Eruda takes a low breath, and turns toward the way that they came in. 

"If what you are telling me, that I will be facing deaths door at every turn, then I will do what needs to be done to keep them safe. I am strong, but there is always to grow." Eruda began to walk down the rocky path. The girl seems like she has been through a lot and it was time that Eruda expand knowledge on the unknown. She would do whatever needed to be done, for this to happen though, she would need to figure out exactly what Nisahime gave her that night. She could feel it still lingering inside of her. She wanted to know... 

"You coming," she calls out behind her. They only knew dates and times, and they were getting the information fast, assuming that it was coming from Raidou or Freyd would be the most obvious but how are they getting their information... "Do we know how your masters are getting those targets and what makes them a red dot on their radar?"  

(Setsuna wins the duel)

Getting to a knee as she holds the wound that was sizzling beneath her fingers. Eruda forces a small amount of blue flames within that palm as the ice begins to melt into water. Without looking at back at Setsuna, "You are right. I am a flower just waiting to be crumbled into ash." Standing now as she takes a deep breath and turns toward the girl. "Raidou has prepared the guild, me for the simpleton of mobs around Ancrad, nothing more. I appreciate that he wants to keep us, me safe and in the dark about everything in the Shadows." Eruda's flames began to ignite in small harsh flames beneath her feet as she walked toward the girl. "But Setsuna, I do not need safe, I need to know what Freya and Raidou are not telling me." Putting her shield and sword away, "There will come a day those orange players will get a hair up their ass and do something huge, and it is simple, we would have no idea what was coming and most likely die because of it." Stopping at the edge looking out at all the colors... "I am not saying that I need to join the O&I but I need to know everything so that I can prepare for it. I guess I also have something to prove... That I can handle the cards that have been dealt, physically and emotionally..." This was mainly for other that would doubt her capability. She was tired of being looked down upon and that needed to change. Now more than ever, she was ready.

Eruda was scared, but only slightly and not at the extent that she would have been back in the day. Eruda knew damn well that Setsuna could do more damage than that, she has seen it. She knew that Raidou would be pissed too, trying so hard to keep her from everything that went bump in that night, but she couldn't walk around the truth anymore. She had to know everything... "Show me what Raidou will not," Eruda doesn't look at the girl but her voice was a stern tone. It was what she wanted.

Eruda quickly looks down to except the duel request, glancing back up to see Setsuna not there... She takes out her sword and shield at the very least. Somewhere in the back of her head, she knew that the girl was right. She would like to think that she was always going to be ready for anything that came her way, but the real reality was she was not even close. Raidou showed her nothing but a fragment of something that she had already come to terms with. Nothing more, but a very small piece of a huge demented world. Even with Freya, she knew very little. She only knew what Freya and Raidou wanted her to know and nothing more. Right now she was living on the glass half full, it sorta pissed her off. She wanted to know more, she wanted to know the true nature of this place, but she couldn't if people just continued to think of her as that fragile flower that would break at any given second. Would Setsuna give her that if she asked... Eruda's eyes grew wide... "Wow, I guess I do have something to prove..." she says in an almost sad voice after already thinking that she had everything figured out... She really didn't though... Eruda pulls her shield up and watching around for Sestuna the best she could...

Right then she shifts her feet toward the scather, blue flames burn beneath her frame. With the intent to disarm this thing so that now harm would come to the team from this mechanism alone. With an upward spiral her sword makes contact and so does that fire, as the wood lights up like a Christmas tree. With the electricity and burs of heat released into the thing it glows bright with sparks and sizzles alike. It was almost there but not quite. " @Shiina finish it," looking in her direction. Raidou said to burn it down, funny that is was exactly what had just transpired. She couldn't disarm it completely but she trusted in her team to help get it done. Firm Anima was in good shape, so she knew that Shiina could use that extra go go juice to help break this thing down. Another pivot of her stance as her shield comes up now, glancing toward to enemy now. This man, if he could even be called that, was so caught up in dying for what her believed was the right thing to do without any other thought in the world. Nothing would change his mind and his vision was set and stone. Was he ready to be stricken down for this rash decision instead of take the help to take down the bigger threat that he would speak of.

"That is where you are wrong," Eruda stands now. "I have spent every waking moment training to be the best person I can be." Looking out to the falls, Eruda now knew why Setsuna was the way she was, but not entirely the reason why those friends of hers were stricken down. If it had anything to do with orange players that would explain why she was so blood thirsty. It was something that she had seen in her own sister, even more so when Eruda found out about what had happened to Freya while in that cove. "I chose to be a tank because I was tired of seeing people die around me, feeling helpless and unable to do anything about it." That cold did not both her in the slightest, but she knew the damage that Setsuna could do when given the opportunity. "I have heard things and seen things that would make one paralyze in pure fear." Holding up her hand, a small shift in her fingers as a blue flame appears in her palm. "The difference is, I have that courage to back it up, numbers mean nothing without proof and I have shown that. Like Raidou, I am not afraid to die because I know that I would be doing that one thing that I was meant to do." Closing her fingers to her palm as the fire goes out.  "I have grown in strength, but I am nothing without Firm Anima, I am that shield." A small grin, it was so ironic what Setsuna said. "Whether you think I can handle what I do not know, that is up to you, but Raidou made that same mistake once. That proof behind fate made it very much benign."

A small sigh, "You are choosing the easy way out, to stay angry. The hardest is allowing yourself to feel again, enjoy what you couldn't before." She knew that this was an edgy topic, but she couldn't help what she felt. That was one time when she would have thought the same thing about her mother, but then she met Fate herself. She felt better that it was released. She was stronger for it.

A soft smile, this girl could pick up things that she couldn't see. Squinting a bit, she sees some other people and some creatures that didn't look very threatening. "You have nothing to prove because you have already done it. Anyone that knows you truly would say the same thing. Everyone else would be stupid to underestimate you and Firm Anima as a whole." Kneeling next to the girl now, "This is our life right now, if we focus on just the crappy parts, we will come out of this game without a soul." Haine has told her multiple times that you should learn to enjoy and relax. Everything in this game was important on different levels, but keeping who you were inside and not just what people saw you as was relevant too. "Then make time, the worst doesn't always need to be assumed. We do it because it's instinct, an instant reaction." Eruda takes a finger and pulls the blindfold down from her eyes. "There is a lot to see in this world, you just have to be willing to see it." 

"Our school," a simple answer, sitting next to the girl now. "The way that you felt around before you grabbed anything. I was hiding behind my own insecurities at the time." All she could do was watch and learn from others, in hopes that one day she could have the courage to speak up. She never could, until this game. "Those friends of yours were really protective." Eruda was not going to push her about them. They were attached at the hip with Setsuna, so if they were not with her now... There was no way in hell that friends like those would just leave someone like Setsuna unless there was a good reason. "Before this game you were blind weren't you." It made perfect sense now given what the girl just said. She never had to depend on that vision to get around. This might have been the part of the reason why Setsuna thought that she had something to prove. Closing her eyes now, listening to her surrounding

Eruda gives a soft chuckle, "I guess in a way it is, but don't think of it like that." Is that what she thought of everything these days. A test, something to prove to another. Was she that far gone from those days... What happened to make this cold soul of hers?? "Think of it as a friend showing another friend a good time. Truth is you do not have to prove anything to me." Eruda knew that Setsuna could take care of herself, but sometimes it was just nice to have a friend. The question was, would this girl allow one. Setsuna was sticking with her closely, "Honestly, I have a theory... For a while now I have been trying to figure out where I have seen you from." As they continued to walk, they would begin to hear running water. Each step closer would allow the falls to illuminate louder around these echoing caves. Holding close to Setsuna as she turns the corner. The view was breathtaking, the colors of multiple falls sound the area in the near distance. Standing on a ridge she stops and slightly looks back to make sure Setsuna had stopped as well. She didn't want her to walk off the edge. "What do you hear and smell Setsuna." Looking off the edge there were several waterfalls of various colors that took beneath the water. She started to wonder what made this possible. It really was a sight, her eyes would gleam with excitement.

A smile as she watches this girl blindly sharpens her weapon. "I would like to think I have but only the decider can know that for sure." There was multiple times that she has shown that she could hold her own and protect her loved one. The guild was a big part of that. The others were not her blood, or her distant relatives or anything like that, but she would treat them all the same. Firm Anima was her family, one that put her back together when she thought all was lost. "Take my arm if you need it, it is time that you see this world in the light." There were places in this game that could not exist in the real world. It just wasn't possible, and she wanted to share those views with anyone who was willing to see it before they exited this game. "Come with me, I promise you won't regret it..." Eruda turns to start walking, "Be careful there will be pits that you could easily fall in." Stopping and holding out a hand just in case. She did not know what Setsuna was capable of when it came to thing sorta stuff, but she would watch and learn... 

Taking a scarf from her inventory, stepping onto the warp gate. Appearing in Tomoika, it wasn't hard to spot Setsuna. She could feel that cold essence, that the girl was letting off. "I saw you at that Halloween event, it made me want to bring you here. To show you something, but first," Eruda hands out the scarf to Setsuna. "I want you to cover your eyes with this and tell me what you hear. The question is, do you trust me Setsuna?" Eruda knew that it was a long shot, she would like to feel like she knew Setsuna just a little bit. If not, then she wanted to. Everyone in the guild had their own mixtures of pain and she wanted everyone to be able to comfortable know that they could come to her whenever they were feeling that pain that they hid behind. Eruda knew that it would take time, but she knew that if she went about it the right way, something would change. She would believe that it was for the best, and in a way, make the guild closer through her alone.

Battle Healing Activated: +53 Health

A smile given back to Raidou, one that said -I believe in you-. There was nothing that they couldn't do as long as everyone was on the same page. It was a bit painful that she couldn't be there for Simmonè or Sam. Eruda would just have to trust that they take what they have learned and use it. Eruda gives a small sigh before her eyes turn to the Scather, it had to go down. Hearing Raidou shift in tones, he makes her feel good that Raidou put his faith in her. Enough to open up like he did. A grin before running and sliding to the mechanism to try working her magic on it. Taking the tip of her blade, she jams it in a gear of sorts as it becomes overheated. Click, click, click, as sparks began to fly in, a bit of plastic melts causing it to stop in place. "This one is almost down," calling out as she pulls her blade out and shifts her body back toward Raidou, watching waiting...

Picking up some clothing from the floor in her room, "I know that I have seen her before." Tossing them in the air as they vanish into her inventory. "I keep seeing tiny pictures in my head," Grabbing a view things off her floor and setting them on her window seal. Plopping backwards on her bed with a grunt. Raserei jumps on her bed and starts licking her face. "Oh, come on stop that..." saying as she scratches behind both of her ears. "Okay, wolf, focus. I have to figure this out or it's going to bug me." Eruda hops further on her bed and crisscrossed her legs. Closing her eyes with a deep breath., Eruda started to focus on her past from high school. It would be easy this time for the simple fact, she has accepted everything that has happened from that time. A young girl who was surrounded by her friends. This girl was feeling around her locker... It was almost like she couldn't see. Eruda eyes blink open, all those times that she was hiding from society. Watching and listening to everything that was going on in the hall, usually just passing through. That would make perfect sense why Setsuna was looking so amused by all the decorations during that festival. Setsuna was blind... She just seemed so different from then, nothing like that soft little girl that she remembered seeing in those halls. "I wonder how much she has actually seen in this world." Giving a sigh, getting to her feet. 

Eruda decides that she was going to try something. She was wondering what happened to those friends of hers. Eruda never saw the girl without them, what changed... Gathering her things she sends some details for a place to Setsuna, with a small note saying "Meet me in Tomoika, floor 21," there was a place that she wanted to see on this land. There was a lot of places that she still wanted to see, but she wasn't able to be multiple places at one. She starts to head out the door was where Raserei would stay and most likely sleep. It was rounding about 4 pm so she was hoping that Setsuna wasn't busy.

Watching Shiina run forward screaming in excitement, Freya was linked to Gaius walking mere feet from her and Griswold. Kasumi was on the other side Eruda as Simmone and Sam walked together behind her. Celeste and Lium even decided to come. "I have never been to something like this" saying to her father. "Mom never took us out to these things, and trick or treating was always a bust. I am glad that I am here with you and everyone else dad." Getting to where the quest items were supposed to be turned in, they were greeted by Oni. Just to the left, she saw Setsuna. Fiddling with a plastic skeleton almost like she had never seen it before... Seen... Eruda pushes her lips together with a small curve. She finally knew why Sestuna looked so familiar to her, where were those friends of hers. Setting those seeds out for Oni, grabbing a few weird looking items in exchange. This was to be approached very carefully.

Eruda was so fascinated by this story, but somehow it seemed weirdly what they were going through right now. Freya and Freyd not trusting in fate, but Shiina and herself we contracted. They chose to believe in Morrighan. You can't make people believe in something that they didn't want to. Taking a small breath with a frown. They have to take that leap of Faith for themselves and hope that is all worked out for the best. "How can I help them believe in something that they think is a total scam..." Saying this in almost a whisper.

Right then she saw Freya and Gaius storm by to the watering hole and just start fishing. It was clear that something went on between the two. Some family night... "I am going to gather some firewood." Getting to her feet and brushing the sand off her behind. A glance to Morrighan, locking eyes with her for only a split second before she walks toward an area with small trees. Picking up some branches, it was beginning to get dark. Oddly enough, even though the moon was rising, the area was full of wondrous colors. A rainbow of sorts, Eruda holds that stick and glances around... "Wow Freya, where did you bring us..." It was clear that she picked this place with thought to it. How else would she had known... Her mood became just a bit better. Smiling, she gathers a hand full of sticks and brings them back to the group. Raserei was helping by rolling some stones in the middle of this site. Eruda began to create a campfire, something similar to what was done during the last girls night out. 

Seeing that woman appear from the water with Shiina, not even an inch of water on her skin. "Morrighan, always a pleasure." It was only a matter of time before that curtain thing happened. Shiina was under contract as well. Was she able to show her true self here because of her and Shiina. It was weird seeing her come out of the water like that, but she gave up on trying to figure out all the weirdness in this world. Looking to her father and that almost blank stare at this woman. She makes an unsure face, "I take it you saw her in a weird dream work too." This was not what was needed right now, or maybe it was exactly what was needed. Anna was dead, and as much as it pained her to think about it, it was true and she amongst everyone else has to find out eventually. 

A deep sigh, as she walks to the two girls. "I am not sure why you might be here, but please don't allow her to be here just yet. I want to wait until Freya shows up first. I mean no disrespect, I just need our whole family to be here first. I think it would really help..." her face stays pained, knowing that Anna was here, it might make him happy, but knowing why Anna was here, that was a different story. Walking to her father now, sitting in front of him, taking his hand, it was twice as big as her own. "Are you okay dad," twisting her head slightly.

Just walking into her house with a yawn. Closing the door behind her as Raserei comes to greet her. A pat on the head, her HUD chimes. A raise of her brow, swiping her menu open. It was Freya, "Gaius and daddy in the same place with no fighting. Oh, this should be interesting." Closing her HUD glancing down to Raserei. "Do you want to come, your friends will be there." Her head rises as she does that weird jump circle twist around thing. Pointing her nose toward the door, Eruda just giggles, "Okay, just let me grab a few things." Getting a pen and paper she writes to Raidou that she won't be home tonight. Setting it on the table, she grabs a few other things in her room and heads out.

Raserei was jumping around in excitement as they near the warp gates. Hoping on the pad with her, they arrive at floor 24 were she sees dad and Shiina, as Freya speeds past her. "Ill be right back." a bit confused, she walks to Griswold as Raserei nearly pounces on the huge fire rock. A small giggle, "So a family get together. Do you know what this is about? Seems a bit sudden." Glancing around now, she realized that she had never been to this floor before. It was a beautiful layout. Eruda was wondering why Shiina was here, useless Freya was playing to do something stupid. -This isn't going to end well... - thinking to herself. She takes a seat on the ground and waits for Freya to come back.

"Oh, we know each other, he is the one who thought he could fight instead of watching Kasumi." A laughter from all of them. "If you are willing, you can train with me. I have been practicing in the early mornings on the ice. Floor 4 at 4 am if you want to." Lium simple nods with a smile. "Get your ass over here and swim with me." Eruda lunges of the edge and began to swim further out. Hearing a splash behind her, Freya catches up to her. Eruda felt so much relief from their conversation. It's something that she really wanted to put behind her and it had been a very long time coming. She would not talk about Nisa yet. There was not enough information to go on, not in the slightest. She was, however a messenger now. She didn't know what that meant in full but Lium, if met with the requirements was now sparked. She didn't know how to feel about it, but she would help deal with it when the time came up.
