  1. Now that there were no nests so found so far, Rebekah knew that she was thinking too simplistic. An idea nest would not be too low or too high from the ground. That would be too simplistic, and easy to find. Rebekah knew that this may become a challenge however, she was never the best at finding something that was hidden. She knew that she would have to try a lot harder. She decided to walk further into this clearing and knew that she would need to go up onto the next hill, so she could see better. Currently, her view as quite obstructed so she was having trouble trying to find things. As
  2. Rebekah knew that she had to try a lot harder. Her last attempt at searching was very simplistic and she had hoped the dragon's nest could be found as easy as since it should be very big in order to keep a lot of eggs inside. At first, she had though that the nest would be found low to the ground given that the eggs were very prone to being broken if it fell from such a high height. In order to mitigate that problem, a nest on the ground would be a good idea. However, there was nothing that could be found on the ground. Therefore, Rebekah would have to try another strategy. Rebekah though
  3. Now, Rebekah saw her quest log icon update and she began to read it. It had told her to begin searching for the dragon's nest. It did not tell her specifically where it was but it had told her the general location. This meant she was going to have to search for it. Immediately, Rebekah open her map in her settings and compared it with the map she had found. It had turned out the dragon's nest would not be too far away from here. That was a good thing as Rebekah knew that she would not have to walk to far to arrive at the location. She knew that she wanted to go now since it was still earl
  4. Therefore, the next thing Rebekah did was to read what she had just collected out in the wild. She looked around and saw that there was nobody nearby. She was safe enough to let her guard down to read what she had found. There were two pieces of paper, one with a half translated note, and a map. Rebekah decided to read the note first, knowing that it would explain more information about the map. As Rebekah began to read and understand the translated note, it had asked her if she was interested in going on a quest today. Rebekah decided that it was time to accept this challenge and go on t
  5. As Rebekah kept walking, she noticed an object out in the distance in the wilderness. Rebekah knew that she would approach it. She was feeling adventurous today, and was willing to take a risk. She was also on floor one and knew that the level of difficulty would be scaled down for a new player. If this had occurred on floor twenty seven, Rebekah would think twice and may not approach the mysterious object as it could represent a lot of danger. She had managed to survive seven years in this game, and had naturally learned how to stay safe. It was an important skill to have in a game such as Sw
  6. Rebekah was woken up by a notification on her user interface. It was time to wake up. She had set an alarm this morning as she had plans to go visit the town of beginnings to walk around to explore. The girl knew that she needed to do this more often. It was important to go on random trips when she have time off especially in an attempt to try to explore and find some good food. As a chef, Rebekah knew that she should always try to eat different foods so she could gain some much needed inspiration and ideas in the future. She headed down towards the first floor, and Rebekah knew that she
  7. Rebekah waited for the player to unlocked the door. As soon as it was unlocked, she had followed him into his shop. It was not particularly full of stock, but that had always meant it was a good thing. Rebekah liked to keep her inventory levels as low as possible but just enough to be able to fulfill orders at any moment. It did not take long for Kyoto to ask this question. He was likely a resident of floor twenty second, since it made a lot of sense to live on the same floor as your shop. If not, it would increase the amount of travel one needed to traverse on a regular basis. "I was dro
  8. Now that Rebekah had finished taking her bath, it was time to eat once again. Rebekah was craving for some cake. She decided to bake a cake. Luckily, her room also had a small working kitchen. It was not as big as the one she had in her shop, but she did not want to go outside. Therefore, she got to work taking out the ingredients that she had stored at home, and began to measure out the ingredients. After she had spent time measuring the ingredients, she began to pour everything into a bowl and mix them before putting it the batter in a cake pan and putting it in the oven. It was at this
  9. Now that Rebekah was back on the fourth floor, she made her way back to the apartment room that she had rented out. This was where she had stayed for the vast majority of the time. She wanted to crash and lie down on her bed to get some rest. However, Rebekah knew that she should take a shower first and more important get the sand out of her boots. She took off her footwear with a press of a button and made her way over to her bathtub. Rebekah decided to turn on the taps and let the water fill up. She wanted to take a bath today. It had been a while since she was able to take a bath, so s
  10. Rebekah walked directly to the town centre, trying to avoid anybody who may still recognize her after she had made them lose money on the bet in the arena on this floor. Luckily for Rebekah, the battles were still ongoing and the streets were not crowded. She reckon they would forget all about her battle tomorrow, so she should be fine. She just wanted to lay low for a while. She continue to briskly walk through the streets, and then she had found the teleportation gate in the town centre. Rebekah stepped in and activated floor four. Shiver. That was the first thing she had felt
  11. Now that all the monsters have died, Rebekah decided to turn around and make her way back towards the town. It would not take long but she moved as swiftly as she could, trying to make sure she avoided lingering in the desert for much longer than she wanted. She needed to get safely back into town as quick as possible because she would expect more scorpions or other monsters to try to attack her if she stayed out for a lot longer. As she had kept walking in the sand, Rebekah could start feel uncomfortable. There was sand everywhere including in her boot. She would like to shake the sand o
  12. With only the single monster left alive, Rebekah knew that it would be time to finally defeat the monster so that she could return back into the town behind her. She had spent a short period of time in the desert and had immediately regretted this idea. She wanted to leave and returned home to floor four. She was not feeling well today, and did not enjoy her time on this floor as much as the other ones. As Rebekah activated her sword skill, she had hoped that this will strike the remaining scorpion. She wanted to get out of here as fast as possible before more scorpions would start to app
  13. With half of the scorpions already dead in this group, Rebekah can finally relax and loosen up a little. She no longer had to contend with four monsters trying to defeat her. She knew that dealing with two made everything a lot safer and a lot easier to manage. She knew that she still had a job to do and knew that she still need to land her attacks as accurately as possible to prevent any problems. Rebekah began to walk closer and began to channel another attack at the remaining two scorpions left. She knew that she could potentially kill one of them this turn as the other one still had n
  14. As this was the first time Rebekah was attacking the faster moving scorpions, her opening strike had missed two out of the four targets. Rebekah could not recall the last time she had failed so bad at landing her opening attack. Perhaps it was the combination of fighting in a hostile environment, and fighting a different foe for the first time. She knew that was why she was out here. She wanted practice to get better and the only way to do this is to gain additional experience. This would be a very important learning opportunity for her as she knew she had not been here in years. At least
  15. Rebekah could now see that there were four scorpions up ahead in the group on top of the hill. She took one turn back and could see the relatively safety of the town Fortaleza in the background. This meant she had not traveled to far to hunt for these monsters. She needed to make her way closer towards these animals before she could attack. Unlike some of the other monsters found on the other floors, these scorpions were aggressive. The moment that they had spotted the girl, the group began making their way towards Rebekah. This was better, Rebekah did not have to run over to strike. She
  16. Rebekah took a step into the desert. It was warm and there was sand everywhere. She remembered why she had disliked this place again. She had not been back in a very long time. The sun was beating down on her, however, she had a target for today. Rebekah was looking to defeat some monsters in the desert. She had heard there were too many scorpions crawling around, and these would make for a new target. After all, she had fought bears and boars, but nothing different. By now, she had already memorize the attack patterns of all of those animals, so she wanted to fight something that was a lot di
  17. Now that Rebekah had fully recovered all her energy by resting, she knew it would be time to head out into the desert to explore a little bit before she would have to return home. She knew that her health bar had not been fully healed, but the girl was willing to take the risk. Rebekah was slowly regaining it, at a slower pace then she had intended. However, she did not want to waste such a beautiful and amazing day just waiting for it to reach a hundred percent. She would regain all her health at a later time. Rebekah looked around and eventually found her way out of the settlement into
  18. As Rebekah scrolled around the streets of Fortaleza, she was looking for a place to eat. She wanted to find some hard to find restaurant, something that would normally be accessed by locals and not one of the popular and crowded restaurants that could be found on every floor. She wanted to avoid that. Luckily for her, Rebekah found a niche cafe and decided to walk into the store. She went over to the counter and began to ponder what she wanted to eat. Rebekah settled on a matcha latte with an apple turnover. It was not the healthiest or hearty food that she could eat today, but it will be
  19. Now that the monster had died, Rebekah finally looked back up at the crowd that had gather to watch today's battle. They were stunned. The undefeated Sando Satsu had been defeated for the first time. This made a lot of people upset as they had lost money on the bet that was placed. Rebekah saw the crowd become upset and began to quickly make her way out of the arena back to the rest area where she could sit down and recover. Rebekah walked up to the NPC that she had spoken to when she began this quest. Rebekah had received her reward and gotten the quest completed notification. This
  20. Three for three. This was a very tough boss. It had especially hurt since it was doing true damage against Rebekah. The monster was splicing through her armour and avoiding it. However, Rebekah was lucky that she had been able to return with four perfect strikes as well. This meant that neither of them had missed any chances to strike the other. Therefore, this was the toughest individual battle that Rebekah had considered herself to be a part of. She knew the monster's health bar was in the red now. Rebekah knew that she finally had the opportunity to finish this battle and get some much
  21. Rebekah had been struck once again. This time it had hurt more than last time as the alligator Sando Satsu had upped its damage against the girl. Rebekah knew that the alligator would not survive for much longer. However, she would have to be a lot more careful given that it had managed to hit her on both of its attempts when it had been able to strike. This was a problem but Rebekah knew that the monster's health bar have been dropping faster than hers. Rebekah did have natural battle healing so this would make her feel a lot more safer. In addition, she was also ready because she had ga
  22. On Sando Satsu's first chance to attack Rebekah, it had landed some damage against her. However, unlike a lot of bosses, Rebekah's mitigation was useless against this boss. It had managed to deal true damage against her. Rebekah now knew that she would have to be extra careful given that her mitigation was not working. She had taken significant damage for the first time in a while. However, Rebekah managed to activate the thorns in her armour. This at least made the alligator deplete a little bit more health. Rebekah knew that at this point, every little bit helps. She knew that she neede
  23. After both Rebekah and Snowball had landed their first strike against the alligator, Rebekah gained a lot of confidence and began to relax a little bit more. She was no longer as worried as previously. She had thought this was a big and tough animal to take down but the opening move had showed her that this was a bigger and sturdier monster than what she would face on a regular basis. Perhaps, it was a little bit stronger but she could not tell so far given that it was stunned and prevented from attack. Rebekah knew that this was a good chance to drain a sizable portion of Sando Satsu's health
  24. After her name was announced to the crowd in attendance, the gate in front of her opened. Rebekah took the first step forward. There was no turning back now. As she continued to inch forward, she could see the massive crowd getting ready to watch the next battle. She had heard the betting lines had favoured the animal. This had meant that they had expected her to lose. She was determined not to let this happen. It was now time for the other gate to open. Out came a giant alligator. The animal was introduced as Sando Satsu. It had slain a lot of humans before, and it was looking to make Re
  25. Now that Rebekah had accepted the quest from the NPC, she nervously walked the changing rooms to await her turn. Rebekah knew that this was her time to relax and prepare for the battle before it was time for her to step out into the arena to fight. She made sure that she had prepared everything. Her equipment was ready. Rebekah turned to Snowball, her owl. He was also ready and excited to fight. In order to help her chances at success, Rebekah took this time to meditate and visualize in her head that she was winning going to win this battle. Rebekah knew that she had to be and act confide
