  1. Now that one of the four bears have been defeated. There were a lot less things to watch out for in combat. In both of the first two rounds of combat, Rebekah had noticed that three bears had attack her in both rounds. This was not ideal. Rebekah had missed about half of her strikes against these bears so far. Luck was clearly not on her side right now. She did not feel like these bears were more difficult than the boars but she was having a lot more trouble. There was only one thing she could think of, and this was to try using a more complex skill. Normally, Rebekah had avoided using the sec
  2. These bears were a lot more difficult than the boars she had just faced. It was evident that her opening move was not as effective, as Rebekah had only manage to strike and stun one of the four bears. This meant that she had a lot more dodging to do and had to be a lot more cautious on this upcoming move. Rebekah knew she would not be able to eliminate multiple bears on this next strike, but she needed to at least reduce their health to a more manageable state. Right now, the combat is slanted towards the bears favour but Rebekah had a plan. She knew she was an expert at striking multiple targ
  3. As Rebekah continue walking, she could notice that as scouted, there were four bears in front of her. Thanks to her owl, Rebekah was already prepared for this. Since she was almost at the entrance into the settlement, there was no reason to turn around and head back. It would be more efficient for Rebekah to face these bears so she can easily head into the safety of the town afterwards. However, Rebekah was wondering, why were there strong monsters patrolling the perimeter of this settlement. This was floor one. This was something she would have to discuss with someone later, and find out the
  4. After finally defeating the boars, it was time for Rebekah to continue walking forward on this path and make her way back to the town to report to the mayor. She had almost forgotten about that part of the quest, but knew that she needed to start walking faster. The last thing Rebekah had wanted right now as to get drawn into another battle in the wild. While she was happy with the loot that she had received so far for defeating the pigs, she knew that she wanted to return to the city so she could head back to her busy shop to continue crafting additional consumables. It was at this point
  5. It was a successful second round, Rebekah had manage to defeat half of the boars leaving only two remaining in front of him. Since there were only two boars left with each of them having less than half of their remaining health points, Rebekah knew that this would be a lot easier situation to deal with. While one of the boars managed to hit Rebekah last turn dealing minor damage, she was surprised to find out that the entire damage had healed back up immediately. Rebekah did have strong battle healing which made these battles very safe for her. She thought about her older brother, and won
  6. With three of the four animals stunned and unable to react, Rebekah knew that this would be the perfect opportunity to quickly strike and defeat the remaining animals so she could make this situation a lot more manageable. While the boars were not a difficult boss, Rebekah knew that she would like to reduce the number of monsters fighting her at a single time, so that she could easily dodge and be better defensively. When dodging attacks from multiple monsters, Rebekah knew that it would be better if she was able to easily track one animal attacking her rather than four at the same time. It wa
  7. Now that Rebekah's energy have been fully restored, Rebekah knew that now was her chance to go out and strike. For the second time today, Rebekah pulled out her rapier and began to quietly make her way closer towards the boars which were laying down on the ground. As soon as she had gotten close enough, Rebekah ran towards the boars and knew that the opening strike is of the upmost importance. A good start to this battle would signal an easy fight. Likewise, if she were to miss multiple strikes, this would be a disaster for everyone including herself. Therefore, Rebekah knew that this opening
  8. Since Rebekah still had not made it towards the boars that were up ahead, she had not triggered any animals to come charging at her. Rebekah wanted to take this time to scout her next move. She could see that there were four giant boars on the first floor. This would have presented a challenge to any low level player but Rebekah should be able to be fine given her level and type of experience that she had under her belt in this game. Therefore, Rebekah would not be too concerned running full speed at the boars in order to defeat them as soon as possible. There was only one concern, and th
  9. Now that Rebekah had finally made it back to the dock. It was now time to say goodbye to Pete and thank him for the ride towards finding the fish. It was now time for Rebekah to head back to the town. She knew she wanted to take the more scenic route to return. She knew that the town centre was busy at this time of the day and Rebekah wanted to avoid the massive crowds. Therefore, she headed towards the forest taking the long way which brought her out into the wilderness before taking another entrance back in the town. As Rebekah began walking, Snowball had returned from her scouting trip
  10. With the fish dead, Rebekah had almost completed the entire beginner quest. All she had to do left was to report to the mayor Dorian after a long time since she had started this quest. The first thing Rebekah needed to do was to return back to shore and the dock. She told Pete that they had finally accomplish their goal today and it was now time to return. It was not a long journey but Rebekah had enjoy being on a boat on the water. She would like to return one day but on her own boat if she could afford one. Rebekah knew that she would have to save up a lot in order to own a boat, so she
  11. With their successful attack in the first round, Rebekah and Snowball had made it such that Rebekah only needed one more turn to strike and finish the fish that was in front of her. Rebekah had felt a sigh of relief as Snowball landed back onto the boat to recuperate before it would strike again. Rebekah knew that it was not expecting Snowball to attack again but it was fun to have her owl in battle with her. It had allowed her an extra companion especially when she was fighting these dangerous and difficult bosses all by herself. There was only one thing left on the girl's mind. This was
  12. Since the fish was immediately caught, Rebekah can see it was a fish with a giant bill akin to the a swordfish. Rebekah knew that she did not want to get anywhere close to to that as it could represent significant damage. Therefore, Rebekah knew that she would have to be careful. She looked at her owl, and told her "Snowball attack." Her owl immediately flew up into the air and began a steep dive towards the fish. At the same time, Rebekah took out her rapier and began to channel a sword art at the fish in front of her. Rebekah wanted to time this just perfectly. She wanted Snowball to hi
  13. That was an interesting question for Pete. It was not everyday when a player would ask about their favourite fish. The best fish to catch is salmon. Pete had loved salmon and it was one of his favourite foods. "My answer is salmon. It can only be caught at specific times of the year, when the adult fish is heading back inland towards the river. It is a very versatile fish which can be used in a variety of dishes. It also helps that salmon sells for very high prices." Pete explained. While that was no the type of answer Rebekah was hoping for, she knew that this was true. One of the dishes
  14. Since the line was not pulling yet, Rebekah knew that they had not yet caught the fish. This may be a long day, but she had hoped that her fishing skills was good enough to catch the monster early. It was now Pete's time to tell her about his fisherman journey. "I started fishing at a very young age. My grandparents who were fisherman brought me along when I was a lot younger. I remember sailing out into the ocean to catch all types of fish, from salmon, halibut, tuna and cod. I enjoy being out in the water and being the captain of my own vessel." Pete explained. It was interesting to hea
  15. Now that Rebekah was on the boat, it was now her attempt to try to catch the fish, which she would have to fight in this quest. Rebekah looked down at her fishing pole. She had never gone fishing before. Sure, she had went and watch Nicklaus catch fish in the past, but she has never done it herself. This will be an interesting experience. All she hope for was that this would be a great chance for her to learn something today. Rebekah knew that she had her owl with her. Snowball had gotten off her shoulder and stood in the boat as well. Rebekah did not have a life jacket on but she was not
  16. After walking what felt like forever, Rebekah finally arrived at the end of the dock. There was an NPC there with another grey beard. Could it be. It must be the NPC that she was looking for. "Hello, I am looking for Pete Larkin. The mayor had sent me over here to see if you needed some help." Rebekah tried to explain. She could see Pete was another fisherman, but he had a much smaller boat. She knew that they had to fight something today but did not know what she was going to have to look for. Perhaps, it was a fish. That was the only logical explanation Rebekah could think of. Therefore
  17. Now that Rebekah had made her way over towards the dock at the town of beginnings. She knew she was looking for a fisherman who was supposed to be around here. However, she could already smell the stench of the pier. It was a disgusting smell, and Rebekah knew she did not want to be here any longer than she should be. However, the only thing Rebekah could see was a lot of fishing vessels but no fisherman located anywhere on the dock, or on their respective boats. Rebekah opened up her quest log and began reading her instructions once again. It had felt like there were no NPCs nearby as th
  18. Rebekah knew that it was finally time for her today to finish this set of beginner's quest. She had known for a while this would be the last quest in the set of beginner's quest that she would have to complete in order to finally move on to the next stage of Aincrad. She realized that she had not completed this quest and this would provide a challenge for her as she inch closer to tier six. Rebekah knew that she was about a few levels short and knew that by completing this quest she would arrive closer at her goal. Therefore, she had found herself once again on the first floor with her ow

  20. It had been a while since Rebekah had cooked some meals. She knew that she needed more meals available for players including herself to grab and munch on while they are awaiting combat. Therefore, it was important for her to begin cooking once again. She had a lot of desserts but not enough meals. She hoped that she could find a way to gather enough meals so her stock would be full again. Luckily for Rebekah, there was no problem creating so much food at once. Since food does not expire in Aincrad in her shop, she could have them last indefinitely. Date: 05-01-2022 Rank 8: 1,445/2,599 (
  21. It had only been a week since Rebekah had last shown up on this floor. She was in the process of moving and donating some of her extra consumables into the guild storage. However, she would have to make multiple trips between her shop on the fourth floor, and the hidden church tucked away behind a set of trees near the lake of reflection on the twenty fourth floor. Even though she made this trip several times a week, she never got tired of the amazing scenery which included the beautiful lake of reflection which sat in the middle of this floor. Normally, she have taken the shortcut in the
  22. Rebekah had walked back over to Nicklaus after failing to search for the material. It turns out that last flower was not rare enough to be worth anything. "I see the two of you had made up." Rebekah said, as she watched Snowball help Nicklaus tidy up his fishing gear an equipment into a neat pile before Nicklaus stored it in his inventory with a click of a button. Rebekah then told the two of them it was time to head out. She will lead the way since she knows the fastest way back towards the town of new beginnings. She had almost forgotten but Nicklaus would have to go turn in his loot fo
  23. Rebekah agreed with Nicklaus, it was finally time to go. She knew that it would take him sometime to pack up before they can leave this area, so it was the perfect opportunity to see if she could find another rare material. Rebekah knew that she had all the luck today, given that she was able to collect six materials already, and there was a good opportunity for more. Rebekah answered his question, "We can go there soon." She looked up and she could see Nicklaus was almost finish packing up. She just needed a few more minutes to search this area, so she devised a plan. She told her o
  24. That was an interesting question. Rebekah was never asked this question about the type of armours that can be worn in this game. She knew that she had used to wear light armour to assist with evasion but she had learned that light armour does not have the potential to gain as many unique skills as heavy armour. Heavy armour also increased her ability to survive. These were the two biggest reason at the end of the day. "I chose this heavy armour because heavy armour has the highest mitigation and health point out of all the other armour. Since I am not longer planning on improving my evasi
  25. This was an interesting question that had been posed by Nicklaus about the differences between the two upcoming skills that he can choose. It was a choice between battle healing and mitigation. This was a tough decision to make, however, the simplest way to explain it would be to discuss the benefits between the two skills. "Battle healing is a lot stronger in the late game when you have a lot more health points and if you are able to max out the skill. The reason is battle healing is a percentage of your maximum health points. However, in the early game, mitigation is a lot more useful s
