There was a giant haystack next to this field of grass. Rebekah knew that hay was created by cutting, drying and bailing together long cut grass. The hay would then be used for a variety of uses including feeding it to livestock. This hay has a colour of modest yellow. Perhaps the golden ring was hidden inside of this haystack? Rebekah thought about diving into it to find the missing ring. After all, this is the craziest thing she could think of, but it would make sense.
