    Placing a hand on Kasumi's shoulder to force some of her own available stamina into the girl, and to comfort her. "It is required dear, I know it is not easy for you to do what must be done." Simmone comments attempting to pull her away from where Hel fell. A sudden phrase begins to pour from Kasumi's lips with a bit of gloss in her eyes, on the verge of tears. "I am not afraid of what might happen, I cannot let it stop me from doing what is right." the girl speaks as if she was quoting someone, it was obvious given how out of the blue it seemed. Balling her hands into fists she turns on her heels and begins to follow behind the two that had wandered ahead, and with a tap of Simmone's index to her chin, she ponders. "Who were you quoting my dear?"

    Hel was almost down and after that strike from Gaius makes the whole chamber shake, her optimism is affirmed. "Perfect, just a little more. Girls!" Simmone snaps her fingers and renews even more of Setsuna's pool, playing the part of the battery and keeping her mobile. It seems that somewhere along the way they had gained innumerable strength, seeming leagues past the issues they had during third lessons. The group was a long way from struggling to fight golems, given now they were giving a pretty tough raid creature a run for its money. The black cat could not help but wonder if this wasn't over, knowing little about the quest given how they had been brought into it and Gaius's lack of forethought to investigate the matter further. But if any fight after this one went in a similar fashion, this would be over before sunrise. Perhaps even save a few hours and get back to sleep.

    Keeping that bonding tether that linked her to the girl, Simmone maintains the line she had to Setsuna's energy. A twist of her fingers as Gaius blasts the final chain. "Well done Gaius, Who knew you had it in you." The black cat could not help but goad him a bit, pleased with his sudden outburst that formulated a plan. A glimmer of gold plays upon her index and thumb and a snap fires out her bet, finding a hearth in Setsuna's back. As a result, the girl's stamina jumps in a quick refill. "Keep up the pressure, we have her on the ropes." The guild merchant couldn't help but find a bit of a pun in her statement, given they had just shattered the boss's ropes. All they had left to do is put her down, and as the woman looks to the rest of her party she felt something. Optimism? Interesting when did she start relying on their strengths?

  4. Beginning to charge the same skill to trigger and tether herself to Setsuna, keeping both of those girls acting seemed like the goal. Then the dragoon speaks and catches her off guard. "What did you just say?" as she looks to Hel and then back to Gaius. Did the man just hatch a plan? Holy hell he must have bonked his head. Unconvinced by the recent development that this kind of premeditation was his own, she looks to Griswold who nods. "Right then I will leave it to you, buy me an opening and I will work those chains. You'll be surprised what a little finesse can do." Simmone quips with a chuckle as Griswold shifts. A snap of her fingers fires that signature bet: a gold helix that seeks out the girl and enters her back. Keeping her attacking was the best they could do at the moment, assuming that the boss would heal indefinitely until the soldiers were freed.

    A lift of her right hand she snaps her fingers and a gold coil scatters off into the darkness, seeking out Kasumi. Simmone knew that her last swing would have taken a bit of her pool and was willing to make that bet. With her own stamina draining with her exchange made, Simmone peels out a small little gift. "Pardon me, but I wouldn't want this to be a fair fight. You have something I want and I am eager to know what it is. So just die for me would you?" Simmone remarks coyly to the boss as she triggers the small device in her grasp, a performance crystal. Dropping it the thing seems to resonate with the music Shiina was producing. This causes her to shift and look to Shiina with a tinge of confusion, it made some sense given the girl was a performer. But what it was doing was still perplexing.

    Removing a gingerly held rapier from her hip she storms in next to Gaius, to another soldier held taught to a black steel chain. "It's all in the wrist my dear, a method better than any strength." She remarks coyly as she shoves the silver hilted weapon through one of the links and twists it, causing it to bend far greater then both of the prior had done in their own rights. The damage wrought she disconnects and shifts clear before Hel would be allowed a counter. The black cat's choice was to rely on the large man in clattered plate steel, leaving him to keep the rampaging witch upon her throne from having a rebuttal. A tinge of newfound respect at the sheer ability they were having at operating without a reason behind it, curious that somehow this band of misfits was getting along so swimmingly. Perhaps it was the thought of a reward pushing them to fit together.

    As the boss falters and falls from one massive blow from Gaius, falling and cleaving it in twain Simmone chuckles. He was really raring to go it seemed and this was the perfect outlet. Her anger had long since been replaced with a sense of bewilderment and intrigue on what the quests rewards may be. A twist of her hand as she looks to the group's energy totals and Setsuna's leaps back up a fair bit at the cost of her own. This small respite she could offer the girl would keep her motivated and actively swing, saving her the need to do it herself. This was going to be easy if it repeated itself enough. Looking to the others she asks in earnest "So what is next, was that it?" still lost on the specifics of what must be done, given she was given absolutely nothing to go on.

  8. The sudden shift from a smooth ride on a vessel to who knew where it leads, into a fray which seemed to happen out of the ether. The youngest ones were the first to rush into the fight and had done a sizeable chunk of damage rather rapidly. Simmone was sure someone other than she would also be impressed at how quickly they had worked, perhaps their captain had some part in it. After a powerful chain swing from Kasumi and Setsuna, the black cat purveys the field and notably the lowest being Kasumi with her damage being the highest. "Now now dear, keep on going. I place my bets on you." Simmone remarks with a snap of her fingers in gold, it flares and washes into the blossom with a coil. There was power in these ranks, and it was starting to become more obvious the more familiar she became with them.

  9. A sharp exhale from Simmone, still tired and aggravated having been blasted by insistent messages and dragged out into the darkness with seemingly no discernable reasoning behind it. The black cat was fuming, thinking about stabbing him in the behind and going back to get some shut eye, she needed her beauty rest. "I don't get what your on about you idiot, so there's a boat..." She comments as the raft approaches, a metaphorical invite to join it. The first to hop on the vessel, Gaius surely was breaming with excitement. Sitting down next to him, she contemplated waiting till it was far enough out and pushing him off. But there was something else that was edging away her fury, a peak of curiosity at what this odd endeavor may lead to. What awaited on the horizon where this boat was heading, the potential for riches started to quench her anger rather quickly.

  16. Simmone removes her hand from her face, Freyd had been less impressive than she expected. It was odd that a captain of all people would make such a blunder. A bit convinced that perhaps it had something to do with Shiina's presence as this sort of thing seemed more common when she was around. Moving up to rub Kasumi's back and help her settle herself "There there, dear let it out." The black lotus offered in comfort. This had been quite the little show of just how sideways a fight could go, between them all it was very obvious that there was some oddity at play here. Just what skill did the songstress have that made all conflicts end in this way was very interesting.

    Looking to Shiina and Freyd while nursing the girl in orange hair she'd ask "Is this it then? all are the requirements fulfilled. I think its time to settle down a bit after all this fighting" she used the term with what sounded like sarcasm.

  17. With Shiina laying like a stone on the ground, Kasumi trying to barf Simmone could not help but shake her head and blink. This was turning into a ripe fiasco by the moment, Freyd being the only reliable one among them. With an exaggerated sigh, she'd look to the queen which mirrored Shiina and her prone state. Placing her face in her hand she seemed defeated on what to do here, placing her faith in Freyd "Would you kindly finish this mess before it gets any worse."

    It was painfully clear that these children still needed much more work. They had some experience but were still managing to screw up when it mattered most, she was starting to get what the boy in red was preaching. Which beckoned harshly on his own perceptions of her in particular. He had not discussed what issues she may own, and this brought about the curiosity in what he saw.

    A simple nod paid to the man in black, shortly before Kasumi does a follow up and removes the mess from the field. "I suppose that just leaves the big one." Simmone remarks to the pair before her attentions shift and her face turns immediately to horror. "Shiina no! Get away from there." but it was too late, as the boss is removed from flight with a willy little girl strapped to its ass. "Get off of that creature this instant." Simmone barked toward her like a kid about to come to drastic self harm. Looking to Kasumi with an appalled face that meant 'we have failed to keep our eyes peeled on her at all times'

    "Kasumi, Freyd please kill that thing before she gets herself murdered." she asks with a shake of her head, snapping her fingers and recovering Kasumi's stamina being the lowest. She knew her damage wouldn't cut it against something that large and fat.

  19. Looking to Freyd just a tad bit perplexed at the notion as Shiina moved out on her own accord. An impressive show and further still was his remaining energy even after such a powerful strike. Taking a few steps away from the group giving an equal birth between them, she'd look carefully at the group and measure their pools. Effectively still doing fine, she knew that Kasumi would need all the help she could get. A mutter under her breath and a snap of her fingers, the typical entwined helix seems to vanish beneath her feet. A wise trick as to not point the girl out but still offer her the respite she would need. "I am in position as much as I can be, I cant wait..." the words hung a bit "to see this unfold." as her tiny blessing causes the concealed girls EN bar to shift from green to a light blue. The bet had been placed.

  20. Recalling the orange haired girl from a few passages in the hall, the meeting and aiding little Shiina in her attempts at a profession. "Alright, the more the merrier. That is a very good point, as long as you keep an eye on your things with her around. I had a dream once that she actually made a boss uncomfortable." Simmone remarks with her faced a bit scrunched, taking to swapping her bartering attire for her battle equipment before following in tow with Freyd in attempts to follow in Shiina's wake.

    Kasumi's arrival was right on queue to which she would look to Freyd with an usher of her eyes toward Shiina, fainting that now was the time to watch the girl. But to her surprise it was less chaotic as expected as her weapon flared in its sheath as if being charged for a weapon art. Drawing it with her left, it was washed with the girls energy. "What in the hell?" Simmone remarks having not paid the girl too much attention as of late. With a snap of her fingers as they highlight in gold "I've got you dear, keep on going." the golden helix vanishing into her back and with it a sudden jump in her stamina reserves.

  21. Her eye illuminates in gold appraisal as she had not got to enjoy the read upon it. "A pleasure, Freyd. Quite the piece, volatile but systematic all the same. Seemingly stable but a mixture of forces not common. That weapon is vastly worth more than every weapon in these stalls. But you know that, and I remember a few vials that were on my shelf being transferred to that very store. A wise choice if this was to come of it." To most, she would be speaking of the blade itself but it simply was not the case. "Tempt her with a bee..." Simmone offers with a raise of her own eyebrow as the tiny songstress burns a trail away from the pair rather aggressively. "You know now that she is just going to rush on ahead of her own volition now, don't you? A bit of a pain in the behind that child, but she's effective if only by accident."

  22. The woman was doing her best to tone out Shiina and her wacky gibberish so she could make a proper introduction as should have been. "Another guild member, then I suppose the girl was on base in her interpretations. Yes, I am Simmoné Gisellé Anabélla Floria Louisé Escheté. The proprietor of the Black Odyssey and Firm Anima Provisionalist Division at your service." she spoke quickly as if rehearsed and offers an almost pasty white hand to the gentleman as customary. "Flattery will get you everwhere sir, and that sword of yours....is impressive I must say. The girl called you Freyd, but I would wish to hear it from you." She bats an eyelash like a snare intended to trap one's ankle. The party invites rings on her HUD and she accepts it all the same as she offers a response to Shiina "Yes of sorts, depending on the insect. But those would be on my shelves not here." 

  23. Staring at the cloaked gentleman carefully, she can taste the reluctance ever so softly on his voice in a quick deferral. "Keeper, perhaps she has a habit of getting into mischief. At least within the walls of the cities she cannot be harmed." she answers Freyd before Shiina creates a barrier between them "A big kahuna, what exactly is that supposed to uphold?" she was perplexed by the moniker and looked to the cowl while Shiina began to wiggle her weasel like a salt shaker. Felix seemed rather unfazed by Persi and its defensive poster, ever the reckless and fearless alley cat flips and shows its belly with a rattle of a bell. He was stupid, he did not understand that a mongoose was not a cat in the same way a snow leopard was not a cat. She shakes her head and blinks abruptly twice. "I was shopping and somehow I ended up in a carnival."
