  2. Sam takes control of the youngling, an earnest delivery back to the mother. The trip is slowed a bit back given the addition of someone with smaller legs, excluding Shiina who always seemed hopped up on sugar. "It's true." Simmone comments to Shiina in regards to their questing lately, just completely decimating what opposed them. It was as if this was what was always intended, by that ever perceptive red swordsman. "Something with coffee, I could use a bit of a pick me up. I am sure they have sweets." And the moment its spoken sees Shiina perk up and lock to the side of her head. That was the magic words, making the songstress almost immediately forget about missing the little exchange between the raven haired girl and the bats. Just like that the quest was over and now they were making plans for lunch. This game really was strange.

  3. Latching onto the child's hand as Sam was making mess of the smallest little creatures that had bottled the girl in. "Come dear, lets get you out of here." Simmone speaks in a motherly tone and an extension of an ivory pale skinned hand. A small ring of two fingers wrap around her pinky and third. "I've got her, make them learn my dear apprentice." Simmone drops some venom, moving for the mouth with the girl in tow. Her vision blurs from the sudden shift of lighting, as the sounds of a thunder echo out the cave in a very distinguishable explosion. The quest updates accordingly as her steps slow to a walk, waiting for the pair to exit soon after she had. "That mother of yours was worried sick, perhaps next time you keep closer to town?" Simmone spoke with a slide of her hand over the platinum blonde head of the NPC girl.

  4. Sam being through that ring of stone, jumping down floors in an instant Simmone looks to Shiina. "Do you best dear, that little girl is counting on us." Remarked as she moves up and murmurs out the destination forcing the gate to trigger after the light had just began to fade. Sam was already holding a conversation with the mother, Simmone keeping an eye on their extra little addition to the group. Waiting for the gate to trigger, and once it had she'd keep like a tether between the focused and the one that wasn't. To the mouth of a cavern that looked like a lions maw. Rows of jagged spire hung like teeth on its entry, and from within the sounds of sobbing echoed from within it. Their destination to be sure, if that was any indication. The players were vastly too strong for this endeavor, which would make completing it rather paltry. Even still, a little bit of caution never hurt any situation.

  5. Accepting the embrace from the girl, her apprentice was growing up just a tad. Finally a direction from her, instead of having to force her into an activity. The shop had in a way helped her find her way. "Don't take too long dear." Kasumi was right, the man had an idea matched with experience greater then they all had. If anyone could understand her plight it would be him. A glance to Griswold who had been tapping his hands together. "I believe that I should finally take you up on the offer, I'd like to see that store of yours. Given that a good portion of what I sell comes from that hole of yours, I should see what its like." She offered coyly, hiding that it was something she'd been excited about doing for quite some time as of late. Unlike the others, Griswold always seemed so focused on his trade.

  7. "A pleasure dear, I am sure." Simmone quips slinking off of her red recliner, taking another drag of her cigarette before putting it out in the tray. A slide behind the three sectional screen sees her changed into her battle attire, walking near the chair and claiming the rapier from its leaned position. "Quite motivated lately my dear, it looks good on you." Simmone remarks to her apprentice, noting the slight change of tone as well. There was a drive present these last couple exchanges between them. It was welcome, a since of serious to her tone. Curious where it had stemmed from, but she was sure that the girl would give it when she was ready. "After you dear." Simmone quips allowing Sam to take the door first. The glare of floor 7, Deepedge. The shops current location staring back at them. A bright sun burned above, causing both players eyes to dilate heavily.

  8. Simmone still eyeing the clipboard in the pink haired NPC's hand, as she held it up and showed the transactions for the day. A notification causes her attentions to turn, opening it up and noting the author. Eruda. "That is perfect Moro, thank you. Keep an eye on the place for me dear?" She quips toward the child, who nods and yelps "Aye, Mistress!" before rushing off into the entry. Slinking out of her chair and slipping behind a curtain to change from her dress. Back out in a black and slim piece of leather, accenting all the right places on her frame. She kneels and lifts the same rapier from the floor. For the first time, she slides over to a glass case on the far right corner. Drawing a finger down its length, inside lay a rapier in a paled bluish silver. "Soon, just a little more. And then I can use you." She spoke to the item as if it could hear her.

  9. A glance to the stalls, a message attacking the side of her senses. Eruda was out and about, planning to do something or another. A drop of the small necklace back into its place, its enhancements were rather mundane anyway. She'd hit maybe about half of the small shops in the town of beginnings, finding nothing notable worth purchasing. But such was the game, finding the more exquisite things took time and repetition. It would hardly be easy to find that next oddity, Simmone was sure. A softly tapped message returned, a move as her clothes would shift into something suitable. For the gate, and a murmur sees her torn upward in a flash of blue light. "Hello dears, been waiting long?" The black cat asked them, a rhetorical question expecting an invitation. Unsure what easy quest Eruda was eluding to, she was expecting a synopsis soon after. To see what it was they were walking into today.

  10. Simmone slinks in at a rather strange speed for the woman, normally she never lifted a finger. But now seeing that Sam was trapped and Kasumi had failed to finish it off, she drew a long and thin rapier from her hip into her left hand. "Helm Splitter." she murmurs allowing a violet light to play down its birth. "Not applied, shame." Simmone quips to the group, knowing full well they wouldn't know what it meant. A flourish and pivot away, a slender suit of armor on her skin slowing her none. With grace she was away from the potential rebuttal. A look to the rather large smith "Finish him would you kindly?" The black cat asks of him, seeing playing from a massive set of shoulders unbridled flame.

  11. The last to join the group, sizing them all up and recognizing the lot of them. "Seems like a rather well rounded party I must say." Simmone spoke to them, looking to Griswold as he donned his helmet. "So Sam, what are we using as an excuse to slack off today?" Her glance shifts to her apprentice with a slide, joking of course. If only slightly. "So send us an invite then." She continued the jest toward the girl, this quest wasn't well going to complete itself. Simmone was eager to get started and get this show on the road. Looking off into the large cloud of soot that lingered in the sky. It was almost impossible to see what time it was through the air, and a bit of that heat began to press on her chest. This place was truly abysmal and unforgiving. At least hopefully they'd be free of this place much quicker.

  13. "In a way, yes." Simmone spoke to Hidden's quip about her being a conspiracy theorist "Despite your lack of interest, I cannot help but see it as a true fact. Of course evidence is a scarcity, all theory starts unfounded. I would not be where I am today without questioning the world around us." Her eyes advance to the dagger as it begins to shift from one color to the next, being transformed in an instant to what it was true. "Merchants have a way of seeing through what something is, what it truly is. Yes, it's a skill, but also a lesson my dear girl, taking things at face value is the quickest way to be burned." A drag of her cigarette finds more of that smoke, as appraisal reads back the daggers enhancements easily.

    "Accept nothing for what it appears to be." The tone was rather firm, a decree from the heart. "I wonder if you will ever have the answers you unknowingly seek, I would ask of you." She pauses as she rises to the side of her chamber, to a cover on the far right opposite the windows that were offering light within. "If you were to see yourself in an ideal form, what would you see?" Approaching the oddity covered with a rather plain white blanket of cloth, she reaches out and begins to peel it loose. Revealed is a solid <<Platinum Mirror>>, traced in embossed silver. "Would you like to see what it might be? Who you might be? I picked this up in the middle of a cave on floor 22, down a flight of stairs. Do you want to take a look?" This mirror was bought from an NPC for quite the penny, some version of familiarity and a link to calming the soul in the same.

  14. A glance to Freya as Eruda makes her leave, and the tether with Kasumi breaks shortly after. It seems that it was just the two of them now, which was the regular routine. More than likely they would all retire, get a good night's rest after this little escapade. "Well done dear, you really did a number on them." Simmone offers to Freya as she makes motions toward this floors settlement, their affair more than handled with that last destroyed. A pivot on her heels, a redirect of her attention as she slinks the unused silver rapier back into its sheath on her right hip.

    This group made dealing with this oh so much easier, she had to barely lift a finger. Everyone knew what they had to do and it made her job so much simpler to just keep the group sustained throughout the fight. They could as a whole take on something much more difficult than this with no issue. Val Halla was a prime example of the fact, they laid to waste the entire gauntlet with relative ease. Down the narrow walks toward the primary settlement of Yomi, which was mostly empty at this point with the blonde at her side. A large yawn as she eyed the gate. "Get some rest." Simmone takes a glance to her as she is the first to step onto the pad and whisk herself away in a flash.

  15. An inhale of that ash before covering the ceiling with it, a thick white swirl of the stuff. "On the contrary, dear, I am no broker." Simmone answered rather softly. "The answers I can hardly give you, as an interested third party alone. I cannot make those decisions for you. It is worth thinking about." Her attentions dig through the scoff, an intense stare at the girl in platinum white locks. A look to her rapier in its scabbard propped up against a wall, and to the weapon on Hidden's hip. "Purely conjecture, a conversation alone. I can see that these little questions you've never looked too deeply into."

    She'd lean to her right and grab that cup again, taking a small sip of the ever cooling coffee. "The answers to these little insights, these observations from an outsider looking in. I believe they will even beckon further questions, but your conclusion is there. I believe that everything that has transpired has and does have some connection. You would see them as isolated cases, where no two could possibly meet." She begins to rim that cup with her opposed hand after setting down the rod in her clutches.

    "But I beg to differ. The way I see it, is Raidou, the APD's interest in you, this glutton seeking you out and attacking you, before dying. Setsuna is proof that they are not isolated, but fully conjoined in some large web to which you my dear." She places down her apparatus and her vision scans to Hidden with a soft bat of an eye "You are right at the heart of that web, unaware that it is being altered and built around you." A slink up in her chair finds her legs crossed and a lean across her own knees. "How does it feel my dear, to be the center of attention, when you thought that you were doing your best to hide?"

  16. Within those halls, that door sliding shut and becoming anchored a blonde woman had appeared. The mistress was busy holding a conversation, the apprentice was handling another player's affair. But even still in an almost eerie stare, Moro (The pink haired one) seemed to know more than her blank face would allow. "Lessa!" It exhumed, calling her by name in a way that would be jarring.

    It knew her, it expected her.

    Although the player did not know how, like Baldur before her, she had been tagged. If she were ever to enter the shop again, she would be recognized. Sliding into a nearby cupboard, a few pieces fall out as the top half of her torso vanishes within it. "The mistress has marked this for you!" Moro drug the blade in scabbard much too large for her across the floor, flipping it up and lifting the weapon to her. An embossed and gilded thing, the platinum colored sheathe. With an outstretch of her arms upward, just a little too close for comfort. For the player to take it.

    The door slides open, as if Simmone had been notified. Using her arms to conceal what was in her chamber for but a moment, if someone were to squint they'd see Hidden within its confines for but an instant. "What did I miss? Yes, that is the one Moro." Her eyes advance to Lessa "Arcael's Might, a truly powerful piece. It's said that it reflects a sense of justice, and righteous fury. That only one fit to exploit such a fact would be able to wield it. Fluff, I'm sure given the context. But the guild master thought it would suit you."

    Another snap of her fingers as the one single enemy slides past Freya and continues to rush the group. This renews the sharing effect of Simmone's skill to Kasumi who was out of sight, forcing more of her own energy pool down that line. It wouldn't be long now. The single solidary mob continued to avoid the swipes from the blonde twin like a rat scurrying from a cat wishing to make it a plaything. It was almost comical that it was holding on so loose and yet was so determined to escape.

    A glance to her own bar shows that she had nothing to worry about, still long before and above where any sort of concern would be warranted. They could do this almost all day, the average length of the party as a whole was all over half. This thing didn't really stand a chance in hell of succeeding, it wasn't a question of how but when. "Just one left, who will be the first to put this thing down?" Simmone asked the group as it slid below Eruda face first. The weapon in the girls hand burns bright with hue and begins a high pitch whine. That seemed the most accurate an answer as any, as the blonde tank was about to pound it into a jelly, with a coupe de gras to its ass.

  18. A pause and a glance to Hidden as she would speak, elevating and fluctuating on her emotions. Simmone keeps her answers, just as truthful for she had nothing to hide. "Not at first, No. The boy in red is rather...Interesting in how he handles his affairs. Which I am sure you're aware." Simmone takes another drag and curves her lips to blow it off to the side, sprawling out on her recliner and keeping a rather complacent eye on Hidden for conversation. "Curious still, is that Setsuna would be on your tail." A lean over and suck on the top of the pure white porcelain cup at her side on a nearby table. The cat at her side rolling and showing that ID'd object completed.

    "And would assist you, when she despises your cursor with a passion. Enough to kill others over it. So..." she'd pause and begin her recount what was stated back, bringing the bigger picture into full view.

    A lift of her hand in front of her in a limp recount as she'd use her fingers to count all the strange moving parts. "The glutton is dead, the girl that cannot stand you just simply showed up, helped out of the blue... Without a reason that you can think of, and you're completely sure that he couldn't possibly have been found. That's a lot of lightning striking twice? No?" Setting down that tea cup and moving back for the long black rod with a glowing orange ember on its end, tapping it into a tray and allowing the light gray remnant to fall.

    "I assure you Hidden, I have no reason to lie to you. I do know not who has done it, and frankly I hardly care. But you my dear, that story is more than interesting enough. There is hardly any that get close enough to that boy to speak with him, and yet..." Another pause and a sharp inhale, followed by a slow and steady exhale that builds a soft obscurity of ash. "Yet he's shown interest in you, and moreover it could hardly be a coincidence no? Was it this other that would see him killed? Are they capable of taking down the man? Did he just happen to fall by accident? These are the true questions are they not?" Her smile returns, replacing that quizzical mind and placid softness with a grin.

  19. A step away as the woman would take one herself backward, a soft chuckle as she knew the type. That rose tint to her cheeks was even more interesting than what was spoken. "Ah yes, the glutton." She'd take a drag and look out the window, another slow pull and exhale. "He's also a name you hear from time to time, a buyer like myself. I've seen him, but once. Shifty fellow, a bit smooth and knows how to speak to get what he wants." Leaning against the back of her chair, folding her legs and lifting them up the thing. The slit on her dress breaks and shows that illustrious ivory skin. A jingle of a bell, a cat jumps on the side and begins eyeing the piece that Hidden wished to identify. A flash and it was handled in an instant. 

    "Your deal, so you have a deal with him then?" Simmone held to that phrase, spoken like a question. "A kidnapping, and you're sure he wasn't there? There is no longer a reason to hold my tongue, dear, for the owner of the information I am going to spoil is no longer living." She'd pause for dramatic effect with a coy grin on her lips. "Nothing flowery indeed poor child, they assume you a traitor, a danger and have put a bounty on your head. So if its a deal of inconvenience you meant instead, I will not hold it against you, but I fail to see anything he would get out of your little arrangement." That cloud of white bleeds out hiding her from view for a moment. "The Green Glutton, is dead." and with it her eyes flare gold.

  20. "Au contrare my dear, as much as I would wish to charge more for my services. The guild master forbids me from doing so to any patron, the cost is purely what is owed to the cardinal. Nothing more and nothing less." She takes another long drag of that cigarette and breathes it out slowly before placing it into a nearby tray as the doors snap shut via the NPC girls behind her. "These walls, no one can hear you." She pauses for a moment before saying the rest. "Hidden, your quite the talk of the towns, you know. That secret will remain safe with me, I do not sell words but buy them." The black lotus stands and moves closer to the girl, holding but a few inches on her in height and draped in that long loose fitting yukata in blacks and golds.

    "I see you are hiding yourself behind those words, for my sake or for the sake of civility. Don't my dear. Be yourself, be proud of it for you do me a disservice holding your tongue on my account." Simmone bats a lash, a pair of burgundy red iris seeing right through the charade. The woman was practiced in these little affairs, time and time again, there would be some in her court that would try to put on a front, she'd become routine in seeing through them. "So my girl the question is, why does Raidou pass his protection onto you, with your very obvious little cursor showing your past?" She was curious, as it was an oddity she wished to collect as she held that slip of paper out and offered it to the woman.

  21. A pulse of that color and a snap of her fingers links Simmone to Kasumi, drawing a faint line between them both before it disappears in an instant. "There dear, keep on your toes." The black cat comments as she watches the girls bar on the side of the screen shift from its lime green to a soft blue, signifying the bond taking hold. The field was still littered with quite the number of hallowed creatures, even with the boss felled. It wouldn't be long before the rest of this rabble was put down and they would be finished. The quest was done long ago, now was just clean up.

    "Clean them up, all we have left to handle." Her eyes shift to Eruda who was preparing to pull again, it was routine execution. There was an odd strength in this exchange. The group had absolutely not a single issue in numbers. There was something to this whole Firm Anima thing that Raidou had eluded to, and Simmone couldn't help but smile to the result.

  22. A click her feet against the white marble floor, the town was asleep with only a dim glow bleeding out through. It was all but empty for only that one woman passing through, stepping up onto the platform and forcing it to trigger. A moment later and she was on floor 10, Tartarus. The eerie green glow bled over the walls, from large mushrooms that clung to the ceiling. Simmone looks for the now forming group of players, her guild mates out for a late night stroll. "You all look so beat." she spoke to them bluntly, fighting back a yawn of her own. A couple familiars playing at their sides, the largest seeming unenthusiastic. "So what is the game plan girls?" Simmone asks them all, as a shriek that echoes out down the cavern and labyrinth walls.

    Her attentions shift rather quickly, with a raise of her brow in curiosity. If she was a betting woman, that would more than likely be their target. Something like that was hardly a coincidence, and Simmone wasn't quite the fool. Taking the first steps toward the exterior, a lift of her right hand in a beckon. "You coming girls? faster we get this done." A wave of her hand in a motion to follow "The faster we can find a bed to fall in." A sudden pulse as her eyes shift from a burgundy to a bright gold, and a smile "Easy. This way."

  23. Softly stroking the cat on her lap as the gold in her iris fades, another pathetic and low quality item that would prove of no use to anyone. Tossing it into a pile of some twenty others as she snapped her fingers. The two NPC children rush in, one claiming the 3 or 4 worth keeping while the others well. They instantly vanish into a pile of coins, a flash of gold light and they were gone. Simmone was right where she expected to land, it was within margin based on chance. She was willing to play the odds though, and was one of the best in the business. A message from the blonde tank, a smile and a glance out the window. "So late in the evening, aren't we the ambitious one?" The black cat asked the confines of her shop rhetorically before transposing a response. Into her gear, she prepares for the journey. Through the variable rough that made up floor 17, the Nemean planes and into Athenia in its marble of white. She'd be there.

  24. Simmone eyes the strange globe of crystalline glass, it spins with a weird fog as she peers into it like a fortune teller. It was a rather odd object that was intriguing her to no end, every time she peered into it the thing seemed to appear differently. Like the large platinum mirror that always showed you some semblance of yourself, but not quite 100% correct, this place had quite the most obtuse objects. Each one of them drew her eye and her curiosity. A message received from that slacking apprentice of hers, but it was fine. Business was slow today and Moro and Maru should be able to handle who ever walked in alone, it wasn't until there was multiple orders where they started to fret. Leaning off to her side and plucking her rapier from its leaned position, she'd get ready and from floor 4's cold she'd usher up to the flames of floor 9. Remembering it from last time, the heat was still just as unbearable as before.

  25. As Kasumi falls back and Haine clears the gap, dropping her own polearm through a section of ice causing it to squeal and melt beneath the swing. Not a single member of the party seemed worried, as Simmone scanned them it was almost reassuring. A reach out at tap of the blossoms shoulders as she slides past. "Well done dear, a pick me up." The lotus exclaims as she folds her arms in front of her and looks up toward the moving mountain, just as a huge portion of its health bar immediately evaporates. "This isn't quite far is it?" Simmone asked the rest of the group as they huddled withdrawing from attacks made and waited for the skill stasis to fade. A wander past of a red robe, the last that had to act. That odd man that was enigmatic and strange, Simmone could hardly peg. "No, that's the point."
