  1. Concentration CD [1/5], Charge CD [1/3], Keen in effect!

    Picking up speed as soon as she senses hostilities, Kasumi leaps into the air and slams the first black hatchling. Her heel connects in a wide overhead arch, sending the thing spiraling into a pile of the same still attempting to get up. The impact alone was enough to see a chain of destruction riddling through them all, rough stone shattering beneath the blast. Health bars depleted, one by one they all expire. "Easy enough." Kasumi quips toward the rest of the group, catching the faintest bit of movement moving in as a form of rebuttal. The larger kin of those they destroyed, mother was gone, but these children would quickly replace them. Kasumi knew what must be done. The girl pivots on her heels and slides out of an attempted jaw snapping toward her, sliding her feet and raising a hand to catch an aggressive snout. Disappearing into a shower of gracefully falling petals.

  2. A snap of her wrist and a downward driven set of fingers. They pierce tough and slightly reddish flesh like a spear, and as they are torn clean it leaves a distinguishable and deep red hole. A trail of red as it's pulled out. Ugzeke bellows, and Kasumi has to stem a raising bit of uncomfortability blooming in her stomach. It sucked, but was mandatory for her to do. Again she had to tell herself that these things were not real, they should not be worried about or mourned. But it was tough, given they breathed, they cried, and they moved like living things. "Finish it." Kasumi snaps, shaking her hand to release the lingering shards of star stuff from the lines on her skin. There was this strangest mix of something that had never existed in her before: Anger or frustration. Often times she was far too gentle for such a thing to exist, but something had changed. The fact of the matter was, was it for the better or for worse?

  3. Keen in effect

    Following up behind, Gaius with an instant slam of her hand into the creature's spine. A snap, like a branch being broken, sees the thing begin to breathe heavy and start to collapse. A raised hand like a blade near the left side of her face, she'd driven that hand like a blade into the base of its neck. Its appendages quickly turn to liquid, having trouble supporting its weight. "Now!" Kasumi yelps, attempting to drive the rest of her party to attack while it was exposed. Her arms and legs sweep, entering a defensive posture while she'd wait out the skill stasis that played after every swing. An exhalation works to stabilize her breathing. That same and familiar cyan blue line appears right after the decree, her and Setsuna were in fact a package deal. They were so used to operating in tandem at this point, that it was almost second nature. The one two punch of the guild, that didn't leave much left to finish off.

  4. Keen In Effect

    Right past Setsuna her attention kind of catches before she shakes her head, the girl had swapped from companion to hunter in an instant. This was going to get real ugly, Kasumi worked with her and knew what this meant. Into the fray, allowing the damage she'd taken to fall from her mind. "I'm fine." Her foot connects after an abrupt pivot, seeing more of the creature's scales shatter like glass and fall away. She'd keep working away at it and keep everyone operating at full capacity. As she turns and starts to disengage, she can see Griswold's grip slipping. Just a little more, just have to hang in there for a little while longer. In that brief instant, a sinister cold makes her skin burn. Her opening had been used, the reduction in this thing's armor had been used to brutal efficiency. Setsuna was creeping death, and this was its proof.

    Vicious Stomp: In the case of a CD 6-9 and LD 10+, the Matriarch will stomp the ground, lowering the entire party’s EVA by 1 for two turns. This effect does not stacked and any further activations will refresh its duration.
    Preparation: Every four turns, the boss will attack the player with the highest hate for 100 DMG before flying up in the air, preparing to bombard the players with fire on its next turn. 
    Hellfire: After staying in <<Preparation>> for a turn uninterrupted, the boss will breathe out fire on the players, dealing 300 unmitigatable DMG and applying 24 Burn DMG for the next two turns.
    Bring Down The House: If the Matriarch is still in <<Preparation>>, players can deal 750 DMG to it to knock it out of the sky. Doing so will prevent it from using <<Hellfire>> and deal an additional 250 unmitigatable DMG to it.

  5. ID:202324 | Battle:7, Craft:1, Loot:15+6=21 (Stealth Rating)

    The dragon begins to right itself, having been grounded far too quickly. A heavy breath in sees its maw begin to glow, its aim? To set all these players on fire. But it only reaches even the slightest kindling before a rocketing purple line sees Kasumi apparate out of nowhere, a shockwave following behind the blow seeing a scattering of teeth and scales. Something vital beneath its jaw folds in, and it gags, as its mouth is slammed shut with the force. "Setsuna!" Kasumi bellows as it attempts to rake her with a claw in rebuttal, lifting a large right leg up and slicing toward the black clad girl. It passes through her as if like water, leaving only a shower of petals behind the attack as if she was a figment. Elsewhere, Kasumi appears, having been long gone as the attack was made toward an after image. Her hands and feet sweep, and form a stance ready to make another showing.

  6. ID:202319 | Battle:3, Craft:6, Loot:6+6=12 (Stealth Rating)

    On the opposed part of the spectrum, sweeping left, was Kasumi. Each were playing the part of scout, with Celeste taking up the rear and keeping an eye on their own backs. They'd formed a strange triangle of eyesight. ~Nothing, keep moving. The message rings through shortly after Setsuna's. A graceful leap into a slide, as she takes a position beneath a bit of rubble to shield herself from the sky. Massive beasts skirted the air above, painting large shadows with every pass. They were looking for the nexus, given the queen of these things was pumping out offspring at an extreme rate. There was a proof and a horde of liquid resource that the guild desired. They were all easily the top end of the scale, so they figured between the lot of them they could handle this. They were all prepared and refined to work together. Even that damned Gaius, who had definitely grown into his big head. That punch had did him some good.

  7. Another deep breath as she fought against that troubled and scattered breath, trying to take control of a rapid beating heart that felt so real. "Where did she go." Her eyes trail the horizon, to the other players it might just look like concern. But it was starting to sink in where she'd seen her before, as Kasumi was on the precipice of meditation now that her consciousness was fleeting. That is where she remembered her from, having now clicked into place. Kasumi was supposed to seek her out, and if had dawned on her earlier then... What would she have done? It's not like they had a single moment where something wasn't making attacks at their group. Was this a diversion or a happy accident? "Did anyone see where she went?" The words were weak, weaker than had ever been produced by the girl. It would be clear she wanted to give chase.

  8. Eyes still stuck on Freyd, as her head turns, they were back on the beach. The cave was gone, and with it the woman as well. As mysterious as she'd appeared, and she had all but vanished the same. Collapsing on her rear end, touching her right hand to her head as a way of supporting it. Her vision blurring black for a moment. The ground trembles, and she quickly turns on her butt. Punching out of the dirt like a bunch of missiles out of a silo, a pile of tiny worms that didn't seem to be that big of a threat. "What now?" Kasumi quickly wiggles her head to try and get her vision to settle straight. She was pretty damn hard-pressed and damn near on the verge of passing the hell out, but she was still awake for now. They begin to snake outward along the sand, and Kasumi cannot find the strength to stand and give pursuit.

  9. Keen in Effect, Concentration CD [4/5]

    Rocketing in and slamming a parade of fists one after another with a graceful and yet violent display, Ugzeke becoming limp as blow after blow. Each compounded with a flash of purple light, twisted into a whole new realm of dynamite by the music being played. The impacts one after another clap like thunder, leaving sockets behind as they find purchase. Shiina's music was really dialing crap up to 11. She catches it, the humming. Her strikes slowing down with a heavy pant making her lungs burn. They were coming from that silver haired woman, and noticeably Shiina's symbols seemed static and distorted, as if glitching out. What the hell was going on? Her eyes catch Freyd's as she fights with belated breath, hoping for some acknowledgement or understanding from him like a silent plead. This was strange, right? Skills acting funny, the fact they kept teleporting everywhere without any effort to do so.

    As soon as Ugzeke illuminates, Kasumi peels back her fist and kneels low as a reflex. Jamming a pair of outstretched fingers on her right hand into his stomach. It carves into his gut like a knife, and as she tears it out, it bleeds like one as well. Composition fails, as the large humanoid doubles over in feigned pain. Instinctually, he slams a heavy hand matched with club into the stone below, a physical show and tell of anger. Frustration. Again, players had found their way into his cave and he'd make them pay. Sliding her feet and entering a more defensive posture, a lifted 90 degree arm, and a tucked away right. Left leg leads beneath her shoulder as they lock into place from a sweeping circle, mirrored hands and feet in one consistent linking. Each finds an end at once, practice made perfect. She wasn't about to hesitate, he'd die here before he could hurt her friends.

  11. Concentration CD [2/5], Charge CD [2/3], Keen in Effect

    Darting from the sides, her hair following behind almost straight back from her head as she picks up speed. Into the air with the biggest of ease, she pivots while airborne and drops her heel from a nigh almost painful flexibility. It drops into a rather jagged looking shell atop the beast, that dim grayish green armor breaking off in clumps with the half circle in purple ending upon the space between its eyes. The thing staggers and sways for a moment, virtually dazed from the impact. "Just a little more." As her feet turn, the beasts head into a platform, jumping into the sky and disappearing in that typical explosion of flowers. Two blinks later, she was behind the group with her arms raised, glowing hot with lilac hue. Feet slide as she squares up and begins dumping her reserves into her arms and feet. Her breath was a little troubled, but she had to see this through.

  12. Concentration CD [1/5], Charge CD [1/3], Keen in Effect

    As Freyd obliterates an arm and gives a quick synopsis of the creature. This was her first time fighting it, The girl yelps toward him. "Right." *Tap, Tap* into the sand before she lunges, her torso beginning to turn. An aerial pirouette sees a leg that was tucked tightly break free and become a sling. It slams into a joint just above a set of long spindly legs and one can hear a single one snap. Exposing some steamy, hot white jello through the hole in the shell. The girl appears just after the impact, having escaped to keep herself out of harms way. That continued get in, deal the damage and break off was the staple of her section of the guild. Each did the same, allowing the disengage for the vanguard to peel aggro. Little by little, they had become nigh experts in the game when initially they started completely absent-minded.

  13. "Not quite, you'll get power, but you'll compromise your balance. It's important that your legs remain planted on the floor." Her eyes switch to Freyd, who was easily carving away. There was some semblance of training in his posture, and with its serenity. It was as if he was dusting off an old friend he hadn't seen in a while. "I'm no expert, I've just been doing this for quite some time." Spoken as Lium wobbles with his center of gravity out of wack. At least he was enthusiastic, and his punches were of adequate force. But god forbid if he missed his target, and flew past ass over teakettle. "Watch closely." Kasumi inhales, her feet sliding in circles and her arms mirroring the same. In one fluid motion, her fist impacts sending a spray of stone and dust. Every piece of her frame mirrored across, every bit of force in her right copied into an antithesis on the opposed half.

  14. Keen in Effect

    A spin on her heels, as Freyd seemed to come to his senses. "After." The girl remarks, shooting an eye toward Nisa, the feeling of nostalgia on her thoughts. Lunging toward her target, immediately discharging in an explosion of petals that quickly lose momentum and fall in slow trickles. The ancient stirs, before its blasted on its flank from Kasumi's heel. More splinters spray out in a violent display, as hairline fractures begin to dart along its bark like innards. That shit hurt, she'd hit something vital. It bends and recoils, feet staggering as it reeled from that attack. Its large hands loom, tree branches, hoping to catch the girl and crush her. Wrapping those wood fingers around her form, it starts to squeeze.

    *poof*

    All that's left is a tiny shower of purple petals, a total made ya look that had won the gambit. Left dazzled, it starts to scoop at the pieces as if trying to piece the girl back together.

  15. A spin on her heel, a twist of her frame and still overtly and unknowingly revealed. Her fist finds purchase on the stone, the very same that she's battled time and time again. "Notice my stance, feet shoulder width apart." Repeating the same instruction she'd given Haine & Kiluia. "Its important that you treat your hands as if they are linked. As one goes forward, the other must slide back like a counterweight." Kasumi accents what she's saying with a quick jerk, her left arm moving forward as the opposed seeks a place near her waist. It connects...hard. A smattering of pebbles confirm the validity of her teaching, with the added benefit of a large break and cut in the spherical lump of rock. "Now you try." She beckons to Eruda as her hand opens up and drops a bit of those stone slivers with a clap. This was why she was here after all, to teach Eruda how to fight hand to hand.

  16. Looking on as her captain, for the first time she'd ever seen him do it: Became distracted. "Freyd." she comments with the parade of massive footprints making the ground shake as they gain tempo "Freyd." she attempts again to grab his attention. "Freyd!" yelped as a pair of large arms raise up high. Like a bullet, Kasumi slams into the beast with forces unimaginable to her frame. A spray of hard bark flies off like shrapnel, exposing a soft bit of white flesh beneath that shell. "Now isn't the time." The reality sunk in, that not only could it be that woman, but she seemed to have some connection with her captain as well. "Let's kill this, then you can ask your questions. We aren't going to get much answers if we die first."

    Paying a nod to both men, and tapping the creature dangling out of her hair that was keeping it tied up so that it would retract and remain out of harms way. "Sand? Like the shark?" Kasumi inquired for but a moment, before she'd let the question fall on deaf ears. It shouldn't or wouldn't matter. Between her and Freyd she wasn't concerned at the group's output. Eyes scan the horizon, keeping tally as they all were making motions toward a goal that lingered on the tip of every tongue. "I'll be ready, once the rest of the group engages." The immediate shift in tones, as her clothes shift to black. Pulling taut the wraps around her hands, sizing up the foe through the trees. Buckling through those tightened ties, a slight squeal of a fist packed tightly to show it was solid. A turn in the sand sees just a bit of it spray, before she blinks out of reality.

  18. Water pounding around her shoulders as she continues to instruct, completely unaware that her skin was becoming visible through her *facepalm* solid white gii. "Try your best to relax, Lium. Allow your mind to release itself. To remain fluid in combat, one needs to distance themselves from wavering or hesitation. In through the nose and..." Her eyes close, swaying her head forward as she exhales. As they open and are washed in a purple light for a brief instant. Kasumi was a physical weapon, with training that stemmed back from a ripe young age. Ability was finely honed through reflex alone, and to all that would witness it would appear to be second nature to the girl.

    "Give it a shot, Eruda." She wasn't quite sure if Freyd needed any tutor, as he was her captain. It was a little off-putting, unsure how to instruct who she considered her superior, her senpai. Persi was already at the girl's side, a sprinkle of water parading on the creature, and clearly completely in control of her own thoughts. A soft inhale and exhale, Persistence was already a master. Swooning with a blush, as she peeks out of one of her eyes toward Freyd's 'pet' which clearly that role may have been reversed.

  19. A pat of Persi, she was strangely soft and a bit colder than the girl expected. Kasumi moves a hand behind her waist, removing a fistful of pink petals she'd plucked from the Fields of Crossing, still fresh. Lighting them like potpourri allows the smoke to drift slowly, the star speckled mongoose lapping them up as Kasumi smiles. Lagging behind the others, she perks up when she starts her name ooze out of her comrade's lips. "Sorry. Right." she preaches, hopping up and dusting the lower part of her gii.

    Immediately inverted, on her hands playing the part of legs. The skirt unfurls, as she finds a point of balance. Raising her right arm out to the side, and yet still keeping steady on her less dominant side. "The trick is if you intend to use your body as a weapon. Then you must sharpen it as you would a weapon." There was a grin still, something still chipper in her tone as she began to instruct. A whole weave of hair dangling and beginning to slide in the dirt, as her white undies are on full blast.

  20. An intensity immediately falls, as her eyes move to Persi. A tiny strut, chipper pacing like tiny hops. Kasumi squeals, clutching her hands to her face. Despite any existence or level, despite how effective she could be in combat. She was still a girl, and Persi was by all intents and purposes: Adorable. Discussion devolves into background white noise, as she is caught in a trance watching the familiar move. "You broke the boulder all by yourself!" starting to speak to the star shine eyes.

    The girl was following, but it wasn't for the quest, and it wasn't to break a boulder, no. It was entirely trailing behind that beautiful black creature, with the intention of petting it and learning her. "What does she eat? Can I pet her?" and within that instant, Kasumi would look strangely similar to Shiina. A harsh cough, and a flushed face, embarrassed. "Excuse me." Her head twists as she rims her ear with her fingers, pushing behind and trying to hide a lobster like redness.

  21. Snapping to, the light in her eyes fades immediately as she begins to choke. Clutching her throat as her clothes shift back to white, she begins to cough up water. Eyes immediately dart to the water, and around her, seeking the origin of the voice she had heard. A dream ended in an instant, one that for the first time ever she was able to actually pilot. "Who are you?" Kasumi struggles out between troubled breath, trying to wrap her head around what exactly just transpired. She was dry, there wasn't even the semblance of wetness to her, save the mouthful of seawater she just hacked out.

    Evidently, the words start to sink in, becoming processed after the shock begins to fade. "Child of the waves?" she looks at her hands, inspecting her fingers, and recalls the feeling of being submerged. "What does that mean..." Kasumi was so confused, so taken back by the principle. Lifting a wrist to her mouth and wiping away some spiddle, correcting her hair after. Nervously, she clasps a bit and begins to run her fingers through that strand, trying to understand. "Blood is thicker than water? Raidou?" This voice seemed to know far more than it appeared, and what was more frightening was that she had no idea where it came from. Her hands ball into fists, and with it a determination, "I'll find you, I want answers."

  22. Jarring and jerking for but a single instant, blinking softly as her eyes continued to burn. Lost within her headspace, caught off guard. Returning to the wheel, in a way that she never had. Back in control of this dream, reaching out and feeling the pressure of water against her skin, but air can find her lungs. "Who is there?" Kasumi reaches out in those tides, as that version of her begins to close its eyes. Perceptions betrayed her, for it was hearing that allowed it at first.

    "Strike Swift, Leave None"

    Still trapped, locked in place to the sound of roaring falls. The ripples screamed out from insistent droplets that rained down its face, casting a white mist over the whole surface. A spectrum of color cast through orange light that plays against that shower. Grasping out at its source, desperate to understand the foreign influence. "Where are you? I can hear you." The girl chokes out but finds it doesn't make an awful lot of sound, instead being muffled by the thick ocean.

    "Cut Deep, Worry None"

    Gritting her teeth and trying again to pierce that vacuum, her lungs burning. She needed to know, it felt so familiar and yet so fake. So real and yet nonexistent, did she imagine it? Her eyes dart upward, and catch the semblance of red being twisted and allowing but a single strand to pierce the dark bed. Where was she? Who was she? Another twist of her head, trying to focus as she struggled with command of this dream. "I need to know." Kasumi attempts to scream, but the words find no volume. A sense of defeat, of dread. One that had claimed her before without her acknowledging it, meditation being domineered and driven without her hands.

    "Rapid Death to those that have mistreated me."

  23. Water pools into an ever clear surface of water. A deft breeze riddles trees and climbs its way through the leaves, finding small birds that take flight upon it. Swerving and beelining with twists and bends. Same breeze, carries with it hair in orange. Burning bright in a waning blaze, matching the sky as it wains in beckon of a coming night. A somber play, and with it a steady breathing that is hard to make out. Kasumi. Droning words that can hardly be made out clearly, as the threatening moon begins to rise.

    Eyes open, and reveal a color of lavender. Absent of definition, as they are sucked into the waves. That stare seemed so lost, as if it sees for leagues. A theater of the mind, memory and motive linger on the tip of her lips. Her clothes as if on queue reflect that mental dive, black as signature of hostile intention. "Strike swift, leave none. Cut deep, worry none. Rapid death to those who have mistreated me." Lingering thoughts swirl, diving into a past in a fashion oh so similar to her 'cousin' and yet they were not related from how life had treated it.

    Perhaps it was in their uprising that this blizzard was formed? Was it the clan that had done this to these children? Or was it in their blood? Depths of her mind, footsteps that rattle and seem to carry on after they had been placed.

  24. Scampering through the jungle rather quickly, leaving the solace of the waterfall behind. Lunge after lunge, from tree to tree. Latching on to the last, and spinning around the trunk as she slides down. A few heavy steps break momentum as she eyes the native looking NPC within Krycim, who were just as ripe with activity. Adjusting the ties on her thighs, and brushing off a leaf trapped in one of the loops. Kasumi flicks it away, before hopping up onto the warp gate. "Floor 2 - Marome" it flickers with blue lights, drawing in a ring beneath her and casting a shadow over her face. A bend and twist of reality with a supersonic pulse, and she's rocketed downward in an instant.

    To her hands as she steps free, pulling on ribbons wrapped around her palms and tugging them tight. "I'm here." Kasumi remarks as she taps her toes in the sand, righting a tabi that was just a bit off kilter. It had been quite some time since her last affair with this quest in particular, being with Haine & Kiluia who she hadn't seen much of as of late. The girl had promised Eruda to help her out on this, from one friend to another after a slew of girly conversation. Better late than never.

  25. Soft trickle of water into a pond, breaking the surface into ripples. The smallest of breeze, that tickles the bangs above her eyes. Closed, and drinking in the girl's surroundings. Serene and absent of thought, as in her own mind a stillness. Image alone, meditation in submersion. Most could not obtain such serenity, and Kasumi seemed untouched and statuesque. Legs crossed and beneath her, hands open, palms toward an afternoon sky. White clouds drifting unnoticed.

    Close enough, and you can hear her breathe. But it was drowned by the song of nature around her. Eyes open, listing and revealing a sickly purple glow. Doll like, pupil so large it felt as though it could absorb the surrounding space. Her clothes shift from white to black, a reflex alone as she dived this headspace. Like autopilot, the words drone from her lips. "Act, not think, do, not try. Smite, not pardon. Kill, not falter. These are the teachings of our clan, follow them or be broken." A message snaps her to attention, and the light fades.

    Her pupils return, and the color of her clothes shift immediately back to white

    It was from Eruda. A smile and a promise acknowledged. Hastily typing back as she stands, she'd be there.
