  4. Rushing alongside her teammates, friends and family. Her captain, her cousin and every hand that had ever given her a raise up. Bobbing and weaving through the sea of black, as a green glow catches her attention. She raises her arms and gets prepared to retreat. But the flames vanish, and Kasumi only manages to catch a glimpse of the culprit. Setsuna? Her stance widens abruptly, apart and folded. A high pitch whir as a soft bluish purple glow claims the flats of her feet. Lunging with her motives clear, as a group of Montjoy follow suit like a reflection on water. Lun'rael snaps toward them, as her teeth shatter from her own gemini like copy. A single blow, just below the jaw. Her heel digs in with such fervor at first it seems as though she'd be consumed by the flesh. But there was a notable click, beneath her foot. Something had fractured, broken. Buckling flesh recoils, as the pure tide places a hand against it and leaps for cover. A cough and gag, as she joins arms with her own duplicate and spins with the exchanged speed. A shower of purple petals, and some that could mirror them with black. A single downward axe kick slams its maw shut and causes it to plummet.

  5. Vanish CD [1/3]

    Stumbling to his feet, the entity still gasping for air but starting to become filled with desperation. It was rather sad, and before the girl may have hesitated. Now she had something to prove, to herself and the others within this chamber. Springing rather abruptly, at an angle before, she drives the blade of her right foot clean through a helmet on his brow. It splays open in halves as her feet find purchase on his dome, using them as a doormat. The chained attacks pound him into the floor in an instant, and panting, the girl hops off. "No matter how big you are." Kasumi murmurs with a sweep of her arms drawing these almost dance like circles. They correct in front of her in a pop out as her feet move below her shoulders. "It means nothing without knowing how to use it."

    Be relentless, persistent like waves upon a shore. Even a mountain will fall to the sea.

  6. Absolution, a complete an utter obliteration at the drop of a hat. Where Freyd waxes the first set, Freya quickly follows suit. A violent tear sees them weakened, without warning or any sense of direction a single sweeping foot tears across all three. The momentum alone sends them reeling before being impaled on the spires, playing the part of pikes. The general didn't seem phased in the slightest to either girl's initial attack, but as he attempts to make due to the crashing wave and her exposure. The girl slides past the blow as if it was a practiced dance, all before he howls out in regret. Those that stood on his flank would see it, as her hand slipped right through the armor and out the back. The thing offers a sharp cough as it struggles to fill a collapsed lung, Kasumi ripping that spear out as if she had nailed its heart. He takes two steps and falls face first. The glimmer of red still clung to her skin, and with that a horror that was her training.

  7. "Taking pride in killing your opponent, is a recipe for disaster." Kasumi forebode, knowing full well where that led. She'd experienced something similar first hand, at the hands of Raijin and his dastardly tutelage. Savoring, overpowering a foe always left one seeking more. "It may be healthy to find a better outlet." There was almost a strange mix of pity and training in her voice. That anger that Freya was feeding on would consume her. Pulling tight the ribbon in her hair, she looks to the other two of their group. Mainly her captain, and if attention was paid, her eyes darting toward Freya. As if signalling, this may be a problem that we need to look into. It would be only a matter of time before typical mobs no longer satisfied that thirst, and she turned her blade to people. Correcting that course first would be first and foremost, and Kasumi didn't know her well enough to provide such comforts.

  8. A simple nod toward her captain, shoring up her legs from the spread and tapping the toes of her right foot in the dust. There was a silent understanding as she tightened the orange ribbon in her hair, and they would wait idly by should such a command arise again. The girl lunges toward the dark leaves of the canopy, a blink of purple light, leaving a spray of small petals that glimmer down softly. Spinning through the air, like confetti, harmlessly. They'd play the part of shadows, just outside the peripheral of what was visible. Freyd needed no sight to move his pieces, the board was his to control. To every body were two hands, and in each was a weapon ready to draw blood. Judgment came swift to those that opposed him and his intentions, and it all would ever require is a simple snap of a finger.

  9. Relaxed: Full EN restored

    It would be a mistake to underestimate one's opponent, it may have been easy once. But in method, to assume that this instance would be the same would be a folly. "Then the routine will be the same." Kasumi mutters through her stance, centering herself and stabilizing her breathing through an active control. Like a timer on an oven, a small ding catches her ear. But the girl pays it no mind, holding a beating heart to an alternative rhythm through a set pattern of inhale and exhale. Kasumi seemed so calm, so collected in her meditation. She could pick up every sound, every shifting piece of stone that moved within her immediate proximity as her mind extended outward. Washed clean of all form of distractions, it was a real-world skill made functional in a figment. Her eyes slowly open, as she raises to her feet. "It's a mix of a skill and one given to me by my familiar." A tap of her hair again sees the effect return, casting a change in hue over her attire. "It's much harder to remain unseen in white."

  10. Charge CD [1/3], Concentration CD [1/5]

    "Understood" spoken in tandem with a mirrored assassin, as a parade of whispers drew arms and began to circle. Without warning, Kasumi rushes the reflection of Mari with a set of Montjoy at her back. She slows to a slide as the shadows hiss, slamming weapons into a produced pole arm of her own. That orange hair bends and twists, being illuminated by light with each successive blow. The crashing wave follows suit, providing adequate pressure and making the thing desperate. A swipe of her leg, it ducks. Jabbing an extended set of fingers with a high pitch whir.  "Now you die!" It boasts, weaving past the attack and ripping the spear over her head with the intent to drop it. Down in an aggressive tear, a wide spray of orange color. But it stops, dead. Rattling and shaking, this clone looks past her own arms to find Kasumi leaned low. The point clapped between a pair of hands, struggling to push it down through the trap. Death was on the horizon as arms begin to wobble after a single line of blue darts past just above Kasumi's head, small flakes of frost beginning to form around her neck.

  11. A scattering of lilac petals, swaying ever softly like snow. The blow rings out, as a trail of purplish light slams into the side of a pale reflection. This false personification, rising to the flats of her feet, only had just barely managed to wipe the dribble from her mouth before getting sideswiped by an extended leg. The crashing wave retracts an extended black clothed leg, a soft exhalation escaping her lungs signifying some semblance of practice. Her foot falls, and find purchase before sliding apart. Arms find a place to anchor after large circles, right: to her hip and left: just in front of her face. It was here, in this brief reset, that an icy cold light bounces past, like a ricocheting bullet and bringing with it a parade of eerie white fog. Upon a captain's orders, the things in the shadows. There was a yin to her yang, and no attack from her was complete without the other half.

    A slide of her hand into an awaiting ponytail sees a tiny head poke up, an itty bitty pink tongue pop out. Her clothes shift from black to white, a moment of rest so the skill could fade. "I've been on at least one before." Her view twists to Freyd and Raidou. "What do we expect to encounter?" curious prodding on Kasumi's end. This was her first real one on one conversation with Freya, and she was going to weigh just how much the girl had paid attention. Watching an almost boyish inspection of her body, beckoned the girl to check herself as well out of impulse before folding her legs and finding a flatter place to sit. A close of her eyes, a zone of consciousness reaching out into the caverns. A mental rippling of a waterfall fills her scape of the mind. Finding a center, an expression of serenity begins to claim her face.

  13. Charge CD [2/3], Vanish CD [2/3]

    "It does seem to be a simple kill. Our numbers are something It wasn't designed to handle." Kasumi rebukes, ripping her right foot up and her heel engulfs in purple light. A sudden downward sweep sees it dig in deep. Ugzeke was on his last set of legs, which was ironic given his current posture. It didn't matter if he was angry, or buried. The damn thing had less than a few moments to live, and despite dwindling energy pools. A remove of her heel in a slide, revealing a concave break where it had struck, despite the meaty frame it had come in contact with. A bubbling and winded red vegetable in the hole, matched with a girl who no longer saw the need to remain in concealment. This was over, opposition dwindled. She'd steal a breather and wait for the hammer to fall. Exchanging a lording position with Freya, to finish the job.

  14. 199920, 17+6=23, Stealth Maintained, Charge CD [1/3], Vanish [1/3]

    "As before." The girl reciprocates the loosening of her bounds, and as her captain dives right into the thick of it, she ceases to be. An earth-shattering bang fills the dimly lit cavern, leaving a steaming pile of ugly in a concave imprint on the floor. "Argh, YOU!? AGAIN? WHY?" The creature objects to the whisper's frequent visits, smearing him across the stonework on numerous occasion. It starts to lift a weapon in rebuttal, before it seizes. Something hurt, a lot...

    Retracting a slender peach covered hand with a spray of color, the girl had slipped her hand right between the soft spot in his spine. Ugzeke attempts to twist, but his legs give out, crumbling as he struggled to keep himself together. One half of his face becomes limp, a long strand of drool finding its way out of the massive lips. As his vision blurs, struggling to keep his eyes open, all he could see was his reaper, and a slight smattering of purple petals.

  15. In a conglomerate of her allies, all matched with their own set of skills looking into the face of an opponent they'd been facing for quite some time. She recalled the little show and tell with Raidou and Freyd, and virtually dealing with some of their forces. They needed to be stopped, and this was the head commanding the limbs they've been battering for so long. A single ruthless shatter of armor, her hair seeming to stop as she connects and the g force not catching up just yet. It was as if time had stopped, her hands moving before she could even process. Pure instinct. The blow riddles back, causing ripples to reverberate out from the point at which she struck, like a droplet in water. Sound returns, as she spins and slams an extended slender leg across the right side seeing more of that sickly armor explode. She'd sheer every inch of it off. "Freya, here!" The girl barks out before dislodging, using the massive carcass as a leaping point. Like snow in a breeze, she becomes intangible and leaves behind a subtle falling pile of petals.

  16. One, two, three steps in a rhythmic tapping before she lunges through the opening and disappears to a cascade of lilac. Seconds later, as a foot finds the woman's chest owned by Freya, the pure tide appears. Her hand cocked back beneath her right shoulder. The fist unfolds into a dagger like firmness as her feet slide apart. "Sleep well." she comments with a bite of her cheek and an almost grim look on her brow. Kasumi's hand becomes engulfed with a deep purplish blue light, and as she drives it forward, a blood-curdling snap. That bladed fist connects with the side of her exposed throat, and it bends inward and twists in a shape it clearly shouldn't. Pupils become limp and glassed. "Rapid Death to those who have mistreated me." she remarks under her breath, a decree repeated by the method at which she was taught. The obvious intention of lethality became immediately apparent, and the girl reflected a mix of sorrow and acknowledgement as she looked at her cousin.

  17. "Oh... I guess that makes sense, focusing on the here and now." Kasumi twiddles her thumbs, as most of what Koga outlined she had a guild to provide. It must have been tough to do all that on ones own. "That's a lot to have to deal with." Her gaze struggles to take his, red like salmon meat. "Me? I uh. Kinda wanna go back to school, my grades have probably plummeted. I would like to hang out with my cousin, breath in the fresh air I know is real. Have lunch that isn't perfect... My garden is probably dead now, isn't it?" All those little things that made up ones day were completely torn away, left abandoned due to a single misstep. "I'd like to meet with anyone I've met in here, have them show me who they really are. Without some perfect version of themselves forced in between their true selves. It is the flaws that make us real." Then it clicked.

    Did I just invite him on a date, again!? What is wrong with me?

  18. A varied light show and a gust of wind, just a parade of different methods working in tandem. Freyd beckons, and with that notion a glimmer in violet and a handful of petals get sucked into that current and fill the chamber with graceful descent. A pair of feet jerk outward from being pressed to her chest as she lands, driving the one lingering ape into the floor from flight. It slams hard enough to crack the stone, and the sound of something else breaking with it is heard. Still, and not breathing. Kasumi lands after a somersault and a slide, her feet struggling to find immediate traction from the momentum. "Down." the almost cold response to her commander, it was robotic like a well oiled machine doing whatever task it was told to perform. Long dead was the girl's outward show of pacifism, choosing to release those emotions from bogging her down.

  21. A trickling parade of tapping from objects like sandals at the bottom of her heels. "Wind?" Kasumi remarks curiously, the last time she'd undertaken this quest there was no instant of wind riding. Last time they were just rummaging through cabinets and junk. A pluck of a single floating pink petal sees her attire shift from its normal white to that of black with red trim. It is as if her demeanor shifts, going from a soft and gentle one to something hard and rigid. "Then, we'll ride whatever winds it is. What kind of forces do we expect to encounter?" her inquiry searches both her cousin and her own captain. This was likely to be a no holds barred kind of exchange given the inclusion of them, recalling immediately Lun'rael and her forces, which was quite the scuffle. Pulling a pair of hand wraps around her palms tighter, and digging that decree into her skin. She'd be ready for whatever they would be kickin' the crap out of today.

  22. The soft patter of her heels moving into the mainstay of Delilah, having just finished a few lingering duties that needed to be done. A sudden notification sees the girl pause, and her steps come to a halt. "Another quest, I wonder which one." she responds to the menu as if it could pay her some sort of answer. On her wrist, a small silver band pokes out of the wrap that usually held beneath a cloth hand guard. Kasumi taps it with her index finger, triggering the non combat transport item. Leaning into it, as some inscription on it begins to glow. "Floor 22, Forest of Memory." a smattering of flowers as in her typical fashion, a flash of pink light sees her simply cease to exist. The forest, empty and bits of sunlight poking through the canopy. A twist of her feet before she lunges for a nearby tree, after all she moved faster while airborne.

  23. "Did you forget something?" Kasumi quips, struggling to keep that sentence together. It could have been that she had taken him away from something important with all of her nonsense. The girl hoped not, but it could have been the case. Fiddling with her hands a bit, just the sense of an almost uncomfortable silence between them. The blossom was completely at a loss of what to do or say, frazzled by the situation. Despite it, she was slightly happy, all things considered. Hands, fingertips sliding together and apart, and she was fixated on the action. A sudden realization causes her eyes to widen a bit. An epiphany: "What do you want to do when you get out of here?" That's right, just keep talking, maybe it won't be so dang weird.

    The girl's attention shifts to Koga, which springs a whole new sense of butterflies worming their way around in her stomach.

  24. "But we're only friends, though." Kasumi tries to correct Eruda, not sure how to put it into words. "He, uh, saved me from a lich and then we kind of had a lunch date after." Here she was gossiping about him but didn't even know how he felt. "It was to pay him back, and it went terribly." Ain't that the truth, the girl couldn't keep her mind from racing around and getting her in all sorts of trouble. "So we ended up eating in, and talking about ourselves for a while. Nothing weird happened, but..." she was notably flustered, just like Eruda was not but seconds ago. The glasses empty, and Kasumi uses this as an opportunity to wave down the waitress. "Two more please, I think we still have a lot to discuss?" as she sighs a soft release and hoped for a change of topic. The blossom didn't want to be a gossip or get Eruda's hopes up for something that may never happen.

  25. Kasumi listens attentively, her expression shifting and becoming more placid as the recollection continues. The girl was just lost in the recount from her dear friend. "Uh, lemme think." She tapped a finger against her forehead. "Oh right, I saw him one time." A smile returns, remembering that it was him and his mother changing how the kid saw the dojo. Eventually that sharing ends, and Kasumi peels another pull from the straw bottoming out the remainder of her shake.  The glass rattles as she releases and wiggles the straw with her fingertips. "Who me!?" The reaction is rather abrupt, as she shakes her head and uses her hands to wave dismissively. Immediately, the girl turns bright red to match her lunchtime companion. Her eyes then advert down to the table, as a face slides into her mind's eye. The pressure in her face felt like it could pop a damn blood vessel.
