  2. Sliding down the trunk of a large cherry blossom tree with ease, her feet tap into a patch of grass with a soft rustle. A gentle breeze carries with it a fragrance from the same structures, grown and sat in. It had a way of lingering with her own self induced perfumes and keeping them strong. It was before her typical routine of mapping some of the floors out, but Kasumi was sure that along with the others they could make a short work of whatever Eruda had on her mind. Sliding off of her wrists were thin strands of fabric, to which she slides them and it is revealed a row of scripture in kanji down its length. The decree begins to wind around splayed open fingers, binding the words to her skin. Once anchored, her gaze advances toward the forest of memories. Kneeling low and a lunge at quite a speed sees her disappear in a flash of pink light.

  3. Sliding her feet around the creature as she appears next to Sam, mirroring the slight silver light of Sam with the pink of her own. A bit confused when Sam had picked up the same little trick, it was a welcome sight. The cleave sees through the lot, The blossom almost skipping forward as the weapon headed her direction. A wind of her hand sees a solid crash against the creatures breastplate, cutting her skin but with it. It shatters into fragments, revealing a bare but massive barrel of a chest. "It's open." Kasumi yells, as the boss raises a fist to back hand her. Its aggression sees no purchase, as it slides past her face and she ceases to exist. A glimmer of that soft rose light, and where she vanished a spray of tiny petals. No connection, she was still solid and unfazed. A success, and the boss was damn near dead.

  4. Stepping up onto the pad she offers the location name and floor, causing it to trigger and engulfed in bluish light. There was still a bit more for her to begin to accept, but once her hand wraps were on she was starting to seem almost different entirely. Landing within floor 9's fires, that same burning ball of smoke lingering above. Her mind races to guardian's with Setsuna, and sense they've been sparring. It was grueling and unforgiving, the girl was almost impossible to keep up with. But in the end, Kasumi always ended up outpacing her. It surprised the yin on the regular just how effective Kasumi could be, giving her run as an adequate rival and pushing them both to the brink. The hunts that came after, well those were much more surgical as well. Kasumi was changing. A glance to Sam with a final tug locking that ribbon against her fist. "Whats the job today?" Kasumi asked with a signature bloom, with an essence of urgency.

  5. "Agreed" Kasumi says to Eruda as Shiina almost immediately disappears, rushing off to that next shot of adrenaline. "We did well, there were no issues." As Setsuna walks past them both, that smile persists and there was a twist of her body. "Thank you Setsuna." Kasumi murmured, she knew full well what it was the girl had done. The boss was charging them down in that last instant, while both were stuck in skill stasis. It would have a lot worse if Setsuna didn't end it while they were trapped. A step toward her and an offer of a hand toward the yin, her opposite in everything except but the single shared method. A gesture of good will as the girl was finally understanding her tutelage enough to see that Setsuna, in her serious albeit brash mentality and approach. No matter how much she didn't like it, the direct shove right into lethality on all fronts. Like slaying baby hornets, that Setsuna...

  6. Next to Eruda Kasumi appears, folding her right arm around one's neck and a solid jerk up sees it broken. The thing falls, as the blossom pirroettes around the blonde tank's shield bash destroys a lunging culprit. Her heel drags across and slams it across the jaw, causing it to twist with a crunch. Eruda readjusts and takes a step forward, as Kasumi slips beneath her and shoves a bladed set of fingertips through the flanking one's skull. Like a beautiful waltz between the two girls, the two dance their opponents to oblivion in a spray of flames and petals. A soft exhale as they stop, a shared smile broken by a large howl in the distance. The boss had spawned, and was filled with ire to his fallen kin. A glance to the blonde tank as they would make a move against it, catching only a glimmer of cyan. Setsuna had already started the hunt.

  7. ID# 186328 results: Craft: 3 [-10 HP]

    A shift of her entire outward aura, as she tore through the cavern of fire. The heat trickled some damage through, as canine creatures of ash rose from the magma littered about. A single fist obliterates the first, to a pink flash and a shower of petals. It forces her position above another, as she twirls dropping another overhead axe kick through the next. It drives it hard into the rock below, causing it to detonate. She continues to disappear and slam into the next with fist and foot, the battlefield all but clear in an instant. A twist of her body as more rose from the liquid stone like graves, A jump toward her causes her to vanish. An after image, goading it toward a freshly drawn katana in a cyan blue flash. The set up and opening created, Kasumi was chaining with Setsuna to a rather weird synchronization that did not match their opposed personalities.

  8. A mid afternoon sun played upon floor 22, Kasumi still sitting in the trees on the plateau. The soft pink petals drift on the wind, and with it carries her hair off to one side. A moment of relaxation for the day's affairs had been finished. A prompt alerts her vision, and with a glance over she moves to open it to read its contents. From Sam, no less, who was interested in some quest on another floor. Should be rather simple to handle despite where it was located. Freyd's training had been paying off, and little by little it was becoming easier for her to do what she had to. She winces a bit at the recollection of all the strange things he had put her through to temper her spirit against it. There were so many strange little things, feigned poisoning of a puppy among them. But every time it wasn't quite what it appeared to be, the motive wasn't to be cruel but to get her to understand.

  9. The next to rouse, it was a bit difficult to come to an alert state. Kasumi wasn't quite as frugal in her rest, needing a fair 6 to 8 to be fully aware. The night spent out on this super heated floor hadn't made it any easier either, and it was the bitter chill of Setsuna moving that had woken her up. Sliding up in her given bed roll, she eyes Eruda sheepishly reaching for her handwraps and beginning to wind them around her hands tightly. "Is it morning?" She grumbles out softly, glancing to the sky for some indicator under all that ash. It was impossible to tell. Slinking to her feet with a slight wobble, she tends to the bedroll. A push of her hands sees it rolled up and added to her inventory. A heavy yawn and a rub of her eyes with her wrist. It was time to get this finished.

  10. Concentration CD [1/3], Hyperactive Duration [1/3]

    A sudden flash of pink shows Kasumi in the thick of it, at Simmone's behest and reaffirmation of her available stamina pool. A chain of punches and kicks sees the group being beat to pieces, in an impressive display of sliding between attempts at raking her skin. Three detonate as they are knocked from the pack with her attack, and the final rushes her down. A slice of its claws toward the girls back seems to almost connect. Before it does, Kasumi simply vanishes in that same pulse of pink.

    A skip of time as she appears a few feet where she was, an image left behind that had drawn them all close together. A method that worked to bunch them all up for the next to take a swipe at them. A glance to Freya, who was already breaking up that distance with her weapon becoming fueled with her own light. If this gambit would work still remained to be seen, but this is what it meant to be a team. Kasumi was starting to become more affirmed by this motive, showing full well how efficient they were together.

    The distance created by her own retreat gives her the moment to prepare again, as she slinks back and uses Eruda for but a moment. Rushing behind the girls back and causing a flash of light the same, Kasumi disappears back into her opaque camouflage. There was to be another opportunity, and her skill set made for an excellent opener and break of a line of teeth and claws. This is where she shined, being able to bob and weave through attacks made against her and create a hole for another player to exploit. That was her reason for being paired with Setsuna.

  11. As the sit rep is provided by the blonde acting tank, Kasumi listens intently. Once the break ensues the girl disappears with a glimmer of pink light, a faint fragrance of cherry blossom on the wind. Past the narrow walks and large but slightly crumbling cooled gray stone, forming small piles near cracks. She raises high and scans a small army of feral looking beasts in white sickly almost drowned looking skin, chattering and scraping away at the floor below them. A slink into position slowly, before a violent discharge of pink claims her heels. Like a missile she fires away, her legs carrying her straight into the boss. Like confetti it sprays in all directions, the Banshee felled immediately with no rebuttal. The girl slides her feet and draws her hands in front of her face.

    The creatures correct and begin to rake at her frame, as she slides between the incoming blows with ease. The guardian's howl and scream scattering like rabid animals, wanting blood and were amplified by the loss of the thing they were supposed to be guarding. A pirouette as one leaps toward her, clambering to the stonework beneath as the girl flutters.     Landing next with a wash of blue the stretch falls, and she clatters down a bit worse for wear. Her eyes scan the town in its darkened halls, elves everywhere in dark grayish skin, which made plucking Eruda out of the pack easily. The girl was nodding off a bit and her familiar moves to meet Kasumi, who immediately kneels down and offers scratches below its snout. "It's late." She would mutter as she took to the rim of the fountain the blonde was perched upon. Taking a seat beside her with a smile, she'd circle her ear with her fingers.

    It pushes her orange hair out of the way and behind her shoulder. "How have things been Eruda, looks like you're staying busy." The blossom takes at people watching as she nudges the girl awake with her words. Who knew how long she'd been at this, how many quests had she taken on today alone? The girl seemed utterly driven to greatness, and though Kasumi respected it, she could tell that the blonde needed a break from the cutthroat rush to the top. A strange howl in the distance burdens the cavern, something was stirring out there. Perhaps what Eruda sought? But there was more to life than just this, and Eruda may have well been yet to see it.

  13. A waning day paints the place in orange, a tinge of a whole 13 hours of exhaustion held to the girl's back with a yawn. She was making through the motions with a soft walk through the very floor, she dwelled on in her down time, a simple hamlet with a village like feel. That same notification peels her back to alert, and wiping her eyes and trying her best to swallow her fatigue. A message from Eruda, to meet others on floor 10. A faint memory of Val Halla was the first to surface, and the girl silently hoped that wasn't the context.

    To her surprise and prayers, it wasn't, but banshee. A thought as her eyes dart up to her right, tapping a left hand to her chin. She'd read about it and was having a bit of difficulty recalling the synopsis she had received. A couple steps around the central fountain and paying but one more stretch, she activates the warp pad.

  14. A flash of light in her palm as she combines a few petals together, using her artisan skill to forge a rather quick vanity trinket. A smile on her face as she offers it to a small blonde child, an NPC next to her mother. They both share in that grin as the child seems to explode with her own so large it threatened to escape her face. "Thanks miss!" she extrudes as she reaches out with both hands and takes it, bringing it near her face to get a closer look. A pop up catches Kasumi off guard, but as always the guild was lively and motivated. The whole thing seemed to buzz on the daily with every kind of job imaginable, and Kasumi had already handled her early morning routine. She could jump to help Sam out.

    Kasumi peels out the lengths of ribbon and begins to spin them on each hand, quickly swapping from just a girl to something far more terrifying. The crashing wave. Adding a response toward Sam as she ushered through the settlement of Delilah toward the gate past NPC to which she offers a gentle wave of the hand in hello's. They were beginning to recognize her as a member of their little society.

  15. In the fields of crossing taking in the sights, the lush green beneath her feet, making a soft crunch with each footfall. The brightly lit sun made the place come alive, and on the wind were a few dormant petals that dance through the air in curves. That very same current holds the girls' hair aloft in strands, she takes a hand and corrects what jumps behind her ear with a smile. A ding makes her pause. "Oh a message." She quips in earnest, looking to and tapping the flashing blue dot with an envelope painted on it. It opens and reveals not only the goal but the culprit.

    A soft nod from Kasumi, as she takes to a sprint through the flowers. Near the settlement she hops up and over the wall and a clatter of her feet finds purchase to the light tan stone path. Another tiny hop finds her slowed on the warp gate, and a mutter of a phrase forces it to activate. The whole place is washed blue in a flare, and she's immediately greeted by the smell of sulfur and a dull orange glow. The heat comes next and begins to cling to the back of her neck.

  16. Zero Degree Weather Activated: -2 Evasion to Players

    As if on queue to Haine's decree to head along, the very mountain at which they all stood seemed to quiver. Kasumi looks to the others before vanishing in a brief flash of pink, darting in to get the preemptive strike. A single rattling fist followed by a spin of her hips. The crashing wave drives her heel into its left shoulder, a shuttering hairline of breakage that flows through its massive frame before a few pieces begin to fall off like flakes the size of almost cars. This thing was terrifying but she had fought it before, and like before it was with Raidou. She disconnects as the massive slab of ice forming a titan with glowing red eyes as it reaches for her, sliding down the length of its arm like a ramp before she tumbles through the air. A flapping of her clothes as she lands in the snow, peeling out for a moment before she corrects her footing with finesse. The girl was rather deft.

    An adjust of her uniform with a grimace, a twist of her hand wraps for a moment as she tightened it around her hand. Kasumi looks to Sam and offers an accepting nod, the girl had moved on her opening well and as a result the fight ended so abruptly that the boss was allowed no counter. Keeping up with Griswold as he proved almost a shield against the winds, like an umbrella in the rain. Into the settlement as the harsh winds continued to swell just outside, holding aloft the red flags that could barely be seen through the murky clouds. Kasumi's thoughts jump to Sam's engagement ring, a tiny smile on her face as she attempts to look away from the girl. She was already surely racked with jitters and Kasumi wasn't about to add any more fuel to bundled nerves. The first onto the gate and a yelp away, she exits the group to move on to greener pastures.

    A smile on her face, as she opens her inventory and passes the ring to Sam within a small box of velvet. It was a pleasant distraction from the burning sands around them, all but forgetting its presence as the other two in the group lead them where they intended to go. As soon as the exchange is made, Kasumi and the others trail into the arena. The girl is instantly on guard once it becomes known where they stood. "A large alligator, he'll spring from the sand." She offered a quick synopsis and coiled her arms toward her face, they glow bright pink. The warning dropped and as the butcher would raise she'd make the first preemptive strike. Rocketing toward the scaled boss, a clawed hand barely piercing the sands and rising before Kasumi riddles his frame with two powerful jabs. A twirl and an spun heel across a row of teeth snaps a few off, tossing it to the soil in an aggressive crash.

  19. Scampering across the fields of crossing, a trail of flower petals, follow behind her as she breaks through the multiple hues. They follow her advance, a rainbow of color caught on the wind. She makes one bound after coming to a slow and a slide. Into the tree next to the wall, she rounds it like a gymnast before springing with both arms outstretched. Anchoring her fingers across the top of the outer perimeter of Delilah she clears it, to a slight slanted house's rooftop in light tan tiles. Across the incline and down the other side, turning her frame and allowing the blade of her left foot to hold her speed down. A jump once she reaches the edge to the next in tandem, two vaults more find her to the floor. A couple of those that look on are surprised at her sudden inclusion, seeming out of nowhere. She pays them a smile, finishing the last of a slice of toast and speaking through a garbled speech. To floor 5.

  21. A message beckons the girl awake, sliding out from her covers and a wipe of her dreary eyes. Squinting at the light source as it becomes larger, Kasumi reads the contents and chuckles a bit. It was almost English and she couldn't chastise Griswold for trying. But the guy typed like she'd expect an older adult to. Slinking her ankles out of bed, her exposed toes slapping against the wooden floor of her home. The girl sends a reply to Griswold with a yawn, before sliding out of bed and fixing the covers on its top. Fumbling around a bit as her hands still greeted the morning, Kasumi begins to adorn her equipment. Shoving a single slice of cooked toast into her mouth, she exits into the early light of the day in the field of crossing destined for floor 5, the sands and the heat that would snap her to attention real quick.

  22. The shop was easily open, and although nervous and worried she stunk the entire way through, Kasumi enjoyed herself. Koga could really put it away, costing the girl an easy 1000 col of tiny little objects that were only 5 a unit. Throughout the exchange, Kasumi enjoyed her simple strawberry tarts topped with whip cream. The wolf devoured every different kind of stuffed breads imaginable, mainly the ones filled with pork/steak and the like. Joanna grimaced as she stared out the tiny portal that was her stand's square window, almost amazed and horrified as the guy put them away.

    With silence and a smile, Kasumi wondered why Alkor chose to stay behind. She hoped that one day he'd allow her to bring him out as well. After all the pair had saved her bacon with an easily avoidable mistake. All she had to do was what she was told she was supposed to. But killing them was so difficult for the girl, and in her efforts to simply slip past them a single falling femur left her attacked first.

  23. An inhale as the tensions had since faded. "Ok, another time then." Kasumi looked to Alkor with a soft smile, he may have some prior engagement and he'd already done enough. "Raincheck then." Her attentions shift to Koga "I know this little bakery on floor 2, they make quite a few little stuffed breads. Uh, what was it called..." She pauses for a moment, tapping a folded fist against her forehead as she thought. "Joanna's I think. It's just like her name." A tapping patter of her feet as she walked precariously over the rattling bones. It was a bit odd, but such was life in Aincrad: Fighting undead monsters and then eating steamed buns not but an hour later.

    Rimming the chambers entering threshold, the rounded rooms one exit. She stared down the long and almost horrifying corridor with a grin that seemed out of place given the location. But she wasn't quite scared of anything on the floor, being here was almost second nature by this point. A glance back to Alkor "Don't forget. You coming Koga?" She beckoned him as she started down into the darkened hallway, a goal for the Underdark and into greener pastures.

  24. Joining the group as she tightens the white wraps around her palms, looking to Haine and Simmone before taking note of Raidou. This was going to be a hell of a ride, Haine was no slouch and neither was Raidou. This was going to be an extremely quick fight with both of them. "I haven't, but I've read up on it." She glances to Raidou, it was his notes that she was glancing through. A huge creature, aoe attacks and freeze effects. She was prepared for whatever it might do to her.

    She looks down to Haine's polar bear, offering Mishka a soft rub. The girl was already struggling with its cuteness, but she clears her throat sharply, trying to maintain a professional vibe. "I'll be ready." as she kept tow behind Raidou and Haine, ready to enter stealth when combat would begin. The cold makes her shutter a bit, mainly on her exposed thighs, which were a bit numb. She needed to invest in something to cover her butt.

  25. A soft sigh of relief as her hand was gripped tightly in Koga's but for a moment. "Koga and Alkor then." releasing the guys hand. "Yep a guild. A lot of work, spread really thin." She pushed an extended index into her chin. "This doesn't happen too much, just this guy wasn't supposed to be alive yet." The blossom eyeballed the pile, as it proved that even an estimation could be wrong. Her gaze advances to her bar, noticing the big drop it had made. It was a little disheartening, knowing that she'd done goof. It meant that she still had more to learn, if she'd just killed the enemies instead of trying to avoid them.

    "So you guys were doing this too?" Fiddling with her hair, pushing it behind her shoulders. A pile of bones nearby shutter, and the weird tension in the room followed behind the tiny crack it made. "Now that, this is handled." She did her best to break that newly formed ice. "How about lunch my treat? It's the least I can do after you guys popped in and uh. You know." and doing her best impression of Alkor which totally sucked, with a beaming bubbly smile.
