  1. Eyeing closely through her looking glass, a large lens on a brass arm affixed to her station. "There we go!" She exhumes, using a fine pair of needle nose to drop the greenish gemstone into the socket and bend it inwards. A prompt unexpectantly startles her in her intense focus. "Scared the jeez out of me." Kasumi remarks waving a hand toward her face, sliding the little flashing envelope open to read what it said. "Oh Haine, ok." A twist of that little arm above and backward, setting that ring in a vice to continue later. She quickly taps out a message in a reply to Haine with a smile. The scamper of her feet across the slightly uneven floor causes it to creek, as she rushes around and collects her battle clothes.

    A rip of her door open, the sound of a rattling bell affixed to the shops entryway. She's immediately blinded by the difference in lighting. She eyes toward Delilah and makes a powerful leap, right into the trees. What it was with Firm Anima girls and not using their feet to run was beyond me. But she finds the gate, calls out Floor 4's settlement and arrives. The girl was quick, and just a little chilly.

  2. A wedding ring finally finished and cut to size. Sam would be ecstatic once she found out it was done after all this time. With a smile Kasumi presses the loop through a tiny hunk of red velvet, sliding to one side the magnifier that she was using to see closer. "Looking pretty good, It might even be my best work." she comments with a bit of giddy glee, removing her apron from around her waist. A tug of the orange ribbon that held her hair up causes it to pour down around her shoulders. "Do I have any other pending orders?" She moved to the document on the countertop, drawing a final line through the toughest one. "Oh right." she exclaims with a tap of a balled up fist on her left flat. As she sets back another object, for an order placed at the odyssey via the same black haired girl. The grinding of a wheel as she began to shape the small stone to fit the setting.

  3. "Thank you." Kasumi immediately shifted and dropped the skull, now lifeless in her hands. The newly formed skeletal constructs fall to pieces, their respective master destroyed and left them with no power. A pat of her legs kicks off some remaining dust that had found itself clung to her. "I am a scout, I kinda got seen." She murmurs apologetically as she claps her hands together and bows. "I have a teleport crystal, I was just waiting for a moment to use it. Normally I can get by through remaining scarce." She unfolds and moves her hair out of the way. "I'm sorry I dragged you both into this." She opens her HUD and amends something on the corner of her screen from a solid 26 to 25 minutes. Turns out the bosses spawn was misrecorded, and this small change would save a lot of weaker people from some trouble.

    "Really?" Kasumi shifts to look squarely at Koga, unable to understand Alkor's jest and assumes it genuine. "I'm Kasumi." she extends a peach colored hand that stunk of a floral fragrance.

  4. A single bloody raking as the bones fly like shrapnel through the girl, knowing full well its aggressor. Drawing a multitude of tiny red lacerations across her body as it tears through. An soft sweep as she places the fear away, remaining calm. A trail of energy in a lines in circles, she steels herself against the damage. A littering of these sections of ivory as Kasumi reaches out on impulse, ripping the skull out of the air as it storms past. A solid crunch in her hand like poet, the skull begins to crack. The formed body of armor shutters and attempts toward her, as she held its very phylactery in her hand. Each tightening of her grip causes hairline fractures to appear, as she held its heart in its hand and as a result the beasts HP plummets.

    The strength in her fingers weaken, but are forced solid. The boss itself began to rush her down, a chain of rattling bones as the very room begins to swell with bones. It was attempting to regrow its army against them and save itself from the players who now it by the throat.

  5. A glance to the new players to join the fray, as the grinding of locked steel permeates the place. The king himself turns away from the girl in just a brief moment, to see his new assailants. An opportunity rose and with a flash of pink, a soft fragrance and a scatter of cherry blossom petals she is gone. What follows soon after, through his armor a yeet of bones from its ribcage like confetti as she drives a dagger like hand clean through. It scatters to pieces, the bones rolling together and trying to rebuild it. "Not at all." She offers a bubbly smile with a flick of her wrist, the light of a sword art fizzling away.

    A harsh bellow fills the chamber of bone, the ground manifesting more manpower to move against the newly formed group. Piecing themselves together like a puzzle, dropping a final skull upon an exposed spine before it open's and hisses. The sockets become enraged in cold blue fire, life given to the king dropped. He wanted them out of his chamber, but not before exacting the payment of their life first. Kasumi shifts, runs a cupped hand to peel her hair out of her ear before vaulting closer to the pack that stood with her. "I'm fine, but I think I need a shower." Wearing white and punching the daylights out of filthy bone monsters did not mix well.

  6. A soft exhale and a whir of steel, spray of flowers left to fall easily. A sound of an exchange to those that would hear it, as the multiple flashes of the conflict continue to fill the chamber. Kasumi was doing as she was asked, and caught off guard once the boss had reformed a bit too early. The Lich swings toward her, before her form vanishes and rakes the back of its neck with a powerful blow. She was fighting to put it down, but a staggering collection of monsters at her back continued to bring it back. It howls and rips its weapon around toward the girl, a spray of bone at the far side of the chamber she was long past where it expected her to be. The crunching of bone beneath their very feet as each connection causes the pieces to fly in all directions like water out of a hose.

  8. "Sprinkles?" Kasumi asked her, it seemed almost fitting for someone so havoc inducing to name the thing something so trivial like that. "Thank you Shiina, it was a name I found in a book." Peeling free another segment of fruit and passing it to the greedy munching of the tiny weasel, who happily rips it out of her extended fingers. "They kind of are like magic aren't they?" Kasumi looked down to Ouroboros. It was true that they held some special effects on their owners, and were a welcome blessing. A glance back to the songstress "Maybe try a softer voice, try to see what he's feeling? It seemed to do the trick for me." But the beast still held some mystery, and that little flicker of energy it had given off was still unknown. Just like Shiina she had yet to discover what hers did as well. They both had work left to do.

  9. A hop down from her perch landing next to Shiina and a twist down a bit. "So this is your familiar?" Kasumi asks in confirmation to what she already knew, assuming my weasel meant it was her pet. "I am doing the same thing." Her eyes dart up and behind in a waving swerve was Ouroboros. "This is mine, his name is Ouroboros." Holding her hands in front of her it spins and floats above her outstretched palms. "What's his name? He looks hungry." Kasumi slides to her side producing some of the very fruit she'd offered her own pet, and aggressively the weasel rips it out of her hand causing a spray of strawberry guts in all directions. A smile despite the frenzy the thing was giving off, it was indeed hungry. This was the first thing with any real vitamin in it in a long time. Such what it meant to be Shiina's familiar.

  10. It seems to enjoy the name, and Kasumi couldn't be happier to provide it to the tiny fluttering black snake. A glance down she notices Shiina, curious at when the girl had arrived. A look back to Ouroboros and a question asked "Should we see what she's doing out here?" It nods loosely. Her eyes shift back down and take note of Sprinkles, a tiny red weasel at the base of the tree. It looked furious and a bit diseased. "Poor thing." Kasumi exclaimed, but it was hardly native to this floor. Was it Shiina's familiar? Now that she thought about it, it was very possible as she'd never seen another one with the girl. She was reticent to drop down, wanting to see what it was that the girl was doing. Kasumi was barely able to make out more then a few words of what was spoken by the tiny tyrant.

  11. A twist of her face grimacing when Freya spoke the word dead. Kasumi still was not totally comfortable with the thought, but she was coming to terms with it. As Gaius and Freya leave, a strange relationship now known between them with how they were acting. A single thought pops into her head. "Eruda, how are things going with Raidou?" She asks the blonde, trying to distract herself with something happier. Kasumi knew that Eruda had been vying for attention from her cousin, unsure exactly how it would fair. He wasn't exactly the easiest to understand, even for her. Eager to hear how it played out, Kasumi moves closer to the blond using some of the shade cast by the ring of stone around them for cover. The heat was starting to get to her a bit. A place of her back against it she leans and exhales softly to prepare herself for the journey back to floor 5's settlement. The quest was over.

  12. A glimmer in pink through the tide, a slight spray of cherry blossoms as she appears. Sliding against Freya's back as the arc of her scythe carries her, the crashing wave uses the blonde for support. Rolling with her Kasumi connects an extended right foot using the flat in a high pitched whir, the boss reels and spins from the twinned blows. Dragging the blow through the blossom vanishes in a blink as he swipes. Using both heels from above she drives him into the ground by its skull as if she was running, using every ounce of power her frame could muster. Standing upon its face, a look down she remarks toward it. "I'm sorry." as she looks at the blonde, the neck of the creature lay upon the edge of her scythe. Freya obliges as Kasumi pulls away in a flash of pink, and with one sharp pull, the head rolls across the sand before popping.

    Dominus: When he reaches 175 hp, he grows massive in size upping his damage to 150 and mitigation to 30 for the rest of the fight.

  13. A subtle shake and a look to Eruda and then back to Freya shows the resemblance. Twins. Then that would mean that the twins Griswold mentioned were his daughters. This was a new development. Grabbing that last bit of hand wrap and peeling it around her palm tightly, Kasumi ushers behind Freya "Right." A single bound and some rapid steps catch up the rear, the girl was no slowpoke. The desert heat began to grow, becoming much less deniable as she could almost feel it through the soles of her shoes. The whole place felt hot and sticky, like an oven. "Butcher of the Sands..." She remarks trying to recall what it was she had read from the guildhall table, when Gaius speaks to what it was supposed to be. "Oh, a gator?" She asks as the information begins to flood in. "He ignores all defense but doesn't have a ton himself. He targets at random and is hidden in a..." A pause of her words as they arrived. "That..."

  14. A sudden flash brings her in last, the final of the three to join the dragoon on his endeavor. "I'm here." Kasumi remarks making a quick hop from the gate using a slowing step to bring herself to a stop. "What are we doing?" She asks as Gaius sends her an invite and a quest share. "Butcher of the sands?" She reads its description, notably remembering it to be rather easy to complete. They were leagues past this being difficult, but that wouldn't cause her to lower her defense. It was for the best. Peeling a white tether around her palm tightly, she pays Gaius a nod. "Let's get this started." She remarks with a slight sigh, the heat was a bit much but not too hard to handle. With this group they should tear it apart, it was optimized for a lower-level party, and Kasumi had kept tabs on how most of them were progressing. Freya is the only one she knew nothing about. "Hi, I'm Kasumi." She exclaims offering the girl a hand for a shake a slight dangling strand of hand wraps still present.

  15. A sudden notification peels across her HUD, another message from Gaius. A recollection of the fight with Freyd and Raidou, just but a few leagues from the cathedral of the forgotten. Placing down the still being constructed wedding ring that was rounding completion.  The blossom glances to her hand, still remembering what blood was on its surface. "I have to be ok with this." Kasumi remarks to the empty chamber, ushering about the place to collect up her gear and get changed. A quick and hasted response to Gaius to confirm her coming she breaks loose of the building. A ringing bell at her back as she breaches the threshold and makes a single bound into one of the many trees that held up floor 2, a spray of one of the many patches of flowers as she does.   16. She faintly recalled some of Raidou's literature, one describing alchemy with a picture on the front of it. "Ouroboros." Kasumi remarks causing the thing to twist. "That's what you remind me of. It was on the tip of my tongue." It slithers through the air held aloft like a kite, moving closer to the girl seeming to have a change in interests. The fruit now no longer constricted falls from the tree, like a lump of grey mush it pops as it hits the ground. The tiny serpent glows for a moment as if it accepted the bestowed name the player had given it. One more step in the right direction, meanwhile Shiina was almost punching her familiar at this point. The writer found it fitting that Kasumi's gentle approach was much more effective at teaching the thing instead of waving the thing around like a baton. Kasumi was making progress, Shiina was not.

  17. The sucking noise from the familiar continues as it feeds on the color within each piece of fruit she offers it, trying to buy its attention and temperament with these small offerings. Her mind digresses to what this thing could possibly offer her like the other pets could and did. A ring of her long hair around her ear, keeping it out of her face as she eyed it carefully for any change. The thing seemed rather uninterested in her approach, which was a small blessing. It was much better than the latter, it better complacent than fearful. Kasumi couldn't blame it given how much she towered over it for being frightened of her. "You wanna try again?" Kasumi asked of it causing it to pause and eye her for a moment, tiny beady yellow eyes on an ink-black rope. It releases the strawberry and looks up at her with a tiny face akin to the size of a needle.

  19. Concentration CD [1/3]

    Keeping toe to toe with Freyd was not easy, and the girl struggled to maintain the same rhythm. It was clear that with time she may just be able to match it, but her inability shows, connecting with a harder part of armor before Gaius slams against the top like a bullet. The pressure causes her hair to flutter about aggressively, and she is blinded from it. Not good enough she thinks with a tussle of her hand, shaking free the static that riddled throughout her arm from the failed strike. Kasumi shifts back and away, sliding her feet and charging again more of the last bit of stamina she had left. Pushing her limits and keeping up with those of much larger levels was taxing, but she'd burn the candle until it was entirely empty. To prove to herself that she deserved to be out here making a difference.

  20. Keeping tune with Gaius, being narrowly missed by a projectile Freyd she slams an emboldened heel into the point of impact forcing a chunk of the armor to break away. It's health skips a bit as the damage bleeds through the new opening, The knight reaches for her heel and grabs her by the ankle. A small jerk rips her other foot out from a fold and slides it aggressively across a helmet causing it to spin around. It releases and aims to correct its now absent vision, reaching up and latching to the bucket on its shoulders. She exploits the distraction and builds some distance, a single hop places her some 10 or so feet from the target. "Quite tough armor." She comments shaking her heel that still felt the strike, even though the force caused a vibration that lingered in her appendage. Kasumi knew that she'd need to strike where the armor was softened to get anything through, an ode to the call of twinned strikes.

    Slinking in next to Gaius who had done quite a number on the thing, she would pay it mercy. "Rest now, I will mourn you despite the necessity." A raise of a hand limp at first before a single jerk forces a snap, lethal quick, and humane. Without any lingering notions, she shifts up and peels a white ribbon around her palm tight, eying the portal with a rather determined scowl on her face. "Let them come." A look at Freyd, to the others, and to her own hand again. A quick clench causes it to burn bright "I will do as I must." Turning on her heel and taking out of sight, exploiting openings and remaining obscured until the last possible moment. Normally it was Setsuna who was the one who bought them, but now she was starting to see where they lied without her assistance. The Dragoon was an excellent distraction.

  22. Concentration Refreshed!

    "Through waves, the flames die, through but a droplet." She murmurs beneath her breath, as if directly to the command of her captain she offers no words. "As it is spoken..." Kasumi quips as her hand becomes a lantern, but no fist instead pointed fingertips. Like a scalpel, she drives her hand clean through its neck like a hot knife through butter before folding it inside and ripping clean a slightly burned hand. Her hands then take to a slight wheel and with the other a downward stroke that breaks something in its spine. It takes a step forward, shakes rather aggressively then falls. "So it shall be." An almost dark twist on the girl, she shakes the damage from her skin, and with a leap, in an instant, she's displaced again. In her wake the smell of sakura, and those same little bits of plant dancing on the wind.

    Rocketing in behind her captain, his weapon riddled with power that she could feel the vibrations to. The heat scorched and played against them both, she was playing his shadow. As it swats Freyd, it makes a mistake. An opening. "I've got it!" she remarks driving a single haymaker as deep as it could go, a satisfying break, and snap off a toughened hide as it crumbles. A spray of orange out the back, burning the soil and twisting it to glass. She retracts a blinks away, manifesting a few feet out of range. Her eyes scan to the captain who seemed more irritated than anything. With a soft twist of her hair, and a sigh of relief her eyes dart back to the opponent. A slight inkling of something stuck in her head, payback for what harm it had done? A shutter and shake of her head as she peers to Raidou who offers a nod.

    Kasumi looks to Freyd and finds a nod, a goad to keep trying, and a glance at Gaius as he begins to bark out his own brand of kindness. "Right." A high pitched whir builds in her heels, keeping pace with him as he leaps. Speed becomes the girl, as she starts to flicker in and out of visibility a simple sprint turning to bounds that appeared to the naked eye like teleporting. The Dragoon lands and upheaves the target, and a simple stop slide and shift of Kasumi spins and with a single jarring slam, the edge of her heel connects with a skull like a bat. "Good fuckin' show." Gaius barks out to nothing more than the sound of her strike, eyes peeled heavily on the other that was now segregated entirely. Folding her leg back to her rear, a glance to her captain and Raidou she pays a nod. With a glimmer of pink and a spin, the girl disappears to her opponents, leaving a handful of pink fauna in her wake.

    Feeling displaced as Freyd had no acknowledgment of her failure or the apology that followed soon after she held to silence. The girl knew that she had messed up and it was a waste of her captain's time for her to be babied by him. The blossom knew she'd have to try harder and work more toward her goals if she wished to be of ample service. Pushing down her fears and that nagging insecurity she keeps pace with the others.

    Distracted and keeping her distance, she listens intently but feelings swell and provide her no focus. As the conflict begins her head is clearly not on straight, a set up by Gaius fully and obviously missed as the vaulted enemy simply plummets. Failure begets failure when one is allowed to dwell on it, and for but a moment she contemplated another apology. "Like val halla?" A glance to her hand and a recall of the conversation she held with Griswold, Shiina, and the others. Balling her hand into a fist and peeling the cable tighter around her palm. "Again Gaius." she asked of him, and a flicker of pink petals and she was gone.
