Carrying Ko in her arms as she had fallen asleep in them. At the moment of leaving though she really wanted to come and she wasn't going to argue. Stepping through the warp gate, she could feel a shift in her cells before landing back to solid ground. Seeing Kasumi and Eruda, nice. Seeing Raserei's ears perk up, she obviously saw Ko right then. Giving Ko a small cuddly head butt, she wakes. Her attentions shift to the other animal as she wiggles out of Freya's grasp, hopping to the ground. They sniff each other right before Ko hops on her. Freya shakes her head and walks to the group. "So what is going on today," she asks as she stands next to Kasumi watching her twist her wraps on her hands. It seemed like second nature to the girl. Wondering if it came from something in her past or if it was something that she picked up in the game.

Staring into the pool of water with Setsuna, she couldn't help but worry about him though. "He may be your master, but he is a dear friend of mine. You are right though, he is not weak by any means of the word, but there are just some things that you cannot overcome by yourself..." She spoke these words softly knowing that she would have never gotten through what she was still fighting with alone. "If he needs help... He may not admit it. That alone scares the shit out of me." She was going to give Freyd sometime, but then she would go check on him. She was sure that Setsuna knew a different side of Freyd than she did and that was fine. Freya made him a promise though. She would be there for him no matter what. Taking a slow, deep breath, she starts to walk past Setsuna now. Turning her head slightly knowing that if Setsuna cared about him at all that she would be worried, even if it was just a little bit. "I will let you know if he is okay,' Freya says without looking at her. She begins to walk again, but this time it is a faster pace. She would find her friend and make sure he was okay...

Seeing Freyd walk off with hardly a word as to why, she knew that something was bothering him. A comment from Shiina as she raises her brow, "Hardly Shiina." Her friend was hurting and it was obvious. Could it be those glitches again or something new that came into the light of though. Could it be something that always bothered him, Freya just had yet to know about it. Could it be from the attacks that he brought out toward this thing that they just fought. Freya opens her HUD and sends a message to Freyd as he vanishes out of sight:

From: FreyaAre you okay, I am here if you need to talk...
A chime of her HUD, the message was sent. She became a bit worried about him. She knew that he was going through some shit and like he was for her, she would be there anytime he needed her. A glance to Setsuna, "I hope he's okay..." as she glances back to where Freyd had walked away and disappeared.

Seeing Eruda shift up to her feet, she takes a look at Simmone. "Hey there again. How are you?" Glancing down at her cup with her lips puckered out. Freya drinks what is left in her cup and finds a trash to throw it in. It was clear that the coffee had done wonders on Freya. She was perked up and seemed a bit hyper. This was going to be fun. Freya was still fighting with whatever the hell was inside of her, but whatever she was doing was keeping it at bay right now. The thing would talk to her randomly and it was very disturbing at times, but she was not going to let it affect what she was going to be assisting with today or at least that was the hopes. After this thing with Freya and after she knew that Eruda was okay for the day she was going to grab that pet that the game calls a familiar. She has never had a pet before because their mother wouldn't allow it. Now was the time to get one...

Freya chuckle at the armless snow man and glances at the snow angels. Another yawn escapes her mouth as the cold starts to hit her skin. Freya shrugs at Sam's gesture and sits on the cold ground and leans back. Making her angel now she gets up as they seemed to be all different sizes. Freya smiles and looks to her father. "It is your turn. Everyone has done it besides you." Turning to the snowman now she places a finger on her chin and looks around for a couple twigs. After some time she finds a bush with no leaves. Tearing of a few branches she takes it to the snowman. Placing them on both sides of the body piece she walks backwards and realized that one of the branches were smaller than the other. She chuckles "Perfect," as she turns to her father again. "Come on, snow angel. We have to compare..." she says with a grin now.

Freya walks to the rest of the group and Sam was trying to leave. "Aww, come on Sam, I got out of bed for this. The least you can do is hang out a bit. Live a little..." Gaius's words pop out of her mouth... What the hell. Welp... She goes to link arms with Sam as she flinches for only a moment but then relaxes. Sam looks down to Freya with a half smile and apologetic eyes. "Don't worry about it. In time you will see that I am not a threat to you or anyone else." "Fine," Sam says as Freya smiles back at her. Pulling Shiina into a half hug as they walk now. Looking to the deep humid sky she says, "Lets go to floor 4 where it is cold. I can make Icies from the snow there." She feels Shiina perk up a bit under her arm at the delicious dessert mentioned. "Strawberry, maybe blueberry, any preference guys." She yawns again. Damn... She could feel herself fading but she wanted to spend time with them. It wasn't something that she had been doing a lot of lately.

Watching Setsuna hitting the last safeguard on the creature, its fate was set. Freya pulls her Scythe back, that glow activates and the target it lit. Black oozed mist starts to pour from her frame as she starts quickly moving to the target. Its movements were erratic, almost despite to get away. It seemed to be scared. Freya moves and jumps toward a tree near it and at that moment, jumps off the tree springing herself off and toward the creature. Her Scythe carve deep against its slimy frame as it hisses out in agony. Its health bar plummets as Freya lands to the ground on her feet with a splash. Freya's gash forms bright along the serpents body, an opening made... It was going to be over sooner than they expected. Freya turns to Freyd with a smile. She knew that he had tricks up is sleeves and possible demons but what he demonstrated was just pure amazing and that was truly an understatement to say the least.

Freya gives a half smile to Setsuna as her attempt to an apologize sunk in. It needed work but Freya got the gist. A shake of her head as Freyd eggs Shiina on, practically saying she should ride the snake. Great... of course he would say that, as she goes to reach for the pastry. A glance to Shiina right before it was about to hit her buds... Shiina was already on the snake. "Great, look what you did Freyd," as she places the donut down on the tray. She looks around and up as she runs toward Shiina. She jumps into a tree where the snake curls around and grabs Shiina by the scruff of the neck. As she is drugged off the snake, Shiina tears a good chunk of its skin off the slimy beast. It cries out in pain and shifts it large face toward Freya. It strikes toward her with Shiina in her arms now. Freya jumps to the branch above as it hits the tree branch that she was perched on. Freya jumps off the branch now on to solid ground with a splash. Looking to the snake making sure it wasn't going to strike again, she glances down at Shiina, placing her down saying "I will find you something safe to ride after this, but please for now focus on your music. It helps me focus," smiling toward her hopefully allowing her to stay in a safe proximity. Freya takes her Scythe out now, eyes shifting toward the snake shaking its head rapidly as it took a tree to the face.

She follows the group to the camp and sees the Bandits draw their weapons. Freya slaps her cheeks with both hands as to get herself motivated. "Okay, let's do this," she says pulling out her Scythe. It starts glowing, smiling as Shiina as she extents an arm and her weapon flashes. Her attention shifts to the group that held the thread as she starts walking toward them. Her walk turns to a sprint as a black oozed mist starts to pour from her frame in the tracks behind her. Her sprinting turns into a run, closing the distance as she slides in-between the group of bandits slicing one right in half. Turning she clashes her weapon against a sword and shifts her weapon down straight through him. Freya pivots left as a club hits the ground next to her. Turning she slices through it's chest and the last she ducks beneath the blade, jumps back and strikes him down, each hit followed by an exploding impact. All at the same time they burst into blues shards around her. At some point she could feel her eyes start to shift but nothing came of it. Turning toward the rest of the gang, "Simple..." yawning right after she says this.

Freya sits on the fountain's edge after coming through the gate. Smiling at Shiina with her comment as she pushes her hair back out of her face with her right hand. She had not gotten much sleep since she started those back to back quests with Gaius. Maybe an hour or two before getting back to it and a few meals here and there in between. She felt now than she was moving slower than normal. She would try though. She wanted to help... She would sleep after this. She was unsure how much more she could handle, but only time would tell. She excepts the invite and share, staring at the quest for a moment. "Bandit Camp, should be easy enough," saying this followed by a yawn. She couldn't help it. "Sorry guys I've been on the move for 3 straight days," she says with a small tired chuckle.

Passion, it was what she felt when he looked into her eyes. She started to get a warm feeling within her chest. As he drops his weapon, instead of the arm she was latched to, he grabs her hand in his. Their eyes locked, she couldn't look away. It felt like the entire world had stopped for this moment alone. The storm was brewing around them, dark gray clouds fill the sky, flashes of lightning strike within them. It starts to pour down, the cold rain as they become soaked, but they never looked away. The silence between them, it was like for the very first time, someone actually saw Freya for who she was and not for what she has done. Just a bit longer, she didn't want this feeling to stop, the warmth through the cold rain. The gaze that made everything clear. Gaius was the one... The only one...

Back to back quests with Gaius, it was making her mentally exhausted. The bed in the mid afternoon seemed like the only place she wanted to be right now. She had just laid down as her HUD chimes. A small whine as she burrows her face underneath the pillow. A deep breath and then a grown of irritation as she flips to her back in bed. Opening the message, it was from Griswold, her father. A few misspells makes her smile. "FINE, fine," as a quick message sent back notifying him that she would be there. The training would not stop just because she felt exhausted. Spending time with her father might be sorta nice though. She gets out of bed as she already assumed that Gaius would be in his bed too. It was where he was when they parted to take a break. She gathers her things and heads out. Ko right behind her as she shuts the door of her house and locks up. She heads toward the warp gate to travel to floor 9.

She knew exactly what he was saying. "When I first got here in this game, I treated it as a huge joke too." She holds his hand a bit tighter remembering what she had gone through and what she had to do to get to where she was at right now. "When Raidou saved me from that cave, I felt like I got a second chance. Anything could have happened, but the best of the worse took place." Taking a sip of her coffee and then looking out into the open where Gaius's gaze was. "I want to only move forward now. Let the past stay where it lays. Live every day to its fullest so that no moment is a waste." Being here with him now she was glad that Gaius asked her to come. She royally fucked up on that first relationship. She wasn't going to let that happen again. She would help Gaius get through this rough patch he was going through. God only knows how much he had helped her.

Coffee in hand, meal made for the man. The day was early and Freya couldn't find peace in sleeping this night. This thing behind the scenes in the back of her head has play a part in her movements throughout her time here for way too long now. Simmone had a huge reaction to the thing that popped from her and she was unsure why it bothered her so much right now. Today was the day that the questions where going to come out and she needed to speak with Simmone so that maybe she could ease her mind from this even just for a moment. Eruda had sent a message in guild chat. Freya sends a message herself to Simmone saying that she really needed to talk to her and that she was going with Eruda today on the quest. Today was going to be rough for Freya, she could just tell... Freya heads out to meet the group that would be showing hoping that Simmone would tag along today.

She gives a small chuckle at the mess that the fur balls made back home. "Yea, that is an understatement. They got into the flour again, I figured I would clean it up when we actually got home..." Remembering the knocked over tables and chairs with flour that littered about the place and up the stairs. White tiny prints everywhere. Freya eyes close as she gives a small huff. Listening to the attack plan she smiles. "Sounds like a plan," as her eyes open and then his voice changes. Almost sad but determined at the same time. It wasn't like him, but the words that came with that tone caught her attention. "I believe in you Gaius, I always have..." She interlocks her free hand with his free hand. "I believe in us, we are in this together now. Whatever it takes..." She leans her head on his shoulder. She knew they would be moving soon, but she would take what she could get.

Freya makes a funny face as she takes a sip of her coffee. It was very bland... and tasted like paper rather that Vanilla as it should be... "Oh, that is what you meant by that." She came to realize what he was talking about now. Taking another sip of her coffee, she swallows hard, forcing it down. "Okay, I really can't do this. I keep forgetting that they brew things like shit. I'll be right back..." She takes the tea from Gaius and throws both the cups in the garbage.
She is gone for about 10 minutes, but coming back to Gaius's side, she has 2 large cups, one with strong brew Vanilla Caramel Coffee and a well blended Breakfast blend tea the she had made. Taking a sip of this coffee as she hands Gaius his she says, "Much better..." as she takes another sip. "I have read very little on these chained quests, but your right, they are tough compared to the others that we have faced. So what is next then now that the bear is dead." She wanted to prove that she could be strong and of use too. Maybe this path was just the way to do so. She has for the most part learned to control this anger inside of her. Maybe to could learn to channel it too.

Turning a seeing Setsuna as her voice sounds snappy. Freya sits on the fountain facing her now. "A snake and no I am not doing this alone and you would know that if you payed attention to the message that was just sent 10 minutes ago. Instead, you were quick to judge me based on my passed experiences." This was said in an even tone with a bit of irritation added to it. Taking a deep breath, trying to calm herself as to not lose control, she looks up to the clouds. "I told you before that I was going to try and it's what all my focus has been on since our last talk." This was said in a calmer voice. She didn't like that Setsuna just jumped to the worst possible scenario, but all she could do was prove that she meant every word. "Freyd will be joining, you can if you wish to." She knew that deep down, maybe Setsuna was just keeping an eye on her giving that fact that she showed up so fast, she meant well but she had a weird way of showing it. Freya was secretly appreciative of this fact though...

It was mid afternoon, Freya sits in the shared shop eating lunch. French toast and eggs, yes, breakfast for lunch. She had not heard a peep from her little friend in her head for a while and she was sorta glad but at the same time disappointed. The day was still early and she needed to do something to get herself moving. She realized right then that she had yet to send a message to Freyd lately... Shit... She had hoped he was okay. She finishes her meal and sends a message to Freyd saying:

From: FreyaYou want to hang out today? I was thinking about killing a snake today but I don't want to go alone... Floor 16 is you care to join.
Her HUD chimes as the message sends and she sents another message through guild chat with the same message content without the hang out part. Her HUD chimes as that message was sent as well and she gets up from her chair and washes her dishes. At that moment she hears a crash from the other room. Peaking out she sees Boris and Ko rough housing with a chair knocked over. She shakes her head and dries her hands with a towel laying around. Freya gathers her things and makes a pit stop to the guild hall before making her way to floor 16. Arriving at this floor now after a bit of time she grabs the quest and sits on the fountain waiting for any responders for her invite.

Freya stands there for a moment, thinking... When he is good enough, when he knows who he is... What the hell was that suppose to mean. She thinks back about what he said prior to the bear crushing. He needed to find himself. Soul searching maybe... Whatever the case may have been, she was going to help to the best of her ability. Maybe along the way she would figure out a thing or two about herself. "Oh, uh, yea." Running to his side saying "I am going to get some coffee first. From the sounds of it, it is going to be a very long day," saying with a small chuckle.
As the approach the settlement she practically runs to the closest Inn and orders a French Vanilla Coffee and a hot Breakfast Blend Tea with a few honey rolls. As she waits for her order, she looks out the doorway at Gaius. He was right, it was obvious how he felt. She exhales softly as she turns and grabs her orders walking out with a few col pieces placed on the counter top. "I am with you 100% of the way then, let's go soul searching." She hands Gaius the tea and a roll as she takes a sip of her coffee.

Freya couldn't help but start laughing at the sight. The threat was just gone before it even starting. The large open forest became oddly quiet as birds flew outside the tree lines to get out of the blast radius. Freya walks to Gaius staring to the ground where it did stand. Freya was dancing around what she wanted to say for so long. It was time it came out. They were alone now... She pressed her lips together... God, why was this so hard...
Freya takes a deep breath... As she recalls the events out loud. "You kissed me, like really kissed me and then you made a scene with my father about me. You let me into your home and I treat you with food every morning that I can." She could feel her chest pound from every word she said. "We work as if we were one..." She turns to face Gaius now as her face becomes flushed. "How do you really feel about me?" Her eyes turn to a saddish squint as she waits...

"You don't think you had it in you. That is bogus I think. That first time you saw me after what happened to me, you are the one that helped me push through the pain I felt." These words came easy to her because everything she said was true. "You helped me stay calm. Every time after that when I got so full of rage I would stop and listen to your words from that day and breath." She wasn't surprised at the least that he had that effect on others besides her. She takes his free hand in hers, tilting her head slightly trying to look into his eyes as they walked. "You help me through the worst time of my life and for that I thank you." Freya started to get a warm feeling inside as she gives him a smile. "I'm glad to have you in my life Gaius because without you, I don't know where I would be right now." The warm feeling turns to heat as her chest tighten. This happened every time she was with Gaius and it was nothing that she had ever felt for anyone before. She knew what she wanted to say, but she still couldn't find those words... Her eyes shift the ground... "If anything this should prove that you had it in you. You really do have a way with words..." she says in a small voice as she grips his hand tighter not wanting to let go but she would if he pulled away.

The chuckle from him was refreshing as she smiles. Freya accepts everything and follows beside him as they walk out the gates. Her heart sunk just a bit... She thought for sure that Gaius would have yelled or something at her and a crazy weird part of her actually wanted him to. Biting her bottom lip softly as she breaks the gaze from him to look at the ground they walked upon. It was weird, Freya had no issues yelling at him and arguing with him to prove a point, but when it came to talking about her feeling to him it was difficult to find the right words... She knew that something was happening between them with the conversation prior with her father and that kiss, but they never took the time to actually figure it out.
She nudges him playfully trying to break the tension she felt, "Are you okay? You seem a bit off?"

A bun is her face as she steps on the teleporting pad. "Floor 8" she says with her mouth full. Reappearing on floor 8 and she snaps a buckle on her armor. Looking toward the quest board not seeing him she says "Fuck" as she glances around in a small panic... A glance to the left and then right as she finds him nearly right next to her sitting on the fountain. She takes a exhale of breath, calming her nerves. She finishes her small breakfast and rubs her eyes not fully awake yet. "Sorry I am late. I didn't realize what time it was..." She felt bad that she was not awake to make him breakfast but she was really beat from yesterday. "So what are we doing today." She yawns as she leans against the board trying to wake... She regrets now now having coffee, but she would manage maybe... She looks to the rising sun as the sky was orange. She smiles, enjoying the view. To be honest, there was nowhere she would rather be today.

Freya staying up a bit too late, sleeps in a little longer. Ko in her tiny form hops on the bed where Freya lays covering her face from the sun that was reflecting off her window. Ko sits on the bed and gives out a small coo. "Five more minutes Ko," Freya says softly. Ko didn't like that answer very much. She starts to drag the covers off Freya face. "No Ko just a little longer..." Ko gives a small huff and at that moment she turns into her large form without the flames present and flops herself on Freya's chest. "OMG KO YOUR SO FAT..." At this point Ko hops off the bed and drags the covers completely off Freya and runs off with the blanket out of the room. Freya is now just staring at the ceiling as she says "RUDE, fine, I'm awake." A thought goes through her mind before she says "SHIT" and hops out of bed and gathers her things quickly. She had just remembered that Gaius and her were going to do a thing today. She runs out of the room now and grabs a honey roll from the kitchen. Running past Ko as she opens the door. Ko runs out with her as she slams the door behind her. To the shop, entering she saw the dishes in the sink... "Damn it," as she shuts Ko in the shop with Boris and heads to the floor that Gaius and she talked about yesterday before she went to bed.

Freya raises a brow for a second before saying "Here let me have a go at it..." She was not much of a fisher either but she was a chef. Maybe she would have better luck. Simmone hands her the pole and she reals the line back in. Rearing it back she casts the line back into the lake. Moment later, a bite... A huge bite as Freya fights back on the line. She could feel arms wrap around her frame. A strength that was not only hers pulls the large fish out from the waters. Simmone holds the pole with her but it didn't even seem like she was pulling. The last bit of strength as she sees Kasumi grab the other side of the pole as it became much easier with the entire group pitching in. One large pull between the group, the large fish flies upward out of the water as the group catches their footing and moves out of the way. It lands on the ground where they were and Freya in an instant takes out her scythe and charges right at the beast. She was going to make sure she helped put it down quickly. No risks... She thinks to herself as the large creature rears up in anger. Slashing straight through the lining of its stomach. Freya jumps back as the creature lands back to the ground...
