Freya

Freya just nods as she quickly cleans the kitchen and heads out with Gaius. She was glad that Gaius was inviting her instead of the other way around. Thinking just yesterday that they had connected and shared what they had been longing to feel for one another. It was easy to be happy with Gaius and the fact that she was there to keep him anchored. Something that Freyd was doing for her through the weakest points of her life. Maybe she could trust Gaius with the knowledge but right now she had to help him. Do what Freyd did for her and keep this life a reason to stay alive in. 

There wasn't much talking between the two after Eruda and Griswold left. The fact was, sometimes no words said more. Freya takes Gaius's hand as they walk toward the gate intending to make it to floor 5 before anyone else showed up. Now that they knew what they felt, they would make a better team. She tightens her grip on his hand a bit and looks at him with a smile letting him know she would be here no matter what.

Freya could see that the female wasn't interested in the whole bonding thing so she shows a bit more aggression to the next words she speaks. "Then show it who's boss, show them that you are in charge, and don't let them disobey." She glances at Ko with a sharp glare. "I may look all peachy keen to you but I don't want to be here all dam day Ko." Ko straightens her stature up a bit and looks to Freya's weapon on her back. Freya right then pulls her weapon as a small glow appears then nothing... She didn't want to bully her familiar, but if yelling was what it took, then she would have to take that chance. "Now we are getting somewhere," she glances to the chick with the same flare in her eyes that she gave Ko. "Make it listen and don't give it room to not..."

Through some warp gates, they eventually end on floor 22 and in front of Freya's door to her house. The outside looks just like the guild hall exterior but as she opens the door, a Japanesse interior reveals itself rather plain but livable. A table standing a foot from the black fuzzy carpet. A built-in fireplace directly to the left. A large rectangular window to the right with no glass with view of the kitchen. A door way leading to the kitchen directly to the right of the front door leading further down a hall way to a wrap around staircase heading upward. A few doors are littered along the way. "Make yourself at home," she says walking into the kitchen as she starts grabbing the ingrediants for Sushi. Beginning to prepare the meal she says "All I am saying is that you have to be open to the thought of loving someone in this hell. What are you willing to do to keep that connection with the one that you love more than anyone here. Learn to work with them so that you know they are on the same page and want to live as much as you do so that there are no problems within the battlefield. Know that they will try just as hard to stay alive."

The red-head girl that she saw moments ago was at her side now. With a growl from Ko, Freya taps her tiny nose. Ko's ears go back, Freya looks to the female. A movement of hair, a shift of her body, a flirting motion. Freya just chuckles saying "Oh honey I know that motion all too well. It was my main play in high school. It worked for the most part," she gives the female a grin as she gets to her feet. "I am Freya and this little shit is Ko," she glances down at Ko, with a slight twist of her head looking up to Freya then to the other female. "As to your question...I am trying to figure out the same thing. Maybe we can figure it out together...Something about making a connection with it that no one else has with them, whatever that means." Freya kneels back down and remembers something from when she first obtained her. She was a much larger creature upon capture. "Every familiar is unique in its own way. If you could believe it Ko was much larger than this when we first met..."

Her eyes peeked out the hole as she watches Gaius, she just sits there for a moment staring at him as the large creature burst. Good, it was over... She thought for a moment about what she told Freyd just the other day and replayed what Gaius told her father. Hearing her name being called she speaks "I'm fine Eruda," from inside her dome. She wanted to prove that she had gotten better but she only made a connection once with the thing. She gets out of her hole and makes her way to Gaius in his new found armor. "That was really something, I like the armor," saying with a smile. She was unsure what to say right now. He stood up for what he felt amongst other things and she now knew that he had similar feelings that she never knew about. Without words, she just walks closer to him and places her forehead against Gaius's chest. "Thank you..." she says softly just standing there with her head against him not wanted him to see her face red like it was.  

After preparing a morning meal and delivering a dish to Gaius and Boris she walks out of the shop and glances down at Ko. "It's you and me today. It's time to see what you can do for real. Your real cute but there has to be more to you than just that," she crouches down and gives Ko a pet against her head with her finger. Her hand was bigger than Ko's entire body. Freya gets to her feet and glances around. She starts walking down the mountain and sees a redhead female in the distance. Another player she assumed as she didn't see many NPC's out here. "What do you think Ko, you want to invite her?" Ko gives a small growl. "Oh come on now. I know I said just me and you but it might be fun." She gets to the bottom of the mountain and takes a seat. "Fine but if she approaches we will not send her away. You will be nice..." Ko gives a small growl. "Oh stop it, focus on me now. Show me what you got..." Using what she grabbed from Simmone she was ready to train. She had an extra just in case though.

Sitting there listening to Freyd's explanation she became a bit serious as she remarks, "I will not cheat and I will not lie. The two things that I will never do. I would kill for anyone and everyone I love though." A feeling swells within her thinking about the kiss between her and Gaius and Freyd says his next words. "Simple you just let it. Make that choice that she matters and make it happen. Love can make you stronger and give you another reason to fight. I chose to love Gaius because it helps me keep my ground on reality and know that there is more out there than just fighting..." she places a hand over her mouth after she realized what she just said... Slowly pulling her hand away from her face... in a small voice looking toward the ground, "I love Gaius..." She ponders this for a moment before her face flusters a bit. 

"Ah yea Sushi," she gets up from the ground and clears her throat. She knew she had feelings for Gaius but she didn't realize that they were that strong... "Come to my house, it's next to the guildhall..." she says rather plainly as she was lost in thought. She starts heading to her house to prepare Sushi for Freyd.

Seeing Gaius clash like thunder against the beast after she had, she glances back seeing Griswold knock it the fuck out. Eruda's flame surrounding the beast with tamed dark blue flames causing the figure to shift. Freya smiles but refocuses on what they were doing. It was up to her and Gaius to take it out as they were the damage. With the intention of attacking the large beast in front of her, her Scythe glows brightly as she activates the same art. This time though...it was aimless. She jumps with the activation and with the guiding art it sends her flying through the air past the creature as Freya says "Wait not that way..." as you hear a PLUCK. Freya was now inside a snow mound behind the large beast. Freya pokes her head out of the white mound giving Gaius a glance... Her face turns red as she brings her head back in just sitting there in the snow mound, embarrassment.  Holding her Scythe waiting for when she was able to attack again...

Freya watched as Gaius stood his ground against Griswold. She bites her bottom lip as she listens to this transpires and unfolds in front of her eyes. It was then that she realized that Gaius did have some untold feeling for her. They hadn't talked about the kiss that happened but it was on her mind constantly. Was this what he was dwelling on in the tavern... Her chest began to pace faster as her eyes land on Gaius. Their eyes meet for a split second before they don't and Freya looks slightly to the ground as her eyes shift back and forth thinking about it all. 

After a few moments and feeling a bit relieved from Griswold's response she opens her HUD and shares the quest and sends a party invite to everyone. Freya again was speechless... "If you guys are done here we have a thing to do..." she manages to say as she walks past the guys toward the snowy lands. Taking a deep breath trying not to look at anyone as emotions that she thought she wouldn't have felt again started flowing in... A small blush forms on her face as she walks hearing crunching behind her... 

After a while of walking, she glances at her map and realized that they were close...too close, as the ground begins to rumble beneath her feet. At first glance she sees nothing but in her peripheral vision, she sees the side of a mountain move. A very large iced creature comes out from the side of the mountain. Freya takes her Scythe out with a twirl as she gives a look to Gaius saying "Ready?" She knew fighting but relationships...not so much as she starts running at the creature at full speed.

Ice chunks flying at her from above as she slides against the icy trail dodging them as they clash against the ground beside her. Something that looks like a giant leg smashes in front of her as her concentration activated. A black oozed mist illuminates from her body and weapon in unison as she slides against the ice letting her art that glows very bright, take action. Her Scythe connects with an exploding impact against the creature's enlarge legs. A roar shaking the mountains causing an avalanche in the mountain near her. Glancing up seeing this all she says is "Shit."

Glancing at Gaius with soft eyes. No smirky comments or smart ass remarks. He stares into the tea, "Gaius are you okay..." something was different... "Yea we are doing this Absolute Zero quest...Was waiting for you." She sits at the table while she hears Boris tumble down the stairs. Making his small figure to the food that Freya set he starts to nibble on it. Ko walks to Boris and just sits there staring at him. Watching Gaius for a moment she knew that maybe she had to be the upbeat one this time. In all retrospect though she was happy. She had figured out what she needed to do, she just needed to get there. 

Getting up from her chair she walks to stand in back of him. Placing both hands on his shoulders she says "You can talk to me when your ready but right now, eat your food, let's get this quest done. I have improved and I want to show you what I got." She gives his shoulders a small squeeze before heading toward the door. Opening the door she turns "Floor 4 when your ready, I'll be waiting," said with a smile as she walks out the door with Ko right behind her. "You can stay and hang with your little friend," glancing down to Ko as she walks back in sitting next to Boris. 

Freya heads to the warp gate and steps to it appearing on floor 4. Heading to the board she takes the quest and waits for the others to show up. 

Freya gets up from a decent night's sleep. Glancing at the time it was 6 am. She smiles, getting out of bed as starts cooking breakfast. Eggs, bacon, and french toast this time. A half-hour passes as she places each portion on two plates, one for her and the other for Gaius. Making a smaller plate for both Ko and the little bear. Setting them aside she eats her food quickly and sets one down for Ko. As she eats she figure that today she would do something a bit harder. A quest that she read up on earlier, something that she would need Gaius for, and possibly a few tanks. Raidou...Nah Eruda and Griswold maybe. In her own thoughts, her meal was gone. She takes the two plates and heads to the shared shop. Opening the door she sets one plate on the table and the other on the floor for Boris. "Gaius get your ass down here, you're coming with me today..." she calls up the stairs. 

While she waits she starts making the tea that Gaius always makes in the morning for himself and a cup of coffee with vanilla for herself. After a moment the tea was heated and made with the little contraption that he uses. Setting the hot teacup next to the plate of food she starts nibbling on snacks she got from the guild vault just the other day for a little boost. Sending a quick message through the guild chat saying:

With the chime of her HUD, the message was sent and she continues to nibble and drink her coffee while she waits for Gaius to come downstairs.

Freya mixes everything for the cupcakes in the bowl she was using with perfection. With flour and sprinkles everywhere, Freya just begins to laugh as a rainbow of tiny pixel candies were mixed with her blend. She had to of known that a mess was going to be done with someone such as Shiina being invited. To be honest...she didn't mind much. After making liquid dough she takes the cupcake pan and places the mixtures in each hole. She helps Shiina mix her cookie concoction and places a few spoons full of dough on a large cookie pan. Taking her blender she places a few strawberries and some ice with some vanilla ice cream and milk inside making a few large cups of milkshakes and sents Shiina to the living room with it after placing a straw in each cup.

While Shiina is occupied with that she places the cupcakes and cookies in the preheating oven. Cleaning up the kitchen now as she listens to Shiina slurp her drink. Freya quickly puts together some kibble and cooked meat pieces from the freezer, microwaving them till it's warm. Splitting it into 2 small bowls she sets them in the hallway next to the stairs leading up. Having not a clue where the two familiars ran off to, she knew they would find their meals eventually. After the kitchen was clean again, the oven beeps with the timer Freya set. Taking a hot pad and pulling the mystery treats out she puts them all on a large platter and carries it out to the living room. Rainbow cookies and rainbow red velvet cupcakes litter the platter. "Enjoy..." Freya says as she walks into the kitchen and grabs her milkshake. Sitting on the floor across from Shiina she tries one of the cookies... 

Freya looks up from her cookbook after finding what they were making. She can't help but chuckle at the fact that her countertop was now filled with literally every dish she had. Freya started to separate the ones she needed from the ones she didn't... Pointing at about half of the cook wear including the coffee pot she forgot she had she says "These are not needed... Put those away so we have room and we will start the fun stuff." She walks back into the storage area and grabs everything needed for the sugar cookies first, including a container of rainbow sprinkles. Making sure to portion out how much of each item needed she places a bowl in front of Shiina on the clear counter space with all the portioned out ingredients. "Mix all of these in the bowl, I will work on the cupcakes while you are preparing the sugar cookies." Setting the Sprinkles next to Shiina saying "Put as much as you'd like." Setting a large spoon around there as well she starts to gather items for cupcakes not trusting Shiina with the blender. As she walks around she starts to close some drawers and cabinets around the kitchen.

"Hmm, sugar cookie with sprinkles... What about sugar cookies with sprinkles cooked inside of them," she says as they arrive at her place. The outside of the building matched the guildhall. The inside, however, was a Japanese interior. It was a plain design of such as she hasn't gotten a chance to decorate yet. Walking through the door, a living room with a table standing a few feet from the black fuzzy carpet. A built-in fireplace against the wall to the left. Directly to the right, a large kitchen with a large rectangle window with no glass attached to the wall blocking the kitchen. A small doorway leading into the kitchen and continuing to another hallway. 

"Make yourself at home while I gather the stuff for our baking spree." Ko hops off Freya's shoulder and gets directly onto the table. Freya walks into the kitchen and goes through a door leading to a small storage room where she starts gathering the loads of ingredients that they needed. Coming out of the room with a small cookbook of sweats in her hands with some flour sugar and sprinkles and sets them onto the counter. She opens the book to find the recipe. "Do you like Red Velvet cupcakes?" Freya calls out to Shiina from the kitchen.

I accepted that it was my choice to fear myself that gave the rage its power.

Freya sits next to Freyd now. The only threat was dead and she could think in peace now. "There was no fear...at least I don't think. I just remember being so angry. So even though I can't deal with the cause of this furious feeling I feel, I have to somehow keep it at bay and use it for my own well being." Freya opens her HUD menu and takes out 2 honey rolls.

Then choose to master your rage, as I did mine, and teach it to fear limitless resolve instead.  Bind yourself to your cause.  Commit with everything you are and ever will be.

Freya hands one of the Honey Rolls to Freyd as she tries to decipher what he meant in regards to her situation. "So harness my anger and use it as a strength instead of a weakness." She takes a small bite of her Rolls. "What exactly do you mean by limitless resolve? It makes me think, to let HIM know that it will always be there and that I have proven that I can handle it. By forcing and aiming that feeling away from my loved ones, use it to my advantage in battle instead. Accept that that feeling will never go away and control it before it controls me..."

Even if this wasn't exactly what Freyd was talking about she knew in her own way that this was what needed to get done. She also knew that it wasn't going to happen overnight either. Listening to the last thing Freyd said... She knew now more than ever that she had to make up with Eruda. She could no longer keep Eruda in the dark. She needed her sister, she wanted to be close to her again. Getting to know Griswold and making up for lost times was on her to do this now too. Making that connection with her father was going to make being here in this game that much easier. On another note, she had to make up with Sam. She has not seen her for what felt like months and this might be that Sam was avoiding her like the plague. Freya couldn't have that on her conscience any longer and she had to do something. 

Glancing to Freyd meeting his eyes she smiles. "Every time I am with you, you help me through something... I would have come to this conclusion on my own but surely not as quick as this." She crisscrossed her legs now eating the rest of her roll. "A meal is in order, anything you want. It's the only way I know to repay what you've done for me." Leaning against her arms with her hands in the sand.

By accepting that it happened and that you cannot undo the past.

Freya's eyes open in a squint as they meet with his. "You told me what you did. Have you accepted it... If I was out in the real world with or without this thing in my head and just let my rage loose into the world..." she repositions herself sitting on her knees now keeping her eyes locked with his. "Eruda would have had no defense on her side and I would have killed her. Granted I wouldn't have known about Griswold..." Looking down at the ground now thinking that it would have been different... Eruda would have not been the target of her rage because the tabana thing would have never happened and she would have never met Griswold if it wasn't for this dam game in the first place... Freya was stuck in her head thinking...

The only thing that Eruda knew was that rage Freya felt for her mother... Eruda was quiet about the entire situation but she wasn't stupid... That was also when Eruda became silent, distant, and attached to Freya's hip... She was beginning to understand that she was not the only one in pain from what her mother did... She began to feel a pain in her chest but it was different...

"Freyd...I royally fucked up. Eruda was hurting and I had no idea because I..." she started to speak softly as she was actually crying now... "I was too focused on dealing with my own shit that I couldn't see that Eruda was in pain too." She started explaining her thought through her tears now, "My mother took us and I went into a rage that was unbearable. Eruda got silent and talked to no one besides me." Freya frantically glances around with just her eyes like she was sorting it out right there. "I was fighting so hard to keep myself from thinking about the past that I forgot to keep Eruda in that bubble. I pushed her away because I made myself forget the past..." 

Eruda was never the target of her anger... When she saw Eruda that night after waking, she saw her mother... It made sense now because the fight was the last thing Freya saw in her memories after she dealt with her Gemini... That was the memory that stuck like glue...

"I fucked up Freyd and now I need to fix it or at least try to," as she says this the ground beneath them began to rumble... Freya gets quickly to her feet and wipes her tears from her cheek. Her eyes shift through the sand to figure out where the source of the ground shaking was... Pulling her Scythe off her back, she watches the sands closely... Instead of throwing those feelings that she was just going through, out the window, she used them. She closes her eyes and listens...

After a moment she turns quickly as this thing was swimming at them quickly within the sands. Without looking at Freyd, she runs making the distance between Freyd and the thing. As it gets into range Freya grips her Scythes hilt tight with both hands and slams the bottom of her hilt against the ground. In the same moment, she uses those emotions to activate her concentration skill as black oozed mist flows out of her body and Scythe in unison. Moments after this the large shark meets a large crackling impact of its own. Like a dolphin jumping out of the water, the shark is in mid-air before Freya twists her Scythe around and jumps with her back foot off the ground letting her art guide her to the destination. Making contact with an exploding ending as Freya's feet hit the ground with a puff of dust adding to the black mist around her.

A deep breath out as she stares at the ground for a moment while the data of the very dead creature sprinkles above her head like snowfall. Turning to Freyd now meeting his eyes as he watched her demolish the thing... "I think I am beginning to understand everything now... Including how to use this," she says as she twirls her weapon just once in front of her with both hands before placing it against her back. She slowly walks back to Freyd placing her hands behind her back and interlocking her hands, staring at the ground...

Taking a slow deep breath as she recalls that entire day in her mind. "While I was fighting with my Gemini I was so angry. The memories that were given were oddly specific. The main ones of Griswold younger, then what he looks like now. Right after an argument that I had about him leaving with my mother. My thought after full and clear...Eruda, me, and Griswold spent the entire day together at that Tabana event thing that was going on. This was weeks before I did my Gemini. Eruda had every chance to tell me that Griswold was our father but chose to say nothing."

Leaning her back against the rock again, she felt another tear run down her face. Small but it was there. " I passed out right after I in-game standards, defeated my Gemini. Clearly, those raging feelings held because when I woke, and don't get me wrong it's still fuzzy, but when I woke I was pinning Sam against the wall of Eruda's shop with my Scythe against her throat. It was like it was me but not...The fear in Sam's eyes is unforgettable." Her chest felt heavier than ever as she said these next words. "I felt a hand on my shoulder and before I knew it I was swinging my Scythe backward against a shield as sparks flew against my face. Eruda had grabbed my arm after that yelling my name. The moment my eyes met Eruda's and I realized what was going on I dropped my weapon. I fell to my knees crying."

Another tear fell against her cheek. She closed her eyes "All I remember perfectly was that I was full of soo much rage and anger. I couldn't physically bring myself to stop until we locked eyes." A sniffle from Freya before saying "Sam ran out of the building and hasn't spoken to me since then. Eruda told me that my eyes were dilated with a slightly different shade or my original color." Setting her head against the rock again eyes still closed. "In that split, second nothing else mattered and I didn't care who got in my way. Nothing but rage... How can I forgive myself for such an action..." Freya was keeping her breathing straight. She really was not okay but it helped to actually talk about it.

"Yeah fair enough," as she walks through the maze. Shiina was a child at heart and Freya could appreciate that. "Hell yea I can make cupcakes. I can make anything you want. We could make a day out of it if you'd like." She still had the entire day ahead of her and experimenting with different sweets could help her determine what to add to her menu for the guild. "I feel like a milkshake." Freya becomes excited as they head toward the warp gate. House or shop she wondered. Turning to Shiina "Come to my house and we can do some baking. It's next to the guildhall... I'll wait for you on the other side of the warp gate." She steps onto the pad and disappears from Shiina's view. 

Arriving on floor 22 she waits on the other side. So far on her list of things to make was cupcakes, maybe red velvet with french vanilla frosting. Milkshakes, strawberry with vanilla extract, and whatever Shiina wanted. She began to wonder what else she would have her make. She started to get really excited as she waited.   

Listening to Freyd as they walk and talk... She stops dead in her tracks has Freyd mentions that night. A flood of emotions enters her as she was trying to hold back tears now. Sadness, regret, fear, anger... This was something she was trying to forget. The one memory she didn't want. She looks to Freyd with watery eyes, why would he bring that up... She bites her top lip, as she stops breathing for a moment. Her chest felt heavy and she could feel her eyes pulse between dilation and normal. Quickly shutting her eyes she turns from Freyd.

Remembering this night physically hurt her. She didn't do any damage to Eruda or Sam that night but she could have. If Eruda wasn't there, she would have surely lost it fully on Sam and hurt her really bad... And Eruda...she wasn't sure what she was doing at the time but she did attack Eruda. She loved her sister more than anything and anyone in the world and she attacked her She was all Freya truly had for the longest time. Her eyes pulse again, "God please not now..." opening her eyes now she glancing around. Seeing a large boulder she quickly walks to it and leans her back against it dragging herself to the ground. Legs curl against her chest, leaning her head against the rock, closing her eyes tight as a tear falls down her cheek. 

"I am sorry Freyd, I just..." her words drop as she takes a few uneasy deep breaths... Hands to her side as she digs her nails into the palms of her hands. After a solid 20 minutes of this, she slowly opens her eyes meeting Freyd's. This was her way of coping these days. If she felt like she was losing the battle she would take a moment to herself.

"I haven't dealt with that yet. Every time I remember what happened that night...It's just too much..." Freya sits up and takes a water bottle out of her pack and drinks some. "What makes me so different from Chase that you want to help me but not him. I mean, I threw myself at Sam and Eruda that night with the intention to Kill for a very split second. Eruda has forgiven me but I can't find the will to forgive myself... Sam is avoiding me at all cost. Why is it so easy to give me a chance but you won't give him the time of day or a second thought..." She really wanted to know this because right now it seemed like Chase and her attack out of emotions... When they become too much they both unleash. Freya was trying to find that peace, that small dim light to walk through and make it all better but it was becoming harder and harder every day.

Watching Shiina walk around the corner...Letting her do her thing still unsure exactly what that was. Moments later she hears another large roar, the ground beneath her shook, then she hears music... with a thud against the ground and another rumble..."What the hell," she says as her Scythe glows bright red. The glanced to the large towering opened walls and without another, though beside beating this creature's head in a black oozed mist starts to illuminates from her and her weapon as she quickly trails toward the battle.

Her eyes meet the large Minotaur's as she shifts and slides her body past Shiina, behind the creature. With a sword art in motion as her weapon glows brighter. Jumping back slightly as she carves straight through its torso. Shortly after impact comes an explosion with a burst of data following it. Blue sparkles left within the radiant energy coming from Shiina and Freya's black mist. After a moment the mist fades and Freya straightens up with a exhale of breath. With a swirl of her weapon, she places it on her back. "You have no fear do you, I like it!" Freya says to Shiina excitingly. "You shouldn't be running into the front like that though..." trying to not encourage what Shiina just did... "You were pretty amazing though..."

Glancing into the ruins now she sees a gleam beneath the rubble. Walking in a grabbing the jewel now their HUD chime in unison. Tossing it up in the air and catching it she looks to Shiina. "I guess that was all...You hungry. I can make us lunch being a Chef and all." Freya starts to walk out and back the way they came. "You coming," she says peeking around the corner calling out the Shiina.

Magic...what did that consist of, she knew that there were some forms of elements within this game but how far did it really go she wondered. She set that out of her mind, she would know soon enough what magic consisted of for little Shiina. Turning to her now seeing Ko put her ears back, Freya puts a hand out to Ko. "They don't want to play," Ko jumps on Freya's hand and runs up her arm and sits on her shoulder. 

After a few minutes of walking they come to an entrance. The walls were tall rectangular bushes...Curious. Within this entrance, there were two splits, two paths that could possibly be taken. Freya's eyes shift to the map, 'This is where we are supposed to be. Stay close to me Shiina." Freya looks left then right...Choosing to head right, she follows the left wall...They had to meet to an end at some point right? Glancing back every now again making sure Shiina was behind her still.

After a long while of walking just when Freya thought she got them lost, she hears a roaring cry in the distance. Freya takes her weapon out and continues with caution. Finally, an exit that seemed to lead to a wide area. Putting her back against the large bush she peaks around seeing a large beast guarding an entrance to some old sets on ruins. Freya pulls back still unsure what Shiina could do hoping she wasn't going to regret bringing her along. "There is a large creature around the corner. Are you ready for this?" She askes Shiina and readies herself to attack.

Watching Persi finally seeing him in full form, a smile given as she turns to liquid hitting the ground then back to full form. Ko's head turns still laying in a ball but looks to the other familiar with one eye open. Her head perks up watching her... Sitting up now she pats Freya's face to get her attention with a tiny paw. "You can see if Persi can handle you," knowing how playful and obnoxious she could be though she quickly says "Just please play nice..." as Ko jumps from her shoulders landing on the ground with a slide. Her tiny eyes glance up at Freyd before she chases after Persi. "I mean it Ko..." she calls out shaking her head now. 

Freyd smacks his lips loudly after taking a sip of the coffee. Freya chuckles at the scene as it was a comical sight. "I am glad you like it," she turns facing forward now taking a sip of her own with a small moan of enjoyment herself. After a moment saying "This was my ideal coffee choice back home. Just a little hint of vanilla to give it taste but the I love the bitter black too. It gives a nice spark to my buds. I am glad you liked everything though. When I think of my next I will let you try it. These are potential things I will be adding to the shop soon."

Remembering the comment about thwomping the sand shark, "Yea probably, it gets me just that much closer to what I wanted to do. I am not sure that is all that matters though. Making connections with the guild I think would do me some good as well. As you said before I can't do this alone." Her head turns slightly over her shoulder meeting Freyd's eyes with a smirk painted across her face. Facing forward she sees in the distance, Ko jumps on Persi playfully..."Ko I said play nice..." trying to see what Persi's reaction would be... She was very small in size but Ko really had no fear... 

The last caught her off guard a bit..." Oh um... It's been quiet. It's nice, I have been able to focus better. I have been finding new guild members that I haven't met before. I am not sure I have been giving a very good impression though...I am not sure that they really like me. High standards and all given that Eruda is a large part of the guild any every one seems to love her..." A small frown forms on her face but then she perks up a bit saying "I'll keep trying though..."

Handing him the steamy Honey treat and the still-hot coffee with a small chuckle. "Yea I seem to have a way with food more so here than back home. Gaius hasn't complained yet and I make him breakfast every morning that I can." Before he could take a sip of the coffee she says, "I added a hint of vanilla to that. It turned out really good. Not too sweet so you can still taste the coffee part of it." Ko hops onto Freya's shoulders before she got to her feet. Glancing down at Ko saying "What no climbing today?" Ko just gives a soft purring sound as she curls up on her shoulder and falls back asleep.

A smirk forms on Freya's lips as she glances at Freyd practically drooling while he eats what she made. "I usually buy them but I wanted to try my hand at it this time." Laughing a bit at the view she opens her HUD saying "Some info brokers claim that there is a beast under the sands just miles from town. I figured we could take a jab at it and catch up." Taking a few sips of her coffee she realized he never told her if he likes that last meal she cooked. "About that Salmon I made you...Did you like it? No lying either, I have been experimenting with tastes and I need to know the dos and don'ts. Will help me improve in the long run." She starts walking toward the gates backwards while keeping her gaze upon Freyd eager to hear the verdict of yay or nay.

Freya stops dead in her tracks as Shiina starts messing with Freya's faces. Talking a bit weird now as her face was no longer straight. "I am not sure I can grow one..." Realizing after Shiina's name outburst she gets where this was coming from...Sorta...Grabbing Shiina's hands with a chuckle releasing them instantly she says "I don't have to look like him to be related to the giant man..." She rephrases the words she just said in her mind and they looked very different... "Okay yeah it's a bit obtuse given the size difference but..." she excepted it though. "So... What do you do. I want to know...are you a tank given your heavy armor and a weird merchant like Simmone?" Ko hops from her shoulders and starts trailing behind her as they slowly began to walk again. She latches onto Shiina again and climbs her small frame. Sitting on her shoulders again she stares at Shiina's familiar again...

Her HUD chimed at the party group up. Freya's eyes glance at Shiina's name and sees an icon next to her name. At first, she doesn't realize as she says "Shiina is a pretty name." Glancing back up to Shiina's name trying to make note of what icon it was...It was like Simmone's. With a smile on her face as she turns toward Shiina walking backwards now. "You're in Firm Anima too, what talent do you have," she turns back forward with a skip in her step excited that she happens to stumble upon another guild member. Looking to the sky she thinks a bit with a finger to her chin. "I know Simmone, Eruda is my twin...and well Gaius..." She says his name clearing her throat as a blush forms on her face... She realized she was getting off the whole getting stronger task she was heading toward but she felt pure honor in meeting another member. "The man in red, and my dad Griswold," at this point she was talking to mainly herself naming all the members she knew to keep her memory fresh.
