Raeyliff

I've left this RP for a while now but now that I'm trying to half-return I'm not sure if this is possible with the choices you have for Tier 1 and so on.The thing is, as an alchemist, I'm pretty sure I can create a Gambler's Potion for anyone to use and, based on the loot die, it would either backfire or help them out. In addition to that, Invisibility Potions can also be created for Rogues. Ultimately, the only thing that I can possibly thing can be a good passive skill would be Apprentice, but I don't know if that can be accepted or not. The thing about passive skills is that a lot of them are covered with the creation of potions and crystals that can easily give passive abilities like Poison Immunity for a short while to not make it an OP thing.

Raeyliff saw that Ariel has left his goat close to death, and saw his opportunity to kill it. He nodded towards Ariel. "I'll take him out." he said, and charged. He didn't waste any time and was able to successfully slash his battle-axe through its body with ease, as he had done many times before. As he stopped and turned around, he saw nothing but the digital bits and pieces of it that were floating around, and grinned. That left them with only one goat left- Oikawa's goat. Raeyliff turned to look at Oikawa and kept his battle-axe equipped, in case they would switch and he needed to attack. "Thanks for the help, by the way." he said, looking at Ariel and smiling.

[Treasure Chest Found]

Raeyliff nodded and smiled. "We can look for a treasure chest. They're usually hidden around the area of each floor, but if you keep an eye out you can find out. I was with a friend once, and we found a treasure chest. That's why I know that they exist..." he said. Taking a look around, he saw something that looked like a box from the distance. "Ah, there we are. A chest." he said. He turned to look at Jynx. "Well, let's go! I won't be lucky to find another one. I should warn you, that each chest has a chance of being a Mimic, or some monster, or actually a chest with some treasure." he said. "If you want, you can open it. Maybe you'll have a shot at getting something good, possibly some materials or some col to buy stuff with." he said.

Raeyliff turned to look at Goat 3. "Whatever floats your goat, Oikawa.." he said, before charging at the goat and successfully slashing its side, making a decent scratch. It made a threatening sound but otherwise stayed quiet, and Raeyliff grinned. "Score." he said, before raising his battle-axe in preparation for his second attack. It was going to take a while, but he needed to kill it in order to progress. After all, he couldn't let the rest of the team have all the fun for themselves, right? He took a look at Oikawa and Ariel as they fought their goats before taking a look at the mini boss as he stared at all three of them, probably trying to find who it was that was the biggest threat.

Raeyliff nodded. "That sounds good." he said, turning to look at Aika, and noticed that she was looking at the sky. Rain?  he thought, before looking back at Aika. "Um, do you want to go to an inn or something and spend some time there or do you want to stay under the rain? Both things are fine with me, since we're in a video game and we can't really get sick anymore..." he said, laughing a little. The truth was that he wasn't sure yet, he didn't know whether you can get sick in this game or not, but he predicted that Kayaba wouldn't have put as much care into the game as to put in diseases as well. Raeyliff took a look at Aika before looking around, curiously. Noticing the clouds, Ash returned back to Raeyliff's shoulder and started to chirp, alarming him of a rain.

Raeyliff saw Oikawa miss and Ariel head on to another goat, and thought that he was the only one left to finish the first one off. He charged and swung at it once more, cutting it through and turning it into tiny little digital pieces that soared into the sky and went invisible as Raeyliff turned around. "Wonder where they go..." he said, before looking for a screen to tell him if he got anything out of it. As expected, nothing. Raeyliff grinned. " Well, at least that's one down. Oikawa, you ready?" he asked, backing up while taking a look at Oikawa. Goat boat. Goat on a boat. Imagine if you wrote a story about this fabulous goat that went on an amazing adven-NO,we're fighting now. he thought, keeping his eyes on the goats in case one would suddenly charge and attack him.

Raeyliff charged in after Ariel had attacked and swung his battle-axe at the goat she attacked and was able to move its HP color from yellow to red. It was now a thread away from death after he had slashed it and jumped back, grinning. "This is not so bad, hopefully we get something out of it that's worthwhile.." he said, looking at both Oikawa and Ariel "Oikawa, you're up." he said, looking at Oikawa before looking at the Crazed Goat that seemed to be preparing itself for the group. This will be indeed interesting...I wonder how Ash is doing? If I know that guy he's probably just flying around, scaring some birds...back to the goats, Raeyliff. Focus on the goats...even though I've always liked sheep more...Raeyliff thought.

"I'm just level 7, it's just the equipment that makes it look like I'm much better." he said, smiling, looking over at his battle-axe before looking over at Jynx. "I still do need to raise my battle-axe rank as well as buy a perfect battle-axe. This one is rare, it's good...and if you want, I can give it to you as well after I buy myself a perfect one, in case you don't have enough money for one yourself." he said, looking at her. Helsependel was a good battle-axe, it had helped him well, but he didn't know what he would do with it if he didn't give it to someone after getting his new one. He didn't want it to be hanged like a decoration, that would waste its value. Suddenly, hearing Jynx squeal while he was thinking about the options he had while looking around, he jumped, before turning to look at her, when she explained that she had seen a worm in there. Raeyliff nodded, before grinning. "It's fine. What do you want to do next?" he asked.

Raeyliff was now confused. After hearing Aeternum's story, Raeyliff looked at everyone and focused on Oikawa, as he started to explain how stuff will go on, and stood up. Buddy up, Oikawa had said. Buddy up with who? There were only a few people around here that Raeyliff actually knew, and he didn't know if they would go with him or if they had someone else to go with. But it didn't matter, he'd wait until someone needed a partner and then he'd walk with them. As he stretched a bit and prepared to take a walk around until 15 minutes have passed, but he had something on his mind that he needed to ask. He walked over to Oikawa, where he was sitting on the tree stump, and said "Hey, um, what exactly did Azide go after here?". So far, the only thing he knew was that Azide and Aeternum were taking a walk and a player showed up and died, or something like that. The plan to go over to Azide's last location seemed like a good idea, and the sooner they reached Azide, the better, since then Raeyliff would truly understand what's going on here, and what exactly are they going after.

Raeyliff grinned as he saw the bear reduced to his last HP and grinned. Now was the chance for him to attack,especially with it still staggering around like that after Jynx's hit. Raeyliff looked at Jynx and gave her a thumbs up before charging at the bear and slashing it through, destroying it into tiny digital pieces before he had time to turn around. A screen popped up in front of him "Ah. A material and 55 col..." he said, trailing off, before looking at Jynx. "You can take both, I'm not really in need of col or materials for the time being." he said, before a screen popped up in front of Jynx asking her to accept taking 55 col and the material from Raeyliff. Raeyliff smiled "You did good back there, I'm impressed." he said.

"Pleasure to meet you, Aika." he said, smiling, turning to look at her. "How's life going on with you? Everything going okay?" he asked. He knew that for many it was hard to adapt and become part of this new world they lived in, this world that guaranteed death. But it wasn't only that that made people scared. It was the fear of not going back to the real world, the dreams and hopes and goals they wished to achieve there that were now in risk of being taken away from them, just because they decided to buy a popular VR game like this. He turned to look at the sky, that had already turned a bluish purple, and saw the stars and the moon. If its one thing he truly enjoyed in this new world, it was the scenery, the nature, the beauty. Extremely ironic how there is nature and silence and beauty here, it being a video game and all. Still though, it's better than nothing, he thought. 

We actually have a new player named Zeri. Coincidence?  XD

Raeyliff took a look as Skylar was thrown to the ground outside the cave seconds after entering, and then heard the cave rumble before turning to look at what exactly was the monster that threw Skylar out. He pulled out his battle-axe from the inventory and then said, not looking at Skylar "You alright there?" he asked, as he saw a bunch of vines slowly trying to move and attack them. Raeyliff stood inside the cave for a moment, wondering how were they going to kill it if it had no head, before a vine came shooting his way. He had only secondS to raise his battle-axe just in time to block the vine away, and as he did, the vine soon retreated back to its original position. "Any ideas on how to kill this thing? Or do we just keep slashing the vines themselves?" he asked, looking at Ariel and Skylar. This was the first time he fought a plant monster other that the Shroomhead that he had fought with Azide during the time when he was trying to become an alchemist, so he did not have much experience on how someone could kill it.

"Pleasure to meet you too, Skylar." he said, smiling, before standing up straight. "Hunting? Well, I was planning on going hunting myself, and seeing you guys I thought you were planning to go on a group hunt so I thought of tagging along. Oh, and Ash and I are doing good, thanks for asking. How about you and Kimba?" he asked, as he looked at Kimba trying to catch Ash, who had comfortably landed on Raeyliff's shoulder and, with an amused look, gazed at Kimba, who was trying to get it. As Raeyliff was bending down to pet Kimba, Ash pecked Raeyliff's head before flying to a tree. Raeyliff, rubbing his head, still pet Kimba's head softly before standing back up, all while saying "oww....Ash, you didn't have to do that, you know..." he said. 

Raeyliff looked towards the direction of the speaker and smiled "Hey there," he said, before scooting over, thinking that she wanted to sit down. Not wanting to have an awkward atmosphere, he quickly continued conversation with the player. "My name's Raeyliff. My phoenix, I don't know if you saw it yet but you probably did, is called Ash. What about you?" he said. Ash, realizing that Raeyliff was fine and that nothing was going on, went back to flying, something scaring a few birds here and there. He took a look around, to see the number of players running around decrease and taverns lighting up their lanterns and candles. He looked forward to see the sun set and just seemed to be mesmerized by it for a moment, unable to take his eyes off of it.

Raeyliff was walking by Floor 2, tired after his fights at Floor 9. Ash, however, was as happy as can be, flying around and making invisible patterns in the sky. Raeyliff grinned a little at the sight as he kept walking. It would take some time before Ash, his phoenix, wanted to go back to Floor 9 again. Nothing beat the heat and the sweet lava of the volcanoes of Floor 9 for him. He sat down on one of the benches in the Town Square and just relaxed there for a bit, partly not knowing what was he going to do next, and partly because he needed to sit down for a bit and enjoy the wind. If it's one thing he liked about Floor 2, it was its amazing, cool winds that were always refreshing.

Raeyliff charged and slashed as fast as he could, and was able to break a couple of ribs off its chest. Angered, the skeleton roared and raised its sword up in the air before it charged and slashed Raeyliff once more before he could react at the arm. It stung a bit more but nothing too serious. He bent over and picked his battle-axe that he dropped from getting slashed and looked at the skeleton. "Well, I did double the damage you did with two attacks with only one attack. That should count as something, right?" he said, grinning, before raising his battle-axe for another attack. He wasn't through just yet. Meanwhile, Ash was simply taking a bath in a volcano, enjoying the heat.

Raeyliff took a look around before choosing a suitable monster. He looked to the direction a flaming skeleton warrior, or a scattered group of them. There were five in total, from where he could see. He walked forward and instantly got the attention of the first skeleton warrior in front of him and raised his battle-axe in attack mode. There was no time to waste, he needed to get materials for his shop that was long closed "If I had unlimited materials, I could almost guarantee the fact that I would be a master alchemist by now." he muttered to himself, before charging. Little did he know that he underestimated the power of the skeleton before him before being thrown back on the ground, a slash across his chest that stung but didn't hurt at all. He stood up and grinned. "That's more like it, but I have to kill you before you take away most of my HP, or else I'll end up too tired to continue." he said, raising his battle-axe for another try.

[Raeyliff fails, boar deals 1 dmg]

The boar glared at Jynx with its glowing red eyes after she had finally successfully hit him, but then turned to look at Raeyliff. True, Jynx was the last person to hit him, but Raeyliff posed a greater threat, especially since it was easier for Raeyliff to drop the boar from a decent 11 HP down to a dangerous 5 HP. It was, because of that, obvious to the boar who he needed to get rid of first. It turned to look at Raeyliff, who grinned knowingly that there was no way it would attack Jynx just yet. He raised up his battle-axe in defense, but that did no good. The boar, lunged directly at him with enough power to make Raeyliff fall back a few steps with a small scratch on his arm. It stung, but the pain was ignorable. He turned to look at Jynx. "Your turn. Attack it when I still have it's attention." he said, keeping his battle-axe up in defense.

[Raeyliff fails, Boar deals 1 dmg]

Raeyliff went forward, the second battle-axe user in line. He hoped to have some more luck than Jynx in hitting the boar, but he was nowhere close. As he charged, he was shocked to see that the boar was already two steps ahead and already lunging itself directly at his chest. He had enough time to realize the fact that he was too late before he fell back, the breath knocked out of him. He spent a few moments on the ground, regaining his breath slowly, before standing back up, holding his battle-axe. He walked back before saying. "Next.". He looked at Jynx. "Guess it's not the day for battle-axe users, huh?" he said, grinning, before looking forward at the boar. They could kill it, but they just needed the power to be able to go ahead and destroy it. All it would take is one critical hit...and you're gone...but when will that happen? he thought, looking forward.

Raeyliff looked behind him to see that a kid, probably that Aeternum that they were looking for, was walking up. He nodded. "Here he is, Oikawa. Is that him?" he asked, gesturing to Aeternum. Making sure not to sound rude, he turned to look at Aeternum. "Hey there, we were waiting for you. Apparently Azide called for all of Square One before running off somewhere, and now we're going after them. My name is Raeyliff, pleased to meet you." he said, smiling, looking at Aeternum, putting his hand out to shake his before looking at Oikawa. "So, what now? Where do we go? What do we do?" he asked. He didn't like to be kept confused about something, especially if he was going to be part of whatever it is. He liked to know what he was doing through and through before going through with it. 

Raeyliff and Ash teleported to their most desired destination, Floor 9. At first sight, Ash chirped excitedly before squawking and flying far from Raeyliff. Raeyliff looked at it, a bit tired from running after it every day, but smiled. "After all, it did want to see this place again. I can't blame it." he said, looking over at where it went before running after it outside the safe zone. He ran through the path to see a hint of where Ash went, before it stopped and looked back at him with its intense green eyes. He understood immediately and went to his own path. It wanted to be alone, to do whatever it needed to do to feel like it was back home, to not feel like it was waited on by someone or something. Raeyliff understood that and grinned. This would be a win win situation for both of them. While Raeyliff would go ahead and fight some monsters here, Ash would return back to the volcanos and flames to treat his homesickness.

Raeyliff smiled. "We do have all day indeed." he said, smiling, before turning to look at the boar. It was his turn, but the boar didn't take as long. Taking advantage of Raeyliff's pause to talk to Jynx, it lunged at him and hit him square in the chest, making him fall back on the ground. It hurt, but not as much. Raeyliff stood up slowly with his battle-axe in hand. "Really hate it when these monsters start getting a mind of their own." he said, before smiling. While he did hate not being able to quickly take down a monster, it was a nice challenge after all. But...he didn't want it to continue on, with them losing all their energy in trying to find one monster alone instead of a couple more. Raeyliff grinned "Back to you, Jynx." he said, before leaving her room to fight.

"Right.", Raeyliff said, starting to pack up his bag and put his flint and steel back in place inside. He would keep the bag with him until later days where he might go camping, maybe with friends or alone. He did want to spend a night staring at the stars away from the towns and all, it was his thing to do stuff like that. Smiling, Raeyliff finished packing up and carried over his backpack before taking a look at the cargo and then picking it up from both handles that should have had horses strapped to them to move it around. Obviously they ran away after seeing that they were deserted. It was heavy, and he wasn't able to pick them both up on his own, even with the Athletics skill. He looked at Ariel, grinning "Can you help out? I can't carry it..." he said, trailing off. 

Raeyliff was lying down under a tree in Floor 2 with Ash before getting notified of a message. Raising his eyebrows, he sat up and decided to read the message. "All Square One members...be careful, come here right away. Got it." he said, before closing his messages and equipping Helsependel. Ash looked up curiously as Raeyliff put the battle-axe on his back, where it was usually held in place, and opened up the map to display where Azide was. Ash flew over Raeyliff's shoulder, took a look at the map, and chirped. Raeyliff grinned. "Let's go, buddy." he said, before running to the co-ordinations, and finally reaching Azide- or what he was where Azide was. Looking around, he noticed that Oikawa was here and was with a bunch of other dudes. He walked over to Oikawa before receiving another message, this time from him. He read it over quickly before going over to him. "Hey Oikawa. I'm new to this guild so...care to explain what's going on? Why would Azide call everyone over and then just leave the meeting place?" he asked, curious. After noticing that Azide wasn't there he immediately felt that something was off, so he needed to know.
