Raeyliff grinned and nodded. "Good morning to you too. Thanks for keeping watch while I went to sleep." he said, rubbing his eyes before stretching and looking at the sun. Ah, the quest. He turned to look at Ariel as she offered some boar meat and nodded. "Well, boar meat is better than anything we'll find here, I'll bet." he said, laughing. He looked towards the sun and sat down while leaning against the cargo to keep him up. It wasn't the most comfortable way of sitting, but it would do. He looked at the Sun, or what he became accustomed to calling the Sun. After all, it's just a bunch of codes written to make a virtual Sun for us to feel and see. he thought, looking forward. He was still sleepy, but he assured himself that the taste of the meat would wake him up...and oh, if only he had brought some chocolate along. He took a look around one last time before standing up and turning to Ariel "Hey, need any help cooking the meat?" he asked.

Raeyliff nodded and went to his tent to sleep as Ariel went over to watch over things as he took a break. He was very sleepy, so it did not take him long to go to sleep right away. He dreamt, which was an uncommon occurrence that had become a bit more common once he entered this world. He didn't understand why that was the case, but he accepted it. After all, he did like dreams...but never got the hang of knowing how to control them. He dreamt of his first day in Aincrad, how a player named Destiny helped him out, before the dream changed, this time being in the real world. He dreamt of the days when he was with his family, with friends, before being stuck in this game. He remembered his constant excitement and enthusiasm for new games. Then the dream became a nightmare. He was fighting a monster and was about to die and was not able to flee, for some unknown reason. As the final hit was about to take his life he woke up, gasping, before sitting up and trying to calm down before walking out. Nightmares were rare...but they existed due to the unconscious fear of death.  

Raeyliff went on Floor 2 by accident. He didn't mean to show up here, he meant to show up at Floor 9, but things went wrong when he started to say 'Floor' and another player yelled 'two'. Of course, with the squawk of his phoenix, it did not help the teleportation square to know where to go, and therefore shot both Raeyliff and Ash, his phoenix, up to Floor 2. Ash squawked in anger and flew up in the sky before lighting itself on fire from its anger. Raeyliff sighed before saying to himself. "Well, if you hadn't gone and started squawking we might've been able to head to Floor 9. Well, since I'm here, better see who can I meet and what can I do." he said to himself, before loudly adding. "Our last stop, Ash, I promise. After this we're shooting straight towards Floor 9. Let's go." he said, before his phoenix made a noise and flying high while following the running Raeyliff, who ran out to the edge of town to see two players, Ariel and a new player, talking. He smiled before slowing down to chat. "Hey Ariel! Are you guys planning something or....?" he asked, before looking at the other player. "Hey there. Who are you? My name's Raeyliff. Pleasure to meet you." he said, saying everything in short sentences while trying to catch a bit of his breath from running so far.

Raeyliff nodded and went ahead to form a nice campfire from some sticks he had picked up just in case before they got here, and surrounded the sticks with some stones that were around to make a safe campfire. He put some sticks aside in case they wanted to cook anything on the fire. It took him a while, but he was certain that it was ready to go. He took a look around before looking at the campfire that was still unlit, thinking. "So...does this work by interacting with it or by using flint and steel?" he said to himself, trying to interact with it. It did bring up an option to light a fire but it required flint and steel. Raeyliff smiled and pulled out the flint and steel from his backpack and started to make sparks, and soon was able to light a fire before taking a few steps back and sitting down. Ariel asked if there was anything else to do and Raeyliff shook his head. "Not that I know of. You can go to sleep, I'll watch over things. Coyotes, wolves, rabid dogs...who knows what kind of monsters Kayaba put here?" he asked, grinning.

Raeyliff grinned. "Now we're talking. Let's get into it then. Hmmmm.....oh! There's one. Do you see that bear right there? We'll take that dude over there, the bear with 11 HP. He seems cool enough." he said, before running towards him, already pulling his battle-axe out. "Come on come on come onnnnn" he yelled, before swinging his battle-axe directly at the bear, making contact with a lot of force and moment to push it off its legs and onto the ground. It struggled to get itself back up, a gash on its side, before Raeyliff jumped back and grinned, looking at Jynx."Your turn." he said, smiling, before looking back at the bear that was glaring at him with its glowing red eyes before roaring. Raeyliff looked back at Ash as he flew from one tree to the next to get closer. "Don't worry Ash." he said, giving Ash a thumbs up. Ash chirped and looked on.

Raeyliff was about to charge before at the first boar before he noticed that the second boar was staring at him from a squawk coming from Ash that alarmed him. He stood back up and raised his battle-axe just in time to stop the attack, but not completely. He fell back a couple of steps in the process while getting a small scratch on the arm, nothing too serious for him. "Bad luck for me then. Keep going guys, we'll kill 'em in no time." he said, cheering the group on. In a sense he had been annoyed over the fact that he wasn't able to attack a boar, but he was also grateful that he didn't get to attack. He didn't want to kill or almost kill a boar off for them. He looked back at Ash and gave him a thumbs up before taking a look a the next player in line.

Raeyliff came to Ariel's shop after receiving a message that it was done. He looked around to find that Ariel was not behind the counter. Ash chirped and Raeyliff looked at it before he looked where Ash was looking, which was directly towards Kimba, who was looking at them curiously before pushing the blue bag towards him. Raeyliff took the bag and nodded towards Kimba. "Thank you. Not sure if I should pet you or not...knowing that many familiars aren't that tame, I might want to refrain from that until later." he said, grinning. He put 200 col on the table before saying out loud "Thanks, Ariel and Kimba." and walking outside to put on his coat.

At mentioning Floor 9, Ash squawked loudly and burst into flame. Raeyliff turned back just in time to see the fireworks before sighing. "And I thought we got over that..." he said, before looking back at Jynx. "Sorry. It's because we never went to Floor 9 after I got him. I wanted him to lose the fire and the arrogance..." he said, looking back at Ash. "But aside from that he's fun to hang out with. I can't imagine losing him. I won't." he said, before looking at Jynx. "Sure, let's go at it, fellow battle-axe user. I'm still at Rank 1, haven't given much thought to upgrade it, but now that there's a challege..." Raeyliff said, grinning. "You're on." he said. Looking around, he thought of maybe going with Jynx to fight some boars. Maybe that will make stuff less awkward, both for her and him.

Raeyliff sensed her uneasiness and was about to say that it was okay to do absolutely nothing in the middle of the forest, since he himself was not doing anything useful a couple of minutes ago himself, but then she seemed to ease up a bit and asked him about what he was doing here. As he began to reply, she began again, and so he nodded and smiled. "My name is Raeyliff. Pleased to meet you, Jynx. And you don't have to worry, your question did make sense. Ash, my pet phoenix.." Raeyliff pointed back to him and Ash tilted his head in confusion "Ash decided to have  me chase him around after we were perfectly relaxing under a tree. I don't blame him, it was getting boring." he said, and laughed. He turned to look at Jynx. "I haven't seen you before, and you probably haven't seen me around much either. But I'm the only battle-axe user in this world as far as I know, so it's quite easy to remember who I am." he said, grinning.

Raeyliff was lying down against a tree nearby while whistling. It was an amazing day to lie down with Ash, while he chirped with Raeyliff. Raeyliff laughed and looked at the sky. "Man, Ash. I really can't tell what I would be doing without you." he said, stroking the phoenix, who chirped happily. Ash stood up, flew to Raeyliff's chest, pecked him playfully, then flew off. Raeyliff laughed before noticing that it was flying off somewhere. "Ah, I see where this is going. Ash, here I come!" he yelled, before grinning and running after it. As he ran, he noticed Ash in red streaks here and there as it waited for him to appear before moving forward again. Soon, it chirped once more before landing on a branch of at tree and looked forward. Raeyliff looked up "There you are! What are you..?" he asked, looking at the direction Ash was looking at to find another player. He walked to the player and smiled. "Hello. What are you doing?" he asked, not really knowing what to say.

Raeyliff took a look around before he began to write down the notes he got from making the Tank Potion. "Finally, my first perfect item. Wait until you see this Azide..." Raeyliff said, before looking up. "Azide would've probably known about this by now...no. He'd rather go and make health potions. Probably." he said, reassuring himself, before standing up. He took a look at Ash and smiled before standing up. After the last potion he had felt more knowledge of alchemy entering his mind and becoming part of his consciousness, similar to the first time he had went through the <<Earning a Living>> quest. He smiled, remembering van Hohenheim. He needed to pay the man a visit again to talk about this new skill he had, making crystals. Before he made one though, he wanted to create one final potion that would allow him to feel like he still had the hang of things. Standing up, he pulled out the last material he had and sighed "Already? I'll have to go get some more then..." he said, but started to work. He worked quickly now, with more smoothness than before his raising of a rank, putting the material under the bunsen burner only for 10 minutes before he poured its liquified state into a beaker and added some water and stirred. After a while, he turned to observe it to find that the potion had turned a nice glowing purple. He smiled before pouring it into a test tube and closing the lid with a cork before setting it aside and taking down notes. 

"The Glowing Potion: This potion allows for the drinker's eyes to glow with whatever color they please despite the color of the potion being purple. The purple color is only the hint of a nice berry taste that it gives to the drinker." he read aloud, before closing his leather book for now and standing up. "C'mon Ash. If we're lucky, we'll find another material soon enough before the end of the day and try our luck on another potion. So far, this is going good. I'm improving." he said, grinning, before Ash chirped and flew to his shoulder before he closed the shop and walked out.

Jynx, give us your power!! The thing is... I rarely have actual dreams. Mostly its just black. Pitch black. That's why I can never know if I can keep a dream journal or lucid dream. I was thinking of the Wake Induced one because Memory Induced may be too hard for me to take on, but I'm not sure.

Raeyliff laughed as he saw Jynx flex her right arm and nodded "I know, right? Almost like lifting weights everyday." he said, smiling. He remembered how he used to barely be able to carry the battle-axe after joining this game. He, at first, doubted that he had made the right decision, but decided to take the risk. The Athletics skill and the time that went by allowed him to gain enough muscle to carry it mostly without effort in the past few days. He nodded as he heard Jynx explain how her battle-axe was kept with her before nodding. "Well, I usually carry it over my shoulder, since it would be really heavy if it was on my waist. It's a double sided battle-axe, you see." he explained, before pulling it out. "So the only way for me to carry it around is over my shoulder. But if I want to go fast somewhere I'll usually unequip it." he explained. Looking at Zeri, he noticed that there was a person he was pushing forward. Syo, Zeri's friend. The player who was out somewhere. "Nice to meet you, Syo." he said, smiling. Zeri went on to explain about his broadsword, to which Raeyliff raised his eyebrows in surprise. Two handed weapons, in general, were not really the most common sight in Aincrad. He smiled, but before he was able to comment Zeri doubled over and then stood up after a while, saying that he was fine. "Are you sure? What was that?" Raeyliff asked. He never saw a player double over in pain before, not in a safe zone.  He turned to look at Psyche, who was asking a question about Ash, the phoenix that was now just looking at Zeri. He looked back "I didn't choose it. It chose me. And we just became partners." he explained, before looking up at Ash and back at Zeri.  

Raeyliff walked into the Lion's Den after he had sent Ariel a personal message the following day. He had been bored when he remembered that he needed a coat that would help him walk through harsh weathers that would easily allow him to be weaker than he was. He walked in and looked at Ariel. "Hey Ariel! I hope you got my message. Is it ready for me to take or should I come back later?" he asked, smiling.

"Uh...I wouldn't pet it, if I were you. It bites." he said, looking at Zeri. Ash squawked loudly before flying up and landing on a branch of a tree, looking down at Zeri with its intense emerald green eyes. Raeyliff sighed while rubbing his ear. "Sorry, he does that whenever he senses 'danger', which ends up being a friendly player only seeking to pet it." he said, grinning. "Pleased to meet you all. My name is Raeyliff, up there is my phoenix Ash. He doesn't like to be held by anyone, he doesn't like to be pet or stroked by anyone except those that it trusts, and he REALLY loves fire." he said, before muttering "as much as I love chocolate." raising his voice again, he said "Well, now you know us both. Oh yes, I'm also a battle-axe user. A very rare sight to see nowadays. I haven't seen a single battle-axe user singe the first day we began our 'new life' here. What about you guys?" he asked. Keeping the conversation going and having everyone talk about stuff they like or their skills would allow trust and better teamwork on the field, if they were planning to go and fight.

Raeyliff was walking around Floor 1 with his familiar Ash. It was one of those days Raeyliff liked to walk around and let whatever happens happens. So, obviously, when the silence he was enjoying was cut by some conversations going around a tree nearby. Ash, his phoenix familiar, chirped, and he looked at it and then looked at the players. They all seemed to be new. He smiled, and walked over to see if he can help out with whatever they were doing, or even join them. He looked at the guys talking and then talked. "Uh...hey there! Couldn't help but hear you guys talking so I thought you were planning to go on an adventure. May I join?" he asked, smiling, looking from one player to the next. Ash, please don't do anything embarrassing..don't run away either. he thought.

Description:  A potion made with Granike Stone crushed into fine powder and mixed into a Sulfide Solution, and boiled for 3 minutes to remove any way of it being dangerous before it cooled down, this potion allows the drinker to heal 5 HP instantly as well as give him a +1 in Damage Mitigation and +1 in Damage in the next successful hit he/she makes and the next time they are attacked. This potion was created solely for the purpose of giving a fighter, or a tanker, a better position and an advantage against his or her opponents. It glows with a nice green color and has the nice taste of refreshing mint. It is sealed in a test tube that is covered by a cork to prevent it's release or its reaction with any outside substances.

Raeyliff sat down on his desk and started writing down thoughts he had, ingredients that might make amazing potions. He stood up and paced around before taking a look at Ash, who was looking at him with curiosity. He looked at Ash and smiled "Hello there, Ash. Nice seeing you in the morning. Don't suppose you have what it takes to make an amazing potion with me today?" he asked, and Ash chirped in reply. Raeyliff smiled as he moved away from Ash and to his laboratory and started to crush an ingredient, mix it into a solution, boil the solution for 10 minutes, then stir it. In the middle of it all, dark green smoke was released and Raeyliff was filled by disgust of the smell. "EEEEWWW!!" he yelled, before throwing out the chemical into the wash and then rinsing the beaker he had the potion in. "Ah well, a wasted one...let's try again!" Raeyliff said, excited, as he pulled out another ingredient and begain to work. He silently, yet quickly, moved his hands in a crushing motion as he crushed yet another stone, poured a different solution on it, looking at the moles of the solution and the amount he poured. Then he mixed it well and made sure that it was now a single drink before he stirred it nicely, boiled it for 3 minutes, then let it cool down. After a few minutes he looked back to see that he had made a nice potion with a glowing green color to it. Focusing, he read out loud it's information.

"Tank Potion. Perfect Quality. +1 Damage Mitigation, +1 Damage,+1 HP Recovery....wow...I finally did it. I created a useful potion. I can actually sell something now....heh...heh." he said, before leaning back on his chair. He grinned. He was done for the day.

Hey Guys,

So after posting my status I found out that some of you are actually lucid dreamers, which is really cool. My question is: What do I do to have a lucid dream? How do I go through with it? I've done a lot of research of wake induced lucid dreaming and going to sleep and telling myself that I am dreaming and all that but I don't quite understand exactly WHAT to do. Can you guys help out?

"That would be nice." he said, walking next to her, as they reached the teleportation square. "Floor 4." he said, remembering where Alyss said her shop was, and teleported them both to it. "Alright, lead us to it, Alyss." he smiled. He looked around to see that Floor 4 was still as it used to be. Cold, yet beautiful with lights and snow everywhere. It was an amazing place to get hot chocolate in...the only problem he had with it is him getting sleepy fast in it. He wasn't able to put up a fight in this town. Raeyliff took a look at the Town Square and the shops to see that players were wearing cloaks and such. "Man...I really need a coat for myself." he whispered.

Raeyliff watched as Crozeph fell. "Shoot, I gotta go help him up.." he said. That was enough motivation. He grabbed his battle-axe, raised it, and charged. Running as fast as he could, he quickly used the momentum to swing his battle-axe and make contact with the swamp stalker, slashing its side and pushing it a meter away with the force of impact. Looking at Crozeph, he bent down and held out a hand. "Quickly, we don't have much time. Grab my hand and I'll pull you out." he said, glancing at Crozeph then at the stalker, who was starting to go back to where they were. He couldn't leave a team member here and in such a vulnerable position. Looking back at Oikawa, he nodded "Go!" he said.

Raeyliff nodded after Crozeph had failed to attack it and charged with his battle-axe. "My turn!" he yelled, as he swung to make contact. Miss...he thought angrily, as he ran forward and was behind the swamp stalker. Ewwwww....he thought, as he looked at it. He was a safe distance away, but he couldn't really move around much. He looked at Oikawa and nodded. "Go for it." he said, before trying to find something to distract the monster in some way. He'd been unactive for quite a while unknowingly, and was angry at himself for being that way. He didn't think that he was THAT slow of a person as to not be able to catch up with a fight like this. Letting out a sigh, he kept looking in search of a stone to be able to hit the monster.
