    [Raeyliff deals 4 damage]

Raeyliff looked at the next monster that approached them and sighed. "Ah...it's really disgusting...do I really have to attack that?" he asked jokingly. He looked at the team as they started hitting the monster, each putting a scratch or slash on him from their slashing. Soon, it was his turn to fight, so he stood up straight and pulled out his battle-axe. "Can't kill you, but I can hurt you bad enough that you're closer to death." he said, before charging. He slashed at its side and was able to successfully make contact before jumping back as it howled in pain and then glared at him with a look of pure hatred. He shrugged. "Meh, as long as you die, I'm cool. Switch!" he said, before going back to his original place.

Raeyliff sat down in front of the cargo and looked at both Red and Ariel.. "Well, I'm guessing the first thing to do is build a fire, then build a tent? Do you guys have your items?" he asked, looking at both of them. He wasn't planning on building his tent just yet, he was going to keep watch for the night first. Raeyliff felt some wind brush against him but only felt the small sting of the scratch on his face. He winced a little but was fine otherwise. He stood up and looked at the cargo, which had some goods. Although he was in great need of materials and equipment, he decided not to steal anything from the cargo. After all, this was a quest, and they could fail it if they took anything from the cargo. He looked back at Red and nodded, brushing dust off of himself. "Okay, what do we do, leader?" he asked, smiling.

  3. (( So sorry guys! Been busy with some stuff IRL, but I am back now. Sorry again!))

Raeyliff was almost becoming a spectator by now, and he didn't want that. His battle-axe started to feel heavy from lack of use, and after seeing that Ariel had had her turn, he decided it was better for him to take action now. He looked at Baldur "Wait up a bit, I'll attack it, then switch." he said, before looking directly at the stalker. There was no better way to describe it than with the word 'disgusting'. He charged at it and swung at it, but it quickly jumped out of the battle-axe's reach. Raeyliff, noticing that he hadn't made contact, quickly jumped back. He wasn't proud of himself, but at least he tried. He looked at Baldur and said. "Sorry man, switch." before looking over at it. He was no longer going to spectate or zone out during this fight, or any other one.

  4. Raeyliff walked in with his familiar Ash on his shoulder before it squeaked happily and flew into the stove. He smiled, putting on his gloves, as he looked at it, moving to the back room. He knew that it was trying to feel the fire of Floor 9 once more. Come to think of it, he should go back sometime...but not now...he had stuff to do. He looked at the material in front of him and sighed. "I can swear that these materials are used up more than they are gained...." he said, before getting to work by boiling some water and crushing the mineral with his mortar and pestle.

Raeyliff stopped after noticing that Oikawa and Ariel had stopped in front of a cave that would lead them inside the mountain. He looked over, not really paying attention to what Oikawa was saying, to a plant that he felt was familiar. He went over to it and picked it up before looking at it closely. "Ah, this is good. A material. It can help me out in some of the potions I am making soon enough." he said to himself, before walking in with Oikawa and Ariel. "So where is that portion of the cave that has that lake type of thing? Do you think it will take us long to get there?" he asked. Ash was flying around the mountain, hesitant to go to Raeyliff inside, but decided it was better off inside anyway. It would be able to at least help out in some way, correct?

  6. Raeyliff nodded as he looked at  Oikawa and Ariel before they both starting running outside of the safe zone. Raeyliff looked at Ash "Ash, spread your wings and fly by me, we're going to go fighting."he said, stroking Ash's head to comfort it before it squeaked and flew up in the sky, but it did not set itself on fire like it used to. Raeyliff ran alongside the two as he regularly looked up to check on Ash, who was probably having the time of his life flying. Looking down, he smiled to himself. He's still addicted to being on fire, or being inside one, but it seems like he's able to control it better now. he thought, running with the group. He looked at Kimba and saw him running, probably ahead of Oikawa, making him grin as they kept on running but got closer to the hill they wanted to go on.

  7. Ash looked at the growling lion cub with its intense green eyes and let out and angry squawk that was loud and shrill. "Oi...Ash, not too loud, you're right next to my ear man.." he said, before looking at Ariel. "Hey Ariel. Well, it noticed me first, and then I noticed it was flying around me, so then I met it. It's called Ash." he said. Looking at the lion cub, he smiled "It's so cute! Kimba, right? Congrats." he said. Looking at Oikawa, he grinned. "Well, Mr. Leader, it seems that our third member is here. Now what do we do?" he asked.

  8. Raeyliff was in Floor 7 for the sake of being in Floor 7. He had no reason to be there except for the sake of touring. Ash, his familiar phoenix, squawked as they walked around the town square and entered shops. It was happy, and excited for a new day filled with fighting and adventure. After a while, they sat down together on a bench in the Town Square and looked around before getting a message. "Who's this...?" he asked, as his phoenix squeaked. "Oikawa..says he wants to go mat hunting...very well, let's go, it seems we have something to do." he told Ash, before standing up and walking towards the place where Oikawa was, based on the map. Raeyliff, reaching the place, raised his hand in a gesture of greeting and smiled. "Yo, Oikawa. Sup man? Been a long time since I've last seen you. What is this about a mat hunting thing you want to go on?" he asked. A sudden squawk made him jump. "Oh! Meet Ash, the phoenix. He's a bit aggresive to strangers so I'd be careful if I were you." he said, before laughing.

  9. Raeyliff shrugged before sighing. " I don't know. I mean, I guess so. Kayaba is smart, he wouldn't kill a bunch of teenagers for nothing, except if they died in the game. He seems pretty honest. So the question is...is it a good thing to leave this place?" he said, before looking at Alyss. It would confuse many if someone would say that he would rather stay here, but why not? He liked it here, escaping the stress of school and society and not having to be that person in real life that he never really did like. "Your shop sounds good, if you want us to go then that would be fine. Lead the way again, Alyss." he said, smiling.

Raeyliff shrugged " I didn't mean to offend you, but hey, I'm thirsty and a bit hungry myself." he said, grinning. He frowned as he heard her say that she thought of him as the enemy and then he shrugged. "Be suspicious of me if you want but it will lead you nowhere. You could be right about the passive attacks, but I wonder why had it-" Raeyliff was cut off by the strong winds scratching his cheek, giving him a small cut right under his eye. It stung, so he put his hands over it. "Ow...so that's what you guys meant by the passive attacks." he said. "At least I can't be a suspect now, can I? " he asked. Looking forward and on his map, he could see that they were fast approaching this thing in the desert, that looked like a cargo. Is that what the woman wanted us to return with from the quest? This cargo? he thought, before looking up. The sun had already begun to set, it was close to night time. Better to make a fire and camp for the night before heading back.

Raeyliff has been quiet for the past few moments, seeing new players enter and speak and all. He wanted to pay attention to what Baldur and everyone else would say before they would begin to fight. And now here he was, standing in a group of  6 players fighting this Forest Stalker. He grinned as he pulled out his battle-axe and raised it. "Oikawa, thanks for the battle-axe!" he said, before charging. He quickly wasted no time in swinging his battle-axe directly at it, giving it a nice cut on the arm before jumping back. "Ha...man that was scary...too high up, guys...too high up.." he said, before looking at Baldur. "Leader, your turn." he said, grinning.

  12. "I can go back to my shop...but it isn't the best place to go to sleep. Once I can afford to buy a house I'll buy one to rest forever..." he said, laughing. "I would say that we can go to the orphanage, check on the kids, and then just do whatever.." he said, grinning. He honestly had really no good idea on what to do or where to go, so he just would leave it to Alyss to decide where they would go next. Raeyliff looked around before looking at the crowd of players returning to the town as the sun set and the moon rose. "I see..." he said, as he looked up at the moon. It reminded him of his daily walks outside in real life, how he'd always look at the moon and the stars and just not think about anything for the entire time. It was beautiful...

    [Failed +1 EXP]

Raeyliff sighed as he mixed the ingredient with some other mixtures and boiling them in water. The smell was bad and it was getting hot, so he felt as if he was going to fail. Soon enough, he realized he was right. He shrugged. "No matter. I still have a love potion. Thanks for that, Kayaba." he said, grinning, as he opened his windows to bring some air in and sat down on his comfy chair to rest for the day.

    [2 EXP GOOD ITEM SUCCESS]

Raeyliff scratched his head. "Since we're in Valentine's Day...how about I make a love potion? That should throw some people off!" he said, laughing, before getting to work. He put the ingredient carefully with and acid and waited until it dissolved and stirred, then waited for five straight minutes for the heat to cool off from the reaction. After a while, he noticed that the color changed to pink, and that the smoke coming from it was now a pinkish color as well. He raised his hands in the air "SUCCESS, SUCESS!" he yelled, before carefully putting the solution into a test tube and putting a cork over it and setting it aside with the Hair Changing Potion. "That should do it. One more craft today."

    [Failed no salvage]

Raeyliff sighed as he looked at the beaker. "No, there doesn't seem to be anything I can do to that anymore. Too bad too, I was almost thinking it can be used as a stink bomb. No matter. We have 3 new materials left from the quests we did so far, we need to get to work." he said to himself, as he pulled up his materials and began to work.

  16. Raeyliff breathed out as he slept soundly and tried hard to block out Ash's squeaks, but soon was able to do so as he slept soundly. Ash kept rolling in its sleep until it finally rested itself on Raeyliff's head, who didn't move in the slightest. Both slept soundly for about an hour or so after a long day of emotions and leaving hometown and killing enemies and gathering materials and loot in the process. Raeyliff, in the end, was able to complete his quest by making a friend, Ash, and both accepting to be friends and companions in fights for the rest of this game, up until Floor 100. None thought of what would happen afterwards, they only thought about how they enjoyed their time together today, and how they finally accepted each other and what they were going to be doing from here on out together.

    QUEST COMPLETED:

RAEYLIFF GETS 800 COL FROM 2 PAGES

    PHOENIX TAMER TITLE ACQUIRED

    PHOENIX FAMILIAR (ASH) ACQUIRED

RAEYLIFF GETS 165 COL +4 MATERIALS FROM LOOT

    2 SKILL POINTS GAINED

  17. Raeyliff felt a bit hungry so he pulled out some bread and water from his inventory and ate and drank. He used some of the water to wash his face, and instantly felt refreshed. "All right. I now think I can sleep soundly for an hour or so without problems." he said, and closed his eyes to go to sleep. He rested his head on the trunk of the tree and looked forward for a full five minutes before his eyes got heavy and he started to close them for a nice nap. Should I take a nap...? Could I do something else...no. I'm too tired to. I need to go to sleep. he thought, before sleeping soundly with Ash next to him under the shade of the tree, resting after a long day filled with work and fighting and talking.

  18. Raeyliff looked at Ash before looking up at the sky and breathing in deeply and letting a deep breath out. He was tired, he was relaxed. He closed his eyes to rest before he was interrupted by Ash's squeaks. "It makes sounds when sleeping?" he asked in a whisper. Raeyliff leaned on the trunk of the tree and just looked around, seeing players move around and fight boars on the other side of the safe zone. So that's how it's like, to not do anything in this game except sit down and relax. Mind you, it is extremely boring, but I feel relaxed, more relaxed than I've ever been today. I feel much better. he thought. He felt his eyes growing heavy but he was still looking around thinking of what he was missing.

  19. Hohenheim nodded. "Well, don't give up. Come to me for any questions you have, and always write notes on why and how you think you failed. Don't try to act like you'll remember for later on, you won't." he said. "Now, off you go. I'm busy here.." he said, before looking at Ash. Ash had eaten all the meat and was sleeping on the counter. Raeyliff smiled. "Aw...so cute..." he said, before Hohenheim nodded. "Cute, but next time you bring Cute and it eats my lunch you won't be happy." he said. Raeyliff nodded and walked out holding Ash with both hands as it slept soundly and walked back to a garden in the safe zone. "Here we are. We should be alright here...hopefully." he said, sitting down and setting Ash next to him.

  20. Hohenheim shook his head. "Come back later. I'm doing well, it's nice to see you found a friend phoenix. They're very rare, you know? And for you to be an alchemist and to have a phoenix...that is truly a weird mix." he said, inspecting the phoenix. Raeyliff nodded. "Fine, I'll return to continue our discussion. And I know, it wasn't me that stumbled upon it, it was the other way around. I guess that the secret is not to look for it, but for it to look for you." he said. Hohenheim laughed. "Well, my boy. It seems like you've gotten a bit smarter!" he said, before patting Raeyliff on the back. "How's your alchemy going?" he asked. "Well, I'm failing a lot. I've managed to create a potion only once but it has no good use to me." he said, looking down.

  21. Van Hohenheim ran outside the shop and was gasping before seeing Raeyliff. "Raeyliff, is that you? How long has it been? Listen, there's a bird in there and she's eating my lunch!" he told Raeyliff. Raeyliff laughed and put a hand around van Hohenheim. "Calm down. I think I know who that bird is. Ash!" he said, walking in with Hohenheim. Ash looked up at Raeyliff and squawked happily as it tore a piece of the meat for itself and left a part of it for Raeyliff, or Hohenheim to be exact. Hohenheim looked at Raeyliff. "Your phoenix?" he asked. Raeyliff nodded. Hohenheim slapped Raeyliff on the back of the head and Raeyliff yelled in pain before laughing. "Sorry, I'm still training him. How are you, Hohenheim?" he asked.

  22. Ash squawked excitedly as it and Raeyliff ran all the way to a forest that was outside the safe zone. It was safe inside the forest but he wouldn't trust it being absolutely empty of monsters. Raeyliff opened his menu and looked at his map before running after Ash, realizing that this was an empty road. Where is it taking me...? And without anything being said either? he thought, wondering. He heard it squawk once more and followed the voice to a shop he knew too well. "Van Hohenheim. It's been a while." he said to himself, smiling. Van Hohenheim was his teacher who had recently taught him how to perform alchemy, yet he didn't see himself returning to it until after a month or so.

  23. The phoenix set itself on fire, weakly, causing the counter to have some soot an ash on it. Raeyliff jumped and picked it up and away from the counter, before grabbing a rag to wash the part off. "What was that?" he asked it, before laughing. "God...well, let's go and take a breathe, some fresh air. Let's see." he said, as he placed it on his shoulder and walked out, looking around. So many players....not enough room for him and Ash. Ash looked around before flying off to a forest ahead of Raeyliff. Raeyliff, surprised, started looking around before looking at a spark from it up ahead. He started running as fast as he could before yelling. "ASH, HEY ASH, WAIT UP!".

  24. Raeyliff nodded, said goodbye to the old gypsy, and closed the stove before pulling a happy Ash out of it. "Here you are. Now, say goodbye to the old gypsy." he said. Ash looked at the gypsy and squawked as a thanks for letting him use her stove and soon, he and Raeyliff were out of the shop. "Now, where to go...I guess we can go and walk around in my shop for a bit, show you around, maybe see if you can fit in the stove..." he said, before walking to his shop. Entering, he took a deep breath before grinning. "Here we are, then! This should do." he said, letting Ash rest on the counter. Ash looked at Raeyliff for a moment as he sat down and put his battle-axe away and sat on a chair. "So, what do we do...do you want to eat? Sleep?" he asked.

  25. The old gypsy nodded. "Of course. Seeing its love for fire, I sense you might have some trouble. It might be restless, reckless...that's the way they all are. They're cute and fun, I'll give them that, but they're reckless and have a love for adventure. As long as you take him out every day, he'll be happy. And be sure to return to his homeland every once in a while. He won't be the same king he was before, but he'll be happy being there once or twice. It won't always cut it to put him in a stove, you know?" she said, and grinned. Raeyliff nodded. "Of course. By the way, his name is Ash." he said. The old gypsy laughed. "Ash, eh? Fitting." she said. Raeyliff nodded. "Well, I'll be getting some customers soon, so off you go. See you soon!" the old gypsy said.
