    Oske groaned and stepped backwards, and as she did so… a beak pecked into her ankle, going right through her boot. She lifted her leg and waved her arms around, gasping. A large, fat chicken was sitting with its face directed to Oske and eyes relaxed into a content glare. Oske slashed her sword down on its face in reply, and the chicken thing clucked in rage.

    Standing up, Oske leaned forward to another clump of wheat. Testing to see how cold it was, she gently touched the bottom of its stems. It was cool, but not frozen. Oske pulled out the wheat, then examined it. It was... disgusting, in all honestly. The bottoms were dry and crumbling. She poked it to test it, and it shattered into a million little shards. "Godda--...ng it," she quickly corrected herself in case Pepper could somehow hear her. She shook her head at the thought.

  6. Oske winced for impact as the bee went to attack her, lifting up her shield, but the bee missed miserably anyway. She narrowed her eyes, then spun her wrist around to loosen her muscles a little. She then leaped forward, stabbing into the bee's chest. She then twisted her sword slightly to open up a slight gash in its hard exoskeleton. She pulled back, ready for another hit.

  7. Oske was hit rather hard, and she gritted her teeth as Tyger told her to not attack. Perhaps she didn't know that Oske could take care of herself? Either way, she liked that someone cared about her safety. She slashed down again to attack the bee that had just attacked her. She smiled slightly at Tyger, then said, "Don't worry, I can take care of myself. You're welcome to help me and take the loot, but I can take a few hits."

  8. It seemed that Tyger had one of the bees down on it's last limbs. Oske originally had planned to widdle down the life of the bee that Tyger was fighting, as her tactic was usually to gang up on one and deal with the other later. However, both of the bees were attacking Tyger. She needed to give one of them a distraction.

     

    With a slash of her sword, she heard a crack run through the bee’s spine. She then jumped back, ready for a hit.

  9. Oske entered the shop she had been in many times before, opening up her inventory as she entered. "Hi there, Baldur. I've got some good items for you."

     

    She pressed a bunch of buttons, spawning a ton of clothing.

    Now confident in herself, Oske only took a few minutes to breathe on the next clump of wheat. As she exhaled on it, she wondered to herself. Would Ranpu be getting a job as well? Oske would soon  be a cook, and Pepper—an eight year old child—had a job as a tailor. How could Ranpu not? Then again, he was pretty lazy. As she reached forward to the clump, it shattered. Oske grunted angrily.

  11. Finally, after breathing on this one clump of wheat for what seemed to be forever, Oske struck some "gold". The wheat freed items from the ground, and Oske could hear angels singing in a chorus in her mind and the light of heaven glowing on her shoulders. None of this actually happened, of course. She was just very happy that her incompetence finally let her do something for a moment.

  12. Oske stood up, putting her hands on her hips and sighing. She wanted to really get these materials, but it seemed that despite the fact she was IN A FIELD OF CROPS, she wasn't having any luck. She must've been pretty damn unlucky. Oske approached another clump of wheat, only to accidentally step on it and watch it shatter. She ran her fingers through her hair, tugging at it a little. "UGH..."

  13. Oske, a little startled and hurt by Tyger’s words that may or may not have been directed at her, watched as two bees sprung from the nest. She gritted her teeth… stupid bees. She gripped her sword tight and charged at the bee that had already hit Tyger’s shield and damaged itself like an idiot. She swung her sword, slashing a huge gash out of the bee’s back.

     

    “Man, these aren’t as hard as I thought they’d be,†she said with a smile.

  14. Oske approached the next clump of wheat. She leaned down, gently touching the hard as rock soil. She then gently exhaled onto the wheat's... roots? Stems? She honestly knew little about wheat or even if it was called wheat in SAO. She noticed a lot of crops were named different things here than in real life, but the name of baked goods and meals remained the same. She plucked the wheat, and it shattered in her hands. "DANG IT!" she snapped, then quickly lowered her voice.

  15. Oske leaned down to the next clump of wheat. Unsure of how she’d be doing this, she gently touched the roots? Sole? Who cares? of the wheat. They were cold and brittle, ready to snap when pulled. Oske got on her hands and knees, gently leaning toward the bottom and opening her mouth. She exhaled softly to generate hot air onto the wheat. After a little while of waiting, she pulled the wheat free and placed it into her inventory.

  16. Reaching for a clump of wheat, Oske plucked it from the ground and... just like that stupid lettuce a few moment ago, it shattered in her hands. It was literally frozen, and she had to be careful. So, Oske knew exactly what she had to do next. She puffed cold air out of her nose, then got ready to heat up her next clump of wheat with her own breath.

  17. Oske nearly jumped out of her skin. She had barely heard Mari appear, and she didn't think the woman would follow her. She swallowed her guilt and the sweat that would've built up on her temple had she not been relaxed. Oske slowly put her hands up. "It seemed that you were pretty serious about parental bonds, so I didn't think it'd be the best thing to tell you that Pepper here isn't my real kid... in fact, she only just started to recognize me in a mother position." She swallowed again. "In all honesty, I didn't want to look like a complete idiot... not knowing how to take care of a kid."

     

    Oske scratched the back of her head. 

     

    "Well, I guess I look like an idiot anyway. No surprise there." She glanced at Pepper, who was probably cowering in fear at the sight of another player--a PKer, no less. "She's alright, Pepper. This is Mari. She's not a bad person."

  18. On her way over to the field, Oske face-planted. Turns out that tip-toeing while wearing steel-toed boots of sorts was not exactly the wisest choice. Her face met the cold dirt, and she slowly curved her body into a "child pose" to relax for a moment and gather herself. Once she did that, she rose to her feet, walking casually but quietly to the wheat field.

  19. Quickly snatching a piece of lettuce that successfully broke off without becoming destroyed, she quickly placed it in her inventory and looked around the area. There was a farm house in the distance, and just beyond that were... fields of soft flowing wheat, where chickens that had a strange blue hue and a sharp, curved beak roamed. She smiled, then tip-toed her way past the little farm house to rush off into the fields.

  20. Sneaking across the field again, she leaned down and went to pluck another slice of lettuce from the head. Unfortunately, this one was quite cold, brittle, and frozen as well. It had a nice snap to it, but that snap shattered the entire plant--yes, the head, too. Oske jumped back in surprise, stepping on another head of lettuce. She looked around nervously. Hope no one saw that, she laughed in her head with anxiety.

  21. Carefully creeping through the field so not to bother any NPC or whoever owned the farm, she spotted another head of lettuce. Approaching it, she reached down to pluck a piece away, but it snapped and shattered into little shards. While it seemed that this area was warm, some of the plants were still frozen from the frost. Poor things!

  22. Familiar: Kimba

    Species: Jungle Lion

    Size: Large Dog..(maximum size admitted)

    Description: She's a white lion cub with 3 black stripes, that is about the size of a mature St. Bernard dog and has a height of reaching just above Ariel's knees. It understands human speech, at least her tamer's, and has  a pretty lazy personality, but will help its tamer in battle if it gets the chance to land a clear hit or even provide distractions with its "powerful" roar. (powerful as a cub her size can manage)
