Hey guys fun fact after a bit of digging I found out that the Sith code was not only inspired by reversing the Jedi code but also..... (Wait for it)........ Mein Kampf. So I know realized We've basically memorized a paraphrased piece of Nazi ideals.

What is this Mien Kampf you speak of? This Nazi regime? I, son of the great mother land of Germany, know nothing of which you speak! We were not here during that time! We were in Aruba! On Vacation!
Sarcasm aside, It is actually a well known fact George Lucas based the ideals behind the Storm Troopers, the Sith, and alot of other Imperial background off of World War I and World War II Germany, with a slight mix of Soviet era Russia also. The Storm Troopers name itself was named for the Stoßtruppen, Shock Troops, an elite group of infiltrators who's main goal was to go in and cause chaos.
The oratory ability of most Imperials comes from the fact that many German Nazi and even some Russian Soviet military leaders, no matter how heinous of war crimes they committed, were able to rouse and endear many who heard their speeches and were great speakers. Some studied oratory skills, philosophy, poetry, and other forms of oration to help them with this.
The Imperial uniforms are some what reminiscent of the German Nazi uniforms, particularly Air Corp and Naval Corp uniforms for Officers, and even the Storm Trooper uniforms were based on the uniforms worn by shock troops and elite nazi guard.
