  3. Helios went back into his inventory and equipped a second loaf of bread. "Bread, what would I ever do without you?" he asked the food. He took a bite out of the object and began to walk back to the main town on that floor. Well, that was an eventful day. I could have spent it jumping rope with my friends, but instead, I fought myself, a tiger, and a giant parrot. This'll be a story to tell. he thought, laughing to himself. In his mind, he could almost hear the voice of The Gemini saying: "Good job, Helios. You did well.". He honestly wanted to believe it was true. If he wasn't an NPC, they could have been the strongest team in all of Aincrad. He looked ahead of himself and saw Amazon, the main settlement. He walked inside the walls that protected it and smiled. "Looks like i'm done for the day." he chuckled.

Helios - 445 Col, 3 SP (45 Col from Tiger)

  4. Time to end this parrot. For once and for all! he thought as he swung his sword. The giant bird pecked Helios's shoulder at the same time the noirette sliced through the winged beast. The bird exploded the same way the other two mobs he had fought did. "Well, I think it's time to go home" he said, laughing. He pressed the "Okay" button on the notification once again and sat down, yawning. "That was a waste of my time. I didn't even get a drop from that! How unlucky can I get?" he questioned himself, and then smiled. He then realized that he had never finished his bread. "Darn bird! You killed my food!" he shouted. He stood up and wiped the dirt off of himself.

  5. Swiftly, the boy moved out of the way as the bird dived down. He wasn't given time to cut the bird at all, as it quickly moved out of the way and flew up again. Neither of them did damage this time, which was both good and bad. The parrot squawked once again and flapped it's wings in anger. "Come down here ya colourful stinkin' pigeon!" he shouted. That just made the mob angrier. It lunged at him as fast as it could and all Helios did was watch as it dive bombed him. The young male grinned as they glared at each other.

  6. The bird hurriedly and slashed Helios with it's wing, knocking him over, before flying into the atmosphere once again. Helios couldn't get a hit on it this time, which made him a little bit angry. He was down to six health, which put him in a bad situation. If he kept missing his attacks, he'd be done for. He wasn't going to die, not this early in the game. They were only on what, the eleventh floor? His goal was to make it to the one-hundredth floor and help finish the game. How was he supposed to do that if he was dead? He stood up, with fire in his eyes. "Time to end this fight!" he yelled. The bird looked a little bit angrier than it did before. It swooped down, making it's next move. He raised his sword waiting for the right moment to strike.

  7. Helios watched as the bird dove down once more. A second before it hit the ground it pulled up, gliding along the ground. It was coming right for him and he couldn't do much about it. He learned that from experience. After getting hit in the back, he learned that running from a bird the same size as you is not a good idea. He tried to block with his sword, but his actions failed and he was stabbed by the parrots beak. Rapidly, the young male sliced the bird, making him fly off. He grabbed his chest, the spot where he was stabbed, and groaned. "That's a real pain. At least I hit the damn bird again." he muttered, angrily. They were both at the same amount of health and the fight wasn't looking so good. He needed to land another critical hit, or at least make sure the bird missed its shot.

  8. The large bird dived out of the sky, heading straight for Helios. "Why does this always happen to me?" he quietly asked himself. He swiftly ran in the other direction of the bird, hoping to escape, but it was no use. The parrot slammed its beak into the noirette's back, forcing him to fall over. He quickly picked up his sword and stuck the gigantic parrot with the dull edge of it. It squawked and flew upwards, leaving him be for a moment. He needed to think about a plan. No more goofing around. I need to get serious about this, now that i'm quite low on health. he thought, glaring at the monstrosity that the game calls a "Parrot".

  9. The parrot didn't seem to learn it's lesson. It tried the same attack again, and once again missed. Helios had started to expect that attack, which could either be good or bad on his behalf. If he was to jump out of the way when he thought the bird was going to swoop down, it might turn and hit him, expecting him to move out of the way. Of course, the bird might not be smart enough to do that, and it might miss again and again until the young man defeated it. Helios decided to try chasing it while it was low enough to the ground and hitting it with his sword. He sprinted towards the bird like an idiot and swung at it. Just as he thought, the parrot flew up instead of stopping for the boy to kill it. He sighed and stopped running, as he looked up, curious to what his opponent would do next.

  10. Once again, the bird swooped down, gliding through the air, and attempted to claw him again. This time, Helios saw it coming and easily dodged the attack. The parrot looked angry, which he'd thought he'd never have to see. Angry parrots can be the most horrifying thing you have ever seen. Nightmares can be made from those demonic creatures. He attempted to stab the monster, which was kind of stupid due to scimitars being slashing weapons, but completely missed his target. "Well, looks like this won't be an easy fight. Stupid bird, don't you know I can't fly!" He exclaimed, hoping the bird would fly down so he could hit it.

  11. The parrot swiftly swooped down at Helios, trying to grab him with it's claws. He moved out of the way just in time as the large bird swooped by, just barely scratching him. It was fast, much faster than the tiger. Before the bird could fly back up, the noirette slashed it's back, damaging it slightly. He was centimeters away from missing it, but he was lucky enough to hit it with the help of his new skill. The parrot flew back up to the sky, where Helios couldn't hit it and made a screeching sound. It was actually a little bit terrifying, looking at the winged giant up close. It was almost the size of Helios and it looked like it could rip him apart in seconds.

  12. After strolling through the jungle for a while, he came across a large pool of water. It was kind of like a lake, but a little bit too small to be compared to that. He sat down by the water and opened his inventory. "Might as well eat something." he smiled, equipping a small loaf of bread. He took a bite out of the loaf and watched the water. In the water, there was a large, dark spot that seemed to be circling him. Helios looked up to see if there were any shadows that could have made it, and saw a big bird. "Already? Are you kidding me?" he groaned. From what he knew about birds, which was next to nothing, it was an parrot and it wanted to eat him. The weirdest part was, it was a lot bigger than any parrots he'd seen in the real world and normally they don't want to eat you. Normally. He noticed that he was still in the jungle. "Why is there a parrot that big!?" he shouted, trying to figure out what Kayaba was thinking when he made SAO. It was probably something along the lines of: "Hey, guys, I just thought of something! Let's put giant parrots in a jungle so they can fight Helios!".

  13. Without warning the large tiger pounced on it's prey. It managed to land a powerful hit by clawing Helios. The over-sized cat had the black-haired young man pinned down. The boy closed his eyes as the tiger roared in his face, forcing him to smell it's terrible breath. "That's disgusting. Alright, it's time to end this!" he shouted, impaling the tiger through the heart, killing it. He watched as it exploded into shiny pieces, like The Gemini did earlier. He laid there, tired of fighting monsters, and yawned. A pop-up opened, signaling his victory. "Well, looks like I leveled up. A little bit of Col too." he mumbled, pressing the "Okay" button. He got up and wandered through the jungle some more.

  14. The tiger rushed Helios head on and, of course, it missed once again. Helios had easily gotten out of the way of it's attack. It's either I've gotten really good, or this tiger is just really, really bad. At this point, he decided he was going to win anyway, and tried something stupid. Helios sprinted towards the man-eating beast head on, the same way it did to him. Unfortunately, he ended up slipping on the ground, that was for some reason wet, and flew head first over the tiger. The computer generated animal looked up at the same time the noirette looked down. Before he gotten eaten by the tiger, he safely made his landing and rolled out of the way. "Well, that was close. Never doing that again." he laughed, scratching the back of his head.

  15. The tiger's reflexes didn't seem to be as good as Helios's. The black-haired boy jumped up and sliced the beast once more. He was lucky he'd activated his new found skill, because if he didn't, he would've missed. The tiger roared in what looked like pain, but could have easily been anger as well. The animal sprinted towards Helios and attempted to bite him, but had completely missed due to it's lack of stamina. "This is too easy." he chuckled, waiting for the tiger to attack. Helios wanted to see if his opponent could land a single hit on him, so he studied it carefully, watching it's every move.

  16. The tiger hastily attempted to pounce on the boy, but with his luck, he managed to get out of the way. He sprinted towards the beast and slashed it, getting a critical hit off the start. He grinned leaping away from the animal. The tiger wasn't an exceptionally powerful mob, so Helios felt like he had a good chance against it. He laughed at the tiger. "Is that all you've got, beast?" he grinned. He could end it any minute, if he was lucky enough to get another critical strike. Opening his skills menu, he quickly turned on his new <<Concentration>> skill. Then, he rushed the wild animal, strafing it in a zigzag pattern Get ready, tiger. I'm about to win!

  17. If you've never sat underneath a pile of snow before, it's not the comfiest position to be in. Helios sighed as he attempted to dig himself out from under the snow. The only body part sticking out was his head, lucky enough for him, so he could still yell for help. He looked around to see if he could find anyone but some snow was blocking his vision, so it was hard to tell. "Anybody want to help me out!?" he shouted. After yelling that, some more snow landed on him. He was starting to get cold and wet, and that lead to him being unhappy. He sighed and leaned his head back in the snow. Eventually, he got so bored of sitting there, he started talking to the snow. "Well snow, this is what you've done to me. Looks like i'm going to die here. What a drag." he sighed, sounding disinterested. Out of nowhere, a squirrel quickly ran up the snow and sat there, staring at the noirette. "Well, at least I've got you, squirrel. We can die here together." he muttered. The squirrel stood still for a second before swiftly climbing on top of the boy's head.

  18. He arrived at the entrance of the temple and walked down the stairs. Swiftly, he stopped, hearing something coming from a bush in front of him. All of the sudden, he realized what it was. "God dammit... I thought I got away from you." he muttered, sighing. He quickly pulled out his curved sword and got ready as the tiger walked out from behind the bush. "Well. We meet again, tiger." he said proudly. He was fairly low on HP, but the tiger still had less than him, so he thought he'd be okay. He pointed the sword at the wild animal and grinned. "Come at me, beast!" he shouted at the tiger, hoping to scare it. The mob was completely unaffected by his shouting and roared back at him, looking quite angry.

  19. "Time to end this!" he shouted, as he lunged towards his artificial clone. The Gemini looked at him and smiled, almost as if he was saying it was a good fight. Helios slashed the copy and watched as it shattered into a million pieces. He sheathed his sword and nodded. "It was a good fight, wasn't it, Gemini?" he chuckled. He looked in his skills list and noticed a new skill had been added. "Concentration..." he mumbled. He walked towards the door he had came through and began to leave the ancient building. That was certainly an interesting duel. I just fought against myself. he thought, scratching the back of his head.

  20. Helios smiled as a snowflake carefully landed on his face. He was lying down in the snow outside of Snowfrost Town and watching as the cold snow hit the ground. The fourth floor was his favorite out of all of them. He loved the pretty scenery, and it wasn't just the girls, it was the buildings too. But his biggest reason for coming there was the snow. In the real world, he loved winter and snow, so it would make sense that he'd love it in SAO too. Spending most of his time on that floor, he had eventually found a comfortable spot on a hill under some trees. From his position, he could see most of the town. He found it entertaining to watch all of the tiny people beneath him hang out. Although he only had a scarf and no other warm clothes, Helios never found it extremely cold. This was most likely due to how often he came to the floor. He had almost fallen asleep before he heard something above him. He looked up and watched as a pile of snow came falling out of a tree, landing on him. "Well, that's just great!" he exclaimed.

  21. All Helios could do was laugh. "You think you can kill me? I'm the great Helios!" he chuckled, not trying to stand up. He was aware that he wasn't a very strong player, but he said it anyway. Swiftly, he pounced on The Gemini and slashed his chest. The noirette grinned as he watched his clone tumble over in pain. Or at least some pain, as it was reduced when the game was released. The Gemini got back on his feet and laughed. "I'm not done yet!" he grinned. Helios and The Gemini were so much alike, and it wasn't because one was a clone of the other. Neither of them gave up, even though one was computer generated. It felt like he was dueling a real player.

  22. He watched as the dragon exploded into thousands of particles. He listened to what Oikawa had to say and nodded, sheathing his sword. "Yes, I completely understand." he said to the blonde. He took the col, although he didn't see any reason for doing so. Turning around, he shot him a piece sign before walking back to Delilah Village. "I'll see you around, Oikawa." he managed a smile, although he wasn't particularly happy with his failure. I'm not going to give up. I'll keep fighting until I get stronger.

  23. (Welp, i'm killing the dice gods after this.)

Helios slowly stood up and sighed. The fight was not at all going the way he planned. He wondered if Oikawa was going to keep the fight going or if he was going to step in and kill the dragon for him. I would kill him if he did that. he thought. This time, the black haired boy didn't even bother trying to hit him. His stamina was reduced by quite a lot from the previous blow and he was scared to see what would happen if he missed again. His eyes shifted towards the mob, which was hovering above the ground, and he sighed. Maybe my first hit was just really lucky... or maybe i'm just out of it right now. Quickly, the boy came up with a plan that just might help him win the fight, although it would include taking another hit from the reptile.
