  1. Helios accepted the dragon's request. He was going to out-skill the monster. He rushed the dragon with full force, hoping he'd get a hit on it. Instead, the dragon decided to move out of the way. It swiftly attempted to slam him to the ground, but it was sloppy enough for to Helios evade the attack. He chuckled at the dragon, who did not look pleased. I may not have hit it, but I did dodge his attack. At least I know I can do that... he thought, deciding his next move. He readied his sword once again and the dragon focused on him. It stared at him with its angry eyes, like it was staring into his soul or something. The thought of it kind of scared him, but he didn't let it get to him. He needed to stay focus to get the scale.

  2. He tried to lift his sword, but the dragon quickly pushed his hand up against the wall, making him drop it.  The dragon lifted his hand and sliced his arm. After that it decided to drop him and walk back. It seemed that he was allowing Helios to attack it back. He had lost a little bit of extra health from the drop, but he still believed he could kill the dragon. He reminded himself about the health potion he bought before leaving Urbus. I'm going to have to use that later... Or possibly soon... he thought.

  3. "I'm not losing to you, dragon!" he said as he charged it, this time thinking a lot clearer. Getting knocked to the ground a few times really helped him. Well, other than losing his health that is. He slammed into the dragon and stabbed it with his sword, knocking it over. I just did that... he thought as he pulled the sword out of the dragon's stomach. He grinned as the dragon got back up. It charged at him, bashing him up against the wall of the cave. It held him there, waiting to attack him again. It seemed like he was deciding what to do or something. If he didn't escape his grasp, there was a high chance he wouldn't survive.

  4. Helios had to be fast if he was going to attack it without being attacked back. He stood up and ran towards the dragon. The dragon instantly pushed him away, knocking him to the ground. Even for a small dragon, it was still pretty tough to kill. It's too fast... If only this scimitar was made from a speed type metal... he thought. He was starting to get a little bit scared. These dragons did not have much health, but they were fast. He could barely even get a hit on them! Helios once again stood back up getting ready to attack it again.

  5. Helios swiftly stood back up and readied his sword before the dragon could attack him again. He swung his sword at the monster, but it didn't even try and dodge. Instead, they both slashed each other at the same time. He flinched, stepping back a few steps. "I knew this would be hard, but I didn't expect this... I have to kill two of these!" he exclaimed. His health once again dropped a little bit lower. The dragon looked at him, calm and ready for the next attack. Helios calmed down. He tried to predict the dragon's movement by watching it. I'm going to get this sword... No matter what it takes... he thought.

  6. Helios stopped by a shop to quickly pick up a health potion. "I'm  going to need at least one of these if I'm going to kill 3 dragons." he mumbled. He then left Urbus and headed for the mountain that Sai spoke of. The second floor was actually quite nice. He had always liked climbing trees, so a forest was perfect for him. He had walked through two forests before finally making it to the mountain. Of course, he would have been faster, but he took a nap in a tree somewhere in between. "I really wish I had bought a teleport crystal..." he sighed. He walked into the cave in the side of the mountain and drew his scimitar. "Alright, so I need to kill three of these dragons." he muttered. The dragons didn't have much health, so Helios was lucky. He charged towards one of them but it evaded his attack and scratched him. They're fast... he thought as he landed on the hard ground.

  7. Sai was awfully generous, saying that he didn't need to pay. He didn't mind collecting the materials for her, since he knew he wasn't getting scammed. She was nice, for an NPC. Helios almost thought she was human. He didn't care if she was human or AI though. She was friendly either way. "Yup! I can do all of that for you. Now, for the materials... Lets see..." she responded. He was really hoping he wouldn't have to go anywhere higher than the 4th floor. Even that seemed a little bit high for his level. "The materials can actually be found on this floor. There's a dungeon on one of these mountains. Inside, there are dragons. I need you to kill two of them for me. They will drop a material called a "Dragon Scale". Bring them back to me and i'll make you your sword." she smiled. Helios was determined to get this sword, no matter what he had to go through. He nodded to show that he was going to bring back the items and he waved as he left the blacksmith.

  8. "Of course! I'll make any weapon that you have in mind. Now, what about the details?" she said as she pulled up an order menu. Helios had to put some thought into this. Picking out details for things had always been hard for him. After thinking about it for a minute he decided what his sword would look like. "If it's possible, I'm thinking a katana made from some sort of speed type material. For the colors, I'd like the blade to be silver. As for the hilt and sheath, black with gold threading." he said politely.

    Material Type: Speed
    Sword Type: Katana

Color: Silver blade, crimson sheath and hilt with gold threading.

  9. Helios had arrived in Urbus after fighting boars outside of the town. After grinding monsters for a little while he decided that a new sword was necessary for him to get stronger. "If I want to become a known player in SAO then i'm going to need a new weapon." he mumbled. After talking to a few people, he found a small blacksmith that sold weapons for fairly cheap. He entered the blacksmith and an NPC came out of the back room. She was a lot shorter than he was and she was kind of cute. Come on Helios, shes an NPC! Get it together man! He blushed slightly and then quickly snapped back to reality. "Hey player! Welcome to Sai's Blacksmith! I presume you're looking for a weapon?" the NPC asked as Helios walked in. He walked up to the counter and looked at some of the swords. "Yes, actually I am. Do you make custom orders?" he asked her, hoping he could get a custom weapon. The weapons that she had made did look great, but they didn't fit his taste. "Yes custom orders are definitely possible. The sword is also free! All you have to do is collect the materials for me. Any kind of sword you're looking for?" she replied. He looked down at his scimitar that was fastened to his belt. Maybe I could go for that Katana skill... he thought. The Katana skill needed 3 points in One Handed Curved Sword. He was pretty certain he could do it. "How about a katana? Would you be okay with making that?" he asked the NPC girl.

  10. Helios chuckled. "Alright, it's your choice to sit or stand." he said, as he leaned back against the bench. "So, do you have a girlfriend? Is that why you were alone up here? You were waiting for her, weren't you." he snickered. He was sure he'd get a reaction out of this. The High Fields of Crossing was in fact a spot that couples used for dates, so asking seemed to fit. He was a little bit scared that he'd get stabbed after asking that but whatever, it's worth it. Rusty had his goal of getting settled in on every floor, and Helios had his goal of starting a conversation that lasted. He was sure this would start it. I am a genious. There's no way this won't work! He grinned.

  11. Helios awoke immediately after Rusty shook him. "Oh it's you." he said, yawning. He felt kind of bad for leaving him, especially since he seemed like a nice guy. "Sorry for bailing on you earlier." he chuckled. He looked at the boy and decided apologizing was the best way to make himself feel better. "You can sit here if you want to." he smiled. He noticed the Rusty wasn't holding his book anymore. Guess he looks away from it after all. He grinned at the thought. "I hope I didn't upset you by leaving." he sighed. Helios didn't actually have any friends in SAO. He was surprised that the boy went looking for him, and he was happy. Maybe we could be friends... Yeah, that would be nice... he thought.

  12. Assuming something had happened to him in real life, Helios decided to stay quiet and let Rusty read his book. "Sorry for asking that. I should get going." he said to Rusty, nervously. He scratched the back of his head as he stood up and slowly walked away. Of course, he didn't really have anywhere else to go. He ended up taking a seat on a bench near the exit of the Fields of Crossing. "Well that was rough..." he mumbled to himself quietly. On the inside, he kind of felt bad for asking him about his life outside of SAO. Helios sighed as he leaned back against the bench and closed his eyes. He had gotten somewhat tired after everything. I guess it wouldn't hurt if I slept for a little while.

  13. "That's a interesting goal. Maybe i'll do that too." he replied. Rusty actually seemed nice, behind his sarcasm. He was actually starting to enjoy talking to him, since it sounded to him like he had a sense of humor. "So, do you miss the real world? If you don't mind me asking." he asked. Helios knew that you weren't supposed to talk about real life stuff in game but still, he needed something to say. He wasn't sure how Rusty would respond to it however, he decided to ask anyway. Helios' messy blonde hair blew slightly in the wind as he looked out at the other mountains. "Hey, how much of the floor have you seen?" he asked, quite interested. He was looking for enjoyable places to explore, of course. Maybe he knows about places that I could go hunting. I do need some more XP... he thought.

  14. Helios grinned at his answer. "It might not of rained here, but it could have rained in the real world." he replied. He is going to be hard to talk to... he thought, sighing. He didn't mind trying to talk to Rusty though. He didn't have anything else to do anyway. It also took his mind off of all the couples and he stopped worrying about looking stupid. "You know, you're really hard to start a conversation with." he laughed. He couldn't think of anything to say to Rusty. Maybe i'll get lucky and he'll start the conversation... No, that probably won't happen. He sighed again at the thought of it. "So, have you been on the second floor for a while?" he asked curiously. Helios had just gotten to the second floor, so he was quite curious about it.

  15. Helios looked at the book that Rusty was holding curiously. "What're you reading? It must be good since you haven't looked away from it." he chuckled. Rusty seemed somewhat anti-social to him, but he didn't mind. He couldn't really get annoyed because of the fact that he hadn't spoken to many people in Aincrad. Of course, they had only just met. It's not like he knew if he was anti-social or anything. A few minutes afterwards, he decided that it was his duty to start a conversation! "So, uh, nice weather we're having." he said awkwardly. I'm a complete idiot... well, whatever! he thought. Helios was never great at starting conversations, but he tried. Well, sometimes anyway. This was not one of those times though. He looked at Rusty, hoping the conversation wouldn't get awkward.

  16. After wandering around the field for a while, Helios had discovered a boy sitting under some trees. He chuckled as the boy sneezed. He walked over to the boy and smiled. "Guess I'm not the only one who's alone after all." he said. The boy looked like he was fairly comfortable under the tree's shade and it made him want to sit down. "Mind if I sit down here?" he said, smiling. "My name's Helios. What's yours?" he asked curiously. The boy was holding a book and the page he was flipped to looked rather interesting. Helios leaned up against a tree and looked at all of the flowers. "I heard you sneeze earlier. Is that why you're sitting away from the flowers?" he asked, chuckling. The boy seemed nice, so he wouldn't mind sitting with him for a little while.

  17. Helios had just arrived at the second floor a few hours ago and he wasn't sure what to do. After overhearing two people talking about a place called "The High Fields of Crossing", he decided to have a look at it. The first things he saw when he arrived were the flowers. They were beautiful! He walked around the field looking at all the flowers and other plants and smiled. "The first floor had nothing like this." he said quietly to himself. Quickly, he looked up, realizing all of the people around him were couples. He sat down on a bench that was beside him and blushed. I probably look pretty stupid, since i'm by myself up here... he thought. This was the first time Helios had even thought about relationships in SAO. He looked around end didn't see anyone alone. "There must be someone in my position." he muttered, getting up from the bench. He decided to look around and find someone that was by themselves. That way, he wouldn't look completely stupid if he was alone! At least, that's what he hoped. "I really need to make some friends." he sighed.

  18. Helios had been wandering around the plains of the first floor, extremely bored. He walked up a small hill to take a nap and found someone at the bottom fighting a boar. He looked down at him and chuckled. For some reason, he thought it would be a good idea to sneak up on him and scare him. Stealthily, he walked down the hill, hoping he wouldn't be noticed. The first thing he noticed was the sword. He really liked it, although he wasn't a fan of curved swords. His short-sword was good enough for him anyway. Right as he was about to scare him, he tripped over a small rock and landed on the boy. Quickly, Helios got off of him and chuckled. "Sorry man!" he said, dusting himself off. He looked at the boar, that was getting ready to charge at the two of them. "I'll let you deal with that!" he laughed.

  19. Helios ran past all boars and wolves running away from the source of the heat. What could be creating so much heat that the monsters were fleeing? Finally reaching the egg, he ducked behind a tree and watched as it began to glow. He was both nervous and excited to find out what was inside the egg. He was sure it was the monster and he was going to tame it. As he watched, he heard something behind him coming from a bush. He quickly turned around to see what it was. Slowly, he walked over to the bush and raised his sword. All of the sudden a rabbit jumped out of the bush, scaring Helios and making him fall over. The rabbit hopped away with the other monsters. He laughed at the fact that it was only a rabbit that he was scared of. He looked back at the egg, curiously. The animals must be pretty scared of that egg... I wonder what's inside it... he thought. He got back up and started walking over to him. He didn't intend to do it but, it was like his body was being controlled by the egg or something. He reached out to the egg and lightly touched it. It glowed brighter than it had earlier, making Helios close his eyes. It was so bright that it lit up the whole forest.  When he was able to open his eyes again the egg had a crack in it. It started cracking again, and after a few cracks it hatched. The second it hatched, he was surrounded in flames. The flames were in almost every color you could imagine. In front of him, there was a small red bird sitting on the pedestal. The monster... he thought, as they looked at each other.

  20. Helios woke up by falling out of the tree. Yes, he fell out of it. "Next time i'll tie myself onto the tree..." he said quietly. He scratched his head and then walked further into the forest. Well, I guess the wolves decided to leave me alone... he thought. He unsheathed his sword as a precaution and wandered around the forest. He looked around for something that he recognized but saw nothing. "Where the hell am I!?" he eventually yelled. Helios was lost and he had no idea where he was or how he could get out. The bad thing was, it was a lot colder than it was when he first found the egg. It felt like he was being burned the first time around. This time, it was just like how it was any other day! He sat down and sighed. What am I going to do... he thought. It was at that moment that he felt it. A wave of heat passed him swiftly. He was surprised. He had never felt anything that hot before. Standing up, he drew his sword and ran towards the source of the heat.

  21. Helios grinned at Sayre and raised his sword. "Getting injured just got me even more fired up" he chuckled. He charged at the boar, which hadn't even noticed him running towards it. Stupid boar! he thought. Just as he was about to swing his sword, he tripped over a large rock that had been right in front of the boar and flew over it. The boar looked up just as he looked down at it and he landed in the dirt. It took him a moment to realize what had happened, but a few seconds later, he started laughing. "That was pretty smooth! Alright Sayre, You can have the kill!" he chuckled slightly.

  22. Looking at the forest, Helios realized something. He didn't remember where the egg was! "I'm an idiot..." he muttered. "Time to go find it again." he said chuckling. He walked through the forest, even more paranoid than he was before. At any moment a monster could jump out at him. It was too close fighting that boar... he sighed. He got tired of searching for the egg and sat down beside a tree. He took some bread out of his inventory and took a bite out of it. It was also quite hot in the forest, so he drank some water to cool off. As he got up, he saw something in the distance. It was grey with red eyes and it didn't look like something he would want to mess with, especially not with his health this low. He ducked behind a tree before the monster saw him. He looked closer at it and noticed that it was a wolf. Then, he saw a few more around it. He sighed quietly and in panic started climbing the tree. The tree was huge! He got about half way before stopping to rest. He bit into the soft bread and looked back down at the wolves, who had not noticed him. He leaned up against the tree and closed his eyes, slowly falling asleep. After all, he did enjoy sleeping in a tree!

  23. Helios walked out of a shop close to the exit of the Town of Beginnings. He had bought a health potion for 10 col from the NPC selling them, even though he felt like he was getting ripped off. Whatever, he thought, I need it. He walked outside the gate at the forest and chuckled. "I'm going to tame that monster..." he muttered. The gypsy looked at him and laughed. "Are you going to go, or do you give up?" she said laughing. "No, I'm not giving up. I'm taming the monster, no matter what it takes." he said, as he walked out of the town. He started running about half way to the forest. It was both exciting and scary for Helios, as he had the chance of dying if he couldn't tame whatever was inside the egg. He stood outside the forest and took the Health potion out of his inventory. "Time to go back in..."
