  1. (Sorry for how long i've taken! I've been busy ;-; )

    Helios chuckled. "Good job. Now watch the master!" He lunged at the boar and swung his sword. It cut right threw the beast, making it incredibly angry. The boar got up and charged at him. It slashed him with it's tusk and knocked him over into the grass. He got up chuckling. "I meant to do that, by the way." he said smiling, and then he turned his haid to Sayre. "Go ahead." Helios realized that he had never actually fought a boar. He was surprised he did so much damage to it, since it was his first time. He looked over to Sayre who looked like he was ready to attack the monster.

    (Pretty sure we both had that health. lol)

  2. The egg was a beautiful red color with some white on it. Beside the pedestal there were two braziers with small fires lit in them. He felt the heat, not just from the fire, but from the egg too. What could be inside that... he thought to himself. He went to touch it, but then realized how low his health was. He sat down beside a bush and looked at the egg curiously. His stomach grumbled. How did I forget lunch!? he thought. He opened his inventory, surprised to see that he still had some bread and water left. Before he could equip the food he heard something coming from a bush ahead of him. He looked at the bush and a pair of red eyes appeared. He got up and slowly moved backwards. He was too low to fight this monster, whatever it was. When he got far enough away from it he started to sprint. He ran so far he ended up back on the outside of the forest. He sighed and looked back at the starter city. "I need to heal up..." he muttered, disappointingly. He sheathed his sword and walked back to the Town of Beginnings, feeling annoyed.

  3. Standing up once again, Helios looked around. Maybe he could just run away. No, that wasn't an option. He needed to stay and fight the boar. He was tired at this point. Just one more hit and the boar would die. He was so close to killing it, it was driving him insane. He calmed down and both him and the boar charged at each other. Helios slashed the monster with his sword, but at the same time, the monster slashed him with it's tusk. His health dropped even lower. He turned around and the boar shattered. He sat down and an alert popped up. He looked at it and chuckled. "I went through all of that for twenty Col." he said, laughing quietly. "Well, at least I gained a level." he said as he stood up.

    He walked deeper into the forest and for some reason, it got hotter. The further he went, the hotter it got. Maybe it's a sign that i'm getting closer... he thought. He went through a bush and saw something sitting on a pedestal. "It's... an egg?" he whispered.

  4. Helios wanted to get to the middle of the forest as fast as he could. This time, he charged at the boar and attempted to slash it. Once he did it, he knew it was stupid. He had no control at all. When he brought down his sword, the boar jumped out of the way and slammed into his chest, knocking him over. He stood up, he was starting to get lower on health. He needed to finish this.

    Helios looked at the monster straight in the eyes. He was not going to be stopped by it. He needed to tame the monster at the center of the forest. The boar ran towards him and he stood still, ready for whatever was thrown at him. He exhaled and moved out of the way. The boar ran right past him, giving him an opportunity to hit it. He slashed the boar's back, confidently. He could kill the weakest monster in the game. He chuckled as the boar got back up again. "Stupid monster... Just die already." he grinned.

  6. "G-girlfriend!?" he blushed. He thought about it and laughed. "Anyway, yeah, I'll level up with you." he smiled, taking Sayre's hand. He knew that soloing boars was not a good idea at such a low level. He looked at all the boars running around the field. He looked back at Sayre and chuckled. "Ready?" he asked him, grinning. To get the boar's attention, Helios picked up a rock and threw it at the monster. The boar turned around and walked up to the two of them, looking angry. He chuckled. "After you." he said politely, laughing slightly. Sayre's sword didn't actually look to bad. They both still had starter weapons, but they were low levels. When he got to a higher level, Helios would get a new, better weapon.

  7. Charging at the boar, he lifted his sword. He wasn't going to be stopped by something as weak as it. He swung his short sword and...

    ...he slashed the monster's back. The boar screeched in pain and fell to the ground. Helios was feeling tired of this. He needed to hit the boar again, this time planning his attack out better. He didn't want to risk missing and getting hit by the boar. The boar got up and looked like it was angrier than it was before. It charged at him and he just jumped out of the way in time. He raised his sword, waiting for another attack from the boar. This time he had it all planned out, and he was going to defeat it. Killing boars at a low level was harder than he could have imagined!

  8. (OOC: Olympia is validating so I guess we can just say she had to go or something. lol I don't want to abruptly stop this :P)

    Helios looked at Olympia and said goodbye to her. She had said that she had something important to do and had to leave. He waved to her as she left and smiled. After she left he looked at Sayre. "So, you wanted to gain some levels?" he asked, grinning at the boy. He opened his inventory and looked for his sword. Helios equipped the weapon and waited for a response. He looked at the boars, wandering around the field. It looked like they were just waiting to get slaughtered. Although he was new to SAO, Helios had played a lot of MMORPGs in the past. He knew how to stay alive when fighting monsters, or try to stay alive at least. He stood up and stretched before unsheathing his sword. "If you want to gain some levels your best option, other than quests, is farming." he told Sayre.

  9. A boar jumps out of the bush scares him half to death! Helios got his sword ready and waiting for an attack from the monster. "So... are you going to attack or what?" he asked, even though he knew the boar couldn't say anything back. He decided to charge at the boar instead of just waiting for it to attack. "Alright boar! Die!" he yelled at the boar.

    Helios attacked the boar but it dodged just in time. The monster headbutted him in the chest and knocked him over. "I should have practiced this more..." he muttered. He didn't know what he would do if he were to die from a boar. Well, he wouldn't do anything because he would be dead, but you know what I mean. The boar was the weakest monster in the game. He would feel disgraced to die to one. He got back up and got ready to attack again. "I'll get you this time boar!" he said as he got ready to attack it again.

  10. From what the gypsy had told him, the forest was not very far away. In fact, he could see it from the gate of the Starter City. He walked in the direction of the forest and thought about what could be in there. What was the monster she spoke of? The NPC never told him what kind of mob it was. It could be anything! He hoped it was something cool and not a lame boar. He laughed at the thought of having a boar as a companion. Helios arrived at the forest that the gypsy told him to go to and looked inside it. He expected to be dark but it was actually quite bright inside. He walked through the bushes and entered the forest. The sounds of monsters echoed throughout the forest and he became a little nervous.

    What if I'm not able to tame the monster? What if I die...? he thought to himself. He equipped his short sword just to make sure he was ready if something attacked him. He soon began to be paranoid; he'd jump at every sudden noise or movement. The deeper he went into the forest, the brighter it got. Almost as if there was a fire in the middle of it and it was spreading. He stopped at the sound of a bush shaking. At first he thought it was the wind, but no, it couldn't be. He slowly turned around and raised his sword. "Please tell me there isn't anything there..." he whispered quietly.

  11. Helios looked at Olympia and nodded. "Yup, boars are a great way to farm XP. Don't do it alone though." he told Sayre. He didn't want him to die, especially this early into the game. "If you ever want some help with farming just call me." he smiled. He actually hadn't done much hunting himself, so he wasn't great at it. It felt nice to offer his help though. Helios found it kind of funny that Sayre's first choice of game was an VRMMO like SAO. He really did not expect that he would find someone new to video games. "So do you want to play cards with us?" he asked, cheerfully welcoming him into the group. He was surprised how many new friends he had met since he joined. "What game did you say you were going to teach me?" he asked Olympia.

  12. Helios was sitting on a bench in the Town of Beginnings relaxing. He had just gotten back from farming XP from boars and was extremely bored. He spotted an NPC that he had never seen here before. She was standing by the gate and looked like… a gypsy maybe? He curiously walked over to the NPC and started talking to her. She talked about a monster in a forest. If you feed this monster, it is said that it can be tamed.

    He grinned and happily accepted the quest. His first step in completing the quest was to get food for the monster. His first thought was apples. Who doesn’t like apples? he thought. The gypsy was selling food so he bought an apple. He thought about buying a second apple for himself, but decided he still had some bread and didn't want to waste col. Helios put the apple in his inventory and left the Starter City to begin his adventure. He was going to tame this monster, no matter what it took.

  13. "Oh okay. Bye X!" he said to him as he walked away towards the city. Helios looked back at Olympia, who asked if he wanted to play cards. "I've never really played much cards, but I think I have an idea on how to play." he said to the pinkette. He only ever played cards when he went camping with his family, so he wasn't exactly an expert at it. Thinking about playing cards with his family brought back memories. Helios hadn't seen his brother in a long time. He missed him. Maybe i'll see him again soon... He thought to himself. When he snapped out of his daydream he realized Olympia was handing out the cards. "So what are we playing?" he asked her. Helios noticed someone else approaching them. "Hey! Yes we are new." he said to the boy. "I'm Helios and this is Olympia. What's your name?" he asked, smiling at him.

  14. Helios laughed a little. It was nice to hear a song from the real world. He clapped for the two of them. "That was great!" he said laughing, "I guess you guys really are the best performers in Aincrad!". He smiled at the them and then looked at the piece of bread in his hand. It was small, but enough for X and Maruchan to share. He smiled and handed the bread to X. "Thanks for the performance." he said with a grin. He looked over at Olympia, who was enjoying the bread, and sat back down. He leaned against the trunk of the tree. "So", he said cheerfully, "What do you guys want to do?". He looked around curiously looking for something they could do. He didn't see a lot, so he waited to hear what they wanted to do. He smiled and looked back at them. It was nice to have someone to talk to...

  15. He looked at X and chuckled. "Nice to meet you X and Olympia." he said, still chuckling. He was amazed at how well he could balance on the cutlass. "Play anything you want." he told X, who had his guitar in his hands, ready to be played. Helios leaned back against the trunk. He opened his inventory and equipped a piece of bread to eat well enjoying the show. He split it in two and smiled. "Want some?" he asked Olympia. He looked over to X waiting for him to start. He grinned cheerfully as he started playing the guitar. "So", he said to X, "You two are the most famous performers in all of Aincrad?". He laughed slightly, not completely believing him.

  16. Helios woke up after Maruchan licked his face. "Hey", he said laughing. He looked at the boy who looked like he was around his age and then looked over to the pretty girl leaning on the trunk of the tree and smiled at them. "I'm Helios. What're your names?" he said as he climbed out of the tree. He didn't know that players came over here so he was surprised to see them. He was happy that he had people to talk to. He looked at the familiar sitting on the boy's shoulder. "That's a cool familiar." he said to the boy, "What kind of dog is he?"

    Helios sat down next to them. He was glad that there were friendly players in this game, and not all PKers. He looked above their heads to make sure they weren't PKers before talking to them to much. He was glad to see a green cursor above both of them. Maybe, he thought, I could be friends with these two!

  17. Helios was sitting leaned up against a tree near the Town of Beginnings enjoying the warm weather. He had only recently came into SAO and, other than the "die in the game, die in real life" thing, it was a really nice place to be in. He looked up at the clouds and smiled briefly. "This floor is so peaceful." He muttered to himself quietly. Helios was thankful he got out of that loud town. He wasn't exactly fond of packed places, so sitting away from it was nice. He then felt extremely lonely, realizing that he hadn't met anyone in the game yet. He looked around to see if anyone was around but couldn't see anyone. He decided to climb the tree and take a nap in it. He grabbed onto a branch and started pulling himself up. He sat down on the highest branch in the tree and leaned up against the tree. He looked at the Town of Beginnings for a minute and smiled before closing his eyes and falling asleep. Maybe he could find a friend when he woke up.

    <ABOUT>
    Isaac Marello had always been fond of video games, his favorites being MMORPGs. He loved the adventurous feel they had to them and the creativity you had over your character. He was 13 years old when he began playing them, sometimes skipping days of school to grind monsters in the fields. He found a group of friends who enjoyed video games and RPGs as much as he did. They would hang out on weekends and play for hours without getting off. If he was taking a break, it was most likely because he was hungry or he needed to use the washroom. Eventually, he was old enough to move away from his parents house. His family having relatively well paying jobs decided to help them pay for a place to live. He moved all the way from Canada to Tokyo, Japan, since the small group of males were all learning Japanese. They moved into their fair sized house in the city and started attending a college nearby. Despite the group being considered "nerds" throughout their grade school years, they quickly became well known and respected by other students. This was when Isaac discovered a new MMORPG that would end up changing his life completely. The group of friends all ordered their NerveGears. "Well, this should be fun." he told his friends as they began opening the boxes the included the helmet. Of course, he was the only one of them playing at the time he was stuck in the game. After the game begun, Helios was alone, with nobody to go to in the world.

    <PERSONALITY>
    Helios was thought of as one of the nicest people one could meet. He would assist with even something as small as helping somebody up off the ground. Being an easygoing kind of guy, he was rarely angered and often spoke in a laid back tone. His friends always joked around saying "One day, he'll snap and beat the crap out of all of us.", since they played a lot of pranks on him. Even if it annoyed him, he'd let it slide since he didn't care too much. After entering Sword Art Online, his personality did not change whatsoever. In fact, he actually wasn't shocked by the change in scenery at all. He would have dreams about living in an RPG ever since he began playing them. After they became a reality, it made him want to help as many people as possible. That was his goal.

    <VIRTUES>
     » Humorous: He loves making people laugh, just like he and his friends used to do, and he tries to cheer people up when they're sad. Making his friends and acquaintances happy was one of his favorite things to do.

    »
    Adventurous: He loves exploring and traveling with his friends, especially to places hes never been to before. SAO has been his biggest adventure yet.

    »
    Intelligent: Helios is a lot more intelligent than he makes it seem. He is able to think his way out of most situations. He likes talking to intelligent people, but tends to hide it when he's around friends.

    <FLAWS>
    » Bewildered: Often when he says things people get confused. He tries to explain to the best of his ability but still, they don't understand. He sometimes finds it frustrating when people don't get what hes saying.

    » Impatient: When he thinks people are too slow, he will sometimes go ahead and do things himself, which can get him into big trouble. Although, if his friends are in danger, he will let them escape before him, no matter how slow they are.

    »
    Quiet: Helios is usually kind of quiet when his friends introduce him to new people. Since he doesn't know the person, he feels a little bit left out when his friend talks to them, and tries not to say anything he doesn't need to say.

  19. Hellooooo everybody :D I'm not really new here but I haven't been on in a long time. I used to RP on here in around July or August under the name of Luke, if anyone remembers me. After the summer I didn't have time to RP anymore so I decided to just kill off my character and quit. I didn't actually expect that I'd come back, but I found it saved in my favorites and here I am! I made a new character under the name of Helios and i'll be pretty active now that i'm back :) If any of you remember and want to RP, just PM me. I haven't done any RPing since I left so i'm probably a bit rusty at it, but I'll get used to it again eventually.

    I don't actually remember how to use the dice and stuff hehe... Whatever, I'll figure it out c:

    So yeah I hope I can once again get to know some of you and maybe RP with you ^-^ <3
