Helios

Nodding, Helios attempted to examine the cave. The area in front of him was much to dark for somebody without Night Vision, like himself, to see perfectly in. "Meokka, how long have you been away for?" the boy asked, curious to know if she had done any fighting while on hiatus. The raven haired player thought back to his "time off" he had taken some time earlier. Absolutely nothing productive had been accomplished by him, which annoyed him a bit. However, he tried to ignore it. It was no longer important to him at that point in time.

After his question, he stayed quiet for a moment to listen out for the young child. No sign of the bats yet. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not though. Helios thought as the three entered further into the cave.

Opening his menu, Helios listened to what the violet haired woman had to say. "Actually," he started, "I just remembered I have some things I need to get done first. If you want to fight the Stone Golems later or some other time, send me a message." he replied with a smile. Raising his hand, he waved to the woman. "Thanks for showing me the wolves. I'll see you around!" the dark haired man told the girl as he began walking away, towards Urbus. He would have liked to stay, but some of his new gear that he ordered was finished and ready to be picked up. "I'll come back later, maybe."

Helios laughed as well when the ginger haired man said he may have forgotten the Christmas party. "You're probably just getting too old to remember things like that." he replied, crossing his arms over his chest. Looking ahead, the raven haired man noticed a couple of birds flying past the two players. The boy smiled as he listened to Jomei speak. "Oh yeah? How's Lowenthal doing? I haven't seen him in a while." he told the man. It had been a long time since he'd spoken with Lowenthal. They hadn't seen each other much since the big snowball fight on Floor 4, and they never really talked a whole lot there. I wonder what he's been up to, now that he's taking Zel's spot as Commandant.

Finally ready to leave, Helios took the cap off of the mitigation potion. Bringing it to his mouth, he took a sip. It didn't taste too bad, actually, which surprised him a bit. Although, he couldn't place his finger on the taste, he new it was a good one, definitely. The man continued to drink the elixir until the glass bottle became empty. "Alright, now I'm ready." he told himself, beginning to walk towards Armadillo's exit. Now, all I need to do is fight the Sand Shark and win. Simple enough, I guess.

(-1 Damage Mitigation Potion)

The raven haired man's eyes fell to the damage mitigation potion he had bought the day before. It materialized in the palm of his virtual hand and he chuckled. "Time to drink, I guess." he said, taking the small damage potion out of his inventory as well, just for that extra damage. However, he was unsure if he should use the damage potion. It didn't really seem necessary, since the boy had multiple sword arts ready to be used, as well as enough energy to use them. Opening the information broker, Helios read up on the shark, looking mainly for it's stats. Thirty damage, One-hundred and twenty five health. No mitigation though, so this shouldn't be a hard fight if I use my mitigation potion. he decided, placing the damage potion back in his inventory.

Helios stood from his comfy spot on a bench and looked up at the sky. I've got new gear, maybe I should check out the Sand Shark people have been fighting. It may not be the newest quest, but it seems like a battle that won't be hard. the player thought, opening his inventory. "I have the potions I bought from Shizuka, as well as the new pendant made by Teselmar. I even have a cookie from my own shop, although I don't think I'll be using it this time around." he muttered, deciding on what he needed. He wore his <<Archangel's Suit>> as well as his <<Cape of the Seraph>>, which were hand crafted by Ariel, a skilled tailor. At his side was <<Kanshou>>, his beautifully made curved sword. However it wasn't enough to last him forever. Perhaps I'll keep the weapon after Macradon finishes my new one and I can hand it off to another player in the future.

A grin formed on the dark haired player's face as he placed the masterpiece, <<Michael's Pendant>>, around his neck.. "Now," he started, "What am I going to need to bring along on this quest?"

After receiving a message from Teselmar saying his item was complete, Helios warped back up to Floor 4 and headed towards The White Stag. Opening the door, the boy smiled. "Yo! So, my item's finished?" he asked, stepping forwards until he reached the blonde man. The dark haired player paid the artisan one-thousand Col before taking his new pendant and placing it gently around his neck. "Thanks man! I'll be sure to come back if I'm in need of a new item." he chuckled, waving as he exited.

Helios chuckled at the boy's comment. "Well, a material is pretty much any item you can use for crafting. If you think it's useful, take it, basically." he explained, searching the area for possible items. "How about we start over here?" he asked, gesturing to the left. The dark haired player roamed the grassy area outside of the Starting City in search of materials, but nothing useful was found. "Well, that sure is a shame. Did you find anything?" Helios asked, hoping the lad's luck was a lot better than his own.

Helios smiled as the boy nodded. "Looks like I'll be coming back soon enough then." he chuckled, taking a sip from his hot chocolate. It had been a while since the last time the player had had a good cup of cocoa. Oh how I missed you, hot chocolate. he thought before the child began to speak once again. The raven haired boy didn't expect a question like that to be asked, but he was happy. "Yep, I do. It's here in the Town of Beginnings, actually. If you want, I could show it to you after we finish." he replied, leaning forward to take a bite of his French toast. "So, what about you? Do you plan on opening up a shop?" he asked, curiously. Sure, he was a child, but this was an MMORPG. There weren't any laws on how old you needed to be to work in a store.

"Sounds fair enough. I'm actually in need of materials for my shop, so this is a great opportunity." he replied, following the man as he started to walk. They arrived at a spot where he had thought a material had sat, but it seems they had both been tricked by the light. I got a bit excited at first, but it looks like there wasn't anything there to begin with. "Shall we keep moving?" the raven haired player asked.

Planning on taking a tougher quest for his level, Helios warped himself down to Floor 1 to check out a certain pink haired girl's shop. The boy strolled down the streets until he came across the Alchemist's place. Upon entering, he smiled gently. "Hey, Shizuka." he started, stepping towards the front desk, "I'm just going to pick up some potions." he told the woman, paying her 1250 Col and taking two items from her stock. "Thanks!" the dark haired man waved, exiting back into the busy streets of the Starting City.

A grin formed on Helios' face as he entered the blacksmith, owned by Macradon, a player who the boy had met on Floor 7 some time ago. Taking his first step inside the shop, he examined his surroundings. Interesting place he's running. I like it. the player thought as he neared the front desk. "Hey, Macradon. How's it going?" he asked upon arrival. Picking up a form, the noirette began to write out the weapon's information. After doing so, he handed the sheet back to the light haired smith.

Entering the shop, Helios grinned. He had heard something about appraisals and wanted to obtain an extra enhancement, if it was possible. "Hey! I heard you appraise items. Do you think it'd be possible for me to get a unique enhancement for my light armor and weapon?" he questioned the red haired woman who stood behind the counter. Although he was aware of the price, the young man didn't have a ton of materials to give away. He needed all he had for his shop. "Any chance you'll take Col instead of materials?"

Holding the door open, Helios smiled. "Alright, we'll check it out and see if there's anything worth taking." he replied as the two exited. Shutting the door behind him, the dark haired player looked around curiously, seeing if he had any potential customers. However, it didn't look like anybody in the area planned on checking out his shop at that moment. Perfect, I can help Comet out then.

Thankful that there were no interruptions, Helios walked with the boy through town until they eventually reached the exit gate. "Well, where do you want to start?" he questioned the child, putting his arms across his chest.
